It's Cameron and Nush up, folks. Yay for Steph staying in another week!

j0e (j0e), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 12:11 (twenty-two years ago)

if nush stays in then we might get to see her and scott in the throes of passion (this will have all the sexuality of a pair of naked shop window mannequins)

j0e (j0e), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 12:13 (twenty-two years ago)

nush must go

mark s (mark s), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 12:13 (twenty-two years ago)

nush must go. her nervous laugh is really irritating me now.

Alan (Alan), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 12:15 (twenty-two years ago)

no - this might be our only chance to stop cameron from winning. he can't. he just can't

j0e (j0e), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 12:16 (twenty-two years ago)

THIS THREAD MUST GO

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 12:17 (twenty-two years ago)

Simply change the first word of this thread title to 'Nush' and voila. Two perfectly good threads. (Cameron must win!)

Archel (Archel), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 12:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Cameron looks like the kind of man who wanks off in public toilets

j0e (j0e), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 12:19 (twenty-two years ago)

Do they HAVE public toilets on Orkney?

Archel (Archel), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 12:20 (twenty-two years ago)

fields. same thing

j0e (j0e), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 12:22 (twenty-two years ago)

haha now my "north sea" joke doesn't need to get made

i don't get why j0e's claim is an objection to cameron winning? (steph must win btw) (that's the real objection)

nush must go

mark s (mark s), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 12:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Cameron really really must go, he's annoyed me since day one and finally I can get the git out.

I like Nush and feel she's been unfairly lambasted.

chris (chris), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 12:28 (twenty-two years ago)

With a turkey baster? That Scott is more perverted than I thought.

Lars (Nicole), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 12:29 (twenty-two years ago)

I like cameron and feel he's been unfairly lambasted.

Alan (Alan), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 12:34 (twenty-two years ago)

I like Cameron too. I hope he stays. Nush must go because she makes Steph cry (and it's a ghastly sight).

C J (C J), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 12:56 (twenty-two years ago)

Well I think that if Cameron goes then a lot of Cameron supporters will switch their final vote to Steph to win - because the pair are supposedly bezzies etc.

STEPH TO WIN

j0e (j0e), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 12:58 (twenty-two years ago)

I certainly can't see Cameron lovers voting Ray - or Nush because she beat him in this week's vote (oh please oh please oh please)

lisa on RI:SZZZZZ this morning talking about making the house more romantic by piping in soft music and lighting candles. oh please nothing more romantic than done to death Hallmark-style gestures eh.

j0e (j0e), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 13:00 (twenty-two years ago)

That whole Whining Steph thing was really annoying; basically when girls start moaning that X is prettier/more popular/more 'pickable' than they are, it doesn't exactly reek of class and NEVER improves the situation for them. Nush didn't make her cry any more than I did.

Yesterday I went to interview this artist, Grayson Perry, who's up for the Turner Prize this go-'round. He is a Harley-riding transvestite and his wife is a psychotherapist and she's been a dream analyst on BBLB. His 'female' self Claire looks astonishingly like Lisa. Fortunately he watches BB4 religiously so appreciated the joke.

I think Cameron is a character from Alan Warner land and feel a bit sorry for Nush; I'm sure she can trade up for a better boyfriend once she's out of there. I got the impression her mum didn't think the crusty she was dating was much cop, as seems to be Not Around but insists on control. Having been the 23-year-old with a muso boyfriend on tour far away, maybe I just empathise a bit.

suzy (suzy), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 13:09 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm sure she can trade up for a better boyfriend once she's out of there

basically you are talking about Scott, yes? you better be.

chris (chris), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 13:13 (twenty-two years ago)

I always thought Lisa looked like J.K. Rowling but was too scared to make this point.

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 13:14 (twenty-two years ago)

suzy what d'you think of GP's actual art? He is an outre mainstay of "crafts"-world so out of loyalty i shd be pro him but i think it's a bit meh, really (he's notthing unusual technically as a maker and the collage-transfer images, well, yes they are "transgressive" but in a zzzz way... sistrah becky saw him give a lecture at a recent is-crafts-art-yet conference, as clare, and said he was very entertaining but also a bit bullying...)

nush must go

mark s (mark s), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 13:14 (twenty-two years ago)

Alan Warner Land = Lorne, surely? Argyll in general, possibly.

I bet that after they're both out, Nush and Scott will start seeing each other. It'll last about two weeks, then they'll never see each other ever again.

caitlin (caitlin), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 13:15 (twenty-two years ago)

vol six: HARRY POTTER AND THE SECRET PUB

mark s (mark s), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 13:15 (twenty-two years ago)

The steph crying thing was a tiny bit annoying, but I sympathised really - it's been her first bit of self indulgence for 8 weeks. Jon was being super insensitive and I can see the pressure of the popularity contest just spilled over a bit. She kept most of it to herself (well away from the group anyway) and in the loo.

So who voted what? My guess is that Ray tipped the balance from the Nush/Scott/Ray pact

[Ray: Nush and Cam
Scott: Steph and Cam
Nush: Steph and Cam
Cam: Nush and Ray
Steph: Nush and Scott

Nush 3, Cam 3, Steph 2, Ray and Scott 1 each. ]

JK Rowling thing was in Heat of course.

Alan (Alan), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 13:16 (twenty-two years ago)

From looking at Digital spy - Alang = spot on.

chris (chris), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 13:19 (twenty-two years ago)

Steph is being very very clever shocker. The whole single, solitary breakdown won at least Ray on her side - plus the Nush/Scott paranoia from people who really want to win means that next week we can concentrate on voting Steph to win.

Pete (Pete), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 13:20 (twenty-two years ago)

Me in agreeing with Chris shockah. Nush must stay. Cameron must go. Intelligent people taking this show seriously must go.

Mark C (Mark C), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 13:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Hurrah me and Heat in mindmeld. Does this mean I can have a job there?

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 13:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Would you want one?

C J (C J), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 13:24 (twenty-two years ago)

maybe they can work for you?

mark s (mark s), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 13:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Mark, strangely enough, on my way to GP's house I was thinking of you because he's equidistant from my flat/your office and obv. what he does and the way he likes to connect it to sexuality is really interesting. I like the work but oddly, the single most affecting piece he's done is the St George flag with the slave-ship cargo embroidered in a subtle way. Made me all stingy-teary-eyed when I figured out what it was. The pots are a carrier for subversion and I'm drawn to the non-transfer stuff (even though the transfers he chooses are not random by any means). In short, I could not under any circumstances produce craft-wise what he does, and I like the intellectual intent and the examination of Englishness (which is the part of it I *could* do).

I don't think anyone in the BB house is capable of tactical behaviour f'real.

suzy (suzy), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 13:36 (twenty-two years ago)

I am torn: I think Nush is really very beautiful, but Cameron may yet go crazy.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 18:31 (twenty-two years ago)

what would the remaining contestants spend the money on?

stevem (blueski), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 18:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Ray is a bit tense atm, isn't he?

RickyT (RickyT), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 20:17 (twenty-two years ago)

This year's Turner coverage = tedious battle of superannuated enfants terribles while Serota and the chaps get on with deciding whether to award it to Gallaccio or Doherty?

I'd be quite relaxed about it going to any of them this year, I think they're all pretty good.

More to the point: they keep saying it's the last time they'll have to nominate. So now we just have four public votes? (One on Wed / Thurs, one on teatime Friday and one at the close of play on Friday?) If Cameron goes, will Steph be so isolated that she's teary all the time and the public tires of her (cf Sissy, still my favourite this year)?

Tim (Tim), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 09:58 (twenty-two years ago)

No, 'Nooosh' so has to go here. If she & Scott didnt get it on in the reward room, it aint gonna happen honey!! Nush has to go, Cameron has to stay to win. Oh & get Jon the f@#k outta there too!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 10:02 (twenty-two years ago)

we'll get four next friday night - like we did last year. fuck knows when jon will be off though.

j0e (j0e), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 10:02 (twenty-two years ago)

Horrifically, Justine got more votes for re-entry than Sissy did, who came last.

N. (nickdastoor), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 10:02 (twenty-two years ago)

cunteron must go this week, I have already spent £1.50 on him and want to see some return dammit

nush must stay in and wait for more revelations about her personal life to be shouted over the wall

j0e (j0e), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 10:04 (twenty-two years ago)

N, I have lost all faith in the British public. I take it that Justine got 2 votes then?

j0e (j0e), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 10:04 (twenty-two years ago)

There is no way cameron is going to win. Unless of course it's fixed, as most of the posters on Digital Spy's forums think it is!

Cameron is not going to lose it between now and the end, so get his smug grin out of the house. I'm sure his accent's got twee-er as the programme's gone on.

It'd be hilarious to see Steph's reaction if Cameron left, and she realised she'd got to stay until the end with Nush. Ray's reaction would be interesting as well....

Vicky (Vicky), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 10:06 (twenty-two years ago)

No-one with any sense would have wasted their moey voting against Jon in that most foregone of all conclusions.

Tim (Tim), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 10:07 (twenty-two years ago)

Steph's reaction would be one of chipmunk-cheeked perkiness. I heart Steph.

j0e (j0e), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 10:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Jon is crap he shouldnt have gone back in. The only entertainment value choice would have been Lisa, but then I would've stopped watching as I cannot stand her either!! Jon with his 'I don't think the show is real enough' crap! I mean if it was 'real' everybody would be telling him how unfunny & shit he is. Nush cannot stay in!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 10:11 (twenty-two years ago)

Fed going back in would have been brilliant.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 10:14 (twenty-two years ago)

so far it has suited me exactly perfectly: haha ray's strop eg

nush must go

mark s (mark s), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 10:20 (twenty-two years ago)

pricktease nush must stay to increase scott's levels of sexual tension which might result in him punching jon

j0e (j0e), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 10:26 (twenty-two years ago)

As I said before, I wanted Lisa to go straight back and scare the wits out of them.

But anyway, yeah. Justine got 3% and Sissy 2%, Lisa was second but still only got about 20%, I think.

N. (nickdastoor), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 10:34 (twenty-two years ago)

surely some of this is "reality tv lightweight syndrome" = i have forgotten who they are anyway so why waste a vote?

nush must go

mark s (mark s), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 11:02 (twenty-two years ago)

After discovering that Cameron can speak fluent French and Norwegian (or something) I would love to hear how he does that. I imagine his accents might be even more hilarious than his Scottish one. I heart Cameron by the way and I am not mocking him, oh no.

C J (C J), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 11:44 (twenty-two years ago)

i loath steph

Chip Morningstar (bob), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 11:49 (twenty-two years ago)

i groome chip morningstar

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 12:00 (twenty-two years ago)

I so love that picture.

j0e (j0e), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 12:05 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm setting a tenner aside for the vote Cameron out campaign.

chris (chris), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 13:03 (twenty-two years ago)

I'll match that ;0)

Hopefully tickle fans of the world will unite behind Nush.

Vicky (Vicky), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 13:10 (twenty-two years ago)

They wish.

Archel (Archel), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 13:10 (twenty-two years ago)

He is very creepy around her, isn't he?!

Vicky (Vicky), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 13:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Ack - the RI:SZZZZ poll had Nush in the lead with 60%

come on kids

CAMERON MUST GO

j0e (j0e), Thursday, 17 July 2003 08:59 (twenty-two years ago)

It's ok, we spent most of last night voting for him.

Steph is getting more and more irritating, and even nasty, she has to go.

chris (chris), Thursday, 17 July 2003 09:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Steph Must Win

j0e (j0e), Thursday, 17 July 2003 09:04 (twenty-two years ago)

She had a big bust up with Ray last night.

chris (chris), Thursday, 17 July 2003 09:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Ah, in my peaceful state of non-TV, I now have a zenlike confidence that Cameron will win and all will remain right with the world...

Archel (Archel), Thursday, 17 July 2003 09:22 (twenty-two years ago)

you obviously haven't been watching it lately Archel.

chris (chris), Thursday, 17 July 2003 09:24 (twenty-two years ago)

j0e, your endless championing of Steph, who is quite frankly rubbish, is perplexing to say the least.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Thursday, 17 July 2003 09:29 (twenty-two years ago)

i quite like scott's newly woken hormonal sweetness

this is why nush must go

jon's projected conspiracies stir things up nicely

mark s (mark s), Thursday, 17 July 2003 09:32 (twenty-two years ago)

Cameron said that he wanted to suffocate Nush when she was drunk. Ray wasn't impressed.

How can he say that about drunken Nush, when drinken steph is ten times more annoying, in every way?

Nush and Scott were getting cosy last night, I think she should stay in.

Vicky (Vicky), Thursday, 17 July 2003 10:07 (twenty-two years ago)

they stayed in the same bed together last night, awwwww

chris (chris), Thursday, 17 July 2003 10:15 (twenty-two years ago)

ray is never impressed

nush goes => scott becomes lovelorn and resentful (has he been annoyed yet?)

mark s (mark s), Thursday, 17 July 2003 10:20 (twenty-two years ago)

he gets annoyed when people argue, bless him.

Cameron should go so steph gets more and more isolated and steadily disappears leaving only a pair of front teeth.

chris (chris), Thursday, 17 July 2003 10:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Nush is just trying to get the public's support by dangling that 'I might f@#k him carrot'! WE WILL NOT BUY IT! NUSH TO GO!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Thursday, 17 July 2003 10:23 (twenty-two years ago)

If Cameron goes Steph is going to be very good value. She's already cracking up, without Cameron she's going to feel completely isolated, there'll be more tears, I think she'll get more scheming, more attention seeking, which will piss the others off even more... Better tv that having Cameron still in the house, and much better tv than a love lorn scott.

I don't know when I took against steph, but it was very quick.

Vicky (Vicky), Thursday, 17 July 2003 10:24 (twenty-two years ago)

I have missed it recently. What are they doing sleeping in the same bed? Is this still the reward room? How many nights have they had in there?

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 17 July 2003 11:13 (twenty-two years ago)

I think the geezer Ray is revolting. His tantrums bear a threat of violence. He should never have been allowed in the contest.

He is hateful.

the pinefox, Thursday, 17 July 2003 11:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Nush is going to fuck a carrot? Honestly, I turn my back for three days...

Archel (Archel), Thursday, 17 July 2003 11:27 (twenty-two years ago)

pinefox is OTM (blimey)

Alan (Alan), Thursday, 17 July 2003 11:29 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes Archel, it's all very disturbing. The things they show on E4 these days...*sighs*

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Thursday, 17 July 2003 11:31 (twenty-two years ago)

Nick, they were only in the reward room that one night, and I don't think they were in the same bed last night, just adjacent beds. Apparently they all slept in the girls bedroom last night.

Vicky (Vicky), Thursday, 17 July 2003 11:36 (twenty-two years ago)

I can't see it in Ray, he's just an angry sort of feller.

chris (chris), Thursday, 17 July 2003 11:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Can't see what - a carrot?

the pinefox, Thursday, 17 July 2003 11:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh no, i think ray could flip when fueled with beer, but then most people can! Steph could jar you to death when she's drunk & Nooosh could flirt you to death!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Thursday, 17 July 2003 11:43 (twenty-two years ago)

http://www.everman.org/images/carrot.gif

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Thursday, 17 July 2003 11:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Matt - I like Steph because she is perky, smiley and cleans obsessively. Which is three more plus points than any of the other cunts in there have.

j0e (j0e), Thursday, 17 July 2003 11:44 (twenty-two years ago)

No, all this violence, and badness, yeah, he gets a bit angry but don't we all sometimes?

Anyway, Cameron must go, yes. And I'll be a happy man if I never hear Steph sing ever again.

chris (chris), Thursday, 17 July 2003 11:44 (twenty-two years ago)

j0e - care to take a look at your beloved steph cleaning up thread?

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Thursday, 17 July 2003 11:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Now isn't that better, cos I know you like the pic!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Thursday, 17 July 2003 11:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Steph got slagged off for her cleaning on BBLB. Apparently she's just moving the muck around because she doesn't rinse out her cloth enough.

Vicky (Vicky), Thursday, 17 July 2003 11:48 (twenty-two years ago)

aaahhh thanks PP, lovlay smoilay perkay cleaning steph

j0e (j0e), Thursday, 17 July 2003 11:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Kim and Aggie to thread

j0e (j0e), Thursday, 17 July 2003 11:50 (twenty-two years ago)

haha yes my wub for steph wavered briefly during the singing

mark s (mark s), Thursday, 17 July 2003 11:51 (twenty-two years ago)

I missed the singing - tell all

j0e (j0e), Thursday, 17 July 2003 11:56 (twenty-two years ago)

it's some opera nonsense

mark s (mark s), Thursday, 17 July 2003 12:02 (twenty-two years ago)

she was the worst singer I've ever heard, and I've been to karaoke nights.

chris (chris), Thursday, 17 July 2003 12:06 (twenty-two years ago)

she is by no means the worst singer i've ever heard, but i remember post-punk the first time round b4 the cull-by-repressed-memory

mark s (mark s), Thursday, 17 July 2003 12:09 (twenty-two years ago)

haha if she sounds that good bad mark there's no way im going to miss it tonight

nush must go
>50% of her dialogue is a sequence of humming and hawing like some never-used fast show character

Snowy Mann (rdmanston), Thursday, 17 July 2003 14:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Ray = total menko!

RickyT (RickyT), Thursday, 17 July 2003 20:20 (twenty-two years ago)

Ray is Domestic Violence Man

at least he's scuppered his chances of winning

j0e (j0e), Friday, 18 July 2003 08:36 (twenty-two years ago)

he was a bit strange last night - flying off the handle and then running to the bedroom in tears. He was absolutely hammered as well, I could barely understand him.

chris (chris), Friday, 18 July 2003 08:40 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't think he has at all, at least he's showing some true, raw emotion. I don't think he's crossed the line when it comes to violence at all. Nush didn't think he was being unreasonable, just scott, jon and cameron being over-protective. Nush recognised that she gave as good as she got. (and did you see her pulling Jon's boxers down after she'd been dragged to the kitchen?!)

Vicky (Vicky), Friday, 18 July 2003 08:40 (twenty-two years ago)

did anyone come out of last night well?

mark s (mark s), Friday, 18 July 2003 08:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Good old Scott was a pretty gentle soul, but then he would be he's great.

chris (chris), Friday, 18 July 2003 08:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Erm, what on earth happened last night? Details please!!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Friday, 18 July 2003 08:52 (twenty-two years ago)

It was what happened on wed night, which was shown on BB last night. The party after the opera task - Nush hurting her foot, Steph and Ray having a blazing row, then eventually making up, the them all sleeping the the girls room, larking about, and eventually Ray dragged Nush from the bedroom to the kitchen by her arms.

Apparently a lot of the ray/steph aftermath wasn't shown on BB. Nearly everyone went to have a chat with him, but not much of it was shown.

Vicky (Vicky), Friday, 18 July 2003 08:54 (twenty-two years ago)

they never show the best bits, they prefer to tells us what they're having for tea (they tell us this in EVERY show)

"noosh is cookin a meeyal of bayerked beeyerns and rorst putairtors"

j0e (j0e), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Ray has done this 2 or 3 times in the last 2 months, why is everyone so surprised? WEREN'T YOU WATCHING? His catchphrase "I was only joking, like" = worst defence ever.

Alan (Alan), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:11 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't think anybody is surprised... in fact he seems to get angry every time he's drunk.

j0e (j0e), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:14 (twenty-two years ago)

It's always the same type of thing he does too - suddenly turns on someone, often taking a perfectly innocent remark or something said in jest and getting offended by it then launching into a big sweary unpleasant rant in which he is far ruder to the victim than they ever intended to be to him. He has no sense of proportion when drunk - which is probably true of most people - but in Ray this translates into really unpleasant abusiveness. poor Steph looked on the verge of tears.

Emma, Friday, 18 July 2003 09:19 (twenty-two years ago)

So do we know what was actually said between them or what? And why did he drag Nooosh to the kitchen? I am so confused!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:21 (twenty-two years ago)

My initial thoughts on the remaining housemates, from BB4: First Impressions :

SCOTT MUST STAY.
I like Steph too, esp. for nominating Federico
Cameron seems good.
Jon is a peculiar fellow and must stay too.
Nush looks like someone and I can't think who. She can stay for a bit.
Ray is nothing.

Still pretty much OK with that, I think.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Steph is not exactly innocent though, she managed to bite back nicely. I really can't stand that woman anymore.

chris (chris), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Chris I think she was innocent in that Ray just turned on her in a really nasty and unnecessary way.

Nick the whole point of BB is that you go on a journey of discovery and completely reverse your opinions of all housemates at least 5 times. If you think the same about them now as you did in the first place what's the point in watching?

Emma, Friday, 18 July 2003 09:27 (twenty-two years ago)

No, I like to see it as a way of proving oneself right by refusing to waver in any way.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Smug git!

Emma, Friday, 18 July 2003 09:31 (twenty-two years ago)

I hated all of last year's contestants apart from Fishwife Lynne and Big Gay Alison - and seeing as though they were voted out first I got to enjoy seven weeks of purest loathing

More recently, I've changed my mind about Nush and have decided that she is wicked (that's not the teen vernacular)

j0e (j0e), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:34 (twenty-two years ago)

Steph though Emma, if you watch the live feed can be a really vicious little cow, of course, for some reason we don't see this on the programmes, also, her and Cameron's little bitching sessions and dirty looks aren't shown either, prbably bevcause they don't make as good tv as watching Ray lose it.

Ray is lairy when drunk, yes, but he's not the monster people are making him out to be, at least I don't think so.

chris (chris), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:36 (twenty-two years ago)

based on the c4 clip i tht steph grabbed hold of and kept at the issue WAY too long, and i found the set of her doggedness actually quite unlikeable — it sort of goes to her whole insecurity thing, of course

however ray was spoiling for a fight, and started and got it, and lost it: hence self-pitying tantrum

i agree with n.!! help me!!

mark s (mark s), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:37 (twenty-two years ago)

Mark is bang on, she could have let Ray storm off and look even more of a tit, but no, she kept scratching away winding him up more.

chris (chris), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:38 (twenty-two years ago)

They can all be nasty little bastards, it's just human nature & dumb editing!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Live feed sux. I agree, Mark, that Steph should've dropped the subject when Ray stomped off to bed, but when you are drunk sometimes these things are easier said than done. Drunk people are very repetitive. And Ray started it. I think the saying he is just 'lairy' is letting him off the hook. He is offensive, rude, aggressive and generally obnoxious and utterly unaware of what a twat he is.

Emma, Friday, 18 July 2003 09:40 (twenty-two years ago)

He reminds me of myself

chris (chris), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:42 (twenty-two years ago)

has this BB been the most obviously full-on factional?

early weeks = BOYS vs GIRLS
presently = STEPH<=>CAM vs RAY<=>NUSH<=>SCOTT (w.Jon as semi-deliberate stirrer) (eg actually doing what Lisa was "supposed" to do?)

mark s (mark s), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:44 (twenty-two years ago)

I said that last night too Mark S.

The real problem with Ray right now is that he's having guilt pangs about nominating Nush instead of Steph and is trying to convince himself he was manipulated into it instead of taking responsibility for his own decisions. pathetic.

Emma, Friday, 18 July 2003 09:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Steph wouldn't let it lie either, Ray was very pissed, and had run out of steam, and she brought it all back up again.

And afterwards, she was being ridiculous, trying to get everyone left to agree that Ray was completely in the wrong, that she was being incredibly hard done by, and only Cameron was remotely getting involved with it.

Ray was very pissed, and he'd obviously been thinking about her 'upset' on sunday, and wondering whether Steph had used him.

Vicky (Vicky), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:48 (twenty-two years ago)

I am slightly appalled that Ray's aggressive, abusive behaviour is forgiven on the grounds that he was pissed whereas Steph's insecure, upset behaviour isn't.

Emma, Friday, 18 July 2003 09:50 (twenty-two years ago)

I think Steph's pulling a 'little innocent me' act, and i think the whole Steph and Nush not getting on was created by Steph, and blown out of all proportion, as she seems to be doing with everything at the moment.

Vicky (Vicky), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:51 (twenty-two years ago)

but ray's guilt pangs were deliberately detonated by jon!! what is HIS gameplan? this is like machiavelli on gameboy!!

BEST BB EVAH!!

nush must go

mark s (mark s), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:52 (twenty-two years ago)

"little innocent me" is an act, but "blown out of all proportion" isn't (or if it, it's a very inadvisable one...)

mark s (mark s), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh yeah Jon was a complete wanker with his 'there's so much silly voting going on' followed by a raised eyebrow. Man this guy needs to be poked in both eyes & then kicked in the balls!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:54 (twenty-two years ago)

The past week or so Steph has suddenly come out of her shell, become far more outspoken, more optionated, and more bitchy, but she's still acting all innocent, and at times (when it suits? I'm feeling suspicious) insecure and upset.

It takes two to have an arguement with Ray, and she was very cocky at the start, and goaded him. he might have said awful things, but she did bring it upon herself

Vicky (Vicky), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:56 (twenty-two years ago)

Anyway, vote CAmeron out, cos at the minute he's contributing absolutely nothing, and I want the steph/Nush thing to develop and grow.

Vicky (Vicky), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:57 (twenty-two years ago)

text vote cameron to 85444

a thousand times

endemol (j0e), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:59 (twenty-two years ago)

The thing with Nush is that she tries so hard to get on with everyone on a superficial level which makes her come across as incredibly two faced as she obviously doesn't get on that well with Cameron or Steph - which is fine - you don't have to like everybody! Her behaviour lately reminds me of that thing with Sissy, when Nush had upset her and managed to turn it round so that Sissy ended up comforting her. She is a right cow and MUST GO!

Emma, Friday, 18 July 2003 10:00 (twenty-two years ago)

we appear to have the vote Cameron out number on redial on our phone at home.

chris (chris), Friday, 18 July 2003 10:02 (twenty-two years ago)

Vicky, Ray and Steph weren't having an argument - he suddenly turned on her after she had teased him a bit about something and started ranting, not letting her or anyone else get a word in. Ray needs to have more of a sense of humour about himself and not take himself so seriously - any affront against him, however minor, is always a thousand times worse than anything anyone says to him, in his view.

Emma, Friday, 18 July 2003 10:03 (twenty-two years ago)

I haven't actually watched BB since Friday. which is v.bad, I know. My flatmate was listening to loud rock music in the sitting room with her boyfriend last night, so I couldn't.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 18 July 2003 10:10 (twenty-two years ago)

or worse than anything he says to anyone, if you want my last sentence to make sense.

Emma, Friday, 18 July 2003 10:10 (twenty-two years ago)

Ray made veiled comments, and Steph kept pushing him to make things clearer, and they disagreed. To me that's an argument. he'd had a rant, and shut up, and she kept pushing him, not letting it lie. Regardless of who was in the right, she was stupid to keep on about it.

I'd probably get really tired of Ray's drunken temper, but as someone else said, it's not the first time he's blown up, they should know by now just to let it go. If steph felt she was in the right, she'd have got a lot more sympathy, both in the house and out, if she'd have kept her mouth shut when Ray was there, and dicussed it calmly afterwards, if anyone wanted to join in the conversation, and with Ray when he was sober.

I know I'm being a little unfair to steph, but she's annoying me like you wouldn't believe.

Vicky (Vicky), Friday, 18 July 2003 10:17 (twenty-two years ago)

At the moment I don't really like any of them and don't think any of them should win. I just have levels of dislike. Ray and Nush are the worst, Scott is the best and Cameron and Steph somewhere in the middle.

Emma, Friday, 18 July 2003 10:24 (twenty-two years ago)

yes, Scott to win.

chris (chris), Friday, 18 July 2003 10:25 (twenty-two years ago)

This is a bit much, really.

Tag (Tag), Friday, 18 July 2003 12:00 (twenty-two years ago)

euw, that's horrid!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Friday, 18 July 2003 12:01 (twenty-two years ago)

"Why not impress your friends & download a 3D Talking Head of your favourite housemate?"

I find this an impossible question to answer

j0e (j0e), Friday, 18 July 2003 12:02 (twenty-two years ago)

By 'a bit much' you clearly mean 'the greatest thing ever', Tag.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 18 July 2003 12:02 (twenty-two years ago)

Gos's says "Sausage, sausage" which is a nice touch.

Tag (Tag), Friday, 18 July 2003 12:04 (twenty-two years ago)

will steph's tidy up my desktop for me?

j0e (j0e), Friday, 18 July 2003 12:05 (twenty-two years ago)

I now need to buy a mobile phone.

Cozen (Cozen), Friday, 18 July 2003 12:06 (twenty-two years ago)

Our local off-licence (the one that had "Vote Sissy Out" and the phone number on its pavement blackboard, as referred to elsewhere ) is going for the Nush Out line this week. Renfrew's branch of Haddows is the barometer of public opinion I believe.

ailsa (ailsa), Friday, 18 July 2003 17:42 (twenty-two years ago)

I think I've been right every time about eviction. Yeah, I'm with Haddows.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 18 July 2003 18:05 (twenty-two years ago)

is Nush really 23 as they say? i'm sure her Dad mentioned that when she was 8 her favourite song was The Frog Chorus, and that came out in '83/'84??

stevem (blueski), Friday, 18 July 2003 18:09 (twenty-two years ago)

and surely nobody, however young, liked 'the frog chorus' once it was out of the charts?

stevem (blueski), Friday, 18 July 2003 18:09 (twenty-two years ago)

I do.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 18 July 2003 18:11 (twenty-two years ago)

i felt sorry for the frogs.

jel -- (jel), Friday, 18 July 2003 18:12 (twenty-two years ago)

well that's just WANK.

I want my money back

j0e (j0e), Friday, 18 July 2003 18:53 (twenty-two years ago)

WHAT HAS JON TICKLE LEARNED ABOUT THE MEDIA?? How could they leave us on tenterhooks like that?

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 18 July 2003 18:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Get digital you poxy fule!

Cozen (Cozen), Friday, 18 July 2003 20:07 (twenty-two years ago)

It wasn't on digital! I turned over to E4 and it was Dawson's Fuxoring Creek. Bah.

ailsa (ailsa), Friday, 18 July 2003 21:17 (twenty-two years ago)

But if you care, you can read it here

It's not really that insightful.

I liked when she admitted she didn't fancy Scott at all - I wish Davina had had more time to get her to talk about it. She didn't look that surprised that her boyfriend had dumped her and sold his story to the papers though.

ailsa (ailsa), Friday, 18 July 2003 21:21 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh, and my brother has been checking Cameron's mum in on her flights down to London for the last two weeks. Which is the nearest I will probably ever come to having a connection to BB unless N. gets himself on it one year.

ailsa (ailsa), Friday, 18 July 2003 21:23 (twenty-two years ago)

Will there be another BB?

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 18 July 2003 21:48 (twenty-two years ago)

presently contract is for two more

s.r.w. (s.r.w.), Saturday, 19 July 2003 07:06 (twenty-two years ago)

It was on digital! Because I turned it over and hit the interactive button! Two screens! And highlights!

Jon for BB5!

Cozen (Cozen), Saturday, 19 July 2003 08:03 (twenty-two years ago)

It's Cameron's secret!

ailsa (ailsa), Sunday, 20 July 2003 12:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Didn't we already know that?

RickyT (RickyT), Sunday, 20 July 2003 12:04 (twenty-two years ago)

i think it wz guessable

mark s (mark s), Sunday, 20 July 2003 12:05 (twenty-two years ago)

That's not his secret. He was talking to the others in the boys' room and said it was about someone else, not him. Also, he'd previously said that it wasn't so relevant anymore (just after Lisa left).

N. (nickdastoor), Sunday, 20 July 2003 12:47 (twenty-two years ago)

It would be extremely odd behavour to go around trying to excite everyone about a secret you have and then for it to be 'I'M A VIRGIN!'

N. (nickdastoor), Sunday, 20 July 2003 12:48 (twenty-two years ago)

His secret is he shagged Lisa!?

RickyT (RickyT), Sunday, 20 July 2003 13:10 (twenty-two years ago)

his secret is that lisa is cameron after the sex change!!

mark s (mark s), Sunday, 20 July 2003 13:12 (twenty-two years ago)

is there a hidden time machine in the house?

RickyT (RickyT), Sunday, 20 July 2003 13:14 (twenty-two years ago)

I thought he'd said in the diary room it wasn't directly connected to anyone else, but it was about feelings he had about someone. Maybe he fancied Lisa. Ewww. Maybe he wanted to shag Steph but it has become less relevant since he's changed his mind about her.

ailsa (ailsa), Sunday, 20 July 2003 13:20 (twenty-two years ago)

so who will win, you decide! I say Cameron. Oh & the sooner Jon gets the fuck outta there the better.

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Monday, 21 July 2003 11:07 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm sorry, I don't know of this programme, what's it all about?

[bastard teuchter scumbag]

chris (chris), Monday, 21 July 2003 11:09 (twenty-two years ago)

Chris - you have no place here

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Monday, 21 July 2003 11:10 (twenty-two years ago)

I want to go to the final night just so I can get a huge megaphone and boo Cameron.

chris (chris), Monday, 21 July 2003 11:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Chris - you have no place here

Yeah, you're in charge of ILX Ruin Phase 2 - the footie.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Monday, 21 July 2003 11:17 (twenty-two years ago)

I want Steph to win (which I may have mentioned) but this is about as likely as Davina not being pregnant again in time for BB5. So I wouldn't mind Scott winning and may vote for him just to make sure the fish fucker loses.

j0e (j0e), Monday, 21 July 2003 11:20 (twenty-two years ago)

There is no way Cameron will not win, but if I have to eat my words I'll be ecstatic.

I'm not wasting my money, and I'm not wasting my friday night, either.

Vicky (Vicky), Monday, 21 July 2003 11:32 (twenty-two years ago)

When I got it right and Cameron stayed at the expense of Jon I had a feeling Cameron might then go on to win it. But on balance I still think Scott will.

N. (nickdastoor), Monday, 21 July 2003 11:33 (twenty-two years ago)

odds say cameron, but as the week goes by and we forget scott's rubbish performance while nush was around, he might pick up a lot more votes, esp as this is now a +ve vote, not a -ve one.

Obv Steph 4th, Ray 3rd, but 1st and 2nd will be tight. If Cam wins it will be a triumph of something over something else.

Alan (Alan), Monday, 21 July 2003 11:53 (twenty-two years ago)

I think Cameron will win, because Anti-Cam votes will be split between Ray and Scott. I don't think Scott's done enough to convince the majority of voters that they should vote for him.

Vicky (Vicky), Monday, 21 July 2003 11:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Surely Ray will go ahead of Steph? Are the odds that against her?

If Cam wins it will be a victory for the benison of our Lord. I think Scott will win probably.

mark s (mark s), Monday, 21 July 2003 11:58 (twenty-two years ago)

he'll always be my number one.

chris (chris), Monday, 21 July 2003 12:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Surely Ray will go ahead of Steph after his drunken rants of last week. Crying always produces sympathy votes. Talking of which, what about sympathy votes for scott after noosh said she didnt fancy scott at all!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Monday, 21 July 2003 12:06 (twenty-two years ago)

but scott doesn't know that yet!!

mark s (mark s), Monday, 21 July 2003 12:07 (twenty-two years ago)

No, but the voting public does!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Monday, 21 July 2003 12:09 (twenty-two years ago)

My sixth sense for telly actually led me to watch BB yesterday for Jon's surprisingly sweet "I understand that you have a telly program to make, but I have people take care of". Big Brother then asked him not to do it again. Does BB have much leverage here, or would it damage itself by chucking him out for rules violations (the answer is no, but pretend that this happened a few weeks ago)?

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Monday, 21 July 2003 12:10 (twenty-two years ago)

As soon as I turned BB on last to check for updates I had to immediately turn over due to Jon's little speech in the bathroom. I am sick of his moaning & such when it was his decision to go back in. God this man drives me mad. Why on earth do people think he is such a genius? He is a prize twat!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Monday, 21 July 2003 12:13 (twenty-two years ago)

They should totally chuck him out as a warning to others. It would be perfect because it doesn't really matter much with him anyway. More bite less bark.

He didn't help Nush anyway. He was just patronising her and trying to be all wise and useful as consolation for not getting in her pants.

N. (nickdastoor), Monday, 21 July 2003 12:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Chuck him the fuck out i say. If I was BB rule would be 'anyone who is a twat (decided by BB) can be instantly thrown out.

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Monday, 21 July 2003 12:16 (twenty-two years ago)

"trying to be all wise and useful as consolation for not getting in her pants" — when did this become a crime?

what did he actually do/say? despite valuable stir-it contributions he has been quite boring in himself since he returned, proof that as thomas wolfe wrote "you can never go home"

mark s (mark s), Monday, 21 July 2003 12:22 (twenty-two years ago)

he was being a bit rubbish "You have to decide at oh-nine hundred hours which of the sunday newspaper periodicals you will sell your story for, and you should get paid in rare stamps as they will stay approximately 1.690 percent above underlying inflation levels" (he didn't quite say this). But Nush was sort of ignoring him "ahuh, right, ahuh" while she did her hair anyway.

Alan (Alan), Monday, 21 July 2003 12:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Not a crime as such. I wouldn't want to see him banged up for it or anything.

He said "They will print lies about you in the papers, you must be prepared for that" and "This week is your big chance to make money from selling your story if you want to" and "Walking through the crowd is a once in a lifetime experience". I think that was about it.

Oh err - xpost

N. (nickdastoor), Monday, 21 July 2003 12:29 (twenty-two years ago)

for jon it is surely going to be a twice-in-a-lifetime experience!!

mark s (mark s), Monday, 21 July 2003 12:32 (twenty-two years ago)

oh no SURELY he's not going to get a second interview and eviction "spectacular"? I couldn't bear it - I was hoping he'd be locked in the reward room with wolves

j0e (j0e), Monday, 21 July 2003 12:38 (twenty-two years ago)

maybe he will have to leave the way sandy left (= piss in the kitchen bin then attempt the hamburglaresque)

mark s (mark s), Monday, 21 July 2003 12:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Mark S is right about Wolfe, at least in this instance.

I think Ray will win.

I think the Scott / Nush relation was interesting. I think it was very evident that he had developed a very emotional attachment to her, and also evident, though slightly less so, that she had not developed such an attachment to him.

I think he may be better looking than her. I think his emotional attachment to her had something moving about it.

the pinefox, Monday, 21 July 2003 14:30 (twenty-two years ago)

scott is not better looking than anyone and neither is nush.

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 22 July 2003 15:05 (twenty-two years ago)

soctt is better looking than nush

mark s (mark s), Tuesday, 22 July 2003 15:06 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah, PF says so, too.

I do not.

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 22 July 2003 15:08 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm sure I read somewhere that Jon is being paid something in excess of the 70K prize money for going back into the house. Perhaps BB has some leverage with him, in that if he misbehaves they won't cough up the money?

I still want Cameron to win.

C J (C J), Tuesday, 22 July 2003 15:11 (twenty-two years ago)

I still want Cameron to disappear off the face of the earth, he's a git.

chris (chris), Tuesday, 22 July 2003 15:14 (twenty-two years ago)

For a start his utter smugness whenever people have a hangover after the boring bastard has spent the night sipping water like a saggy-titted, dried up old spinster is a very punchable offence.

chris (chris), Tuesday, 22 July 2003 15:27 (twenty-two years ago)

:(

mark s (mark s), Tuesday, 22 July 2003 15:31 (twenty-two years ago)

Best cabbage post ever.

Mark C (Mark C), Tuesday, 22 July 2003 15:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Thankyou, I'm running on bile here.. BILE!!!!

chris (chris), Tuesday, 22 July 2003 15:44 (twenty-two years ago)

Careful - the CHinese will see you and decant you to make Washing Up Liquid. Its true I tell you.

Pete (Pete), Tuesday, 22 July 2003 16:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Jon should be left in the last two. That way the winner doesn't know they've won, then Davina should come in and totally surprise them. With Jon laughing his face off.

David. (Cozen), Tuesday, 22 July 2003 16:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Cameron and Jon should be the last two. Then they evict Cameron, tell Jon he's won, lots of shock and amazed looks all round, then they tell Jon they were only joking and award the prize to Cameron after all.

Actually, that sounds a bit pathetic :(

C J (C J), Tuesday, 22 July 2003 16:11 (twenty-two years ago)

haha during aurora borealis discussion, cameron explains the phenom as "the reaction between electricity and air" (which is sorta kinda true in a who-cares-anyway way) and there becomes audible the mightly silence of jon's angry brain shouting NO THAT IS WRONG THE EXPLANATION IS.... etc

his explanation was of course a classic "no one who doesn't already understand this phenom will know what i mean" explanation

mark s (mark s), Tuesday, 22 July 2003 16:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh, look it's Elizabeth from BB2's website. I'm glad she's ditched the creepy old boyfriend and taken to wearing leather.

Tag (Tag), Thursday, 24 July 2003 12:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Hm, it's too exciting for words Elizabeth!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Thursday, 24 July 2003 13:01 (twenty-two years ago)

i thought Cameron would be in deep shite after his anti-samesex-marriage spiel:
'because thee bibel says manne shall not lye with manne...' and you could see him hesitating as he realised lesbians weren't covered by this rule....

steph's terminology during the reward-room conversation about masturbation was wtf - she used phrases like:
'ppl carrying out naughtiness on themselves..' & i'm sure i heard her say something about not wanting to 'violate' herself

after that episode i was left with a sinking feeling that scott will probably win

Snowy Mann (rdmanston), Thursday, 24 July 2003 13:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah, Steph said masturbation was a perversion. Mmmmm, yes, dear.

The barometer of public opinion that is our local off-licence now has "Vote Ray to win" on the blackboard. Think they may have blown their 100% record...

ailsa (ailsa), Thursday, 24 July 2003 20:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Not much on Cameron's homophobia. I think for the next BB they should have a school type 'this house believes' debate on controversial issues early on so that attitudes can be flushed out (like in that programme whose name I have forgotten that involved a panel judging which contestant won the prize money, based on what they said to various questions).

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 24 July 2003 21:02 (twenty-two years ago)

Without Prejudice?

Ben Mott (Ben Mott), Thursday, 24 July 2003 23:50 (twenty-two years ago)

E4's Big Brother 'ads' in which they digitally replace one of the housemates with an amusing puppet > any Big Brother ever

stevem (blueski), Friday, 25 July 2003 00:13 (twenty-two years ago)

i cannot stress how brilliant those ads are, it makes me cry with rapturous joy

stevem (blueski), Friday, 25 July 2003 00:13 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't care about Big Brother anymore because Rule The School is back, and Rule The School is the best best thing ever ever.

Tim (Tim), Friday, 25 July 2003 08:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Is that like 'Beat The Teacher'?

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 25 July 2003 08:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Very much like that: there are a bunch of kids teaching a bunch of teachers to do cool things like rap and dance like J. Timberlake. The kids are harsh! The first detention involved sitting this middle-aged teacher on her own in a room and making her listen to Scooter at top volume through headphones.

The best thing is that the cooler, younger teachers come off as the biggest planks of the lot.

Tim (Tim), Friday, 25 July 2003 08:59 (twenty-two years ago)

haha, tim only likes it cos it's almost named after a bellendsebastian song

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Friday, 25 July 2003 09:00 (twenty-two years ago)

I only like you because you're named after my favourite band, Carsmile.

Tim (Tim), Friday, 25 July 2003 09:01 (twenty-two years ago)

I am looking forward to this 2nite, sadly tho, only because it will then be over. I cannot bear to watch it now Jon is back in there & everyone is paying attention to him again. 8.30 Jon leaves=I will start watching again.

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Friday, 25 July 2003 09:03 (twenty-two years ago)

He was vitriolic about Cameron last night.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 25 July 2003 09:04 (twenty-two years ago)

The first detention involved sitting this middle-aged teacher on her own in a room and making her listen to Scooter at top volume through headphones.

This is surely the best thing ever!

RickyT (RickyT), Friday, 25 July 2003 09:08 (twenty-two years ago)

As always, the man is jealous, nothing more to it! Sadly he believes all the dicks that think he is funny, intelligent & the person that should have one.

Emma (to thread) said she was v impressed with the Justin Timbo dance class. i hope they repeat this on sat/sun morning, as I've given up on SMTV (no spongebob, no brian, rubbish wonkey donkey, no eminemerdale) and saturday kitchen seems to have gone too.

Alan (Alan), Friday, 25 July 2003 09:19 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes if they don't repeat it then I'll have to learn how to set the video (haha great lesson for next year's RTS) because I can't guarantee being ill and off work every Thursday. Also quite good on CBBC at present: U Get Me.

Tim (Tim), Friday, 25 July 2003 09:21 (twenty-two years ago)

oo, yes, I've been watching that in bits. the interweb radio station thing. it's on the w/e mornings. before H****oaks.

Alan (Alan), Friday, 25 July 2003 09:23 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes. This week wotsername arranged a proper date with that goth lad who's rich as Croesus. But it all went wrong and a bag of chips was left forlorn on a park bench.

Tim (Tim), Friday, 25 July 2003 09:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Rule the School is great, Tim is (as always, well often) right. Also it is good for my health as the only way I can see it is by going to the gym on Thursdays. I was laughing heartily at the crap efforts of teachers to pull cool faces when dancing and their total inability to rap (though they were all better than Victoria Aitken).

Cameron favours beating children with belts. He must not win.

Emma, Friday, 25 July 2003 09:34 (twenty-two years ago)

VICTORIA AITKEN

RAPPING

stone me that was awful

Alan (Alan), Friday, 25 July 2003 09:36 (twenty-two years ago)

But was it worse than Andrew Motion's 21st birthday rap for Prince William?

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 25 July 2003 09:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Nothing can be worse than that. Nothing.

RickyT (RickyT), Friday, 25 July 2003 09:42 (twenty-two years ago)

I have some vague idea that she rhymed 'girl' with 'whirl'. The punters in the record shop where she was taking part in the rap battle thingy were divided between those in hysterics and those who could hardly seem to believe their eyes/ears. It was achingly embarrassing to watch. our flatmate had to cover his eyes.

Emma, Friday, 25 July 2003 09:45 (twenty-two years ago)

So he could concentrate better.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 25 July 2003 09:47 (twenty-two years ago)

I think he couldn't bear the suffering on the faces of the innocent bystanders.

Emma, Friday, 25 July 2003 10:03 (twenty-two years ago)

UGetMe is okay, but the pace is PAINFULLY slow.

Nathan W (Nathan Webb), Friday, 25 July 2003 10:07 (twenty-two years ago)

It was awful, how on earth could she stand there infront of all of those people?

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Friday, 25 July 2003 10:10 (twenty-two years ago)

I have a record by DVS, the fellow V. Aitken was 'bettling' (her tactic seemmed to be to disable her opponent by making him laugh so much).

UGetMe = slow on a Sunday morning, but caught in daily 10 minute bursts it works better.

Tim (Tim), Friday, 25 July 2003 10:32 (twenty-two years ago)

Okay, the chipmunk girl has been ousted.

C J (C J), Friday, 25 July 2003 19:13 (twenty-two years ago)

:(

mark s (mark s), Friday, 25 July 2003 19:13 (twenty-two years ago)

And now the fools have got rid of Scott.

So now I've got throw my hat into the Cameron camp bah.

Steph was adorable in her interview.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 25 July 2003 19:31 (twenty-two years ago)

Her mother was a nightmare though

C J (C J), Friday, 25 July 2003 19:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Not really.

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 25 July 2003 19:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Incredible shrieking woman.
