I don't like it. very much benefits weaker attacking teams that want to play negative football, as it shortens the time they have to park the bus, and they don't ahve to worry about ET causing excessively tired legs in the next match.

Canada really did peak pre-2022 World Cup, didn't they.

they're not terrible on the ball but the reason Argentina is giving them so much space is because they know Canada has no fuckin clue with what to do with the ball once they get into the final third.

Canada will only score via OG or PK.

This match is a bit of a mess.

I’m convinced Canada only made it this far because they used the same park the bus tactics England used in Euro 2020. If Canada had quality attackers who could score, they might score more goals and actually be good. They appear better than they really are, but this is the problem with defensive-minded strategies

Pleasantly surprised by Colombia’s and Ecuador’s performance in this Copa. They look like they can beat Argentina. Brazil has to be the most overhyped team
