RJG (RJG), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:20 (twenty-one years ago)

sorry about the gap.

FatTonyM84: though I only look once a year and in one store and just at sneakers.
FatTonyM84: I've given up on finding shoes my size in a store that doesn't cater to college athletes.
RJG plays: WHAT SIZE ARE YOU FATTONTM84?
RJG plays: I didn't meanj caps
BatmansAScientst: Hahah that sounds so bad
FatTonyM84: hahaha. God accidental Caps lock kicks so much ass.
BatmansAScientst: RJG is hitting on you!
FatTonyM84: size 14 shoes.
FatTonyM84: so I feel really sorry for jess, who is sixteen.
RJG plays: that is just crazy
RJG plays: how tall are you?
FatTonyM84: 6 four
RJG plays: [I am not hitting on you]
FatTonyM84: aw
FatTonyM84: and he's 6 six.
FatTonyM84: um, I don't know that in metres. Brit.
RJG plays: wow, we could be buddies
RJG plays: we use feet and inches, too
RJG plays: I am 6'2"
sucette66: no, you use hands
sucette66: like with horses and ponies
RJG plays: wow
BatmansAScientst: I'm so short in here
RJG plays: me=6'2", size 12, fattony=6'4", size 14, jess=6'6", size16
RJG plays: that makes so much sense
BatmansAScientst: 5' 10'' size 10
RJG plays: ;-)
FatTonyM84: haha
FatTonyM84: though 5 10 aint short really
BatmansAScientst: It's more than average
RJG plays: you should be 6' with those feet
BatmansAScientst: haha
RJG plays: I think we have discovered a new basis for genocide
FatTonyM84: yeah you're defying scientific law
BatmansAScientst: Oh no! My dear science!
FatTonyM84: mutant!
sucette66: i am 5'6"
sucette66: and my feet are women's 7
RJG plays: you have to cut some toes off and fit into an 8 or I will have to kill you...
RJG plays: ;-);-)
BatmansAScientst: Good thing for those smileys
RJG plays: ;-);-);-);-);-):-(;-);-)
FatTonyM84: It sort of implies you've got a twitchy eye that way.
RJG plays: >:o
RJG plays: 8-)
RJG plays: problem solved
RJG plays: you can't see my weird eye
RJG plays: but I can still see yours
FatTonyM84: that eye is supposed to be brown
RJG plays: it is cold, here
FatTonyM84: cold here too.
BatmansAScientst: :-[
markelby: Hello. I can be the 6" person who's missing from the above
BatmansAScientst: size 10?
FatTonyM84: what size shoe?
RJG plays: has to be UK 9 or you're a goner
markelby: american or british?
markelby: no, I am UK 9
BatmansAScientst: My dress shoe size is 9
RJG plays: sweet
RJG plays: it's mark>me>anthony>jess
RJG plays: we need to build this chain
markelby: not often I'm the smallest
RJG plays: maybe there should be a thread
RJG plays: maybe not ;-)

RJG plays: I am going to start a height-shoe size thread, I think
RJG plays: after I find out how to html tables
FatTonyM84: I kinda hope there aren't too many ILXors taller than me.
FatTonyM84: I was bummed to find out Jess was taller.
sucette66: who are the tallest ilxors? and who are the shortest?
FatTonyM84: If Jess ain't the tallest I'll be shocked.
FatTonyM84: and as for shortest, you'd THINK teeny.
sucette66: she's not tho
FatTonyM84: wow
BatmansAScientst: How tall is she?
sucette66: she's normnal height, i think
sucette66: just skinny
BatmansAScientst: 5'6"?
BatmansAScientst: 5'4''>
RJG plays: my gf is 5'9"
RJG plays: but this isn't just a height thing
RJG plays: there is an added shoe size-based aspect
RJG plays: which will make people more interested
RJG plays: right?
FatTonyM84: I'm only interested in making sure I'm gonna be able to physically intimidate people.
FatTonyM84: so shoe size doesn't fit into the equation
RJG plays: of course it does
BatmansAScientst: UNLEss they are prone and you are stomping on their faces
RJG plays: never discount shoe size
RJG plays: it is the goal diff of anatomical measurements
RJG plays: or something
FatTonyM84: and actually my way of fighting is to push someone to the ground than stomp.
FatTonyM84: much easier to win than if they're standing up.
FatTonyM84: so shoe size does count.
BatmansAScientst: Esp. if you want to appear reproductive to women
sucette66: i sthere a correllation??
FatTonyM84: KABOOM
sucette66: quick, what's momus' shoe size?

RJG (RJG), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:22 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm 6'0", UK 12, don't know what that is in US.

Tico Tico (Tico Tico), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:23 (twenty-one years ago)

i am 6'0" and have Australian size 11 feet, whatever that means

the surface noise (electricsound), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:25 (twenty-one years ago)

Dude where is the fourth column in that chart?!

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:25 (twenty-one years ago)

6'1", US Mens 13

miloauckerman (miloauckerman), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:26 (twenty-one years ago)

I should have put US with UK in brackets or vice-versa. but US is just UK+1, I think. I do not know about australians.

[crosspost] I plead the fifth.

RJG (RJG), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:26 (twenty-one years ago)

i fit the pattern! 5'6" and size 6 in bowling shoes, the americanest shoes there are

minna (minna), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:27 (twenty-one years ago)

I don't know about australians and I don't know about girls and you are both.

you don't fit the pattern; you should be 5' 8" or have US size 4 feet. please leave.

RJG (RJG), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:29 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm over 5'8 and under 5'9 (NA height) and US ~10ish (but narrow). I was supposed to be taller than I am. *sulk*

also, I refuse to believe jess is that tall. RJG either.

gabbneb (gabbneb), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:31 (twenty-one years ago)

you don't really have to leave, btw.

thanks for fixing the gap, mr. noodles.

RJG (RJG), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:32 (twenty-one years ago)

I wish Jess and RJG weren't that tall. Then I'd be KING OF THE FUCKING MOUNTAIN, BABY!!!! JUST TRY TO KNOCK ME OFF!

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:33 (twenty-one years ago)

jess is the ILX equivalent of the sequoia tree

the surface noise (electricsound), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:34 (twenty-one years ago)

i have no reason to stay

minna (minna), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:34 (twenty-one years ago)

OK but think about the pattern.

RJG (RJG), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:35 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm 5'9" (as I believe was stated earlier on this thread) and size 9, although I often wear an 8 1/2 or even an 8.

kirsten (kirsten), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:36 (twenty-one years ago)

And RJG is that tall. Maybe taller.

kirsten (kirsten), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:38 (twenty-one years ago)

Jess is 6'6 !?

I'm 5'4 and a size 3 (UK) but my feet are freaky so I can be the statistical anomaly or something.

Trayce (trayce), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:39 (twenty-one years ago)

the original pattern established can't be right because to be 5' 2" tall you would need to have size 0 feet.

I wonder which of the first four is OK.

yeah, why shouldn't I be as tall as I am?

RJG (RJG), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:40 (twenty-one years ago)

But there are children's sizes, too. A 5'2" person could wear, like, size fourteen children's.

kirsten (kirsten), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:43 (twenty-one years ago)

they better...

RJG (RJG), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:44 (twenty-one years ago)

I was supposed to be taller than I am.

Me too, I was supposed to be 5'8".

tokyo rosemary (rosemary), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:44 (twenty-one years ago)

I can't decide whether to attempt to enforce The Pattern or not.

RJG (RJG), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:45 (twenty-one years ago)

no, 5'2" ppl have points instead of feet

minna (minna), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:45 (twenty-one years ago)

the pattern stays

minna (minna), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:46 (twenty-one years ago)

5'5", size 5 UK, 6 US men, 8 US women.

Sarah Pedal (call mr. lee), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:46 (twenty-one years ago)

eg. the little twirling ppl on msn messenger must be 5'2 in real life cos they have no feet

minna (minna), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:47 (twenty-one years ago)

But there are children's sizes, too. A 5'2" person could wear, like, size fourteen children's.

I thought it only went up to size 13 children's.

Aja (aja), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:47 (twenty-one years ago)

Fine, size 13 children's. I don't know much about children's shoes, believe it or not!

kirsten (kirsten), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:49 (twenty-one years ago)

5'9", size 9 womens which is US men's 7.

teeny (teeny), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:58 (twenty-one years ago)

Shoe size: 9 (US)
Height: 5'7" (but I also was supposed to be taller)

j.lu (j.lu), Monday, 8 December 2003 02:58 (twenty-one years ago)

5'11", 10.5 - 11 depending on brand. Sorry, RJG. But it's close enough, and my growth was stunted by coffee.

Tep (ktepi), Monday, 8 December 2003 03:05 (twenty-one years ago)

you will pay the price or yet another price.

RJG (RJG), Monday, 8 December 2003 03:06 (twenty-one years ago)

Shoe size is 8 1/2 US women's, which apparently is equal to 6 1/2 US men's. Also, to convert to UK size you have to subtract by two, so I'm also a 6 1/2 UK women's. I'm also 5' 8" tall, btw, so you guys are totally dwarfing me. Most of you, anyway.

Tenacious Dee (Dee the Lurker), Monday, 8 December 2003 03:09 (twenty-one years ago)

The real fourth column should be "age at which coffee habit began" (I'm the same height I was when I was 12; that's when I started drinking coffee. No growth spurt as a teenager).

Tep (ktepi), Monday, 8 December 2003 03:09 (twenty-one years ago)

hey rjg did you know that MSN MESSENGER twirling ppl have no feet, wow!!!

minna (minna), Monday, 8 December 2003 03:09 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm the same height I was when I was 12; that's when I started drinking coffee.

This was the age at which I began my relationship with Starbucks. :(

gabbneb (gabbneb), Monday, 8 December 2003 03:13 (twenty-one years ago)

See? (Actually, "see?" only works if gabbneb is also roughly the height he was when he was 12.)

There was no Starbuck's for me, though, nobody'd heard of them until I was in college. This was percolator coffee, at home from my mother's avocado-green jobbie, or at Denny's.

Tep (ktepi), Monday, 8 December 2003 03:18 (twenty-one years ago)

i am 5'11" and have size 10 australian. that seems to fit with jims at least.

gaz (gaz), Monday, 8 December 2003 03:23 (twenty-one years ago)

where's colin? he needs to represent

the surface noise (electricsound), Monday, 8 December 2003 03:28 (twenty-one years ago)

Jess, are you really 6'6''!? That just boggles the mind.

Dan I., Monday, 8 December 2003 03:29 (twenty-one years ago)

6'6" isn't THAT tall. I have an uncle who's like 6'8" and he doesn't look freakish or anything. But I do come from a tall family.

kirsten (kirsten), Monday, 8 December 2003 03:34 (twenty-one years ago)

I dunno, I get so much crap for being the tallest guy somewhere that I get pretty unnerved when I see somebody taller. I can't imagine what life is like for you short people. All you funny little short people.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Monday, 8 December 2003 03:37 (twenty-one years ago)

I love how people are talking to jess when he is not here. it's like those questions people post on ILM.

RJG (RJG), Monday, 8 December 2003 03:37 (twenty-one years ago)

he is always with us

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Monday, 8 December 2003 03:42 (twenty-one years ago)

6' 2" US Mens 11 1/2

Berkeley Sackett (calstars), Monday, 8 December 2003 03:45 (twenty-one years ago)

6'0" and mens' US 11. and 36E breasts. Beat THAT, lads!

petra jane (petra jane), Monday, 8 December 2003 04:42 (twenty-one years ago)

jesus h.

the surface noise (electricsound), Monday, 8 December 2003 04:46 (twenty-one years ago)

Can we have a graph or something made? I mean honestly...

6'1", size 9-9.5 US shoe, depending on the brand, size 8 wide skate, if that means anything to anyone (it doesn't).

ModJ (ModJ), Monday, 8 December 2003 04:47 (twenty-one years ago)

What's average bust size in Amereeka?? E is quite QUITE large, non?

ModJ (ModJ), Monday, 8 December 2003 04:48 (twenty-one years ago)

C is apparently large...E is beige old-lady bras or ridiculous $100+ prostitute numbers. Hence underwear-shopping ranks second Most Horrible Pasttimes Ever only to shoe-shopping (see above. ladies shoes usu. stop at 10).

Any tall, handsome, unfathomably wealthy ILXors fancy a kept woman?

petra jane (petra jane), Monday, 8 December 2003 04:55 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm somewhere around 6'2" and I wear USM size 8 shoes so I'm gonna completely fuX0r your chart and your theory.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Monday, 8 December 2003 05:24 (twenty-one years ago)

how do you not fall forward?

the surface noise (electricsound), Monday, 8 December 2003 05:25 (twenty-one years ago)

I have long arms and walk orangutang style.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Monday, 8 December 2003 05:26 (twenty-one years ago)

5'8" / USM 8

jaymc (jaymc), Monday, 8 December 2003 05:31 (twenty-one years ago)

height= 5'4", shoe size= 7 1/2 US W, i guess that is 5 1/2 US M

JuliaA (j_bdules), Monday, 8 December 2003 05:42 (twenty-one years ago)

Sorry, I didn't realise I was being called to the thread until now. 5'11'' and as I believe I meantioned on another thread, size 9 1/2. I'm average in pretty much every way, physically speaking. With one exception.

colin s barrow (colin s barrow), Monday, 8 December 2003 05:47 (twenty-one years ago)

your massive intellect?

the surface noise (electricsound), Monday, 8 December 2003 05:50 (twenty-one years ago)

that extra arm?

Emilymv (Emilymv), Monday, 8 December 2003 05:57 (twenty-one years ago)

I have an udder. It is a critical part of my dance routine.

colin s barrow (colin s barrow), Monday, 8 December 2003 06:00 (twenty-one years ago)

zzzzzzzzzzzz I'm 6'3" and wear size 13 shoes zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Bryan (Bryan), Monday, 8 December 2003 06:53 (twenty-one years ago)

Bryan is a mighty tall talking electric razor.

Tep (ktepi), Monday, 8 December 2003 06:59 (twenty-one years ago)

i'm 5'3" and i have NZ size 8 1/2 feet. i believe i have big feet, for my height.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Monday, 8 December 2003 06:59 (twenty-one years ago)

i have long feet for my height ( 5ft nothing ), perhaps it is a kiwi thing di?

donna (donna), Monday, 8 December 2003 07:00 (twenty-one years ago)

hmm, maybe not. i have friends who are taller than me and have smaller feet.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Monday, 8 December 2003 07:03 (twenty-one years ago)

5'8" and 9, incredibally dull

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 8 December 2003 10:02 (twenty-one years ago)

5'5" and size 8 (UK)

Me = ILX Hobbit

robster (robster), Monday, 8 December 2003 10:08 (twenty-one years ago)

6'5", UK size 13 (which is maybe possibly US 14, I think)

Alex in Doncaster (Alex in Doncaster), Monday, 8 December 2003 10:12 (twenty-one years ago)

5'11 and a bit, size 10 US women's shoes, size 8 UK.

and my boy is 6'7, and he wears a size 11 UK.

colette (a2lette), Monday, 8 December 2003 10:20 (twenty-one years ago)

you don't fit the pattern; you should be 5' 8" or have US size 4 feet. please leave. Yes, but a US woman's size 6 is equivalent to a men's US size 4. SO MINNA DOES FIT.

Mandee (Jerrynipper), Monday, 8 December 2003 10:55 (twenty-one years ago)

5'7" and 7 (UK). actually I might only be 5'6.5", but ppl don't seem to be bothering with fractions so I'll round up.

MarkH (MarkH), Monday, 8 December 2003 10:59 (twenty-one years ago)

5' 7 and a half" - USW size 9 and a half.

The halves are very important. I am UK size seven and a half, and you just can't seem to get those anywhere any more. Which makes my feet suffer.

THAT Kate (kate), Monday, 8 December 2003 11:03 (twenty-one years ago)

Di, it all comes from running around barefoot as children apparently.

More footbinding and less fresh air and exercise, that's what we need!

petra jane (petra jane), Monday, 8 December 2003 11:04 (twenty-one years ago)

is jess really 6'6"? holy fark

stevem (blueski), Monday, 8 December 2003 11:06 (twenty-one years ago)

Doomie's around that height vicinity, too. (Don't know exactly, the perspective gets all weird at that kind of altitude.)

THAT Kate (kate), Monday, 8 December 2003 11:09 (twenty-one years ago)

My mental image of Doomie has long been the Giant in Twin Peaks and now I know I was right!

Mrs Tico is 5'10" and UK 8

Tico Tico (Tico Tico), Monday, 8 December 2003 11:22 (twenty-one years ago)

the idea of doomie being that tall freaks me out to an unfeasible degree

the surface noise (electricsound), Monday, 8 December 2003 11:23 (twenty-one years ago)

coming next--a thread where we actually post pictures of our own navels to gaze at all day long!

teeny (teeny), Monday, 8 December 2003 11:28 (twenty-one years ago)

I shouldn't talk for Mrs Barry as she seems to be posting more these days but she's 6 foot tall. Fortunately I am not buying her shoes for Xmas as I can't remember what her exact shoe size is - I'll let her fill you in :)

Markelby (Mark C), Monday, 8 December 2003 11:33 (twenty-one years ago)

I am 5' 7 1/2" or so and I wear a US 8.5. Like Kate, the half size is very important. In the UK I have to buy a half size up and that just doesn't feel right.

Mandee (Jerrynipper), Monday, 8 December 2003 12:06 (twenty-one years ago)

5 ft 10 about, maybe smaller. And I am UK 10.

Ronan (Ronan), Monday, 8 December 2003 12:08 (twenty-one years ago)

ha ha 6 foot three and either a US 12 or 13 depending on the width of the shoe - converse all stars = always a 13.

chris (chris), Monday, 8 December 2003 12:10 (twenty-one years ago)

With trainers and soft leather shoes, I usually buy a size down and enduring the pinching until the shoe stretches. Which makes the shoe last less long, but it's still less than the pain of endless rubbing from slightly too large shoes which never quite break in. Grrrrrr. I just cannot find a shoe I like at the moment and this is annoying me.

THAT Kate (kate), Monday, 8 December 2003 12:12 (twenty-one years ago)

my shoes are a US 10.5 now, they are adidas, a pretty good fit.

Ronan (Ronan), Monday, 8 December 2003 12:13 (twenty-one years ago)

5'11" US 10

Chris B. Sure (Chris V), Monday, 8 December 2003 12:53 (twenty-one years ago)

Anthony is 6'4"? Crimeny!

Self: 6'1". Shoe size: 12.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Monday, 8 December 2003 12:55 (twenty-one years ago)

OK, so, minna does fit and bryan and cabbage fit, too.

the rest of you: MAKE YOUR TIME. unless I've missed you and you do fit.

RJG (RJG), Monday, 8 December 2003 12:57 (twenty-one years ago)

I think on this reckoning I have a negative shoe size.

Pete (Pete), Monday, 8 December 2003 13:07 (twenty-one years ago)

6'0'' and size 8 (UK) shoes. Is this of interest?

N. (nickdastoor), Monday, 8 December 2003 13:08 (twenty-one years ago)

"the original pattern established can't be right because to be 5' 2" tall you would need to have size 0 feet"

I'm 5"2 (and a wee bit) but I had feet last time I looked, they're a UK laydees size 5

Why, you ought to submit this to some sort of something so you can win the Nobel prize.

Mandee (Jerrynipper), Monday, 8 December 2003 13:25 (twenty-one years ago)

I think height is nearly always going to be bigger that shoe size. This is not a fair fight.

Pete (Pete), Monday, 8 December 2003 13:25 (twenty-one years ago)

By rounding the halves, you clearly mean IGNORING THE HALVES.

THAT Kate (kate), Monday, 8 December 2003 13:28 (twenty-one years ago)

go tell it to your "too small" feet friends, pete.

yes, I do mean ignoring the halves. I think it's a reasonable margin.

RJG (RJG), Monday, 8 December 2003 13:29 (twenty-one years ago)

You and the rest of society. Especially shoes stores in central london.

THAT Kate (kate), Monday, 8 December 2003 13:31 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm sometimes size 7 1/2 but I didn't want to upset the whole thing any more than I already have.

I guess my small feet are part of the reason I hate standing up for too long - all the pressure on a small surface area. God knows what I'd be like if I weighed anything.

N. (nickdastoor), Monday, 8 December 2003 13:31 (twenty-one years ago)

5'11 - USW size 9 and a half. I have no idea what size I would be in mens though.

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Monday, 8 December 2003 13:41 (twenty-one years ago)

she will have to be removed [etc.] if this is not the case...

RJG (RJG), Monday, 8 December 2003 13:43 (twenty-one years ago)

There are too many discrepancies on all the different conversion sites. some of them had a uk women's 8 as a US men's 8, but others have it down as a US men's 9.

RJG (RJG), Monday, 8 December 2003 14:35 (twenty-one years ago)

That is too perfect. Ok, we desperately need a few more bits of data. If they don't match up with the pattern we already have, we should just declare them outliers and do away with them.

Sarah McLusky (coco), Monday, 8 December 2003 14:39 (twenty-one years ago)

Im 6'2", and I wear a 10 1/2. I feel fortunate.

Spinktor the Unmerciful (mawill5), Monday, 8 December 2003 14:39 (twenty-one years ago)

OK, I've found a converter... (though it looks a bit spurious)

Ha ha, I will throw off your chart, as I'm 5'7" and I'm a USM 8!

THAT Kate (kate), Monday, 8 December 2003 14:40 (twenty-one years ago)

Is this now a thread about Carter USM?

N. (nickdastoor), Monday, 8 December 2003 14:41 (twenty-one years ago)

Except it won't, Kate, as Rich is simply ignoring the data that doesn't fit the chart.

Markelby (Mark C), Monday, 8 December 2003 14:42 (twenty-one years ago)

i am 5'4" and US Mens 6. perhaps once you get below 5'6" the shoe sizes start going up again, so it's more of a parabola. this would explain the short clown phenomenia.

j c (j c), Monday, 8 December 2003 14:43 (twenty-one years ago)

Well, the chart is wrong, then, and I hate it.

THAT Kate (kate), Monday, 8 December 2003 14:43 (twenty-one years ago)

I think the chart is much better than it used to be.

RJG (RJG), Monday, 8 December 2003 14:45 (twenty-one years ago)

Why not just plot them all on a graph? I think Microsoft Excel does that.

NB including the aberrant ones, RJG.

Yes, enough of yr brand of skewed psuedo-science RJG

NA (Nick A.), Monday, 8 December 2003 14:54 (twenty-one years ago)

How do we know that others haven't skewed the thing with their abnormally small feet?

THAT Kate (kate), Monday, 8 December 2003 14:55 (twenty-one years ago)

that's what I told pete.

kerry fits The Pattern, if she's right w/ her shoe size guess. would she care to verify?

RJG (RJG), Monday, 8 December 2003 14:58 (twenty-one years ago)

This thread reminds me of the game my friend Chris used to play where he would throw objects down the stairs, measure how far they landed from the bottom step then keep stats. He filled up a good bit of a summer doing this.

Bryan (Bryan), Monday, 8 December 2003 15:04 (twenty-one years ago)

Bryan (Bryan), Monday, 8 December 2003 15:08 (twenty-one years ago)

I actually went to the doctors again recently and they measured me and confirmed what the last doctor said: in the afternoon I am 5'11" and three quarters. Seeing as I seem to be taller than many men who claim to be 6'1" or more, I feel justified in simplifying my height to 6'0".

(the other day I stood back to back with the allegedly 6'2" RJG and Madchen judged that we were same, I think)

N. (nickdastoor), Monday, 8 December 2003 18:20 (twenty-one years ago)

the other day?

RJG (RJG), Monday, 8 December 2003 18:22 (twenty-one years ago)

But it's brilliant! You can stretch your legs and snog like teenagers.

N. (nickdastoor), Monday, 8 December 2003 20:47 (twenty-one years ago)

Please note that there is no comma before 'teenagers'.

RJG (RJG), Monday, 8 December 2003 20:48 (twenty-one years ago)

fiddo centington (dubplatestyle), Monday, 8 December 2003 21:02 (twenty-one years ago)

i mean in ten years, not now of course.

fiddo centington (dubplatestyle), Monday, 8 December 2003 21:02 (twenty-one years ago)

fiddo centington (dubplatestyle), Monday, 8 December 2003 21:02 (twenty-one years ago)

I don't know how to answer that without sounding overly snarky.

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Monday, 8 December 2003 21:03 (twenty-one years ago)

As long as they can't come back with "You are my father."

N. (nickdastoor), Monday, 8 December 2003 22:01 (twenty-one years ago)

Bah, your table omits the many people who throw out your pattern as if they never existed...wow, just like real science!

coming next--a thread where we actually post pictures of our own navels to gaze at all day long!

We so did this one last year.

Lara (Lara), Friday, 30 April 2004 18:44 (twenty-one years ago)

I didn't consider boobs.

RJG (RJG), Friday, 30 April 2004 18:47 (twenty-one years ago)

would they mess up the curve?

jel -- (jel), Friday, 30 April 2004 18:47 (twenty-one years ago)

okay, I considered them, I just didn't expect them.

RJG (RJG), Friday, 30 April 2004 18:47 (twenty-one years ago)

"curve"

Donna Brown (Donna Brown), Friday, 30 April 2004 18:48 (twenty-one years ago)

Lara (Lara), Friday, 30 April 2004 18:48 (twenty-one years ago)

too close, to tell, and I thought it would be rude, to ask for a mirror or a photograph.

RJG (RJG), Friday, 30 April 2004 18:51 (twenty-one years ago)

Can I confirm that we are not talking about my boobs?

Lara (Lara), Friday, 30 April 2004 18:53 (twenty-one years ago)

RJG (RJG), Friday, 30 April 2004 18:59 (twenty-one years ago)

Lara (Lara), Friday, 30 April 2004 19:05 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm 5'7" and my shoe size is 7. So I fit the pattern. Or at least I would if I had American feet.

Cathy (Cathy), Friday, 30 April 2004 19:05 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh no, I forgot how many inches in a foot. I don't fit the pattern at all.

Cathy (Cathy), Friday, 30 April 2004 19:06 (twenty-one years ago)

I have been meaning to write you an e-mail or so, for a good while, lara. I feel bad.

you should try to try glasgow in mid-june, some other people are, too.

I can't even remember what the pattern was, any longer, and the earlier posts are hidden away.

I hate this thread so much. I'm so used to being one of the tallest members of my family that now I feel completely tiny and insignificant, like you guys could totally stomp on me if you wished to do so. Grr. Cursed stereotypes that are actually true!

(Won't get into bra sizes, but will admit the cup size is larger than the Roman numeral for 100, which just happens to be the age I feel like approx 20% of the time.)

Teh HoBB (the pirate king), Saturday, 4 June 2005 10:05 (twenty years ago)

I'm 5'7, but I don't know how any of the sizes work. Waist 33 or 34, chest 40-42, if that helps (I usually buy 34 and 42 nowadays). Shoe size 7, in UK men's size, but I have strangely proportioned feet - 7 is very tight in width, but far too long.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Saturday, 4 June 2005 10:07 (twenty years ago)

6'0" and size 10 1/2 (US). Oddly my feet have grown a full shoe size since I was in my 20s. Is that supposed to happen?
