I'm not a football fan, but when I think of Wayne Rooney I always remember the plan to make a five-volume autobiography of Wayne Rooney, because ghostwritten football autobiographies were so hot back in 2006:

It seems that one volume came out later the same year, My Story So Far, but four years on the whole thing was scrapped because England did poorly in a bunch of international tournaments.
