Idea #1 : JAMES BOND VS THE ANIMAL KINGDOM

-The entire animal kingdom suddenly turns against the human race and kills everyone except JAMES BOND and a PRETTY RUSSIAN AGENT. Lots of 1st person hunting-style action, also air and water levels where you can take out whales and swans and stuff. Bonus ant crushing level.

ROCK:SCISSORS:PAPER, The Game. It would be more like a war strategy came where each side has armies that operate according to their strengths and weaknesses.

House Building Simulator!

You buy a patch of land, design a house then you build it, you can interact with the other house builders too! And buy stuff from the local hardware store, and chat to the pretty girls/boys in town, who knows they might come over to your pad when it's finished ;)

There would also be an interior design extension pack.

It'd be all cutesy like Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon.

All the fun of going through other people's rubbish and finding items of value, without the fear of cutting yourself on sharp objects, bad smells and flies!

World Trampoline!

All the continents are trampolines! You jump up and down on them, and get transported to the other planets and beyond. Sometimes you may bump into other players and explode like a big firework, it'd be a cool multiplayer Nintendo style game.

Platform game set in a giant concrete office building filled with horribly aggressive officials. Fiendish puzzles make you question your sanity. Power-ups turn you into a bug. BERKELEY: the game

This is a lot like my LONDON: the game, in which you must get across London to work in a set amount of time. Avoid the clipboard gamut, try to seek alternate routes when the tube fucks up, pick up free money at the liverpool street station cashpoints (this has happened to me IRL twice!), dodge bums and dog poo, top up energy levels at pret and pubs, chase down the asshole who steals your phone. bonus points for scoring a seat on the hammersmith and shitty line.

I once intended to make a game to test some programming crap, but had trouble coming up with an idea.
so was born CIRCULAR PONG.
Instead of a rectangular field and two paddles, it's a circular field and just one paddle that travels its circumference. So when you thwock that ball off, you have to race off to catch it on the other end. The ultimate saddo game \o/
I never actually made it, of course. I made a crap shoot 'em up instead. It DID have the Magma logo as an enemy starship though. 2 kvlt 4 skule

There is now a Wii Sims game that is pretty much exactly like this! You have to build houses for people, and also design furniture for them. They are kinda bitchy about demanding furniture from you, but it's kinda fun if, instead of building individual structures on each lot, you use smaller pieces to build whole multiple-building city blocks. (I made a fake "west side of Chicago" district that actually kinda looks like the west side of Chicago, only significantly more picturesque.)

nabisco, Monday, 19 January 2009 18:49 (sixteen years ago)

Oh wait, Jel was joking about the original Sims being exactly like that, wasn't he. I never played any older Sims games. But this Wii one is way more about the urban planning and furniture-building than the old ones looked like they were. You don't have to manage anyone's life, just build crap.
