Actually, that pic is pretty strange, because I've never had a hair like that (I did once have a long hair, but it was never blonde), and I don't know how to play the guitar. The hair looks like it was photoshopped to my head, but I really can't remember the story behind the pic. I found it from the web archives of a mag to which I used to contribute years ago.

but given that you know the size and you're scripting the img tag there's nothing to stop you from adding height and width tags to rescale the picture to a decent size (whilst maintaining aspect ratio).

that said, one of my pet hates is people who send me digital pictures of themselves in full 5 megapixel glory... 2M of download and i can only get half their face on the screen at once.

That's a scarf given to Rach the singer by a friend. It was given in turn to him by a Tibetan monk who said it was a lucky scarf. She tied it to her stand for luck.

Me, with dalek, at the unofficial 'celebration' of the new series of Who at Wookey Hole last weekend. (For unofficial, read Colin Baker, Terry Molloy, Nicholas Courtney, Wendy Padbury, Sophie Aldred, Anneke Wills and some of the Big Finish people.) It was really dark so it's been lightened and defuzzed, but you can still make it out - camera phones don't have flashes, and taking flash photos in mirror mazes (where the daleks were) is a bit of a mistake anyway.
