We're back, as tom has mentioned once or twice. We're still at the chapel bar, it'll still be 7 til late, and to the best of my knowledge the cocktail happy (three) hour(s) live on.

also we are TAKING REQUESTS via clubftrequests@gmail.com which will cost a measley british pound each (will all monies going to the FT Grecian Earn campaign).

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Monday, 19 July 2004 09:58 (twenty-one years ago)

oh, we've got one booked in for thursday 26th august as well (forward planning, wow!)

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Monday, 19 July 2004 10:07 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh bugger, that's clashing with a thing I'm playing records at as well. Mind you, maybe the hardcore among y'all can do both, since Baboon's open til all hours...

CharlieNo4 (Charlie), Monday, 19 July 2004 10:15 (twenty-one years ago)

will the FT Indie Amnesty bank be open for deposits?

zebedee (zebedee), Monday, 19 July 2004 11:24 (twenty-one years ago)

very much so, yes.

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Monday, 19 July 2004 11:56 (twenty-one years ago)

i'll come. woo! does that mean next week the only two things i have in my diary are ilx things? yes it does.

colette (a2lette), Monday, 19 July 2004 12:06 (twenty-one years ago)

welcome to my world ;)

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Monday, 19 July 2004 12:18 (twenty-one years ago)

BUMP!

This is THIS THURSDAY! We'd love to see you all.

http://www.freakytrigger.co.uk/pictures/ft_club_july_big.jpg

That is the URL for the flyer - don't know how picture posting works in this strange new ILX world.

Tico Tico (Tico Tico), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 06:17 (twenty-one years ago)

Am I the only person to have made a Grecian Earn request?

Also, rumour has it that there is a late license on Thursday. Oh Jaysus the fear...

Matt DC (Matt DC), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 07:39 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm coming! Friday's my day off. Raa. And I'll make a request. I want Mamma Used To Say, by Junior, because it's been recently evocative of both pain and pleasure for me. And it's got the giantest bassline of 1982.

Who do I give my pound to? Oh yeah, it says up there. Right, I'll do that then...

JimD (JimD), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 13:44 (twenty-one years ago)

late licence on thursday? i think i may have to work from home on friday...

colette (a2lette), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 13:46 (twenty-one years ago)

i am wishing that late licence would mean also extended happy hour but somehow i doubt it :)

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 13:47 (twenty-one years ago)

late license + expensive Chapel prices = hrmrmrmrmmm

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 13:48 (twenty-one years ago)

you could always defect to the dark side and come here instead, Steve...

*evil cackle*

CharlieNo4 (Charlie), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 14:17 (twenty-one years ago)

A friend of mine is DJing not a million miles away from Club FT from 11.30-2.00... I'm giving serious consideration to taking Friday mornign off work.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 14:20 (twenty-one years ago)

away from Club FT from 11.30-2.00

seriously, don't let me go with you. nothing good could come out of that.

well, at least it's a thursday rather than a wednesday!

colette (a2lette), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 14:22 (twenty-one years ago)

Oi will be present at this!

(THE DAY BEFORE GUNTING PAYDAY!! YOU GETS!!)

Sarah (starry), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 14:26 (twenty-one years ago)

Yours.

William Bloody Swygart (mrswygart), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 14:40 (twenty-one years ago)

we are now on five requests for thursday. remember you can request on the night, but we might not have it with us...

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:07 (twenty-one years ago)

Steve, do you want me to bring my excellent request?

Mikey G (Mikey G), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:09 (twenty-one years ago)

oh jesus. can we know what time it will be so I can arrange to be in thetoilet while G spins around twirling flour in all directions ;o)

I'll put a pound in for perfume, obv

Porkpie (porkpie), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:10 (twenty-one years ago)

I will pay a fiver to the Grecian Earn fund if Chris plays The Darkness and Radiohead back to back during his set.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:15 (twenty-one years ago)

twenty quid and I will

Porkpie (porkpie), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:16 (twenty-one years ago)

who says he's having a set ;)

G, yes please :)

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:17 (twenty-one years ago)

except I don't think it's my turn, ah well, never mind

Porkpie (porkpie), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:17 (twenty-one years ago)

Actually I'm djing for the first four hours. Everything from Ghost Dance to Rose of Avalanche. Two for one snakebite deals.

Mikey G (Mikey G), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:18 (twenty-one years ago)

Come on foax, let's remember the important things here.

French 75 (starry), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:28 (twenty-one years ago)

football and sex?

Mikey G (Mikey G), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:29 (twenty-one years ago)

pint pot karaoke?

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:32 (twenty-one years ago)

i think staryy was referring to her favourtie cocktail (although i'm sure her inner goth would go for a bit of snakebite ;))

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:36 (twenty-one years ago)

What time do you want us, Carsmile (bearing in mind I probably won't be able to get there until 8 or so)?

Markelby (Mark C), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:43 (twenty-one years ago)

8 or so would be good :)

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Wednesday, 28 July 2004 10:47 (twenty-one years ago)

Ooh that reminds me, I must sort out some Indie Amnesty gubbins to donate to the good cause.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Wednesday, 28 July 2004 10:49 (twenty-one years ago)

oh yes, please do. all contributions gratefully received :)

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Wednesday, 28 July 2004 10:50 (twenty-one years ago)

even the Milltown Brothers?

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Wednesday, 28 July 2004 11:20 (twenty-one years ago)

midway still?

Porkpie (porkpie), Wednesday, 28 July 2004 11:26 (twenty-one years ago)

Thousand Yard Stare?

Mikey G (Mikey G), Wednesday, 28 July 2004 12:03 (twenty-one years ago)

isn't it though, jumpers for record labels, enduring image etc...

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Wednesday, 28 July 2004 13:24 (twenty-one years ago)

jumpers where?

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Wednesday, 28 July 2004 13:29 (twenty-one years ago)

You leave the Sultans out of this. Silverfish you can have, however.

Sadly I can't make this obv, but will be sure to, uh, play lots of shitty old indie records (I actually own Midway Still's "Better Than Before" on 12" so perhaps that'll get a look-in) instead.

CharlieNo4 (Charlie), Wednesday, 28 July 2004 15:52 (twenty-one years ago)

There's an extra £1 in it for the Grecians if anyone plays Pies by Wiley tonight.

Who's DJing this evening anyway? Is it the Mark-Sarah tagteam?

Matt DC (Matt DC), Thursday, 29 July 2004 07:32 (twenty-one years ago)

yes

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Thursday, 29 July 2004 08:30 (twenty-one years ago)

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 29 July 2004 08:42 (twenty-one years ago)

can't you just go in a cup and throw it on me? ah prison days...

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Thursday, 29 July 2004 08:47 (twenty-one years ago)

this is a lot worse than the Noize board when you think about it...

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Thursday, 29 July 2004 08:48 (twenty-one years ago)

Dude. I am now wavering about going because my stomach really actually hurts (LADIES YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN) and that little interchange has put me off even more!

All you need to do to get me to change my mind is to remind me about French 75s, I admit.

Sarah (starry), Thursday, 29 July 2004 10:07 (twenty-one years ago)

Gin will lull yr cramping agonies Starry luv. Also I am contributing a Soup Dragons CD to the indie amnesty, come laugh heartily at me.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Thursday, 29 July 2004 10:08 (twenty-one years ago)

ARGH I completely FORGOT about the Indie Amnesty, what a f#cking dolt I am!

Sarah (starry), Thursday, 29 July 2004 10:10 (twenty-one years ago)

yeah, i thought gin was the drink of choice to deal with cramps...

colette (a2lette), Thursday, 29 July 2004 10:10 (twenty-one years ago)

Less cramps more STOMACH DRAGON, but yes, GIN, you're right! Also I haf taken ASPRIN now so feel better - rah rah rah, lets smash some oiks.

Sarah (starry), Thursday, 29 July 2004 10:20 (twenty-one years ago)

Stop talking about ladies bits, I am trying to eat.

Mikey G (Mikey G), Thursday, 29 July 2004 10:39 (twenty-one years ago)

my ex used to drink teh Ocean Spray, so maybe a Sea Breeze is on order?

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Thursday, 29 July 2004 10:41 (twenty-one years ago)

Actually mention of the Soup Dragons put me off my Subway Veggie Max (foot long, natch).

Mikey G (Mikey G), Thursday, 29 July 2004 10:42 (twenty-one years ago)

i'll have to put a sign over the Chapel Bar door saying HERE BE SOUPY STOMACH DRAGONS at this rate

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Thursday, 29 July 2004 10:43 (twenty-one years ago)

Cranberry juice is more for errrr, how can I put this nicely oh I can't, bladder infections than stomach dragons. But it's nice anyway so here's to a nice cocktail and a healthy urinary tract!

Liz :x (Liz :x), Thursday, 29 July 2004 10:44 (twenty-one years ago)

I am coming tonight, still off work woo!

Archel (Archel), Thursday, 29 July 2004 10:59 (twenty-one years ago)

Woah! Really? Does that mean you're in London, Archie?

(p.s. can someone remind me which bus I take from Soho to Islington? Ta!)

Markelby (Mark C), Thursday, 29 July 2004 11:03 (twenty-one years ago)

mark, take the 38 or 19 from charing cross road or shaftesbury ave, or the 73 from oxford street or tcr.

yay archel!

colette (a2lette), Thursday, 29 July 2004 11:05 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm not in London yet, just enjoying sunny Brighton and will come up about 7.30... see you there!

what what what (what?), Thursday, 29 July 2004 11:11 (twenty-one years ago)

Oops I am logged in as Matt. Well, I am Archel.

what what what (what?), Thursday, 29 July 2004 11:12 (twenty-one years ago)

Cranberry juice is actually very bad for urinary tract infections because it contains so much sugar (they are sour little blighters) and that makes the infection worse. Much better to get yourself to Holland & Barrett for some capsules.

Dr Madchen (Madchen), Thursday, 29 July 2004 11:14 (twenty-one years ago)

Stop talking about ladies bits I am trying to eat.
-- Mikey G (...), July 29th, 2004 11:39 AM. (later)

haha

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 29 July 2004 11:17 (twenty-one years ago)

Look on the bright side, at least you're not pregnant. Unless you're trying to get pregnant, of course. In which case, keep going, the fun's in the trying.

x-postie

Mikey G (Mikey G), Thursday, 29 July 2004 11:32 (twenty-one years ago)

I like the Millton Brothers.

Does anyone want to go to see Gillian Welch tonight?

I can make the dream happen.

the pinefox, Thursday, 29 July 2004 12:05 (twenty-one years ago)

Milltown.

How late is the club, going on, until?

the clubfox, Thursday, 29 July 2004 12:13 (twenty-one years ago)

according to toptable.co.uk, it's open until 12 on thursdays...

colette (a2lette), Thursday, 29 July 2004 12:34 (twenty-one years ago)

do you think they will be busier tonight because of the late license? should i phone and check? maybe Molo.co a few doors down has an even later license?

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Thursday, 29 July 2004 12:50 (twenty-one years ago)

and my house has a really late licence! (but no bouze)

last time, we ended up in the elbo room, which was open later than we could stay...

colette (a2lette), Thursday, 29 July 2004 12:56 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm going indie dancing in Shoreditch after Club FT. Ruin beckons.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Thursday, 29 July 2004 12:58 (twenty-one years ago)

aw bless, there was MUCH FUN this evening, well done all.

ALSO this was possibly the first FT event/FAP/gathering of any type that was GENDER BALANCED, well done tom and collette for bringing gurls :)

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Thursday, 29 July 2004 21:16 (twenty-one years ago)

pics and stories plz

roxymuzak (roxymuzak), Friday, 30 July 2004 02:48 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm going indie dancing in Shoreditch after Club FT. Ruin beckons.

Really? You didn't show up at (The Old Blue) Last Orders did you?

CharlieNo4 (Charlie), Friday, 30 July 2004 07:31 (twenty-one years ago)

I didn't go. I'm lame. No, literally. OK, band practice was cancelled and everything, and I should have gone, but I went to the doctor and I've got lumps on my ankles that need to come off, and no dancing until they're off. :-(

Super-Masonic Black Hole (kate), Friday, 30 July 2004 07:34 (twenty-one years ago)

that was really really good, and only a big cooked breakfast is managing to take the edge off the aftermath

Porkpie (porkpie), Friday, 30 July 2004 07:36 (twenty-one years ago)

It was great. I demand that Ken posts a selection of the Zoolander stylee Magnum pictures he took of people.

Arrgh I had minor lager calf cramps this morning though. Bloody Stella.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Friday, 30 July 2004 07:41 (twenty-one years ago)

I really liked the toilets

Mikey G (Mikey G), Friday, 30 July 2004 07:44 (twenty-one years ago)

Several pints after 2 days of being ill and not eating = pain.

Yes, those toilets with the glass pee-wall are interesting. Oh god Ken will have quite the selection of photos. BLUE STEEL!

I remember the Milltown Brothers. They had a song I liked.

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Friday, 30 July 2004 08:08 (twenty-one years ago)

thank you uncle carslime and co. for me favourite Club FT of recent times - very very good good indeed (indeed)

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Friday, 30 July 2004 08:09 (twenty-one years ago)

You boys have a glass pee-wall? Damn. The girls' lavabos are just vaguely gothick.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Friday, 30 July 2004 08:13 (twenty-one years ago)

And the pee-wall has a glass shoe-barrier to protect from splashing. Although it isn't that effective.

Thanks to Mark C for Ride's 'Chelsea Girl'. Made my night. What was up with those CD players though? I kept thinking you fellas were using crap needles covered in fluff or something.

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Friday, 30 July 2004 08:17 (twenty-one years ago)

Chelsea Girl? Aw man...

Super-Masonic Black Hole (kate), Friday, 30 July 2004 08:17 (twenty-one years ago)

I am definitely listening to early Ride singles when I get home today...

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Friday, 30 July 2004 08:52 (twenty-one years ago)

hahaha omg i looked at the pictures this morning and they were GOOD - i'm at work though so pics will have to wait til tonight (after VIDEOGAMING).

what a fun night - and did i witness grinding?

ken c (ken c), Friday, 30 July 2004 08:53 (twenty-one years ago)

Heh, sorry I was laughing too much to do a Magnum face! I did practice when I got home though so NEXT TIME!

Sorry for being in a bit of a grump towards the end.

Sarah (starry), Friday, 30 July 2004 09:21 (twenty-one years ago)

i did a magnum face, but i still have not seen Zoolander

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Friday, 30 July 2004 09:49 (twenty-one years ago)

oh my god, that was so much fun! i'm putting my pictures up right now, will post a link when they're ready...

oh jeez, i was hugging everyone. it was one of those nights where i just loved everyone!

my favorite part of the night (which i forgot until it came on my pod on the way to work) was when i was walking back to the bar from the dancefloor, and toxic came on, and i turned back around to see loads of people gesturing to me, because they all knew i couldn't resist coming back for it. awww.

and one of the people i brought (connie), was so impressed with the music that she was talking about how she could get the FT DJs to play her birthday party! well done to all the DJs, especially the mark/sarah tag team and tom, who always does a fantastic time.

colette (a2lette), Friday, 30 July 2004 09:58 (twenty-one years ago)

I liked the gun machine too. Positioned adjacent to the DJ pulpit for handy mock assassinations.

Mikey G (Mikey G), Friday, 30 July 2004 10:03 (twenty-one years ago)

http://www.dotphoto.com/Go.asp?l=a2lette&P=&AID=1682089&GID=690311&T=1

so many great photos! i think my two faves are 1227 and 1251...

colette (a2lette), Friday, 30 July 2004 11:00 (twenty-one years ago)

1215 and 1216 are such lovely group shots. Awww.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Friday, 30 July 2004 11:12 (twenty-one years ago)

hahaha oh my. I danced so much that this morning I noticed shoe nail marks on the bottom of my heels. Marks of fun!

sgs (sgs), Friday, 30 July 2004 11:13 (twenty-one years ago)

Damn! RickyT was there! Ricardo! I have Mark S's Satan book for you! I found it when I moved, it's sitting on my CD pile, ready to go!

Super-Masonic Black Hole (kate), Friday, 30 July 2004 11:15 (twenty-one years ago)

Hurrah! Will you be along on Saturday at all? Or are you doing band stuff all day?

Ricardo (RickyT), Friday, 30 July 2004 11:17 (twenty-one years ago)

If someone will tell me the name of the pub where youse will all end up, then I will try to make it down *after* band stuff to give you the book. I mean, we're starting at about noon. I will put my foot down, because I cannot physically record for more than eight hours straight.

Super-Masonic Black Hole (kate), Friday, 30 July 2004 11:18 (twenty-one years ago)

I have no memory of standing at that end of the bar (in the one with everyone lined up on stools.

This much I know:

The barman was David James younger, smaller brother

I talked shite to Gareth about Lancashire and Yorkshire. I think I said the difference was Irish immigration. Jesus. I am sorry.

I took lots of crapola picture for Colette with her camera. I am
sorry.

I talked shite to other people. I am sorry.

I kept using the phrase 'real people'. I must not do this.

Dave B (daveb), Friday, 30 July 2004 11:19 (twenty-one years ago)

Errr... picture 1248, what is Gareth DRINKING?!?!? It's *glowing*!

Super-Masonic Black Hole (kate), Friday, 30 July 2004 11:20 (twenty-one years ago)

Hmm, from 1251 it almost looks like I'm losing my hair...

Great pics Colette. 1215 totally rocks!

Glad people enjoyed Chelsea Girl, even if it was the one cast-iron dancefloor-clearer (though the look on Tom's face as "Fuck the Pain Away" came on while he was schmoozing his colleagues was a picture). Can I put my name forward for another slot in 6 months time?

Markelby (Mark C), Friday, 30 July 2004 11:20 (twenty-one years ago)

Me too?

sgs (sgs), Friday, 30 July 2004 11:20 (twenty-one years ago)

(and I'll promise not to try a Titties Medley.)

sgs (sgs), Friday, 30 July 2004 11:22 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh dear god. 1230. I've known tom for 10 years. And never, ever, have I grabbed his crotch before. History in the making!

JimD (JimD), Friday, 30 July 2004 11:22 (twenty-one years ago)

ah, i was trying to remember who i'd given my camera to, dave! i knew jim had it for a while, and probably my tom as well, but knew there was someone else as well...i think you did a nice job!

(xpost-- Oh dear god. 1230. I've known tom for 10 years. And never, ever, have I grabbed his crotch before. History in the making!

yeah, i didn't take that one, connie must have?! she told me about it, but i didn't believe her. i was giggling so much when i went through them this morning...

colette (a2lette), Friday, 30 July 2004 11:24 (twenty-one years ago)

IMGP1230 alone makes me wish I'd been there. What on earth are they doing?

haha xpost

CharlieNo4 (Charlie), Friday, 30 July 2004 11:27 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh God! The look of satisfaction on my face. I should be terrified. Or hitting him.

ledge (ledge), Friday, 30 July 2004 11:51 (twenty-one years ago)

HAHA 1237 shows me talking out of the side of my mouth to stevem like some bad comedy routine

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Friday, 30 July 2004 11:53 (twenty-one years ago)

"like"

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Friday, 30 July 2004 11:53 (twenty-one years ago)

connie has some hot moves in those pics!

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Friday, 30 July 2004 11:55 (twenty-one years ago)

still shots of people dancing are always TEH FUNNY

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Friday, 30 July 2004 11:58 (twenty-one years ago)

1244 looks like I was intentionally recording colette's barefoot dancing, but I wasn't, the camera just went off in my hand...

JimD (JimD), Friday, 30 July 2004 12:26 (twenty-one years ago)

What happened to 1245? I seem to remember it being an enormous close-up of steve's hand. Again, unintentional.

JimD (JimD), Friday, 30 July 2004 12:29 (twenty-one years ago)

"sorry officer, i was just cleaning it and it went off."

CharlieNo4 (Charlie), Friday, 30 July 2004 12:39 (twenty-one years ago)

What happened to 1245?

i deleted a few that were blurry/extreme closeups/contain pictures of tim...

colette (a2lette), Friday, 30 July 2004 12:44 (twenty-one years ago)

Poor Tim.

MarkH (MarkH), Friday, 30 July 2004 12:47 (twenty-one years ago)

Poor Tim

no, it's me being nice to him! he really doesn't like being in photos, so i tried to take pictures while avoiding him, although i do have a great group shot that he's in, but didn't post it...

colette (a2lette), Friday, 30 July 2004 12:52 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh, Sarah, I found your CD and have it so shall give it to you ... when. Tomorrow?

Pete (Pete), Friday, 30 July 2004 13:39 (twenty-one years ago)

Tomorrow is possible.

sgs (sgs), Friday, 30 July 2004 13:45 (twenty-one years ago)

Are you going to Trig Brother, Sarah?

Markelby (Mark C), Friday, 30 July 2004 13:46 (twenty-one years ago)

There should be a joining of the ways between TB and Robster's birthday thing tmro at some point (i.e. in the Champion) if that helps.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Friday, 30 July 2004 13:48 (twenty-one years ago)

1232 looks as if jim was being bum rushed by colette!

ken c (ken c), Friday, 30 July 2004 13:49 (twenty-one years ago)

Okay, that helps, yes :)

sgs (sgs), Friday, 30 July 2004 13:51 (twenty-one years ago)

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH SHIT!

I JUST REALISED THAT I SET UP A TAB ON MY CREDIT CARD AT THE BAR LAST NIGHT. AND I FORGOT TO SETTLE IT BEFORE I LEAVE.

FUCK THEY STILL HAVE MY CARD.

HAHAHAHA.

ken c (ken c), Friday, 30 July 2004 13:52 (twenty-one years ago)

if anyone is thirsty for a drink go to chapel bar now and have a drink on me on tab no.2 before i get my card back after work.

ken c (ken c), Friday, 30 July 2004 13:53 (twenty-one years ago)

tempting as that is, I have my work party here in Oxford tonite.

MarkH (MarkH), Friday, 30 July 2004 13:54 (twenty-one years ago)

Don't tempt me...

(Actually no. I thought they were kidding about the vomitty feeling and the lack of appetite on this drug, but I've just had to refuse a chocolate...)

Super-Masonic Black Hole (kate), Friday, 30 July 2004 13:54 (twenty-one years ago)

William Bloody Swygart (mrswygart), Friday, 30 July 2004 14:01 (twenty-one years ago)

or possibly:

ROB (to stevem, quietly): Blimey! Check the moves on this fella to my right!

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Friday, 30 July 2004 14:13 (twenty-one years ago)

Just how one says something 'quietly' with exclamation marks is not exactly clear. This is why I do not write screenplays.

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Friday, 30 July 2004 14:17 (twenty-one years ago)

you can be whispering with exclamation!!!!

ken (whispers to stevem) Hhahahah omg! rob doesn't know that one can exclaim during a whisper!! what a dork!!

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Friday, 30 July 2004 14:59 (twenty-one years ago)

Ha, another large set of photos by Colette of an event at which I am hanging around for hours, and again I am completely absent! I can only come to one conclusion: Colette fears that I will break her camera.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Friday, 30 July 2004 16:11 (twenty-one years ago)

I think Colette fears Ken's Limp Bizkit shirt. Haw!!

roxymuzak (roxymuzak), Friday, 30 July 2004 16:43 (twenty-one years ago)

ken c (ken c), Friday, 30 July 2004 23:38 (twenty-one years ago)

haha, for those who didn't attend, people at freaky trigger were put (by me obv) to the MAGNUM CHALLENGE. in which they had to have a picture of themselves taken doing the "magnum" look of Derek Zoolander (from the film Zoolander).

and bliss was the result.

or aw bless, was the result.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Monday, 2 August 2004 12:11 (twenty-one years ago)

i hate cameras, about as much as they clearly hate me.

Jaunty Alan (Alan), Monday, 2 August 2004 12:27 (twenty-one years ago)

Ken's captions are hilarious and I have wet myself.

alix (alix), Monday, 2 August 2004 12:47 (twenty-one years ago)

He is the captioning king. I love that he titled his OWN PICTURE "phwoooar"!

roxymuzak (roxymuzak), Monday, 2 August 2004 12:54 (twenty-one years ago)

I fear that the combination of heat and Stella may have turned me into a twat - I'm sure I did or said at least one mortifying thing, and I was only there until 11 :(

However, I will choose to believe that I had an excellent time until proven otherwise. (Great photos btw Collette and Ken!)

Archel (Archel), Tuesday, 3 August 2004 09:35 (twenty-one years ago)

you were on great form, archel, and from what i can remember, it was really fun to dance with you!

colette (a2lette), Tuesday, 3 August 2004 09:44 (twenty-one years ago)

Well so far looking at the photos has brought back only fun memories rather than embarassing ones, so that's good I guess. It was good to see you all, I know that much :) You were queen of the dance floor C!
