BTW, I know my above comments demonstrate that at least no. 7 applies to me. No comments on the rest, except that my disdain of Buffy was immediate and never subsided. I have been accused of gothism a bunch of times, which was the best reason not to be one I can think of. (Apart from the overall naffness factor. I have Sisters of Mercy records. But that's okay; they're not a goth band!)

Hey, the coolest of my HS classmates, the ones I wanted to be able to emulate, could've been considered "goth". I thought they were the most awesome people and I secretly wanted to be that bold, that cool, that noticeable. I even befriended one of them. But the closest I got was being a New Romantic.
