i dont love everything, i love football (darraghmac), Monday, 11 October 2010 20:38 (fourteen years ago)

101 overall. only missed 1 of the 100+ scorers (101, has been mentioned in thread!), missed two arsenal players although they are both ones i don't care to remember. Tried putting in Italian 25 and 46 non-Arsenal player and 43 Russian but must have mispelt their names. Most annoying misses are 79, 74 and 57 Spanish as I was too busy racking my brains for former goalscorers to remember current ones!

Here's a quiz question for you (which I apologise if I've posted before - I just can't remember):

What did these teams (and no other teams) do in these seasons?
1993/94 Chelsea
1994/95 Man Utd
1997/98 Liverpool
2000/01 Liverpool
2006/07 Arsenal & West Ham
2007/08 Man City
2008/09 Liverpool
2009/10 Man City

Running the Gantelope (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Thursday, 14 October 2010 07:31 (fourteen years ago)

Go unbeaten until October?

James Mitchell, Thursday, 14 October 2010 08:07 (fourteen years ago)

Who are the only Premier League team not to have conceded an away goal this season?

Inspector Anthony Slade, Thursday, 14 October 2010 08:33 (fourteen years ago)

06/07 was the West Ham of Tevez & (briefly) Mascherano - don't think they were setting any unbeaten records that year.

Ismael Klata, Thursday, 14 October 2010 08:34 (fourteen years ago)

Wigan?

Ismael Klata, Thursday, 14 October 2010 08:35 (fourteen years ago)

Ismael Klata, Thursday, 14 October 2010 10:14 (fourteen years ago)

This might be an easy one as it's not as little-known a fact as it once was.

Who is the only player to have scored hat-tricks in all four of the English leagues, the League Cup, the FA Cup and for his country?

san te cross (onimo), Thursday, 14 October 2010 12:37 (fourteen years ago)

Bobby Earnshaw.

72 and I missed out such unknowns as Scholes, Robinson and Walcott

acoleuthic, Thursday, 14 October 2010 17:16 (fourteen years ago)

82. Got stuck at about 68, remembered a certain skip-kicker who's first syllable was someone i totally forgot and that inspired me to my last 10 or whatever.

i went players i remember sven picking and thinking huh? about (mills, vassell etc.), then the 'big' names of the decade, then through positions, clubs, then just trying to figure out from the letters i'd missed.

Real Zaragoza[edit]
On 9 July 2009, Pennant passed a medical and signed a three-year deal at Real Zaragoza.[32] He made his La Liga debut first round of the season, and played for 71 minutes in Zaragoza's 1–0 win over CD Tenerife.[33] The team had languished near the bottom of the table all season and his performances had also come into question, as he looked uncomfortable and still seemed unfamiliar with his surroundings.[34] On 24 February 2010, he was reprimanded by coach José Aurelio Gay after turning up late for training three times in the space of two weeks; he was sent home on the third occasion and disciplined.[34] He never played for "La Blanquillos" again.
