C'mon, you've all done it. Here's what comes up for one of mine:

Suzanne Bowes was my first girlfriend in highschool. I have no idea what she's doing on this site, 2,000 miles away from where I met her and talking like some new-age drip.

may pang (maypang), Thursday, 11 December 2003 06:00 (twenty-two years ago)

what's scarier is when no results show up at all.

fiddo centington (dubplatestyle), Thursday, 11 December 2003 06:08 (twenty-two years ago)

only instance of one of mine, and it's freaking old. (top one btw)

anthony kyle monday (akmonday), Thursday, 11 December 2003 06:08 (twenty-two years ago)

tracy lester, you ruined my life; where are you?

fiddo centington (dubplatestyle), Thursday, 11 December 2003 06:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Theres an old bf I'd love to find on google, but I've found nada even close. I think he's one of those mysterious weirdos whose life isnt so much as touched by computers. I heard people like that exist :/

Trayce (trayce), Thursday, 11 December 2003 06:09 (twenty-two years ago)

One seems to be a law librarian in Georgia and another works for a SF comedy group and another seems to be involved with community theater. Two seem to not exist on the web and I can't for the life of me remember anyone else's last name (and a bunch of their first names either, um) so there ya go.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 11 December 2003 06:17 (twenty-two years ago)

"shhhhh baby, last names just get in the way."

fiddo centington (dubplatestyle), Thursday, 11 December 2003 06:18 (twenty-two years ago)

there's only one i'd like to find that i can't. she's in london somewhere.

the surface noise (electricsound), Thursday, 11 December 2003 06:18 (twenty-two years ago)

"Who are you and why are you wearing my Slayer t-shirt? Hmmn. I did? Oh. Um, well I say a lot of things. Can I get you some Corn Pops?"

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 11 December 2003 06:20 (twenty-two years ago)

there are three: two hack indie filmmakers and a hack musician. the one i still talk to just started a blog.

bad jode (Jody Beth Rosen), Thursday, 11 December 2003 06:25 (twenty-two years ago)

One of mine plays bass in bunnygrunt now. Do I win the twee crown?

bnw (bnw), Thursday, 11 December 2003 06:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Bunnygrunt?!?! Fuck yeah!

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 11 December 2003 06:27 (twenty-two years ago)

was raised in the Philippines and Singapore by parents of Filipino and German descent.

My current gf's Filipino/Greek!

may pang (maypang), Thursday, 11 December 2003 06:28 (twenty-two years ago)

oh, of the major ones: one is still one of my best friends and she works for a company that makes bobble-heads; one is dead; one was a junior wear designer and since i havent heard hide nor hair of her in three years i can only assume she still is (and isnt dead or named mother shabooboo now); one still lives in queens; and one you all know still lives in olympia.

fiddo centington (dubplatestyle), Thursday, 11 December 2003 06:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Mother Shabooboo hahahaha

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 11 December 2003 06:31 (twenty-two years ago)

One of mine appears multiple times and in less than flattering terms in some woman's blog and also in another individual's livejournal. Rather distressing really.

mouse, Thursday, 11 December 2003 07:02 (twenty-two years ago)

One of mine posts on the Teenbeat Records message board it seems. I guess she was always a little twee.

adam (adam), Thursday, 11 December 2003 07:07 (twenty-two years ago)

haha yeah i can't remember the last name of my first g/f.

another person i wanna lookup has the most common name ever.

Sterling Clover (s_clover), Thursday, 11 December 2003 08:15 (twenty-two years ago)

Two or three of my exes are VERY googleable as one is a globetrotting singer/songwriter, another is a comedian/DJ, another attempted to become a popstar (and still has his admirers) and another posts here/ILM occasionally.

suzy (suzy), Thursday, 11 December 2003 08:38 (twenty-two years ago)

Mine has a very similar name to an old actress and is thus proving very difficult to locate. Any hints if all you know is their full name and date of birth? I feel like a stalker all of a sudden.

Rob M (Rob M), Thursday, 11 December 2003 09:36 (twenty-two years ago)

argh student journalism makes this so boring!

pete b. (pete b.), Thursday, 11 December 2003 09:57 (twenty-two years ago)

One of mine married a man named Jones and thus disappeared into 15,000 results on Google hell; three are lawyers whose firms don't publish pictures or bios of associates (none of them were lawyers at the time, nor was I even in law school -- it's all a horrible coincidence); the one I'd really like to find shares her name with a compulsive Internet poster and is thus not easily located.

Colin Meeder (Mert), Thursday, 11 December 2003 10:09 (twenty-two years ago)

One of mine is getting married next April (but you all know about that).

My first ever girlfriend is possibly a childcare health visitor in North East Lincolnshire, but that doesn't sound entirely convincing (but she has a very specific name so I guess it is likely to be her)

Markelby (Mark C), Thursday, 11 December 2003 10:36 (twenty-two years ago)

one maybe has moved to PA (but might still be in chicago-- he's the textbook support for PA, but the company headquarters is in chicago)

a couple have such common names that tons show up that isn't true.

one has the same name as a journalist, apparently

one is still reviewing video games.

nothing too exciting or surprising. i stay in touch with a lot of them.

colette (a2lette), Thursday, 11 December 2003 10:50 (twenty-two years ago)

one of my exes came 15th in the machester women's marathon last year.

toby (tsg20), Thursday, 11 December 2003 11:06 (twenty-two years ago)

I get a hit about killer wives in Aeschylus. It figures.

DV (dirtyvicar), Thursday, 11 December 2003 11:09 (twenty-two years ago)

Tom Ewing is not my ex boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife but I like this new Cap'n Tom Ewing better than that boring old congressman and Devon indie band.

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 11 December 2003 11:10 (twenty-two years ago)

one of mine would appear to be a brand manager for a Chinese food company in Kent - sounds about right

chris (chris), Thursday, 11 December 2003 11:15 (twenty-two years ago)

One of mine has decided to relive high school forever and ever by becoming a color guard instructor and starting his own sadass "senior winter guard". So much for that degree in meteorology (although I guess he's still storm chasing on the winter guard off-season).

Another of mine is still living in the same dumpy flat near Griffith Park in L.A. Apparently he's a teacher but I haven't found his school. But I don't care enough to get that U.S.S. search thingy.

Catty (Catty), Thursday, 11 December 2003 11:19 (twenty-two years ago)

I accidentally found one of mine on ILE, ha!

CharlieNo4 (Charlie), Thursday, 11 December 2003 11:25 (twenty-two years ago)

I think that's happened to a few people.

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 11 December 2003 11:26 (twenty-two years ago)

Aw and I thought I was special.

CharlieNo4 (Charlie), Thursday, 11 December 2003 11:26 (twenty-two years ago)

I was making a joke but didn't know that right emoticon to use.

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 11 December 2003 11:28 (twenty-two years ago)

I thought ILE was just full of your exes. Like it should have been called ILC.... a board of all the broken-hearted women you've loved before.

Catty (Catty), Thursday, 11 December 2003 11:28 (twenty-two years ago)

None of my proper exes are showing up (for which I am eternally grateful) but googling one ex-casual pull reveals she is a producer on TOTP (but then I knew that anyway). I need to get back in touch and ask whether or not Andi is on crack.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Thursday, 11 December 2003 11:32 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm still kind of in touch with all my exes but one and she seems to have last had an internet presence in 1994, a year before I went out with her.

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 11 December 2003 11:34 (twenty-two years ago)

I think I've just found a girl I was obsessed with for a few years, certainly the picture looks like her - she now works for the Countryside Commission.

Rob M (Rob M), Thursday, 11 December 2003 11:35 (twenty-two years ago)

a board of all the broken-hearted women you've loved before.

Say what? Unless you know something I don't and there are loads of 'em hidden behind pseudonyms, then there's only one...and no broken hearts.

And to answer the actual question, most of my exes are ungooglable due to them all having got married and changed names in the intervening years. Current squeeze brings up some wicked pictures tho ;-)

CharlieNo4 (Charlie), Thursday, 11 December 2003 11:35 (twenty-two years ago)

You promised you wouldn't tell!

Current Squeeze (Catty), Thursday, 11 December 2003 11:41 (twenty-two years ago)

My most recent ex was on ILE when we were going out.

One is apparently working on Point to point GHz digital radios and FPGA implementation of digital radio hardware. Another is a lecturer in medieval history at St Andrew's uni.

My first boyfriend only came up on a bus spotters forum, answering a question about his family bus company's fleet.

And of course one of them found me on ILE.

Vicky (Vicky), Thursday, 11 December 2003 11:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Every single one of my exes had common names.

I did just find out yesterday though that my last bf of 3 years is engaged to someone a bit famous, so I googled the fiancee.

Oh yeah, when I googled my own email address, a guest book comes up from a porn short stories site I was directed to from ILX!?!

Sarah McLusky (coco), Thursday, 11 December 2003 12:15 (twenty-two years ago)

bnw you dated J3n?? or don't tell me it was R3n33????

teeny (teeny), Thursday, 11 December 2003 14:37 (twenty-two years ago)

sorry of course you don't have to answer that, it's just the whole small world thing. I had my first proper conversation with my best friend at a Tsunami show where R3n33-era Bunnygrunt opened.

teeny (teeny), Thursday, 11 December 2003 14:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Almost all of my exes have ridiculously common names, so I get a bunch of geneology stuff with Sarahs or Megans from the 17th century. The only one with a slightly distinct name, no results. Bitchin'.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Thursday, 11 December 2003 14:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Most of them seem to have very common names! One of them only comes up stuff about his father, a well-known professor in Massachusetts who shows up on all sorts of Israel-Palestine pages. The British one only shows up a lot of REALLY BORING programming stuff he does! Open source codes and stuff like that. Which isn't weird per se, I mean that's what he did for a living but he was a pretty cool guy, too bad this is all that represents him. But I know he got married to a girl named Kelly and they had a baby a year or two ago. Another one is a math teacher and an image on one of the pages reveals he's still wearing his fucking Speed Racer t-shirt!!! I've seen this photo before because a friend of mine saw it and emailed it to me but it's still a stunning thing, I mean why?? It was a terrible shirt when we were 14, never mind now.

Allyzay, Thursday, 11 December 2003 14:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Woah, one of my exes has started running marathons in DC.

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 11 December 2003 14:55 (twenty-two years ago)

I really have no desire to do this at all.

NA (Nick A.), Thursday, 11 December 2003 14:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Threadkiller.

Allyzay, Thursday, 11 December 2003 15:09 (twenty-two years ago)

wow, my HS gf writes for the Indianapolis Star! That's not surprising really since she was going to IU to become a journalist anyway, but most people don't actually wind up doing what they plan on doing, at least in my experience.

Another one is finishing law school pretty soon and then Liz got out of the USAF a month before I did, assuming she didn't extend her contract, which I seriously doubt. I have no idea what she's doing now and am not interested enough to find out.

TOMBOT, Thursday, 11 December 2003 15:10 (twenty-two years ago)

ally you dated noam chomsky jr?

mark s (mark s), Thursday, 11 December 2003 15:12 (twenty-two years ago)

hahahahahah

hs bf = painting studio on the ues, will paint your portrait

college bf = living in williamsburg, eek!

Mary (Mary), Thursday, 11 December 2003 15:12 (twenty-two years ago)

my first g/f just won loads of junior-league prizes for lifesaving in australia!!

mark s (mark s), Thursday, 11 December 2003 15:14 (twenty-two years ago)

It felt like it sometimes, mark. It really did.

Oh I know one of them is doing professional theatre now in Providence. He wasn't really a boyfriend per se. I actually ran into a guy I dated recently, he was in a suit rushing down my street and we kind of ran right into each other as I was exiting my building. He was going to a business meeting which was odd because last I hung out with him he was a bartender.

Allyzay, Thursday, 11 December 2003 15:16 (twenty-two years ago)

The only trace I can find of another is that she attended the wedding of one of our high school friends along with about 10 of our other high school friends/acquaintences.

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 11 December 2003 15:17 (twenty-two years ago)

I just found out something hideous and I now wish I had listened to NA.

Allyzay, Thursday, 11 December 2003 15:28 (twenty-two years ago)

what's worse is when you start googling yr own name, but misspelt, and you find that someone you went to high school with, but didn't really know, has a poem named after you listed BUT NOT POSTED on her website.

Huckleberry Mann (Horace Mann), Thursday, 11 December 2003 15:29 (twenty-two years ago)

One of my exes became a lawyer (this I knew) and earned money by sending cease and desist letters to websites that (as far as I can tell, completely legally) parodied Barney the Dinosaur. Ick. That was the only surprise -- the freelance photographer is still a freelance photographer and the one I'm still friends with whose website I design is still rather easy to locate on the web. The rest are mostly not found, alas.

Casuistry (Chris P), Thursday, 11 December 2003 15:38 (twenty-two years ago)

Chris, did said boyfriend work for the company who made Barney? Cos I used to (or at least the company who bought the company who made Barney)...

Markelby (Mark C), Thursday, 11 December 2003 15:43 (twenty-two years ago)

No, he worked for a law firm that -- I honestly got the feeling that they were freelance doing this to impress BarneyCorp but probably not. It was just seven shades of smug too much.

Casuistry (Chris P), Thursday, 11 December 2003 15:45 (twenty-two years ago)

i just ran a bunch of names through and got back a lot of wrong people with the same names. like one's a gossip columnist in a big american city, another's a physics prof, another's a member of a basketball club at Villanove University.
Unless these ladies have gone through some major life changes since I blew out of their lives...

Huckleberry Mann (Horace Mann), Thursday, 11 December 2003 15:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Well, all my ex's seem to be on Friendster.

Aaron W (Aaron W), Thursday, 11 December 2003 15:53 (twenty-two years ago)

hmmm apparently she wrote for something called 'Lumpen' in Chicago and is the author of two books.

lawrence kansas (lawrence kansas), Thursday, 11 December 2003 15:54 (twenty-two years ago)

I tried to google a couple of old flames, but only came up with sports results pages, where the first and last name appear separately. My latest girlfriend has a terribly common name, but I still keep in touch with her, so no need for googling.

By the way, Ally, what did you find out?

Tuomas (Tuomas), Thursday, 11 December 2003 16:05 (twenty-two years ago)

Dude, if she wanted to tell us, she would have!

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 11 December 2003 16:08 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't believe that's a very good question at all.

xpost

TOMBOT, Thursday, 11 December 2003 16:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Haha the top results for two of my ex-boyfriends are from my own site - proving how incestuous the circle of contributors once was I suppose. One of them also turns up as a poet in a few other places.

Googling another one I'm still in touch with brings up lots of geeky postings to coding newsgroups or something as expected. Equally excitingly, an old uni BF has been a speaker at conferences on signal processing... Most recent ex is invisible at the moment, having had his journalism days pre-interweb I guess. Googling my first ever BF suggests he might be a press/comms person for Cancer Research UK which sounds likely.

Archel (Archel), Thursday, 11 December 2003 16:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Lumpen is a free quarterly magazine put out by a bunch of lefty artists who derive inspiration from shit like Adbusters: like, haha, let's get a picture of Dubya and blacken out his eyes to show how he's soulless!

jaymc (jaymc), Thursday, 11 December 2003 16:29 (twenty-two years ago)

There's only two exes of mine who I'm completely out of contact with (the rest are on Friendster, ha). The first (my high-school gf) has a photo from her college graduation at the college website. The second appears to work for some nonprofit that provides affordable housing; she also has an Amazon list that consists of Sarah Masen, Mark Olson, Wilco, Stereolab, Pixies, Paul Westerberg, and the Flaming Lips.

jaymc (jaymc), Thursday, 11 December 2003 16:34 (twenty-two years ago)

I've never done this, but Jill does it all the time. The last person I went out w/ before getting together w/Jill, I went out w/ for several months, BUT I NEVER ACTUALLY FOUND OUT WHAT HER SURNAME WAS!!! So, googling for lynne probably won't be much good, I ph34r.

Pashmina (Pashmina), Thursday, 11 December 2003 16:37 (twenty-two years ago)

Haha was she on Big Brother?

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 11 December 2003 16:38 (twenty-two years ago)

hs gf - found a bunch of bad poetry from a long time ago and her senior thesis, "Ideology and metapragmatics: speech as trope and representation in two texts by Turgenev"

another one is just a bunch of Vassar links.

another one shows up in a list of projects for a cybermedia class we took together.

the others have really common names, or i can't remember their last name.

Dale the Titled (cprek), Thursday, 11 December 2003 16:38 (twenty-two years ago)

I really really hope old girlfriends try and google me, because I share a name with someone who was a wrestler in high school.

NA (Nick A.), Thursday, 11 December 2003 16:52 (twenty-two years ago)

I hope none of them google me cos the first thing that shows up is that I voted in the pazz & jop! I don't want anyone thinking I went rock journo for fuck's sake.

I found out that she lived in Oakland as of 2 years ago and got married and moved to Europe! Haha.

gygax! (gygax!), Thursday, 11 December 2003 18:56 (twenty-two years ago)

One of my exes goes to Savannah Art Institute.

(nickalicious), Thursday, 11 December 2003 19:00 (twenty-two years ago)

My first serious ex is now living in Walnut Creek, having married an older man (with at least one adolescent child). How did I learn all this? Amazon.com wishlist!

My most serious ex (who I actually still talk to), is a human rights activist who went to Colombia to be a human shield for activists under threat of death. It put a strain on our relationship. She's on some pages at http://www.peacebrigades.org (actually an extremely worthy organization - even though they stole my girlfriend!).

Another ex is an up and coming painter in L.A. She's actually selling work now at some good galleries. Her work is on some of their pages.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Thursday, 11 December 2003 19:03 (twenty-two years ago)

My first hs bf worked for Rolling Stone for a bit, has his PhD in science and is now attending med school at an Ivy League university it seems. He also does triathlons. That's not even all of it.

He used to tease me about what a geek I was.

JuliaA (j_bdules), Thursday, 11 December 2003 19:32 (twenty-two years ago)

Jeez. The boy who was my first true love is now a screenwriter and actor, which is a bit of a shocker since he was a drop-out engineering student with little sense of direction when I knew him. He did have an overactive imagination though.

Any of my exes googling me will just find a load of guff on S*n*st*r.

ailsa (ailsa), Monday, 15 December 2003 10:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Huckleberry Mann (Horace Mann), Tuesday, 16 December 2003 17:06 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah, basically all of my exes wrote for their college newspapers and then wrote for online sites afterwards.

Sarah McLusky (coco), Tuesday, 16 December 2003 17:07 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm your *type*, nominally, at least.

Huckleberry Mann (Horace Mann), Tuesday, 16 December 2003 17:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Chuck Tatum (Chuck Tatum), Tuesday, 16 December 2003 17:24 (twenty-two years ago)

None of mine have come up, which means none of them have done anything interesting with their lives.

Chris B. Sure (Chris V), Tuesday, 16 December 2003 17:24 (twenty-two years ago)

oh yes and the girl I was obsessively lovesick over all through high school went on do more modeling, did some acting in unseen films, did some halloween theater thing in SF which involved uncharacteristically racy stuff, then became a real estate agent. But I'm still in touch with her so it's not really big news. She is still HAWWWWTTT though.

anthony kyle monday (akmonday), Tuesday, 16 December 2003 17:30 (twenty-two years ago)

my first one i get some usenet stuff from a deep ecology list and a midwest rave list

one works for the city of duluth doing environmental stuff

two are local actresses, there are some stills & posters out there. one i'm great friends with, the other i've lost track of and apparently is playing a nun in some local tv thing.

(i'm sooo tempted to post the pics, seems wrong somehow) (i probably would if i'd put a pic of ME up on here yet)

Eighteen year old Lucy Flintoff of Burghfield Common is the West Berkshire Junior Citizen of the Year 2003.

Lucy was nominated by the Fun-Fair Summer Playscheme for children with learning difficulties.

Gill Cleaver, Co-ordinator at Fun-Fair, explains why they nominated Lucy.

She said, "For the past three years Lucy has volunteered to help at Fun-Fair. Each year she has chosen to work one to one with a boy with severe autism and challenging behaviour. She has shown a very caring and understanding attitude and worked hard to forge a relationship with the child, helping him to take part in activities and to have fun. This year, she spoke at our training day for prospective new volunteers. She spoke honestly and was a great inspiration. Revive!! I found out that the married one has another baby on the way, and that one of them switched careers, went into PR and volunteers as a "youth councilor" at some Catholic retreat, which is really fucking creepy to me! Also, not an ex-bf but I'm becoming increasingly convinced that I once stabbed the dude who writes ebaumsworld.com in the head with a pencil in Spanish class.

I just tried clicking on my ex-boyfriend's homepage and it crashed my computer. I think that probably says something.

I found an exboyfriend's blog yesterday. We went out in high school REALLY briefly, but I was convinced at the time that he was the one. When we broke up, I thought I'd lost my chance to ever be happy and might as well start pulling my hair back and collecting cats for my old lady house. Um, just check it out.

Sarah McLusky (coco), Friday, 22 July 2005 12:38 (twenty years ago)

This thread inspired me to google my ex-girlfriend, just now.

Not especially exciting or unexpected.

Jordan (Jordan), Friday, 22 July 2005 12:44 (twenty years ago)

Sorry Sarah, but your ex-boyfriend seems to be engaged in honorable and admirable endeavors.

Jordan (Jordan), Friday, 22 July 2005 12:46 (twenty years ago)

She's a little young for you, Jordan. ;)

jocelyn (Jocelyn), Friday, 22 July 2005 12:48 (twenty years ago)

But very precocious!

Jordan (Jordan), Friday, 22 July 2005 12:49 (twenty years ago)

One of my ex's Listmania! on Amazon always seems to show up when I'm on there. He really really likes cyberpunk. A lot. I also found his current girlfriend's (who I also knew in college) blog somehow.

jocelyn (Jocelyn), Friday, 22 July 2005 12:53 (twenty years ago)

To the best of my (and google's) knowledge, my exes are now: an English Lit/Arabic grad student, a boat builder, a policeman, a med student, a drug dealer, an insurance salesman, and a carpenter.

It's incredibly funny how some things turn out.

I'm imagining all sorts of Seinfeld-esque connecting plots between these people.

Jordan (Jordan), Friday, 22 July 2005 16:22 (twenty years ago)

Wow, my ex goes to Bard and teaches dancing classes and is a hippie? I never pegged her as a Bard student.

Allyzay Rofflesbot (allyzay), Thursday, 20 April 2006 15:54 (twenty years ago)

Turns outone of mine DID change her name to Mother Shabooboo, or something eerily similar.

Colin Meeder (Mert), Thursday, 20 April 2006 20:53 (twenty years ago)

The only reason I'd google an ex is so I could track 'em down and somehow fuck the bastard up dangnabbit!

dr lulu (dr lulu), Thursday, 20 April 2006 22:23 (twenty years ago)

The only ex I'm interested in checking up on hasn't been mentioned online since I went out with her in 1997. Drat.

This cunted circus never ends... (papa november), Thursday, 20 April 2006 22:54 (twenty years ago)

I wonder what it's going to be like for any ex's that choose to Google me right now...

Mickey (modestmickey), Tuesday, 25 April 2006 14:52 (twenty years ago)

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 25 April 2006 14:57 (twenty years ago)

For my first girlfriend ever nothing comes up at all.

One of my first big crushes has an artist site now where there's actually a picture of her naked, albeit in full body paint and not in a very flattering pose.

The girl I dated before my fiance works for some peace organization now, but the most interesting thing is that there's a woman with the same name as her who's a dean at some college and looks exactly like what I'd expect my ex look like as an adult.

Abbadavid Berman (Hurting), Tuesday, 25 April 2006 15:05 (twenty years ago)

that Xanax link turned out to be an ex of mine who is totally hooked up with the quality big-pharma reps

Thomas Tallis (Tommy), Tuesday, 25 April 2006 15:06 (twenty years ago)

RJG, yeah, mostly that.

Mickey (modestmickey), Tuesday, 25 April 2006 15:10 (twenty years ago)

A couple popular hits on me are ILX threads that don't mention anything about me except for sanskrit's giant ASCII with my name, haha. All the journalists trying to track me down (who eventually did) googling for me must be ?????WTF????ing at that.

Mickey (modestmickey), Tuesday, 25 April 2006 15:18 (twenty years ago)

Yes yes, yr very important, we know.

Allyzay Rofflesbot (allyzay), Tuesday, 25 April 2006 15:27 (twenty years ago)

andy --, Tuesday, 25 April 2006 21:16 (twenty years ago)

When this thread was started, I tried to look for my first "girlfriend" (if two weeks of dating is enough to call someone that), but found nothing. I googled her again now, and apparently she has won 15000 euros in the Finnish version of "Do You Want to Be a Millionaire". Maybe I should try to get in touch with her again... ;)

Tuomas (Tuomas), Wednesday, 26 April 2006 11:14 (twenty years ago)

I am delighted to no end picturing what the finnish version of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" must be like!
