Completely unwatchable. But he's in shit (IRL too judging from that photo) so it doesn't matter.

He's cute enough, but I haven't had much cause to develop any kind of attachment to him yet. Which is to say, he's been good in some movies that I haven't been that crazy about (Inside Llewyn Davis, Midnight Special, and sort of puzzlingly emo in another (Force Awakens). I'm interested in seeing what he can do in the new Jarmusch and Scorsese pics.

Dover was the only thing that kept the Terry Gilliam Don Quixote movie from being unwatchable.

I hated Only Lovers Left Alive so much it almost put me off even bothering to watch Paterson... glad it didn’t, that was such a pleasant surprise, Driver is the perfect fit for Jarmusch’s style

I have a sizeable straight-crush on A Driver, he's one of those actors that's compelling as fuck imo and his physical presence is very much a part of that

I just started the final season of Girls, the best show of the decade. Can't wait to come back here and the other thread and glow on.

He stars as Daniel Jones in The Report, and while it doesn't bore it goes soft just when it becomes clear to the audience who should've been pilloried alongside the Bushies.

I liked The Report. not remarkable in any way, but politically sound and mostly taut. I really appreciated the Zero Dark Thirty dig. I don't think the torture scenes were necessary, suggestion would've sufficed and compression would've helped, because it those sequences did verge into ZDT territory at times. It was a little soft on Obama, but it's more explicitly critical than any other movie on this level I've seen.

Agree with flappy that The Report's not remarkable, but I liked it too and Adam Driver's very good and felt well cast.

Minor observation... He had a subtle stress tic below his eye in some of the higher stakes scenes that I wondered if he was managing to call up on demand and was impressed by if so. Will be disappointed if that's where any CGI/FX budget went.
