can confirm the existence of BeatlesS, have a couple of their tracks on a comp CD from the Wifflefist label. not really the same, but feels really odd that there is a female pop star called DYLAN at the moment. who clearly decided, probably against advice of many many people, that it made sense to call herself DYLAN in a field where there is already a DYLAN who people refer to as DYLAN.

I believe that the singer/songwriter Sam Phillips based her stage name on her childhood nickname, against advice that the recording industry had a somewhat prominent Sam Phillips.

Speaking of Dylan, the singer/songwriter Wesley Stace's use of the stage name John Wesley Harding was, I believe, intentionally annoying.
