It's like, here's the problem. You've got X% of posters who are just flat out idiots. This is like real life; the only reason it's vaguely more annoying on the internet is because these people are all convinced that owning a Dell and getting online somehow makes them more intelligent than the unwashed masses, so they try harder. Then there's the rest of people, who have good and bad days but overall are basically tolerable. And quite frankly everyone listed above should be tolerable as well, there's no reason to be bothered by what some dipshit posts on a goddamn message board, at least not bothered to the point of threads like "actually blount" or "BAN LOUIS JAGGER" etc etc etc.

Posting this here because someone cut off Dan's get this off your chest thread.

This board isn't fun, it isn't relaxing, it doesn't give me any lunch-time respite from an extremely stressful job. It's asinine, completely fucking asinine. It's simple! Keep to threads that are topics you know about! Don't read city threads if you don't live there or are friends with the people there! I had two kitties that never got along in the five years I had them. The lady cat just ended up living in a kitchen drawer that I left open a bit for her. She'd come out to eat, poop, etc, but remained in the drawer the rest of the time. It was a stupid situation but a drawer kitty is a low maintenance pet and a little more amusing than a houseplant or novelty throw pillow would be.
