then someone linked to one of their own recently created threads that was only tangentially related to the thread at hand in an attempt to attract more discussion on their own thread, but it didn't work at all.

and Creames Fartpoop said "Wow."

some have even said it was all said on this thread, a little over 3 years ago.: 195,000 threads!

and yet here we stand. here we are. almost. because according to https://www.ilxor.com/ILX/index.jsp, ilxor.com has 199,807 threads. 200,000 is only 193 threads away. but how does that translate to our human days? how long will it take to reach 200k? and who will start that thread? and what will that thread about? and why can't i just wait to post this until it can actually BE the 200,000th thread? why must i instead go ahead and anticipate it? what happened to the self control that i used to rely on? and can someone please make a graph showing the number of threads created per year in a time series, because that would be neat and an interesting reference.

all of these questions and more, probably with only barely relevant images thrown haphazardly across the thread of time, space, and this thread, in an attempt to attract more discussion on this thread. but will it work?
