I'm going to make candied lime peel -- and obviously a shitload of hard and soft drinks, but the main thing with the limes is candied peel. I love my candied grapefruit peel and want to try it out on lime.

i did laundry and made food for a party i'm hosting tomorrow. that way i can concentrate on a quick spot of last-minute housecleaning right before people show up.

The rule is to pass over recipes that require one to manipulate each and every unit. Tonight's case: meatballs. With the exact same ingredients, I cold have made a tasty ragu/bolognese with 1/24 the hassle. See also: Sandra Lee cookie recipes, which has you use canned cookie dough, then have to handle each fucking cookie multiple times for various types of pre-made icing and decorations and shit.

I'm experienced enough as a cook that I should know better than this. I *do* know better than this, which is why I have a rule. Which I failed to follow. GAH.

i had pizza for lunch at this awful COLLEGE CAMPUS place that's been around forever, major dude zone, the guy at the counter calls everyone "sir," should be called Patriarchy Bistro. the slices were basically very cheesy loaves of bread.

I wish I had pizza. I needed a snack just now and all I had was wholemeal pitta bread. I put peanut butter and lime pickle in it (ty based nood)
