WICKED

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Friday, 23 July 2004 15:28 (twenty-one years ago)

OMG I'M INNER THAN MY INNER SELF!!

ken c (ken c), Monday, 26 July 2004 08:40 (twenty-one years ago)

Dracula me in.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Monday, 26 July 2004 08:41 (twenty-one years ago)

et moi, et moi, et moi.

alix (alix), Monday, 26 July 2004 08:44 (twenty-one years ago)

i could come to the first bit, but then it's some sort of birthday 'celebration'. i don't know if that's bigger than a party, smaller than a party, or a party.

but i suspect that the celebration won't be too far from FP, so i'll say half yes.

colette (a2lette), Monday, 26 July 2004 08:50 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm in! (Ken we should have DDR practice beforehand)

Sarah (starry), Monday, 26 July 2004 08:53 (twenty-one years ago)

omg yes. i played last night whilst drunk and i was PISS POOR (although i was trying to do an 8 feet double pad level)

ken c (ken c), Monday, 26 July 2004 08:54 (twenty-one years ago)

oooh, can I get in on this? by freak happenstance, i´ll be in london that weekend.

Dave M. (rotten03), Monday, 26 July 2004 08:56 (twenty-one years ago)

cool, gnu people

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Monday, 26 July 2004 09:10 (twenty-one years ago)

sorry dudes, can't make it (actually I'm not sorry I won't be bowling, as bowling sucks a$$)

Porkpie (porkpie), Monday, 26 July 2004 09:11 (twenty-one years ago)

porkpie OTM.

ken c (ken c), Monday, 26 July 2004 09:12 (twenty-one years ago)

off the mark, i mean.

ken c (ken c), Monday, 26 July 2004 09:12 (twenty-one years ago)

consider me in

robster (robster), Monday, 26 July 2004 09:14 (twenty-one years ago)

plus, i love rowans. it's like all bowling alleys should be.

colette (a2lette), Monday, 26 July 2004 09:46 (twenty-one years ago)

why not come and just drink n' watch chris? (i've never understood/had explained to me why you hate bowling btw)

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Monday, 26 July 2004 09:47 (twenty-one years ago)

can't, that weekend is special. I just don't like it at all, not enough participation (you play in a group of six and you get about 5 minutes of action in an hour and for that you get charged too much money) and it's all a bit dull.

Porkpie (porkpie), Monday, 26 July 2004 10:01 (twenty-one years ago)

ou play in a group of six and you get about 5 minutes of action in an hour

but you're chearing for your team at the same time! and, at rowans at least, you can dance to 'top DJs'!

colette (a2lette), Monday, 26 July 2004 10:07 (twenty-one years ago)

Thinks about whether to go or not. Rowans makes Finsbury Park look like a budget Las Vegas when you go past it at night. I may be up for it depending on what's occuring that day.

dog latin (dog latin), Monday, 26 July 2004 10:08 (twenty-one years ago)

playing in a bigger team just minimises the humiliation...

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Monday, 26 July 2004 10:13 (twenty-one years ago)

Plus you get crazy shoes.

alix (alix), Monday, 26 July 2004 10:36 (twenty-one years ago)

if only there's a place that does UNLIMITED BOWLING. it's amazing.

When I was in uni they had unlimited bowling on weekday afternoons and I got 42 games in one time it ended up costing like 20p a game.

as to dullness! i went to play with my flatmate last night - he was some 20 points in front on the last frame and I pretty much needed to hit 3 strikes to stay in with a chance. stepped up, looked straight down the lane and threw the ball WHAM! all ten pins came down. two to go. Second delivery, curled the ball in from just off centre and STRIKE #2!

Two down one to go! Last shot, threw the ball dead straight down the middle, connects the headpin but it was too straight!! and left 2 pins.

Now flatmate needs 18 points to draw. Hits 9 on the first shot!! Needs to spare to stay in, and gets it!! now only needs to fall 8 pins to draw and 9 to win it! He throws, the ball misses the headpin! 7 pins fell! One is wobbling!!!! Is it to fall?????

IT WASN'T TO BE! and it ended as a nailbiting 153-152 finish. i was breathless.

ken c (ken c), Monday, 26 July 2004 10:39 (twenty-one years ago)

They have pool at Rowan's, don't they?

alix (alix), Monday, 26 July 2004 10:47 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh yes. And DDR. No darts though :(

Liz :x (Liz :x), Monday, 26 July 2004 10:48 (twenty-one years ago)

unless we bring our own...

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Monday, 26 July 2004 10:48 (twenty-one years ago)

they do have pool yes, I enjoy that at Rowans, the whole bowling thing leaves me cold, and those shoes! like that's a good thing? ewww

Porkpie (porkpie), Monday, 26 July 2004 10:51 (twenty-one years ago)

And a board? Or shall we merely cast them at children who stray too close? 70 points for an eye or other major organ!

sadistic xpost

Liz :x (Liz :x), Monday, 26 July 2004 10:52 (twenty-one years ago)

last time i bowled i was stupid and used the one with the big holes, the ball slipped out of my hand as i swung it back. nothing was injured, other than my pride.

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Monday, 26 July 2004 10:53 (twenty-one years ago)

Last time I went Rowan's I spent the evening getting underage girls drunk and, as I now recall, playing pool very very badly, due to being ever so slightly inebriated myself.

alix (alix), Monday, 26 July 2004 10:56 (twenty-one years ago)

Bopwling is one of those sports that when I watch it on telly, I think 'I can do that' and when I do it, I step up all confident, and then go all screwy and end up looking like a total dipshit with sever damage to my central nervous system leaving me unable to move; just waddle and then struggle to release the ball in a pathetically limp way. The shoes suck ass too.

I suspect this is all to do with an embarassing moment when I was 16.

Dave B (daveb), Monday, 26 July 2004 11:25 (twenty-one years ago)

For a very long time, I used my wrong fingers in the 3 holes (index and middle). Somehow I managed to do OK, but always seemed close to injuring myself due to the instability of the ball. As soon as I figured out the proper fingers to use, it was like a whole new, er.. ballgame.

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Monday, 26 July 2004 11:28 (twenty-one years ago)

I had my first london b-day party there! count me in!

marianna, Monday, 26 July 2004 11:36 (twenty-one years ago)

they do have pool yes, I enjoy that at Rowans, the whole bowling thing leaves me cold, and those shoes! like that's a good thing? ewww
-- Porkpie (porkypi...), July 26th, 2004 11:51 AM. (later)

liz loved them so much she stole a pair from rowans to keep as her own (and subsequently wears them BACK into rowans!! my hero!)

ken c (ken c), Monday, 26 July 2004 11:56 (twenty-one years ago)

that's just petty thirevery, not something I approve of. Some loser did that at a sinister thing once too iirc

Porkpie (porkpie), Monday, 26 July 2004 12:00 (twenty-one years ago)

fucking gay sinister loser. i bet he took them home just to gaze at them.

ken c (ken c), Monday, 26 July 2004 12:02 (twenty-one years ago)

I remember him coming up to me and saying "look I just got these from the bowling alley, aren't they nice?" No, they are not, and you sir, are a loser.

Porkpie (porkpie), Monday, 26 July 2004 12:03 (twenty-one years ago)

Woo yay Rowans, used to come hwre all the time with ny ex, who absolutely floored me the first time we went by producing Her Own Engraved Bowling Ball In Its Own Special Little Bag from the cupboard under the stairs. Never has my level of respect for someone shot up so fast.

Oh, and I think I can come to this.

CharlieNo4 (Charlie), Monday, 26 July 2004 12:07 (twenty-one years ago)

showing off stolen 2nd hand bowling shoes is a bit much. esp if they're not subsequently worn back into rowans for the £1 off shoe hire.

ken c (ken c), Monday, 26 July 2004 12:09 (twenty-one years ago)

she was so good she won by simply producing the bowling ball?

ken c (ken c), Monday, 26 July 2004 12:11 (twenty-one years ago)

although actually if she actually PRODUCED a bowling ball from raw material there and then, that must have been pretty impressive

ken c (ken c), Monday, 26 July 2004 12:12 (twenty-one years ago)

I am loser :( It was drunkleptomania, but that's no real defence.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Monday, 26 July 2004 12:55 (twenty-one years ago)

I don'think the loser I am referring to was drunk

Porkpie (porkpie), Monday, 26 July 2004 12:56 (twenty-one years ago)

Boy G innit? He did leave his scabby old shoes in exchange at the bowling alley.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Monday, 26 July 2004 12:57 (twenty-one years ago)

that's even worse, loser

Porkpie (porkpie), Monday, 26 July 2004 13:01 (twenty-one years ago)

liz maybe that was your PROBLEM!

ken c (ken c), Monday, 26 July 2004 13:02 (twenty-one years ago)

Damn, I've hardly thrown a ball all summer, and with league season staring me in the face I could use the practice. Travel to London presents a problem, though.

briania (briania), Monday, 26 July 2004 13:10 (twenty-one years ago)

how far do you have to travel?

ken c (ken c), Monday, 26 July 2004 13:12 (twenty-one years ago)

Um, Waterloo, Iowa is the nearest airport.

briania (briania), Monday, 26 July 2004 13:27 (twenty-one years ago)

try the tube more.

ken c (ken c), Monday, 26 July 2004 13:28 (twenty-one years ago)

Ah, if only Waterloo, Iowa was Waterloo Station, and I was gazing wistfully out into the sunset glow watching young lovers meet. 'Twould be paradise.

briania (briania), Monday, 26 July 2004 13:37 (twenty-one years ago)

COunt me in. Steve, are you going to phone ahead and book lanes?

Ed (dali), Monday, 26 July 2004 15:59 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm in - closest ILX event to me ever! I am rubbish, however - only played twice and was terrible, and this was in the '80s.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Monday, 26 July 2004 16:07 (twenty-one years ago)

Don't listen to Martin everybody! He claimed the same thing about his tennis skillz, which have proven to be not too shabby after all...

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Monday, 26 July 2004 16:09 (twenty-one years ago)

No, I claimed the same lack of recent experience, but I did say I used to be good. I've never been good at this.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Monday, 26 July 2004 16:48 (twenty-one years ago)

are you going to phone ahead and book lanes?

guess so, probably a few days beforehand when we know how many people can def make it

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Monday, 26 July 2004 16:52 (twenty-one years ago)

ken and i are also planning to go to Namco Station this Friday evening (meet by the Eurostar escalators at 7pm) in Waterloo where there is bowling so we might play, or just pool, arcades yadda yadda - anyone welcome to join us obv.

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Monday, 26 July 2004 16:53 (twenty-one years ago)

I went to that place once for some 'function' and got very drunk and played bumper-cars! (dodge'ems to you folk). I was also excited by the air-hockey table.

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Monday, 26 July 2004 18:29 (twenty-one years ago)

I suspect this is all to do with an embarassing moment when I was 16.

With me it was 19 and I was getting thrashed by object-of-my-affection's 12-year-old cousins. I kept sticking it in the gutter and guys from the league match on the next lane tried to give me some technique tips to which I reacted fantastically badly ("Yeah, yeah, I know, ALL RIGHT?"). Eventually, instead of slipping away quietly into last place (as quietly as OOMA slipped away to Dundee and her life-changing Masters degree the next afternoon) I got two bloody strikes at the end and everyone made a fuss. Which was WORSE.

It took 10 years to get over this. Jerry The Nipper is a good bowler. The Pinefox thinks it's all too King Of The Hill.

Michael Jones (MichaelJ), Monday, 26 July 2004 18:41 (twenty-one years ago)

ken and i are also planning to go to Namco Station this Friday evening

dude! mazan: flash of the blade! i may join you. except that means two fridays in a row in arcades and i'm not a 13-year-old boy. sad, kinda.

colette (a2lette), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 11:52 (twenty-one years ago)

there's a 13 year old boy in all of us (ew)

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 12:03 (twenty-one years ago)

ew is right! if i wanted that to be true, i'd just pick up some of the skaters under QEH...

colette (a2lette), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 12:07 (twenty-one years ago)

I was thinking of it - UNTIL THEN.

Sarah (starry), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 12:07 (twenty-one years ago)

mwah ha ha ha!

colette (a2lette), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 12:08 (twenty-one years ago)

i'm going to the zoo (zoo, zoo, how about you, you, you) that day, so no bowling action for me i think :(

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:35 (twenty-one years ago)

the key to good bowling is showing up in a bathrobe. or a skin-tight purple jumpsuit.

Dave M. (rotten03), Wednesday, 28 July 2004 16:45 (twenty-one years ago)

i want to go to the zoo, she said
i want to go to the zoo!
i'd like to take you there, he said,
i'd like to go with you!

lauren (laurenp), Wednesday, 28 July 2004 17:01 (twenty-one years ago)

stevem, ken, sarah...what's the namco station plan for tomorrow night? i'm supposed to go dancing, but not until later, so could hit the arcade first...

colette (a2lette), Thursday, 29 July 2004 15:08 (twenty-one years ago)

see the calendar

carsmile the bowling will be in the evening so gawan live dangerous

colette it's cheating to play Dance Dance Revolution before a gurlz night out.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Thursday, 29 July 2004 21:23 (twenty-one years ago)

i won't play DDR, i'm saving all my money for mazan.

here's a picture of me playing mazan:
http://www.tilt.it/pics/enada/2003/34l.jpg

(ok, not really, but that's all i could find on google)

colette (a2lette), Friday, 30 July 2004 11:28 (twenty-one years ago)

You expected to find a picture of yourself playing Mazan on g00gl3?

I am pretty good at Mazan, by the way, but it gets very hard once you get past the first section.

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Friday, 30 July 2004 12:30 (twenty-one years ago)

yeah, the parts on the river look pretty tough. oh well, it's still fun!

(didn't really expect to find a picture of myself on google, actually)

colette (a2lette), Friday, 30 July 2004 12:43 (twenty-one years ago)

(I know, it was a joke that worked better in my head than in print.)

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Friday, 30 July 2004 12:53 (twenty-one years ago)

Most of my jokes are like that :(

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Friday, 30 July 2004 13:02 (twenty-one years ago)

same here :(

ken c (ken c), Friday, 30 July 2004 13:16 (twenty-one years ago)

but then again in my head my jokes are like OMG HAHAHAH LOL EXCELSIOR WTFHAHAHROFFLE so that really isn't saying much.

ken c (ken c), Friday, 30 July 2004 13:17 (twenty-one years ago)

I think I might settle for a QNI now, I've bought Angel videos and might get in some plymouth gin although boy is DDR tempting!

Sarah (starry), Friday, 30 July 2004 13:32 (twenty-one years ago)

dude you have to come! DDR extreme!!!!!!! i need a girl to dance with to not look like completely gay dancing to "butterfly".

ken c (ken c), Friday, 30 July 2004 13:38 (twenty-one years ago)

and i'm hopeless at DDR, so sarah should really come!

colette (a2lette), Friday, 30 July 2004 13:44 (twenty-one years ago)

Ooohh er I dunno, what time are you all meeting and stuff? I am also wearing trousers which fall down somewhat dangerously!

Heh, of course I could go SHOPPING for new trousers ebforehand of course. I have Angel videos to take home though! QNI! QNI!!!

Sarah (starry), Friday, 30 July 2004 13:56 (twenty-one years ago)

DDR tonight and then angel for QNI tomorrow night innit! 7pm at the eurostar bit of waterloo station.

ken c (ken c), Friday, 30 July 2004 13:59 (twenty-one years ago)

or just outside namco station at 7:15...

colette (a2lette), Friday, 30 July 2004 14:00 (twenty-one years ago)

ken c (ken c), Friday, 30 July 2004 14:02 (twenty-one years ago)

Hallo, have you forgotten what tomorrow is Ken???

Sarah (starry), Friday, 30 July 2004 14:23 (twenty-one years ago)

hahaha oh yeah

that's great then!!! packed social schedule and you can now save the angel until you're actually really bored!!!!! and then cos you've waited, it'll be special!!

ken c (ken c), Friday, 30 July 2004 14:50 (twenty-one years ago)

*bump

wow and wasn't that fun!

I just felt the need to mention that we had a brief game of mini-bowling at the namcos. and ROB BOLTON AND STEVEM HAD THEIR CLOCKS CLEANED LIKE PUTTING AJAX TO A PAN! or something.

can't wait til rowans!

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 3 August 2004 10:06 (twenty-one years ago)

(p.s. is anyone going to er.. um.. phoneahead?)

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 3 August 2004 10:07 (twenty-one years ago)

isn't this nearly two weeks away, though?

colette (a2lette), Tuesday, 3 August 2004 10:10 (twenty-one years ago)

ambrose (ambrose), Tuesday, 3 August 2004 10:10 (twenty-one years ago)

what's a matthew, dear?

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Tuesday, 3 August 2004 10:16 (twenty-one years ago)

whoa where is matt dear playing? and are there still tickets? (not that i'd ditch bowling per se, but maybe both is not too ambitious?)

Dave M. (rotten03), Friday, 6 August 2004 12:57 (twenty-one years ago)

i think he's doing fabric.

lauren (laurenp), Friday, 6 August 2004 13:26 (twenty-one years ago)

that makes sense, ambrose is such a fabric whore

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Friday, 6 August 2004 13:55 (twenty-one years ago)

Having looked at my diary, I won't be making this, because it's the stag weekend of one of my very best and oldest friends. Annoying to miss the closest FAPpish thing to my home ever, but it's no contest.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Friday, 6 August 2004 14:17 (twenty-one years ago)

Steve, did you phone ahead yet?

Ed (dali), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 14:47 (twenty-one years ago)

No - can we have a quick roll call?

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 17:09 (twenty-one years ago)

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 17:26 (twenty-one years ago)

Aye

Ed (dali), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 08:16 (twenty-one years ago)

I have four (!) separate birthday pissups happening on Saturday night all involving completely separate groups of people, so I think I might have to knock the bowling idea on the head. Shame really.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 08:20 (twenty-one years ago)

-- Matt DC (runmd...), August 11th, 2004 9:20 AM. (later)

to avoid looking like you're favouring any one group to another you should just go bowling instead which is free of birthday attachments.

ken c (ken c), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 08:26 (twenty-one years ago)

Daft question: are we thinking daytime or evening for this?

fwiw daytime - can't make it, evening - much more likely.

CharlieNo4 (Charlie), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 08:26 (twenty-one years ago)

it was always gonna be evening

i'm thinking meet at Rowans at 7

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 08:29 (twenty-one years ago)

if it's saturday evening i really think you ought to phone ahead like

ken c (ken c), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 08:32 (twenty-one years ago)

and anyone fancy FAPPING at the swimmer beforehand in the afternoon? or even FAGOT? for ultimate right arm destruction?!??

ken c (ken c), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 08:33 (twenty-one years ago)

i'm half as cool as matt with only 2 birthdays to hit. if it started early enough (like 5) i could come for the start, but otherwise not. sorry!

colette (a2lette), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 08:34 (twenty-one years ago)

You should definitely phone ahead and even book if it's evening yr after - Rowans is a popular place. But yes, I and the Robster are in, and will probably attend any Swimmer nonsense beforehand to boot.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 08:44 (twenty-one years ago)

Shall we go for an earlier time then? Yes, good idea stevem...

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 08:59 (twenty-one years ago)

oh dear we'll be eating offal and drinking fine wines ;o)

Porkpie (porkpie), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 09:04 (twenty-one years ago)

you can't seriously expect us to swallow that tripe...

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 09:08 (twenty-one years ago)

if there was afternoon/early evening drinking, that would work perfectly with my plan, actually. the bar for birthday number 1 is expensive and i'd like to do a little 'warming up' before i arrive...

colette (a2lette), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 09:11 (twenty-one years ago)

I third or fourth the swimmer - not been there in ages. Mmm - Litovel.

robster (robster), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 09:19 (twenty-one years ago)

I am doing stuff in the day but will come along for the even-tide part of this... have we confirmed plans yet?

Sarah is feeling a bit emotional, Wednesday, 11 August 2004 09:28 (twenty-one years ago)

drunk already sarah?

ken c (ken c), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 09:29 (twenty-one years ago)

i am up for this. timing matters not.

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 09:31 (twenty-one years ago)

Newly single.

Blahaha, Wednesday, 11 August 2004 09:32 (twenty-one years ago)

I can't make drinks or tennis earlier that day either - as I said upthread, it's a whole stag weekend for one of my very best friends. The schedule I've been given is Friday night - drinking in a pub; Saturday - drinking around a friend's house, plus music and games (if anyone is that organised); Sunday - headaches, guilt, recriminations. Sounds like a workable plan to me.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 11:21 (twenty-one years ago)

Afternoon I can make it, evening I'm not sure.

Markelby (Mark C), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 11:23 (twenty-one years ago)

Bollocks, I meant the other way round. Afernoon definitely can't make it, unsure about the evening.

Markelby (Mark C), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 11:25 (twenty-one years ago)

Looks like two lanes is all we need then, if that, gah

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 13:09 (twenty-one years ago)

(Though I do have to run off in the late evening to attend a zombie birthday.)
But, bowling! ROWR!

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 14:47 (twenty-one years ago)

i'll be there

(and hey, new poster my ass - I've been here since 1999! it's not my fault my FAPping has to be spread across three continents, grumble)

Dave M. (rotten03), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 22:56 (twenty-one years ago)

Blimey! How long are you in London for? Do you have time for a regular FAP?

Matt DC (Matt DC), Thursday, 12 August 2004 07:55 (twenty-one years ago)

Just phoned ahead but have not booked because according to Junge Dame Mit Freundliche Telefon Stimme if we get there for 5pm we will probably get a lane reasonably quickly, and if we do have to wait there's the bar, pool etc. so should be okay. If anyone wants to book a lane for around that time anyway then feel free but it's per hour so I thought it best not to as it's still not clear how many are turning up and for how long they will be there for.

Will be in The Swimmer for around 3pm - see you there.

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Thursday, 12 August 2004 10:43 (twenty-one years ago)

Marvellous. i don't remember any of the Junge Damen there sounding like they'd have Freundliche Telefon Stimme, but that's just me.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Thursday, 12 August 2004 10:45 (twenty-one years ago)

BTW, Colette, if you read this... I don't think I'm going to be up for drinking on Saturday night. I really can't face the West End - I think I'm just going to go to the movies with my bassist after recording on Saturday. I'll text you if I change my mind, but right now I'm just feeling too fragile and shit.

Super-Masonic Black Hole (kate), Thursday, 12 August 2004 10:52 (twenty-one years ago)

oh prices btw

£1 entry
£3 per game
£1 shoe hire

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Thursday, 12 August 2004 11:01 (twenty-one years ago)

no problem, kate, i totally understand. but let me know if you change your mind, or even if you want to meet some other time this weekend to talk about stuff...

colette (a2lette), Thursday, 12 August 2004 11:02 (twenty-one years ago)

hmm, OK, i think i can make it post-zoo going (meg too), but probably be a bit later than 5...

(steve, here are some cats to herd, carry on)

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Thursday, 12 August 2004 11:12 (twenty-one years ago)

If I come I won't be there before 6 at the very earliest...

Markelby (Mark C), Thursday, 12 August 2004 11:26 (twenty-one years ago)

I'll be later than 5 too, probably. Can we nominate a phone representative to keep an eye out for text messages/phone calls etc so we can find out where you chaps are?

bababab, Thursday, 12 August 2004 11:31 (twenty-one years ago)

ken's mobile should be searchable ;)

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Thursday, 12 August 2004 11:32 (twenty-one years ago)

yeah my mobile is on google.

shall we maybe make the bowling later? and maximise on swimmer time (and possibly pool playage?)

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 12 August 2004 12:09 (twenty-one years ago)

Actually leaving the Swimmer could present a physical and mental challenge to be honest.

robster (robster), Thursday, 12 August 2004 12:16 (twenty-one years ago)

it's cheaper before 6pm, and there's more chance of getting lanes without a long wait, but let's play by ear. i am bowling whatever happens.

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Thursday, 12 August 2004 12:17 (twenty-one years ago)

those metal gates can be hard to navigate through i guess.

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 12 August 2004 12:19 (twenty-one years ago)

We can always get a game in starting before the cheapo cutoff, the late attendees can join in for the second...?

Liz :x (Liz :x), Thursday, 12 August 2004 13:31 (twenty-one years ago)

or possibly third

morrissey (ken c), Thursday, 12 August 2004 13:32 (twenty-one years ago)

we should aim to get to rowans for 17:15 so that Newcastle vs Middlesbrough can be watched ;)

ken c (ken c), Friday, 13 August 2004 09:06 (twenty-one years ago)

so tomorrow, if anyone needs to call me (sigh) my number is 07967 755446. should be at the swimmer by 3pm. and possibly playing tennis at highbury fields around noon! (either 11-12 or 12-1) yeah my arm's gonna be fucked on sunday! see some of yous tomorrow

ken c (ken c), Friday, 13 August 2004 19:13 (twenty-one years ago)

I'll cycle back from the footie, have a shower then head on up. Realistically, 6.30 is the very earliest I'll make it. I guess I'll just have to come and find you and see what's going on.

Markelby (Mark C), Friday, 13 August 2004 20:50 (twenty-one years ago)

OUCH

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Monday, 16 August 2004 07:31 (twenty-one years ago)

Bad head yesterday? I woke up with the lager-fear after 6 hours' sleep, then we bimbled around all day and I made chicken casserole. Saturday was much fun, what with the (oh god) Singstar marathon and everything. Why didn't someone tell me Groove Is In The Heart is so difficult?

Liz :x (Liz :x), Monday, 16 August 2004 07:36 (twenty-one years ago)

OMG going back to Ken's and singing along with a PlayStation was the craziest bestest thing ever. But oh boy did the bouze take its toll.

Ken I owe you (or your flatmate) a guitar string.
Sarah - did you survive your Sunday morning? I assume you managed OK (I could barely move)

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Monday, 16 August 2004 07:38 (twenty-one years ago)

THE ACE OF SHPADESHH! THE ASHE OF SHPADESHH!

*ahem*

Anyway, yes, jolly good though ruinous and expensive fun. Chicken casserole and Charade proved an excellent tonic on Sunday.

robster (robster), Monday, 16 August 2004 07:42 (twenty-one years ago)

i think you're all forgetting the most important thing which is how i beat demon Ken by a single point after hitting 4 (it's swerved wide! nooooooooo!), making the spare and then somehow knocking 8 down on the extra go and generally playing better than i believe was possible (attn Greg, where's the picture?!!) - clearly the secret is beer, copious beer...seeing as i sucked ass for the previous three games. thanks to everyone for coming out i had an awesome time and will def be doing it more often now. surprisingly minimal ruin on sunday despire numerous singstar massacres and vodka.

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Monday, 16 August 2004 07:46 (twenty-one years ago)

Shirley the most important thing was my glorious victory in the first game (although I ph34r no photographic proof was obtained). Subsequent games proved this was mostly a fluke cos I played teh suck.

robster (robster), Monday, 16 August 2004 07:55 (twenty-one years ago)

I improved my scores slightly with each game. La bouze is clearly the positive factor we all know it to be.

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Monday, 16 August 2004 08:04 (twenty-one years ago)

haha omg that was the funnehz! My sparing ability was lacking from the first game - hit 5 strikes and still lost! and then all abilities was gone after excession alcohol consumption.

memorable moments - pool table from hell (with the gravitational pull towards one corner), sarah being sponsored to play DDR by random people, bowling fun, my inability to order chicken through speech after excessive alcohol, first red wine stains on my carpet (now our flat is a proper home), inability to stand up the next morning.

haha after you guys had all left me and my flatmate and his mates ended up playing WWE wrestling until 4 in the morning! I won the Royal Rumble!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ken c (ken c), Monday, 16 August 2004 08:04 (twenty-one years ago)

It sounded like complete mentalism at the point you lot phoned me up, it must be said.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Monday, 16 August 2004 08:05 (twenty-one years ago)

Aw man I forgot about the pool table. It was like there was a black hole in one of the corner pockets.

robster (robster), Monday, 16 August 2004 08:08 (twenty-one years ago)

Dudes, totally big with the fun.

Though I demand a second chance for a Bolton Ralley Drive-Off!

marianna lcl, Monday, 16 August 2004 08:12 (twenty-one years ago)

bring it on, baby. i am the master of rally driving - or 'controlled skidding' as it should be known. i really want my own rally car - a little peugot 206 all tricked out and with the rollbar and everything. and i want a uber-calm passenger to holler out cryptic road signals to me...

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Monday, 16 August 2004 08:18 (twenty-one years ago)

medium left long easy right

ken c (ken c), Monday, 16 August 2004 08:23 (twenty-one years ago)

apologies for the no show. far too much dozing in London Fields watching fat men play cricket (badly, I've never seen a full toss go six feet over the wicket keeper for four leg-byes)

Ed (dali), Monday, 16 August 2004 09:06 (twenty-one years ago)

revive

Rowans this Friday night - Ken and I are game

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Tuesday, 24 August 2004 10:56 (twenty-one years ago)

i thought you said "ken and i are gay"...

both applies, though.

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 24 August 2004 11:19 (twenty-one years ago)

your going bowling on a friday night? are you, in fact, 15?

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Tuesday, 24 August 2004 11:28 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm game if I can get my hands on some cash. Payday is not till bloody tuesday, bastards.

Ed (dali), Tuesday, 24 August 2004 11:29 (twenty-one years ago)

we're just not 45 steve that's all ;)

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 24 August 2004 11:31 (twenty-one years ago)

I'd like to go bowling sometime. I've been in bad shape lately (depression) so I'm not certain whether I'll be up for it or not, but at least it's dead convenient for me.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Tuesday, 24 August 2004 12:49 (twenty-one years ago)

no problem, see how you feel on Friday - we'll probably meet at the Swimmer again at around 6.30

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Tuesday, 24 August 2004 12:58 (twenty-one years ago)

I would totally be up for this if:
a) we could eat hot dogs and shakes in a diner beforehand.
b) we could all drive to the middle of parkland nowheresville, sit on the bonnet and drink some brewskis.

Aah, a fictionalised youth.

marianna lcl, Tuesday, 24 August 2004 12:58 (twenty-one years ago)

c) teach those Riverdale punks a lesson

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Tuesday, 24 August 2004 12:59 (twenty-one years ago)

I am going to see AN INDIE BAND (but yet so much more!) at the Verge on Friday night so, er, stuff bladdy Finsbury Park for a game of muffins.

Starry (hello chickens), Tuesday, 24 August 2004 13:00 (twenty-one years ago)

but nowheresville has no bowling alley.

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 24 August 2004 13:01 (twenty-one years ago)

a) we could eat hot dogs and shakes in a diner beforehand.

can't you go to that diner on old compton street first?

colette (a2lette), Tuesday, 24 August 2004 13:03 (twenty-one years ago)

OH MY GOD. They do the best peanut butter milkshakes EVER! They also charge, like, £20 for a hot dog.

marianna lcl, Tuesday, 24 August 2004 13:04 (twenty-one years ago)

They are not just an INDIE BAND! They are THE PLAYWRIGHTS! Hrmm, actually, we could go to the Swimmer for a swift one beforehand, Stars, maybe?

Ricardo (RickyT), Tuesday, 24 August 2004 13:07 (twenty-one years ago)

omg they do! i want a long island iced tea

xpost

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 24 August 2004 13:07 (twenty-one years ago)

i heard you can find something else on old compton street...

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Tuesday, 24 August 2004 13:17 (twenty-one years ago)

Mmm, cheap and nasty Italian.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Tuesday, 24 August 2004 13:19 (twenty-one years ago)

for only £50!

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Tuesday, 24 August 2004 13:21 (twenty-one years ago)

I though Mark worked on Wardour St?

marianna lcl, Tuesday, 24 August 2004 13:22 (twenty-one years ago)

Pollo was ominously closed for refurbishment last time I walked past. I hope it's not trying to head upmarket or something.

Ricardo (RickyT), Tuesday, 24 August 2004 13:23 (twenty-one years ago)

is the authentic diner called ed's, or is that somewhere else? i like the milkshakes at the eagle diner or whatever better, but if you're going for americana...

(damn, too bad i'm leaving town for the weekend-- could bring out the stars and stripes paper plates and cups my mom sent me as a joke!)

colette (a2lette), Tuesday, 24 August 2004 13:25 (twenty-one years ago)

The Eagle... was that the place we got the alcoholic milkshakes? OH MY GOD, those were delicious!

Super-Masonic Black Hole (kate), Tuesday, 24 August 2004 13:26 (twenty-one years ago)

The Eagle Bar Diner does do amazing Vodka milkshakes. Oh god, and Kangaroo burgers. I'm /so/ going this week.

marianna lcl, Tuesday, 24 August 2004 13:27 (twenty-one years ago)

ed's is the one yeah.

so who's up for boweling?

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 26 August 2004 09:18 (twenty-one years ago)

i going to nindie band, but will meet for early pint in swimmer :)

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Thursday, 26 August 2004 09:20 (twenty-one years ago)

Hooray! Nindie nindie :)

Starry (hello chickens), Thursday, 26 August 2004 09:21 (twenty-one years ago)

I think i am going to raindance that day

lukey (Lukey G), Thursday, 26 August 2004 09:24 (twenty-one years ago)

Hurrah for nindie + Swimmer!

Ricardo (RickyT), Thursday, 26 August 2004 09:27 (twenty-one years ago)

I went to some place called the Burger Union on Dean St. Their hamburgers were OK, but a little overpriced, but I saw that they do malts and alcoholic milkshakes.

I will go bowling Ken, but I will not have too much alcohol, cause I might get called by work, and I will want to be good at the bowling.

marianna, Thursday, 26 August 2004 09:41 (twenty-one years ago)

The burgers i had there were rubbish, thin, overcooked and flavourless. the indignity of French's mustard, undercooked chips and a choclate malt which was neither chocolatety nor malty all for just under a tenner, they can fuck off.

Ed (dali), Thursday, 26 August 2004 09:43 (twenty-one years ago)

yay marianna!

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 26 August 2004 09:51 (twenty-one years ago)

Swimmer at 6:30, I may be a little late.

Ed (dali), Thursday, 26 August 2004 09:56 (twenty-one years ago)

Actually, that's a pretty adequate assessment of the Burger Union from Ed. It's just that my burger standards are so low now.

marianna, Thursday, 26 August 2004 11:12 (twenty-one years ago)

i've eaten there (and the covent garden branch) and had exactly the opposite experience! good, rare, flavoursome burgers in a decent bun (which is pretty unusual) and good chips too. i haven't tried the milkshakes though.

toby (tsg20), Thursday, 26 August 2004 11:18 (twenty-one years ago)

I'd quite like to go there - it's a minute's walk from my office - ut it'll have to wait til my diet is over. Is it a good place for a romantic meal for two?

Markelby (Mark C), Thursday, 26 August 2004 11:31 (twenty-one years ago)

if you share a burger it can help with the diet and be extra romantic, maybe.

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 26 August 2004 11:33 (twenty-one years ago)

Like the spaghetti scene in The Lady and the Tramp, you mean?

Markelby (Mark C), Thursday, 26 August 2004 12:07 (twenty-one years ago)

yup!

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 26 August 2004 12:08 (twenty-one years ago)

I think I'm unlikely to make the Swimmer early, and would be grateful to know what sort of time people might be moving to the bowling, as I might well just join up there, if I can make it at all. Any idea? Or is anyone going that has my mobile number, or who I can give it to, as I can get to Rowans from home about as quickly as you can from The Swimmer, I guess?

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Thursday, 26 August 2004 22:03 (twenty-one years ago)

martin you have my number. swimmer's prolly only for 1 - 2 pints? will txt msg u whn we r ging 2 rwns.

ken c (ken c), Friday, 27 August 2004 07:19 (twenty-one years ago)

can one bowl left handed if one is right handed? i'm so bored bowling actually sounds like fun! especially if SWimmer is involved!

Super-Masonic Black Hole (kate), Friday, 27 August 2004 10:19 (twenty-one years ago)

oh wait, it's tonight, not tomorrow night as i thought. :-(

Super-Masonic Black Hole (kate), Friday, 27 August 2004 10:20 (twenty-one years ago)

yes you can! i used to do that a lot. (at one point i could bowl hook shots with my left arm while my right was straight shots only!)

ken c (ken c), Friday, 27 August 2004 10:21 (twenty-one years ago)

aw u cannae come oot tonite?

ken c (ken c), Friday, 27 August 2004 10:21 (twenty-one years ago)

i am supposed to be onearmed mixerman tonight. cannot bowl tonight. wanted to bowl tomorrow. sorry, confused. blame medication. what was other film with one-armed baddie that is not The Fugitive (wot a rubbish film) - was it twin peaks or was that a one eyed man?

Super-Masonic Black Hole (kate), Friday, 27 August 2004 10:22 (twenty-one years ago)

Def Leppard - The Movie?

alix (alix), Friday, 27 August 2004 10:41 (twenty-one years ago)

words cannot convey quite how bad this film is...

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Friday, 27 August 2004 11:25 (twenty-one years ago)

Since I've failed to get in to work yet again today, if I make it out at all I have the time to come to the Swimmer first. Don't know what my chances are, but I fancy it. What time is anyone getting to the pub?

Ken, I don't think I do have your number, but as it happens it isn't an issue.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Friday, 27 August 2004 11:53 (twenty-one years ago)

cool. we go to swimmer at 6:30 yay!

ken c (ken c), Friday, 27 August 2004 11:56 (twenty-one years ago)

Need pint.

Starry (hello chickens), Friday, 27 August 2004 15:24 (twenty-one years ago)

then come drink swimmer jizz with us!

ken c (ken c), Friday, 27 August 2004 15:25 (twenty-one years ago)

How about I drink Swimmer BEER instead? Are you chaps gonna be there from 6.30?

Starry (hello chickens), Friday, 27 August 2004 15:32 (twenty-one years ago)

yup to both.

ken c (ken c), Friday, 27 August 2004 15:46 (twenty-one years ago)

you're missing out on the j. though.

ken c (ken c), Friday, 27 August 2004 15:47 (twenty-one years ago)

will be there jsut after seven, fingers crossed.

Ed (dali), Friday, 27 August 2004 16:12 (twenty-one years ago)

We had a good time bowling. I was probably the worst bowler, and Ken certainly the best. A fine evening out.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Friday, 27 August 2004 22:52 (twenty-one years ago)

Sorry I missed it - I was suddenly really knackered about four o'clock for some reason, so I just dozed off instead. Bugger.

it is this saturday! (unless another day is more convenient) i'm tennising with flatmate this sat but that's in the morning.

haha nope i mean referbed! (that's what it said on the sign when they were referbishing! "Closed for referb")

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 21 September 2004 09:53 (twenty-one years ago)

It reminds me of 'reverb' like that: do they play dirty drone rock now?

Liz :x (Liz :x), Tuesday, 21 September 2004 09:57 (twenty-one years ago)

they DO actually have live music now.. but i don't think it's dirty drone rock (although is reverb a dirty drone rock thing?)

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 21 September 2004 10:09 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm sure they had a Spacemen 3 tribute band last time I was in there!!

Markelby (Mark C), Tuesday, 21 September 2004 10:36 (twenty-one years ago)

wow when were you there?

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 21 September 2004 10:36 (twenty-one years ago)

I think I'll be on for this Saturday.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Tuesday, 21 September 2004 16:26 (twenty-one years ago)

my foot is almost back to full fitness

ken c (ken c), Friday, 24 September 2004 09:36 (twenty-one years ago)

ken c (ken c), Friday, 24 September 2004 09:36 (twenty-one years ago)

Dirty dronerock? Closed for Reverb? What? What?

What's going on? What have I missed?

Danger Whore (kate), Friday, 24 September 2004 09:39 (twenty-one years ago)

Not that much, love. Come bowling!

Liz :x (Liz :x), Friday, 24 September 2004 09:49 (twenty-one years ago)

the Holloway pub on holloway road was "Closed for Referb" for the past 9 months (when nothing was being done for 8 months, something dodgy probably was going on), now reopened and has bands playing. i'm not sure if the bands are dirty drone rock though.

ken c (ken c), Friday, 24 September 2004 09:50 (twenty-one years ago)

Bowling for dirty dronerock boys...

This is this Saturday? I don't know! I seem to have overbooked! I promised Emma I'd help her move, but I also promised Daren that I would take drugs with him (depending on the outcome of his date, obv. taking drugs with me would come after getting laid, this is important) and now I don't know what to dooooo...

Danger Whore (kate), Friday, 24 September 2004 09:52 (twenty-one years ago)

pwn3rs don't use drugs

ken c (ken c), Friday, 24 September 2004 09:55 (twenty-one years ago)

Neither do I! That's why it's funny!

Danger Whore (kate), Friday, 24 September 2004 09:57 (twenty-one years ago)

I might be able to come to this, depending on how Saturday pans out. (The bowling, not the post-coital drug binge).

Matt DC (Matt DC), Friday, 24 September 2004 10:06 (twenty-one years ago)

I might be able to come to this, depending on how Saturday pans out. (The bowling, not the post-coital drug binge).
-- Matt DC (runmd...), September 24th, 2004 11:06 AM. (later)

maybe all of the above depending on how Saturday pans out

ken c (ken c), Friday, 24 September 2004 10:10 (twenty-one years ago)

It's not *me* getting to have sex, dammit. I'm just helping a friend move! Sigh.

Danger Whore (kate), Friday, 24 September 2004 10:16 (twenty-one years ago)

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Friday, 24 September 2004 10:17 (twenty-one years ago)

ken c (ken c), Friday, 24 September 2004 10:18 (twenty-one years ago)

Quit it, or I'll spam this thread with photos of sweating rock boys, too!

Danger Whore (kate), Friday, 24 September 2004 10:20 (twenty-one years ago)

ken c (ken c), Friday, 24 September 2004 13:28 (twenty-one years ago)

Matt DC (Matt DC), Friday, 24 September 2004 13:32 (twenty-one years ago)

teh pow! (blueski), Friday, 24 September 2004 13:34 (twenty-one years ago)

ken c (ken c), Friday, 24 September 2004 13:35 (twenty-one years ago)

ken c (ken c), Friday, 24 September 2004 13:35 (twenty-one years ago)

Working.

Boo.

Pete (Pete), Friday, 24 September 2004 13:39 (twenty-one years ago)

sorry pete :\

ken c (ken c), Friday, 24 September 2004 13:50 (twenty-one years ago)

Lunching with my sister on Upper St. Which is what we'll be doing beforehand. Mmmm sibling time.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Friday, 24 September 2004 13:54 (twenty-one years ago)

bring your sister to bowling!

ken c (ken c), Friday, 24 September 2004 13:56 (twenty-one years ago)

ken c (ken c), Friday, 24 September 2004 13:58 (twenty-one years ago)

Take your sister bowling... take her... BOWLING!!!

Danger Whore (kate), Friday, 24 September 2004 14:12 (twenty-one years ago)

Um, no. My sister is not an ILX type person.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Friday, 24 September 2004 14:18 (twenty-one years ago)

FUN-LOVER!

teh pow! (blueski), Friday, 24 September 2004 14:25 (twenty-one years ago)

only ilx type people bowl now?

ken c (ken c), Friday, 24 September 2004 15:23 (twenty-one years ago)

so what's the timing on the swimmer/bowling? i might come out, not sure yet.

toby (tsg20), Saturday, 25 September 2004 08:09 (twenty-one years ago)

Sounds like 4 for Swimmer, 6 for bowling. I'm pretty sure I'll be along.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Saturday, 25 September 2004 09:09 (twenty-one years ago)

i think i may well come to the swimmer, depending on what time i go to the cinema, but prob not the bowling.

has anyone else noticed the lineup at fabric tonight?! michael mayer, ellen allien, mylo...

toby (tsg20), Saturday, 25 September 2004 09:46 (twenty-one years ago)

actually it seems that the timing won't work for me to make the swimmer. sorry...

toby (tsg20), Saturday, 25 September 2004 10:35 (twenty-one years ago)

Aah shite Fabric looks fantastic tonight.

In other news I have been invited to a friend's birthday thing at the Spanish Bar BEFORE CHUCKING OUT TIME. I'm not sure what this is going to be like.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Saturday, 25 September 2004 13:05 (twenty-one years ago)

I mean, of all the drinking establishments in London who in their right mind chooses the Spanish Bar?

Matt DC (Matt DC), Saturday, 25 September 2004 13:05 (twenty-one years ago)

Did it turn out to be completely empty until 11.20?

I got my personal best at the bowling, 97, in the first game, then 99 in the second. Still pretty poor, I realise, but improvement for me. Ken and Stevem both put in great performances, but intermittently.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Saturday, 25 September 2004 21:52 (twenty-one years ago)

i missed too many silly shots.

ken c (ken c), Sunday, 26 September 2004 12:57 (twenty-one years ago)

i've noticed ken takes a game or two to REALLY kick into gear - of course by then the beer is addling his mind to the extent that he can be pwned quite nicely :)

teh pow! (blueski), Monday, 27 September 2004 07:04 (twenty-one years ago)

Always nice to see a photo of my ASS on a Monday morning.

I was grebt in the 1st game and pwn3d everyone except Ken. I was crap in the next two games though.

The Nipper's technique was indeed a joy to watch.

CRAZY DANCING WOMAN!!!!

robster (robster), Monday, 27 September 2004 10:37 (twenty-one years ago)

Oi, how about my (second place) pwning in that game? I was GREAT. Although I seem to be very blurry when actually bowling - can attendees confirm this?

Don't forget I PWNED YOU ROBSTER.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Monday, 27 September 2004 10:38 (twenty-one years ago)

i miss Esther and Marina's ass.

ken c (ken c), Monday, 27 September 2004 10:41 (twenty-one years ago)

I diddn't notice that they only had the one between them - did they keep passing it around?

Liz :x (Liz :x), Monday, 27 September 2004 10:42 (twenty-one years ago)

they may well have one ass each but i've never seen them together!! (i might have a heart attack if i do)

ken c (ken c), Monday, 27 September 2004 11:06 (twenty-one years ago)

Liz, I can confirm that you looked a bit blurry. In unrelated news, I have my eye op this coming Friday.

Ha, my pic makes it obvious that I don't know what I'm doing.
