This is the thread where everyone picks my hair color.

Here are the choices: blonde, red, or black. No other colors please! But you can recommend versions of those colors. This is the final round! Whatever wins I will do for all summer. Fo' serious.

Also please tell me how to cut my hair.

Ally (mlescaut), Friday, 16 May 2003 17:24 (twenty-two years ago)

With scissors, yo.

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Friday, 16 May 2003 17:29 (twenty-two years ago)

I like the black. The red photo don't open.

hstencil, Friday, 16 May 2003 17:29 (twenty-two years ago)

I fixed the link for that one.

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Friday, 16 May 2003 17:30 (twenty-two years ago)

I say shave it off. Shave it off and wear more leather.

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Friday, 16 May 2003 17:30 (twenty-two years ago)

I can't pick between blonde and red.

luna (luna.c), Friday, 16 May 2003 17:31 (twenty-two years ago)

One more reason why Crudders rulez.

Okay, given that I can see all choices, I still say black.

hstencil, Friday, 16 May 2003 17:31 (twenty-two years ago)

(BTW I gave the smartass answer up above instead of picking a colour mostly because I think they all look great)

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Friday, 16 May 2003 17:35 (twenty-two years ago)

Henna red is no good. I recommend the hair cut from the blonde picture dyed black.

Or you could dye your hair black, red and blonde, and speak with a thick German accent.

Frühlingsmute (Wintermute), Friday, 16 May 2003 17:35 (twenty-two years ago)

Ok I lied, red.

luna (luna.c), Friday, 16 May 2003 17:37 (twenty-two years ago)

black is hott
for something summer
maybe die the ends
blonde?

Mary (Mary), Friday, 16 May 2003 17:38 (twenty-two years ago)

I knew this was an Ally thread. I'm not a huge blond fan. Black is classic but shades of red area also awesome.

That Girl (thatgirl), Friday, 16 May 2003 17:40 (twenty-two years ago)

Paisley yo.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Friday, 16 May 2003 17:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Barring the shaved leather look, why not go for the short black lether look? The Trinity look!

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Friday, 16 May 2003 17:42 (twenty-two years ago)

THE MODERATORS HAVE MY IMAGE DIRECTORY MEMORIZED!

I was thinking of cutting my hair short again, this is me with short, darker hair. My hair now is too long and I just pin it up all the time like a schoolmarm.

Ally (mlescaut), Friday, 16 May 2003 17:49 (twenty-two years ago)

Short dark hair's the way to go.

Yanc3y (ystrickler), Friday, 16 May 2003 17:52 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh yeah, I like that best.

luna (luna.c), Friday, 16 May 2003 17:54 (twenty-two years ago)

In that short hair pic, you look exactly like this evil evil devil-girl named Kim I made the mistake of totally falling for in college who treated me like utter horsepucky and toyed with my emotions like I didn't know emotions could be toyed with.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Friday, 16 May 2003 17:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Well, that kills this thread.

Ally (mlescaut), Friday, 16 May 2003 17:55 (twenty-two years ago)

(Nick's story is code for "black".)

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 16 May 2003 17:56 (twenty-two years ago)

What about a darker red?

rosemary (rosemary), Friday, 16 May 2003 17:58 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm sorry, I still love you Kim...er, Ally. Sorry.

I still say you need to paisley up your hair. Like George Clinton, only paisley.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Friday, 16 May 2003 18:00 (twenty-two years ago)

shorter hair and a darker red gets my vote

H (Heruy), Friday, 16 May 2003 18:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Black, with sensible bob. Or perhaps the Samantha-from-Bewitched upcurl at the end.

jm (jtm), Friday, 16 May 2003 18:06 (twenty-two years ago)

red with blocks of black. or black with blocks of red.

gareth (gareth), Friday, 16 May 2003 18:07 (twenty-two years ago)

i have four grey hairs

Yanc3y (ystrickler), Friday, 16 May 2003 18:08 (twenty-two years ago)

red with blocks of black. or black with blocks of red.

That's what I was going to say!

Nicole (Nicole), Friday, 16 May 2003 18:09 (twenty-two years ago)

You want her to look like a checker board?

luna (luna.c), Friday, 16 May 2003 18:10 (twenty-two years ago)

black

jel -- (jel), Friday, 16 May 2003 18:10 (twenty-two years ago)

I just like streaky hair. I was considering putting a blonde streak in my hair but then realized it would look too ginger spice.

Nicole (Nicole), Friday, 16 May 2003 18:13 (twenty-two years ago)

shorter hair, red or black. maybe black, actually...

JuliaA (j_bdules), Friday, 16 May 2003 18:14 (twenty-two years ago)

this is me with short, darker hair.

Is that you in the morning? Awww... so so cute. Your hair looks great like that.

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Friday, 16 May 2003 18:16 (twenty-two years ago)

Seriously though, I think some combination of the very dark of the black and the "yowzah!"-factor of the red would be very complimentary and ROWR.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Friday, 16 May 2003 18:17 (twenty-two years ago)

(although you could be like totally shaven-headed or have hippie-delic white-people dreads and still be ROWR, but you know this)

nickalicious (nickalicious), Friday, 16 May 2003 18:23 (twenty-two years ago)

short & red gets my vote!

Aaron W (Aaron W), Friday, 16 May 2003 18:24 (twenty-two years ago)

I say short and darker red.. darker than the red you have here.. like an auburny.

Mandee, Friday, 16 May 2003 18:27 (twenty-two years ago)

I was considering putting a blonde streak in my hair but then realized it would look too ginger spice.

It is never too early for the mid-nineties revival.

I vote red or black, choose on the day.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 16 May 2003 18:43 (twenty-two years ago)

go with the short, darker hair.
it makes sense for the summer.

kephm, Friday, 16 May 2003 18:51 (twenty-two years ago)

It is never too early for the mid-nineties revival

Now you sound like Geir.

Nicole (Nicole), Friday, 16 May 2003 18:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Ally's hair needs more melody hahahaha zzzzz

Aaron W (Aaron W), Friday, 16 May 2003 19:09 (twenty-two years ago)

My brain is trying to tell me that's not that funny Aaron, yet I'm like almost in tears here!

nickalicious (nickalicious), Friday, 16 May 2003 19:11 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm going to sixteenth all the votes for short and some-kind-of-dark.

jaymc (jaymc), Friday, 16 May 2003 19:16 (twenty-two years ago)

(but then I would)

jaymc (jaymc), Friday, 16 May 2003 19:16 (twenty-two years ago)

Now you sound like Geir

Don't be ridiculous. I said nothing about Dodgy.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 16 May 2003 19:19 (twenty-two years ago)

Leave NeoNed alone, Nicole. He has scary powers in the Matrix.

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 16 May 2003 19:26 (twenty-two years ago)

Sure do!

"Whoa! Looka me! I'm flying! Whoa!"

*cartwheels a la the Puma Man, crashes and is instantly destroyed by all the humans, aliens, robots...*

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 16 May 2003 19:31 (twenty-two years ago)

Well, that negates Ned's vote, sorted. Next!

Ally (mlescaut), Friday, 16 May 2003 19:33 (twenty-two years ago)

corn rows!

john derek (lawrence kansas), Friday, 16 May 2003 19:35 (twenty-two years ago)

Why is TrinAlly mad at me?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 16 May 2003 19:37 (twenty-two years ago)

You look like Tina Fey. I vote for one half pepper, one half salt.

Mike Hanle y (mike), Saturday, 17 May 2003 00:20 (twenty-two years ago)

i like black, or a really dark red.

sand.y, Saturday, 17 May 2003 00:39 (twenty-two years ago)

as an ideological matter, i favor the natural color (i am a hippie). which i'm assuming the red is closest to. and i think that's the one i favor aesthetically. but i'm not going to disagree with what others are saying about the black.

gabbneb (gabbneb), Saturday, 17 May 2003 00:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Hehehe. Picture one (with the ghastly spectre of Rosie O'Donnell) is actually closer.

Ally (mlescaut), Saturday, 17 May 2003 00:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Don't cut it short!!!

I was thinking black wouldn't look good on you, until I saw the photo. All three colors look good on you but don't cut it short.

Sean (Sean), Saturday, 17 May 2003 00:46 (twenty-two years ago)

The voice of opposition! Why, Sean?

Ally (mlescaut), Saturday, 17 May 2003 00:47 (twenty-two years ago)

I agree. It looks great a little longer. I like black or dark red, although the blonde is hott too. I have been drinking, though.

Bryan (Bryan), Saturday, 17 May 2003 00:50 (twenty-two years ago)

I just think it looks better longer!

Sean (Sean), Saturday, 17 May 2003 01:05 (twenty-two years ago)

You were born to be a redhead, Ally. Any shade of it except the blatantly-obviously-artificial ones like fuck-me-on-a-stop-sign.

Tep (ktepi), Saturday, 17 May 2003 02:03 (twenty-two years ago)

actually i liked the blonde best. it seems to suit you.

Ethyl L. K'Hol (Ethyl L. K'Hol), Saturday, 17 May 2003 02:24 (twenty-two years ago)

I like the red. Ally, you are so photogenic.

amateurist (amateurist), Saturday, 17 May 2003 02:45 (twenty-two years ago)

I like the black, personally.

Justyn Dillingham (Justyn Dillingham), Saturday, 17 May 2003 05:10 (twenty-two years ago)

We're not being much help at all are we?

Cut it short(er). The ones who want it long have no mind for fashion, they just think long hair is real purty.

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Saturday, 17 May 2003 05:30 (twenty-two years ago)

oh red hair of course!

http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/5e7ee25b/bc/My+Photos/heat4.jpg?bcSVex.A685l89oM

Tad (llamasfur), Saturday, 17 May 2003 06:12 (twenty-two years ago)

red and short, how about annie lennox c. 1984

Ed (dali), Saturday, 17 May 2003 06:38 (twenty-two years ago)

I like reddish-brown on you best, I think, but I find it hard to imagine a haircut in which you wouldn't look gorgeous. (haha, that may be a cue for photoshoppers)

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Saturday, 17 May 2003 10:07 (twenty-two years ago)

. The ones who want it long have no mind for fashion, they just think long hair is real purty.

that's right. it's what we call "classic".

gabbneb (gabbneb), Saturday, 17 May 2003 12:05 (twenty-two years ago)

if it's long, then red; if it's short, then black. It's really very simple.

teeny (teeny), Saturday, 17 May 2003 13:36 (twenty-two years ago)

you should mix all three colours in a 1:1:1 ratio and see what that does. if you don't like it vary the ratio.

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Saturday, 17 May 2003 13:41 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah, don't cut it too short.

jel -- (jel), Saturday, 17 May 2003 16:53 (twenty-two years ago)

That haircut on the webcam picture is perfect. Get that again. Shit, I should get *my* hair done like that.

Kim (Kim), Saturday, 17 May 2003 17:44 (twenty-two years ago)

Long and full cut, dyed black, thanks.

Squirrel_Police (Squirrel_Police), Saturday, 17 May 2003 17:47 (twenty-two years ago)

I agree with Sean. The hair-pinned-up thing is sexy to the maxxxxx.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Saturday, 17 May 2003 17:49 (twenty-two years ago)

i like the red best. it looks most natural but not dull.

Maria (Maria), Saturday, 17 May 2003 17:54 (twenty-two years ago)

I 3rd the extreme sexiness of pinned-up hair. And I've always had a thing for redheads.

oops (Oops), Saturday, 17 May 2003 17:57 (twenty-two years ago)

I think you should cut your hair to look like Yanc3y's.

Actually to echo what Nickalish said I thought that short hair photo looked like a still from some Lifetime Movie Of The Week. Scary!

What, uh, what's your actual hair color?

Chris P (Chris P), Sunday, 18 May 2003 00:19 (twenty-two years ago)

Dark blonde.

Ally (mlescaut), Sunday, 18 May 2003 08:10 (twenty-two years ago)

i think the blond and webcam pics are the best. so go for shorter and a rich (but not too reddish) mid brown, maybe with some blocky lolites. have you seen chan marshall's hair colour lately? like that.
this is what it looks like now (i cant find a colour version)

minna (minna), Sunday, 18 May 2003 10:37 (twenty-two years ago)

Get your hair done like Matos! Like this:
http://homepages.dsl.ca/~sean/dumbstuff/allymatos2.jpg

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Sunday, 18 May 2003 13:45 (twenty-two years ago)

and grow a beard too. you'll look much better.

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Sunday, 18 May 2003 13:56 (twenty-two years ago)

short blonde hair.

no question about it.

BurmaKitty (BurmaKitty), Sunday, 18 May 2003 14:23 (twenty-two years ago)

Any length and darker red.

toraneko (toraneko), Sunday, 18 May 2003 15:03 (twenty-two years ago)

Forget blond, red and black: I was just on Bedford Avenue and the ladies are rocking the orange look. While you're there stop in at the Mini Mini Mart and pick up some My Little Pony wristbands and patches; and especially MLP ***barettes*** to place in your newly tinged hair.

Mary (Mary), Sunday, 18 May 2003 23:37 (twenty-two years ago)

oh, and ally, i think the short haircut looks incredible on you.

Maria (Maria), Sunday, 18 May 2003 23:42 (twenty-two years ago)

i have four grey hairs

I have sixteen, ergo I'm four times older than Yanc3y.

Matt (Matt), Sunday, 18 May 2003 23:44 (twenty-two years ago)

(oh, black, btw ally)

Matt (Matt), Sunday, 18 May 2003 23:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Natural Natural Natural

Two out of three.

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Monday, 19 May 2003 22:22 (twenty-two years ago)

oh TELL ME that's not what I think it is...

luna (luna.c), Monday, 19 May 2003 22:25 (twenty-two years ago)

It's a dong pendant. This is how Momus's dong is worn in Europe!

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Monday, 19 May 2003 22:25 (twenty-two years ago)

I said not to tell me.

luna (luna.c), Monday, 19 May 2003 22:26 (twenty-two years ago)

No, you wanted me to lie to you. I have too much respect for you to lie.

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Monday, 19 May 2003 22:28 (twenty-two years ago)

You're right. I still wish it was one of those things that remained forever unconfirmed though. I could have pretended it was... um.. well I don't know. You do realize, though, that you photoshopped Momus' penis over a cross?

luna (luna.c), Monday, 19 May 2003 23:05 (twenty-two years ago)

You could have imagined it was a sausage. Or a hot dog.

jm (jtm), Monday, 19 May 2003 23:06 (twenty-two years ago)

Or maybe some kind of wurst.

jm (jtm), Monday, 19 May 2003 23:07 (twenty-two years ago)

It looks like poo.

luna (luna.c), Monday, 19 May 2003 23:07 (twenty-two years ago)

Cockwurst, for example.

jm (jtm), Monday, 19 May 2003 23:07 (twenty-two years ago)

Or you could have shut your eyes and started singing loudly in an attempt to blot out the horror.

Matt (Matt), Monday, 19 May 2003 23:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Pardon me while I poke out my mind's eye.

luna (luna.c), Monday, 19 May 2003 23:10 (twenty-two years ago)

You do realize, though, that you photoshopped Momus' penis over a cross?

Ally's gone native. Real savage-like.

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Monday, 19 May 2003 23:12 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah definitely the short cut. you can pull off any colour but the blond does suit you best.

di smith (lucylurex), Monday, 19 May 2003 23:55 (twenty-two years ago)

The expression on Gareth's face is exactly how I feel about the turn of this thread. I AM NOT BEYONCE, PEOPLE.

Ally (mlescaut), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 01:48 (twenty-two years ago)

I can take the pics down if you want, Ally. Didn't want to ruffle ya. I'm just a little sick, is all.

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 03:15 (twenty-two years ago)

Beyonce has a Momus wang-pendant?

Millar (Millar), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 03:18 (twenty-two years ago)

oh dear, too much laughing first thing this morning.

Ed (dali), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 06:38 (twenty-two years ago)

So when will the decision be made?

teeny (teeny), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 13:41 (twenty-two years ago)

When I get money basically.

Ally (mlescaut), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 18:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Do you go somewhere or do you do it yourself? I used to enjoy going to a salon but have recently re-embraced totally DIY haircare--color and cut are done in my bathroom. I'm glad I have the choice, though...some people have hair that needs professional help.

teeny (teeny), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 18:43 (twenty-two years ago)

I do my color myself, I'd hate to see the results of cutting my own hair though!

Ally (mlescaut), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 18:56 (twenty-two years ago)

I'll cut it! & you can cut mine!

Yanc3y (ystrickler), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 19:02 (twenty-two years ago)

Can I set it on fire?

Ally (mlescaut), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 19:04 (twenty-two years ago)

KEROSENE!

Steve Albini (Dan Perry), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 19:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Wow yr so sweet!

Yanc3y (ystrickler), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 19:05 (twenty-two years ago)

Dan appears to be confused. Sean is Albini, you are Darius Rucker, dude!

Ally (mlescaut), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 19:07 (twenty-two years ago)

Dad, don't cut my hair with the power saw! This isn't Tool Time!

Jonathan Taylor Thomas (ystrickler), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 19:13 (twenty-two years ago)

You're so needy for attention, Stricklah. Jesus Christ, can't I have one decent conversation about my 'fro, Darius Rucker, and Albini without you butting in with saws and shit? I'm gon' start calling you hstenc3l.

Ally (mlescaut), Tuesday, 20 May 2003 19:58 (twenty-two years ago)

two weeks pass...
Yo, FYI you people were not at all helpful and I haven't done anything to my hair and now I look like Alanis Fucking Morrisette. I'm going to chop it all off in a mushroom style and call myself Toad.

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 5 June 2003 13:20 (twenty-two years ago)

annie lennox, as in the sexcrimes (1984) vid would be perfect for you, go on ignore my advice.

Ed (dali), Thursday, 5 June 2003 13:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Blaming us for the state of your hair = an abdication of responsibility.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 5 June 2003 13:48 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah, Ally in adbication of personal responsibility for own behavior SHOCKAH.

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 5 June 2003 14:18 (twenty-two years ago)

i said natural upthread... mine was the leat popular choice but it also stands out.
use money for ice cream novelties instead of dye.

Aaron Grossman (aajjgg), Thursday, 5 June 2003 14:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Get hair extensions!

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 5 June 2003 14:36 (twenty-two years ago)

A weave!

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Thursday, 5 June 2003 14:37 (twenty-two years ago)

jheri curls!

Aaron Grossman (aajjgg), Thursday, 5 June 2003 14:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Get a jheri curl, then put in a weave, then put braids on the weave, then put extensions on the braids, then DYE THEM ALL BLONDE!

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 5 June 2003 14:40 (twenty-two years ago)

Dreads!

Aaron W (Aaron W), Thursday, 5 June 2003 14:40 (twenty-two years ago)

blonde gets my vote but only in total Flock of Seagulls mode. cool for summer, keep the hair-care-products-economy rolling, etc. Plus, with our imminent invasion of "I Ran," it's a timely political statement! < /not enough coffee>

Neudonym, Thursday, 5 June 2003 14:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Dan, like this, right:

http://www.usatoday.com/life/gallery/mtv-awards/christina-aguilera.jpg

I'm on for it.

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 5 June 2003 14:43 (twenty-two years ago)

gyaaaaeeuuurrrgh

what the hell is that?

Ed (dali), Thursday, 5 June 2003 14:46 (twenty-two years ago)

It's Christina Aguilera in one of her many revisions.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 5 June 2003 14:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Dude, she & George Clinton NEED to have a child together; I mean, shit, THE HAIR!

nickalicious (nickalicious), Thursday, 5 June 2003 14:47 (twenty-two years ago)

that was just a CA beta i think her programmer realized their mistake.

Aaron Grossman (aajjgg), Thursday, 5 June 2003 14:50 (twenty-two years ago)

oh lay off Christina. don't you know she's beautiful? words will never get her down.

Neudonym, Thursday, 5 June 2003 14:55 (twenty-two years ago)

she's on her waaay.... she's on her wa-ay-ay..... HOME SWEET HOME

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Thursday, 5 June 2003 15:04 (twenty-two years ago)

THESE INSULTS--CHRISTINA IS NOT GOING TO TAKE IT! NO SHE AIN'T GONNA TAKE IT!

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 5 June 2003 15:40 (twenty-two years ago)

which is appropriate because she does look like Twisted Sister.

Aaron Grossman (aajjgg), Thursday, 5 June 2003 15:43 (twenty-two years ago)

You've really ruined our jokes, you know.

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 5 June 2003 15:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Actually she now looks more like a suburban wannabe goth who shopped at Hot Topic and got it all wrong, or the dude from Dead or Alive.

Nicole (Nicole), Thursday, 5 June 2003 15:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Hey, don't insult my Dead or Alive boyfriend.

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 5 June 2003 15:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Hm, she'd need her dark hair look for that.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 5 June 2003 16:05 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh, right, 'now looks.' Moderator, delete my brain.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 5 June 2003 16:05 (twenty-two years ago)

You've really ruined our jokes, you know.
:-'(

Yo, Alanis is totally not on, something needs to be done about this. If you have to be all rock and shit, please consider the following:

I've HAD my hair like that before. I'm going to delete that pic of me from the net, btw, if you people are going to insist on photoshopping the UGLIEST PHOTO OF ME EVER all over the place! Regardless it makes me laugh, anyhow I decided that Rosario Dawson should actually be this girl Sandy that I know, cos she kind of looks like Rosario Dawson.

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 5 June 2003 16:33 (twenty-two years ago)

two months pass...
The winner after much deliberation and noncutting/dying.

(yes I'm aware of the oversaturation issue with the camera, it's new and I have no clue how to use it. I am the eyes without a face, it's awesome)

Ally (mlescaut), Friday, 15 August 2003 20:01 (twenty-two years ago)

is the hair color realistic though? I mean does the photo reflect reality as far at the hair goes?

teeny (teeny), Friday, 15 August 2003 20:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Not quite--it's more red in real life. I dyed it a dark red, not that it will stick. Apparently black hair dye is the devil.

Ally (mlescaut), Friday, 15 August 2003 20:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Once you go black you never go back... because it's fucking impossible, I have been trying to get rid of black hair for like 3 years.

It looks great Ally.

Carey (Carey), Friday, 15 August 2003 20:10 (twenty-two years ago)

darker red = even better. the cut is nice too.

teeny (teeny), Friday, 15 August 2003 20:11 (twenty-two years ago)

That is the most anime I've ever seen anybody look in real life.
Also: HAWWWTTTT.

Millar (Millar), Friday, 15 August 2003 20:12 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm just gonna go to the salon and have Jose bleach my whole head I think, but that will have to wait. The auburn color is nice but like I said, it doesn't seem to want to stick over the black, I end up redoing it too often...

Thank you guys :)

Ally (mlescaut), Friday, 15 August 2003 20:13 (twenty-two years ago)

HAWWWTTTT.

Millar (Millar), Friday, 15 August 2003 20:14 (twenty-two years ago)

Hahahahahahaha!

I got the camera to stop bleaching my face but now it is all red! I give up! Here:

http://bitchcakes.topcities.com/images/tongue.jpg

I AM SO BORED PLEASE GOD I'M GOING TO GO GET ANOTHER TATTOO IF I DON'T GET UNBORED REALLY QUICKLY.

Ally (mlescaut), Friday, 15 August 2003 20:16 (twenty-two years ago)

Or I'm gonna keep taking pictures of my foot.

Ally (mlescaut), Friday, 15 August 2003 20:17 (twenty-two years ago)

Here begins my least helpful post ever that doesn't contain a pun:

There's a trick for getting rid of black hair dye. (Wait for the unhelpful part.) I don't remember what it is. But I used to dye my hair, like, monthly, and whenever I'd get that layered "uh, dude, you've got some blue showing through your red beneath your green, there, Binky" thing going, I'd go black and then I'd undo the black.

And I wasn't using Manic Panic for the black, I was all-out Clairol-synthetics-and-probably-carcinogens-and-that-hole-in-the-ozone-layer-I-mighta-done-that. So it can be done, I just ... have no clue how. But maybe Jose does.

Tep (ktepi), Friday, 15 August 2003 20:17 (twenty-two years ago)

hawt

Millar (Millar), Friday, 15 August 2003 20:17 (twenty-two years ago)

Tep, you're lucky I'm so bored, because your post just became fascinating. Tell me more.

Ally (mlescaut), Friday, 15 August 2003 20:19 (twenty-two years ago)

That's it! That's why it's unhelpful. Cause I don't know more. I did something. ... there was shampoo involved, but I'm not sure that had anything to do with getting rid of the black, it might just have been, you know ... morning.

Tep (ktepi), Friday, 15 August 2003 20:21 (twenty-two years ago)

... and wait, when did "you're fascinating when I'm bored out of my skull" become a sign of luck?

Tep (ktepi), Friday, 15 August 2003 20:22 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm just going to ignore you and call Tom adorable. Actually I'm not going to entirely ignore you, Prell shampoo strips dye out of hair.

Ally (mlescaut), Friday, 15 August 2003 20:23 (twenty-two years ago)

My hair is also pretty dye-resistant. Manic Panic didn't last more than a couple weeks at the most, and Clairol anything-but-bleach-or-black maybe a month if I was lucky. This is probably the only reason I still have hair.

Tep (ktepi), Friday, 15 August 2003 20:25 (twenty-two years ago)

You should just pour Barbeque sauce on your head!

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 15 August 2003 20:26 (twenty-two years ago)

again(?)

nickalicious (nickalicious), Friday, 15 August 2003 20:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Spencer, next time I send you mix CDs (ps where are mine????) you're also getting a bottle of BBQ sauce, on me.

Um, not literally.

Ally (mlescaut), Friday, 15 August 2003 20:33 (twenty-two years ago)

working on them, I swear! I'm lame with actual mail.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 15 August 2003 20:44 (twenty-two years ago)

I usually am too, actually. As everyone I owe cds to can vouch for me.

Ally (mlescaut), Friday, 15 August 2003 22:12 (twenty-two years ago)

one month passes...
OK I done messed things up, right, and my hair is calling uncle. I tried to bleach it back blonde and ended up with like the top half of my hair strawberry blonde and the bottom half still dark auburn, which was kind of cool (though it'd be cooler if it didn't turn reddish blonde and stayed ash blonde) but not really a good look for work. So this morning, I took the dye I always used to use, reddish brown shade of Castings, and threw that on top of my head. This evened out my hair but has resulted in a color that is SO NOT FLATTERING TO MY SKINTONE. I really look positively ill right now. Basically I know that there is only two ways to really fix this: 1) suck it up and spend $300 at a salon to fix up my disaster and turn my hair to the color I was trying to get--a dark honeyed blonde, which was my natural color last I actually saw my natural color OR 2) the return of the supadark brown/black hair.

Obv. I'm going to go for option 2 because I don't got $300 to spend willynilly on being a moron. So my question in this long drawn out post is: I put permanent hairdye PLUS highlights on my head last night. I put semipermanent on it this morning. If I put more semipermanent on my head TONIGHT, what will happen? Has anyone tried this? I really don't want to go about all weekend with this hair*.

* Which is actually a really lovely color and I did an excellent job, it's just I somehow dyed it a shade that would look excellent on anyone else ever who isn't me.

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 2 October 2003 16:54 (twenty-two years ago)

What's stopping the hair from falling out? Surely that much hair dye can't be good.

Ed (dali), Thursday, 2 October 2003 17:00 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't know!! That's what I'm saying, I am so confused as to what will happen if I put more chemicals on it. I feel I should wait but this color is doing me no favors at all.

That being said my friend Cindy just came and told me apropos of nothing that she likes my hair like this so maybe I'm wrong.

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 2 October 2003 17:02 (twenty-two years ago)

picture?

Ed (dali), Thursday, 2 October 2003 17:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Ed's right. We're scientists, but we need accurate data.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Thursday, 2 October 2003 17:05 (twenty-two years ago)

It's not the greatest idea to do two dye jobs in a row, but as long as you're going darker I think all will be well. Get a rich/deep-conditioning dye if possible, and use some sort of deep conditioner later as well.

teeny (teeny), Thursday, 2 October 2003 17:05 (twenty-two years ago)

I cannot turn my hands into digital cameras.

Teeny, I was thinking that, that since it's darker and semi-permanent, it'd be ok, like Castings or Natural Instincts brand, and then I just load on the Neutrogena deep conditioner and it won't turn horrible? Though I'm worried that the color will not stay true at all (as what happened this morning) because of the chemicals already present?

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 2 October 2003 17:10 (twenty-two years ago)

If you can handle delaying it, wash your hair very well asap, then go a couple of days without washing (to let the protective oils build up) and then dye, shampoo out, deep condition. I know they tell you not to shampoo dye out but I think they lie.

teeny (teeny), Thursday, 2 October 2003 17:13 (twenty-two years ago)

oh just be sure you don't use any sort of protein-containing shampoo (usually they sell these to enhance body) because the protein will attack color.

teeny (teeny), Thursday, 2 October 2003 17:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Nah, I basically only use color-treated hair shampoos. I'm going to end up having to hack all my hair off after all this :D

Ally, if I didn't know you I would suggest turning into a foreign Muslim student and living in a burkha, but I know that all black all the time just wouldn't go with your glasses when you'd lift your veil to study the Koran and stuff

Vic (Vic), Thursday, 2 October 2003 17:45 (twenty-two years ago)

also those russian women who are always wearing babushka-thingees, you could turn into one of those, but then you'd start threads like "this is the thread where everyone picks my babushka print-pattern"

Vic (Vic), Thursday, 2 October 2003 17:47 (twenty-two years ago)

is it such a leap to go from 'hairshirts' to 'hairpants' or 'hairthongs' for that matter???

Vic (Vic), Thursday, 2 October 2003 17:52 (twenty-two years ago)

I think the most distressing part of the hairthong would be the bit that goes up from your crack, over the tops of your cheeks and around your hips.

I agree with teeny - wait a couple days, then dye again.

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 2 October 2003 19:33 (twenty-two years ago)

If I put a lot of leave-in conditioner in my hair beforehand, do you think doing it tonight will be SO bad?

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 2 October 2003 19:36 (twenty-two years ago)

I think it would probably be okay, but I'd wait at least til tomorrow if you can.

(But believe me I understand the OH MY GOD I HAVE TO FIX THIS NOW)

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 2 October 2003 19:40 (twenty-two years ago)

It's just that it's making me look so pale and sickly, it's too "warm" and it's washing out my skin tone badly.

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 2 October 2003 19:41 (twenty-two years ago)

(Why is it that when boys see/hear a conversation about dying hair, they try to steer things towards the pubes?)

(Haha this might be a trick question)

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 2 October 2003 19:42 (twenty-two years ago)

the hair-thong begs a new interpretation of the classic, "you need two haircuts to wear that" joke!

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Thursday, 2 October 2003 19:44 (twenty-two years ago)

I generally try to steer things towards the pubes anyway. That's how you make a baby.

TOMBOT, Thursday, 2 October 2003 19:50 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't even have a response to you gentlemen. I'm not dying my pubes, Perry. And if I DID and they turned ten different colors and it BOTHERED me, I'd go get the Brazilian. I cannot "Brazilian" my head.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Thursday, 2 October 2003 19:58 (twenty-two years ago)

That's the funniest reply you could've possibly done, Dan. One time I was Rainbow Brite for Halloween. I should do that again this year.

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 2 October 2003 19:58 (twenty-two years ago)

I typed "The Brazilian" in Google img search and this is one of the shots that came up. I am posting it because I am imagining that the pilot is steering for the pubes and then I think of Peter Gabriel lyrics.

TOMBOT, Thursday, 2 October 2003 20:00 (twenty-two years ago)

I was actually hoping for some generic picture of a swarthy Portuguese-speaking man with sunglasses because I was originally imagining Ally coming out of the bathroom looking flustered and opening a closet to reveal same - "I'll just get the Brazilian!"

TOMBOT, Thursday, 2 October 2003 20:08 (twenty-two years ago)

As of right now, you have.

Well done.

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 2 October 2003 20:08 (twenty-two years ago)

I think you did that to everyone, you dork.

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 2 October 2003 20:08 (twenty-two years ago)

I got "Set Controls For The Heart Of The Pelvis (Sledgehammer remix)" because I can't actually remember how "Set Controls For The Heart Of The Pelvis" goes.

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 2 October 2003 20:10 (twenty-two years ago)

Oooh set the controls for the heart of the pelvis. Haven't you heard? My name rhymes with Elvis, and one thing I know is this: that your mouth is telling me to give you...a big...kisss. Ahhh, can't you see what's on offer? Yeah babe, it's going cheap today. I enter a room and ALL the girls say, "C'mon Jarv, can I be the first? Oh you make me so hot we feel we're gonna burst!" Oh yeah. So please, so please, don't leave me alone in this double bed. It smells of damp towels and asthma inhalers. Say you're gonna call back later. Save me from these glossy photographs. Save me from my mother's laugh. Save me...that's right girls. Yeah, that's right, girls. Yeah. Save me from my own hand.

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 2 October 2003 20:12 (twenty-two years ago)

I still can't believe Brazil makes its own fighter planes. In fact, EMBRAER makes those twin-prop things that American and Delta fly regionally! It begs the question, why can't America win the world cup?

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 3 October 2003 02:48 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm a bit late but my advice was gonna be to get a salon dye job--at some places in the East Village it's pretty cheap and if you go to a Japanese place like Hair Mates you wouldn't be able to understand the mean things they are saying about your damaged hair. Anyway, glad it all worked out.

Mary (Mary), Friday, 3 October 2003 02:56 (twenty-two years ago)

I need a good burgundy hair-dye. I've tried several grocery store brands, and nothing looks right. My natural hair is a blondish red, and all of them come out too light, even staying on for an extra 10-15 minutes.

miloauckerman (miloauckerman), Friday, 3 October 2003 03:09 (twenty-two years ago)

Ally (mlescaut), Friday, 3 October 2003 12:47 (twenty-two years ago)

one month passes...
omnipotent baby f. christina aguilera ~ "i change my hair like i change my underwear (the brazilian remix)"

You all have until Tuesday, 6pm to vote on my new haircut! It's like reality tv but online! Hair color is not up for grabs this month after the last month horror show but I am looking for new haircut desperately after seeing all the Spencer Chow fap photos--the problem with my current do is that it's just making my face look...wide. And also my bangs grew out way too fast and I don't think I want them anyway cos my hair is not what you traditionally call "straight". So suggest me something and I will do one of them.

Allyzay, Monday, 3 November 2003 05:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Ally, you're mega hot with dark hair, but the blonde look has its appeal also. Come to think of it, the red is also hot. So, uh, there's my useless input.

Andrew (enneff), Monday, 3 November 2003 11:23 (twenty-two years ago)

I think you should cut your hair just above shoulder-length, with a sort of messy layered thing happening. It looks good in my head, anyway.

Andrew (enneff), Monday, 3 November 2003 11:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Andrew your output is not useless! In fact you are the only person with output right now! I was kind of thinking that too, what you described.

Allyzay, Monday, 3 November 2003 14:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Will you hit me if I suggest one of those ultra-angular 80s haircuts?

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Monday, 3 November 2003 14:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Not necessarily. It depends on A) if you are being serious B) what exactly you mean. Example??

Allyzay, Monday, 3 November 2003 15:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Monday, 3 November 2003 15:57 (twenty-two years ago)

That is not so bad but the problem is the texture; my hair is not naturally straight and that seems like a lot of effort to keep going? Because I imagine that'd look shit if my hair went curly.

Of course I could go to a Japanese salon and get thermal reconditioning done?

Allyzay, Monday, 3 November 2003 15:59 (twenty-two years ago)

That look is really high maintenance if your hair is curly.

NA (Nick A.), Monday, 3 November 2003 17:49 (twenty-two years ago)

What should I do instead??? I really don't give much of a shit about my hair, obviously, because it grows so fast so I am really honest that I will do almost anything! I plan to go completely nuts with it when I leave my job and dye it a ludicrious color but that will not be at this exact time.

Allyzay, Monday, 3 November 2003 17:50 (twenty-two years ago)

I like your hair now, Ally, but maybe you should get it cut a little shorter to blend in more with your bangs as you grow them out. I'm always pro-layering too.

I don't think her hair is really so short? That is an illusion! Look at her hand--there's hair coming out of it, she's hiding it and doing faux hair. Sneaky! I will try that in the mirror when I get home tonight, for approximately an hour.

Either that or she has a really hairy back?

Carey (Carey), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 02:33 (twenty-two years ago)

Andrew, you are one of the only like 4 men in the world who look good with that haircut.

I think that this whole haircut drama must be put off until I can get my guy to do it though :(

xpost Carey that haircut is great but that cat!!!!!!!!!

Allyzay, Tuesday, 4 November 2003 02:34 (twenty-two years ago)

ally, i maintain that blonde is best. style = britney in green and/or meg ryan, definitely.

andrew are you croatian?

minna (minna), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 03:05 (twenty-two years ago)

I was thinking of changing my hair back blonde actually but I think I need to give it a dye rest for a while after the disaster I put it thru last month. Just out of curiousity, why the blonde? There aren't many on the thread who agree but I kind of like a lot of the photos of myself that I have with the blonde.

Allyzay, Tuesday, 4 November 2003 03:21 (twenty-two years ago)

yes i am going by the photos too (duh), and not my own personal colour preferences as i suspect some others are! i think the blonde is most becoming on you. it seems more dynamic and suits your complexion.

phil-two (phil-two), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 07:00 (twenty-two years ago)

: D

phil you know i'm right.

minna (minna), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 08:36 (twenty-two years ago)

Croatian? No. I'm of primarily British descent but I think what throws people a bit is the hint of Jew in me (I'll let Dan take it from here).

Andrew (enneff), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 09:40 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't know what Phil's post means in relation to what I should do to my hair :( :( :(

Allyzay, Tuesday, 4 November 2003 14:42 (twenty-two years ago)

it means, just don't dye it GREEN!

phil-two (phil-two), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 16:04 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't look good in green, don't you worry mon ami.

Allyzay, Tuesday, 4 November 2003 16:16 (twenty-two years ago)

Have you considered dyeing your hair khaki?

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 16:17 (twenty-two years ago)

That's sort of the color it turned midway thru last month's hair dye experiment, actually. It looked terrible.

Allyzay, Tuesday, 4 November 2003 16:19 (twenty-two years ago)

by the way, i like black the best.

phil-two (phil-two), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 16:23 (twenty-two years ago)

like wesley snipes' famous quote in Passenger-57... "Always bet on black!"

phil-two (phil-two), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 16:23 (twenty-two years ago)

Aw, that's a shame. I'm all for odd hair colors that are still somewhat respectable (ie, deep red/maroon, jet black with blue or purple undertones, platinum blonde/white, unattainable-in-real-life brown, etc).

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 16:26 (twenty-two years ago)

I mean, since you'll NEVER dye your hair blue...

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 16:26 (twenty-two years ago)

I have had blue hair!

Allyzay, Tuesday, 4 November 2003 16:27 (twenty-two years ago)

PHOTOS.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 16:31 (twenty-two years ago)

I could have sworn there was a thread where I suggested you dye your hair blue and you were all "NOT IN THIS LIFETIME, SAD NEGRO GOTH MAN."

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 16:33 (twenty-two years ago)

No Dan, those are Underworld lyrics

TOMBOT, Tuesday, 4 November 2003 16:38 (twenty-two years ago)

OLD MAN EINSTEIN ON TOP OF HIS HOUSE
WIDE DEEP BLUE
NOT IN THIS LIFETIME
SAD NEGRO GOTH MAN
RED CAR

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 16:41 (twenty-two years ago)

I can hear the beats now.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 16:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Dan, I never said that and I'm going to dye my hair blue January 1st just to spite you, you sad negro goth techno jerk.

Allyzay, Tuesday, 4 November 2003 16:50 (twenty-two years ago)

"Hey, Stinkoman! Everyone tells me you're the Man, but I want to be the Man."

"Nah, you're just a kid!"

Girolamo Savonarola, Tuesday, 4 November 2003 16:51 (twenty-two years ago)

Big fucking ups to Andrew and Minna--this is the best I've looked in about a year.

Allyzay, Wednesday, 5 November 2003 00:06 (twenty-two years ago)

hurrah ally! where did you get it cut?

teeny (teeny), Wednesday, 5 November 2003 00:08 (twenty-two years ago)

The place I used to go to but stopped going to. I don't really remember why I stopped, besides busyness stopping me from getting appointments when I needed to. It's up on 72nd and Columbus.

Allyzay, Wednesday, 5 November 2003 00:15 (twenty-two years ago)

i was going to write something else but then i saw sad negro goth techno jerk (!!!) can we just lock the thread after she says jerk and close the whole board down?

Dean Gulberry (deangulberry), Wednesday, 5 November 2003 00:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes! Yes we should! Delete ILX now!!!

Allyzay, Wednesday, 5 November 2003 00:21 (twenty-two years ago)

the monkeys have written the bible.

Dean Gulberry (deangulberry), Wednesday, 5 November 2003 00:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Ally, didn't think your hair needed cutting. But the shoulder length was cute on you, so....

(But then, I WOULD say that, having gone nearly-bald, in my time)

And I've just shackled the monkeys. So there....

Nichole Graham (Nichole Graham), Wednesday, 5 November 2003 00:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Do not, repeat, do not combine this thread with the Carrot-top thread. Or Blueberry-top.

Skottie, Wednesday, 5 November 2003 00:25 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't go to a hair place since I returned to my DIY ways, but my hairdresser of olde is awesome, his name is Gay Ray, and once we split a xanax before he cut my hair.

teeny (teeny), Wednesday, 5 November 2003 00:26 (twenty-two years ago)

And how did that masterpiece turn out, T?

Nichole Graham (Nichole Graham), Wednesday, 5 November 2003 00:27 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't care! That's the beauty part! all hairdressers should give you enough drugs to deal with any bad hair cut!

teeny (teeny), Wednesday, 5 November 2003 00:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Do not, repeat, do not combine this thread with the Carrot-top thread

I wanted to post to this thread just to get it above the Carrot-top thread so I could post them to thread connections. Because I am sad. However, I resisted, so thank you for the timely warning.

ailsa (ailsa), Wednesday, 5 November 2003 00:31 (twenty-two years ago)

three weeks pass...
Revive! When I leave my job I'm going to change my hair color! Pick one! Any color except green which is just gross.

Allyzay, Wednesday, 26 November 2003 14:52 (twenty-two years ago)

Ahem!!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Wednesday, 26 November 2003 15:16 (twenty-two years ago)

Pinkpanther is on the march against anti-greenists!

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 26 November 2003 15:51 (twenty-two years ago)

you should do superred, like miki from lush.

teeny (teeny), Wednesday, 26 November 2003 15:55 (twenty-two years ago)

FUSCHIA!

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 26 November 2003 15:59 (twenty-two years ago)

fuschia clashes with everything though.

teeny (teeny), Wednesday, 26 November 2003 16:00 (twenty-two years ago)

No it doesn't! I used to have fuschia hair! It looked fantastic with blues and purples and greens and things. (OK, I was doing a lot of acid at the time, but really. It did!)

Citizen Kate (kate), Wednesday, 26 November 2003 16:03 (twenty-two years ago)

And even if it does, that's a bonus!

Also, if you live in NYC, chances are a good 50% of your wardrobe is black, which will just make your hair POP.

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 26 November 2003 16:05 (twenty-two years ago)

(The previous sentence was not meant to sound as Cronenbergy as it does.)

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 26 November 2003 16:06 (twenty-two years ago)

"50%"

Alllyzay, Wednesday, 26 November 2003 16:06 (twenty-two years ago)

I used to use a combination of "Dark Tulip" and "Rose Red" manic panic, which gave a lovely fuscshia colour. In fact, my drivers lisecnce to this day shows me sporting pink streaks.

Citizen Kate (kate), Wednesday, 26 November 2003 16:08 (twenty-two years ago)

I wish I could make fucschia work for me, but I never could manage it and if I tried it now I would just look ridiculous.

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Wednesday, 26 November 2003 16:11 (twenty-two years ago)

(I was going by the general public, Ally. Not everyone can be like us.)

(Except of course I am the former goth with too many pairs of green pants, but let's not get into that here.)

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 26 November 2003 16:12 (twenty-two years ago)

Are you a goth leprechaun?

Allyzay, Wednesday, 26 November 2003 16:15 (twenty-two years ago)

But of course, it explains the Kathy Ireland love.

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Wednesday, 26 November 2003 16:16 (twenty-two years ago)

I think that is the worst joke I ever made, and that's saying a lot.

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Wednesday, 26 November 2003 16:16 (twenty-two years ago)

http://ew2.lysator.liu.se/loth/a/l/alexpass/leprechaun.jpg

I think Black 47 are vastly underrated.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Wednesday, 26 November 2003 16:21 (twenty-two years ago)

BLACK 47 ARGH. Sorry.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 26 November 2003 16:43 (twenty-two years ago)

I was just helping nicole by relegating her joke to second worst on the thread.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Wednesday, 26 November 2003 16:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Dangerous game, this. Remember Barry Lasagne!

Tim (Tim), Wednesday, 26 November 2003 17:13 (twenty-two years ago)

three months pass...
After fighting everyone for however long its been now, short and black is about to win in 5 4 3 2 1... (actually in two hours). Thank you all for your participation in this social experiment, "How much damage will Ally inflict on her hair before she decides to go with the original majority rule?"

Allyzay, Friday, 27 February 2004 19:48 (twenty-two years ago)

That sounds like it would look cute on you, hope it turns out well.

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Friday, 27 February 2004 19:57 (twenty-two years ago)

I've always wanted to do short black hair but I would end up looking like Dave Foley as Hecubus.

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Friday, 27 February 2004 20:00 (twenty-two years ago)

NO! Go with macaroni yellow!

Curt1s St3ph3ns, Saturday, 28 February 2004 00:23 (twenty-two years ago)

haha I've done that before, trust me it's not good.

Allyzay, Saturday, 28 February 2004 00:25 (twenty-two years ago)
