Michael J. Fox - Michael J. Fox, star of TV's Spin City and the Back To The Future films, once auditioned for the bass player position in the band.

Ah if only I had access to photos of myself and my ladies! maybe later....

My personal opinion is that Canadian women are insanely hot and sexy for the most part and Canadian men are usually funny but a bit on the average side in terms of looks and CERTAINLY don't appreciate the beauty they are surrounded by daily. And no, I am NOT referring to The Rockies - unless you think I am talking about the ones on my chest. (My ass would be the Laurentians)

How come there are no photos of Platinum Blonde here?

Thanks Rob for posting Corey Hart. Holy CRAP that picture of him is fantasy material!

Some of these photos didn't come through for me....is Mike Myers here somewhere too?

Look at how (fake) tanned and big haired Platinum Blonde are in that photo! They were tangoed before tangoing even existed! I fucking LOVE IT!

They were like, probably my first concert ever when I was 10 at Hamilton Place and we had 8th row centre seats and I just thought I was going to die of happiness. My sister threw a pout because she didn't want me to go she wanted one of her friends to go and then my dad threatened to take her ticket away from her (ha!) and she got over it and we threw carnations on the stage and a roadie (who in retrospect was probably so pissed off to be there PERIOD) tied them to the microphones and it was like they were BREATHING on them and their SPIT was getting on them and it was totally wicked and exhilarating.

Though I am not sure if this or The Jacksons Victory tour was actually my first concert (kind of like the chicken or the egg no?), this one was FAR MORE IMPRESSIVE and makes the better story don't you think? (nothing really happened at the Jackson show, other than that we were really far away and I could barely see anything even with the binoculars that we borrowed and I think we returned to our neighbour broken but I remember a lot of screaming. I think one of the reasons why people cannot accept that MJ is most likely a pedophile is because at some point the girls wanted to marry him and the guys wanted to be him and we are all in denial that we would love someone who turned about to be a total creepazoid)

Uh, sorry. I got totally off topic there and just went right into my own head space hunh?

The Victory Tour was my first concert, ever, too, Trish! It was at Neyland Stadium, which at the time was the largest sports arena east of the Mississippi, and yeah, I couldn't really see anything, either. I had posters of Michael Jackson tacked to the ceiling ABOVE MY BED.

NoTimeBeforeTime (Barry Bruner), Wednesday, 1 February 2006 21:19 (nineteen years ago)

Seriously Tracer Hand...in retrospect, what were we thinking?

That he was totally harmless I think. Which if his predilections are true, I guess he still is! To us girls at least.....

I LOVE GINO VANELLI! OMG what a studmuffin! Look at that Italian afro! And the chest hair!

Fast Cars...look better in the shade......

That SONG is ripe for a comeback.

This is so much fun!

I didn't know until recently that Mitsou was in The Barbarian Invasion.

I didn't make the connection until now!

Sundar (sundar), Thursday, 2 February 2006 02:26 (nineteen years ago)

Thermo - why won't it happen? Rob posted his picture, and I'm pretty darn sure it was from a file on his computer. Granted I'm not much of a techie, but I find it hard to believe it's not possible somehow. I have a Mac. Does that help? (Like having a Mac will solve everything. Even world hunger. HA! I'm getting off topic again, aren't I? ) I do have pictures of me "online", will that help?

SimplytTrish, Thursday, 2 February 2006 03:13 (nineteen years ago)

I really don't feel like explaining this but I can assure you Rob most certainly did not link to anything saved on his machine. I own a mac too and you have embarrassed us both! What do you think would happen to the picture once you shut your machine down???

It is true - you can only link to images that are "online" - believe it. Just copy the address and put an "i" infront of it and it should show up.

Dave Q you are RIGHT! I am embarrassed!

Actually given Thermo's response as well I guess I am just embarrassing. Such is the nature of my being I suppose. Though in my defence I did not think about what would happen when I closed my machine. I was thinking that if you can upload a photo from file to a website (which still appears when your computer is turned off) then you should be able to do the same thing here. I guess I get out too much to know the ins and outs of computer technology. Or more to the point I really don't care enough to know.

Notice that no where in this do I say anything about Canadians being SMART. Though I still think by and large we are, with the exception of a few bad days.

Hi Trish! Yes, silly, you need to post the photos online first. Use Photobucket or Flickr or something. I use Photobucket - it gives you the URL of the image after you upload it. Then you just put and "i" before that URL here, and PRESTO MAGIC!

Anyway, carry on...
