I recently accepted a job offer. The job doesn't start until March 21st. This means I have not only free time, but I don't have to look for a job during that free time, actually making it FREE TIME. Which means I can roam around and have a little fun before the grind begins again.

And since I haven't been in SF for a while, I was thinking of looking for a cheap flight down during the week.

Now, i have no idea how long I would be there. I'll be looking into options tomorrow. But it would be no earlier than Sunday the 13th. (I'm seeing Slint the night before in Seattle) and I'd probably want a few days to spend in Seattle and a weekend before I got back to work.. also flights out on Wednesday or Thursday are much cheaper than Friday or Saturday flights.

I'm more likely to be free to FAP on Tuesday or Wednesday than Sunday or Monday... although I might be free Sunday afternoon or early evening, if I can get a flight out early enough that day.

Then again, I'm not sure if you guys are free and/or want to have me FAP with you guys. If not, it's totally cool :) I can probably just hang by myself.

I know I'm being horribly vague now with the actual dates.. will be more detailed later.

i'm probably gonna have to dj some gig in LA, but i'll call you and let you know some fun things to do...

The JaXoN 5 (JasonD), Thursday, 10 March 2005 06:50 (twenty years ago)

Heh heh.. I do feel bad for the sorry timing on my part during the holiday season visit you made up here. You had called me for a drink after I made a long journey, and my legs were functionless by then.

donut debonair (donut), Thursday, 10 March 2005 07:00 (twenty years ago)

You must have posted this at a very odd time for me to miss it. I'll be around. No plans, I don't think. Tuesdays are not good for me because I have class in the evenings.

Actually, Wednesday would be good.

Ya lucky bum, donut.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 10 March 2005 16:24 (twenty years ago)

Yes he is. We have beautiful weather today too. And KYLE will be rocking the Mission this evening with his rocking jams.

Jeffy is "opening" for MIA.

Donut, come say Hi, I might be in NYC around then (NoFunFest2/Slint/Engagement Plans) but I should be around mid-weekish.

Wednesday

Senior Executive/CEO (nordicskilla), Thursday, 10 March 2005 19:39 (twenty years ago)

hmmm.. seems like the best deals I'm finding are using the flight+hotel option on either travelocity or expedia...

Guys, how's The Mosser hotel, off Market and 4th st.? They do mention a lot of rooms sharing a bathroom, and I'd rather not.. but still, the overall package price isn't bad.

I do know friends here in Seattle who know people in SF who run small lodgings who could get me a great deal in certain neighborhoods (apparently a really good deal in the Castro.. $40 or less a night, and apparently "not in a bathhouse/crystal meth palace, either".... um... ookay), but the flight only prices are costing just as much as the flight+hotel package prices.. Hmmm.. will ponder more.

donut debonair (donut), Thursday, 10 March 2005 19:44 (twenty years ago)

here is where I recommend the functional and clean Grant Plaza hotel. $55 a night if you don't mind being in Chinatown.

Senior Executive/CEO (nordicskilla), Thursday, 10 March 2005 19:45 (twenty years ago)

is there a reason I should mind being in Chinatown? (I know it was kinda notorious in the 70s, but that's a long time ago now)

donut debonair (donut), Thursday, 10 March 2005 19:49 (twenty years ago)

I once had sex with a girl on a fire escape in Chinatown. I was on the bottom, and the non-slip iron grating cut into my ass. To this day I have a little fear that a waffle-pattern remains branded into my left cheek.

Remy (null) (x Jeremy), Thursday, 10 March 2005 19:51 (twenty years ago)

chinatown's fine, if a bit crowded and stinky.

4th and market (the mosser?) is a good neighborhood. you're pretty much a block away from union square. right next to the old navy and virgin megastore. i used to live 3blocks from there. dunno what the hotel is like, but it's not like you'll be spending lots of time besides sleeping there, right?

The JaXoN 5 (JasonD), Thursday, 10 March 2005 19:52 (twenty years ago)

Yeah, I was wondering what that was.

No, there's nothing wrong with being in Chinatown. Actually, it's great! I just wondered if you were looking to stay in a specific neighborhood.

xp

Senior Executive/CEO (nordicskilla), Thursday, 10 March 2005 19:53 (twenty years ago)

Grant Plaza is actually just inside the Chinatown Gate, so not too stinky.

Senior Executive/CEO (nordicskilla), Thursday, 10 March 2005 19:54 (twenty years ago)

http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P/B000063KMQ.02.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

the chinatown gate borders union square which is about as clean and sanitary as SF gets (which i guess doubles as a neighborhood recommendation for adam!).

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 10 March 2005 21:07 (twenty years ago)

I was on the fence about going to see MIA but if it's turning into a donut fap I'm certainly in...

milton parker (Jon L), Thursday, 10 March 2005 21:54 (twenty years ago)

does this mean we are going to the cheesesteak place?

Babaganoush (nordicskilla), Thursday, 10 March 2005 21:55 (twenty years ago)

We could. It's only right across the street.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 10 March 2005 21:59 (twenty years ago)

DB can get a seitan sandwich too (which I've never eaten) as I believe he is a veganitarian.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 10 March 2005 22:00 (twenty years ago)

Is Donut a vegetarian, though?

xp!!

Milo Smiley (nordicskilla), Thursday, 10 March 2005 22:01 (twenty years ago)

note thought that they grill their seitan on the same grill as the meat, and the fries are cooked in chicken fat, or so the guy who worked there told me. I eat it anyway.

kyle (akmonday), Thursday, 10 March 2005 23:54 (twenty years ago)

Chicken fat, ymm!

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 10 March 2005 23:55 (twenty years ago)

Donut is indeed a vegetarian so you filthy omnivores need to get it together.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 10 March 2005 23:58 (twenty years ago)

Send him to Herbivore.

Michael White (Hereward), Friday, 11 March 2005 00:00 (twenty years ago)

Isn't there some apparently amazing vegetarian place in Hayes Valley?

Milo Smiley (nordicskilla), Friday, 11 March 2005 00:01 (twenty years ago)

Is there? Where?

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Friday, 11 March 2005 00:02 (twenty years ago)

Actually, it's not in Hayes Valley it's closer to Civic Center. And it's not vegetarian at all. Jardiniere.

Milo Smiley (nordicskilla), Friday, 11 March 2005 00:04 (twenty years ago)

The name made me think it might be vegetarian.

Milo Smiley (nordicskilla), Friday, 11 March 2005 00:04 (twenty years ago)

never mind.

let's go to club ez5

Milo Smiley (nordicskilla), Friday, 11 March 2005 00:04 (twenty years ago)

No, we are going to M.I.A.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Friday, 11 March 2005 00:08 (twenty years ago)

i saw jeffy spin at ez5 a long time ago.

gygax! (gygax!), Friday, 11 March 2005 00:11 (twenty years ago)

heribivore is fine vegetarian food and there is one right by the independent conveniently.

kyle (akmonday), Friday, 11 March 2005 00:23 (twenty years ago)

Isn't there some apparently amazing vegetarian place in Hayes Valley? Actually, it's not in Hayes Valley it's closer to Civic Center. And it's not vegetarian at all. Jardiniere.

oh, since you answered your own question, i was gonna say Millenium (downtown - which is the only vegitarian restaurant i've been to and enjoyed) and Ananda Fuara (market & like 11th? - which i didn't really enjoy)

The JaXoN 5 (JasonD), Friday, 11 March 2005 00:32 (twenty years ago)

herbivore is DISGUSTING!

The JaXoN 5 (JasonD), Friday, 11 March 2005 00:33 (twenty years ago)

I ORDERED BOTH MY M.I.A. AND MY BOREDOMS TICKETS. I WILL NOT BITCH OUT!!

The JaXoN 5 (JasonD), Friday, 11 March 2005 00:33 (twenty years ago)

"heribivore is fine vegetarian food and there is one right by the independent conveniently."

Unfortunately for humans who like flavor with their meals. We could always go to the Eritrean place there. They have a great vegetarian dinner.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Friday, 11 March 2005 00:41 (twenty years ago)

Alright my byooteefull beecheez:

Found a cheap enough flight...

ARRIVING Monday, March 14th via Southwurst Hairlinez:
SeaTac (SEA) 5:40pm --> Oakland (OAK) 7:40pm

LEAVING Thursday, March 17th also via Sawthworst Harewhinez:
Oakland (OAK) 1:50pm --> SeaTac (SEA) 3:50pm

and I bought my ticket for M.I.A./Diplo and DJ Jefferificaroni for March 16th.

IT IS ON!

For those of you who can't/won't make it to the M.I.A. show, I'd love to hang out at a neighboring hang-out/bar/cafe/playground for FAPing purposes... (6:30pmish?)

donut debonair (donut), Friday, 11 March 2005 00:52 (twenty years ago)

Millenium is great, and I can say that as a serious carnivore.

Should we meet at the Madrone Lounge?

Michael White (Hereward), Friday, 11 March 2005 00:52 (twenty years ago)

and yes, Alex is right. I am a veganitarian.

donut debonair (donut), Friday, 11 March 2005 00:53 (twenty years ago)

Matos and the Seattle Crüe, I expect to hear enthusiasm/warnings from the M.I.A./Diplo show I'm assuming you will see in Seattle the night before!

donut debonair (donut), Friday, 11 March 2005 00:55 (twenty years ago)

(and I ended up choosing the Travelodge on Market/Valencia near the Gough/Haight/Otis intersection)

donut debonair (donut), Friday, 11 March 2005 00:59 (twenty years ago)

Is Herbivore that place in the Mission near Aquarius? I've eaten there before. If so, it was indeed underwhelming, though disgusting would be too harsh a word... or maybe I ordered the right thing. Anyway, if Millennium or the Madrone Lounge rocks, I trust you guys. I'm down..

donut debonair (donut), Friday, 11 March 2005 01:01 (twenty years ago)

there are two Herbivores. one near the Independent and one by Aquarius.

donut, you're staying like two blocks from Alex and one block from Grooves Record Store.

The JaXoN 5 (JasonD), Friday, 11 March 2005 01:05 (twenty years ago)

I hope Alex knows that I like to BLOW SHIT UP OUT MY MOTEL WINDOW AT NIGHT WITH MY SUPERPORTACANNON, YEEHAW!

donut debonair (donut), Friday, 11 March 2005 01:14 (twenty years ago)

Milo Smiley (nordicskilla), Friday, 11 March 2005 02:28 (twenty years ago)

Isn't Eritrean like...Ethiopian?

Where would MIA eat if she lived in the Lower Haight?

Milo Smiley (nordicskilla), Friday, 11 March 2005 02:29 (twenty years ago)

Is there any consensus on what / where there's happening for those of us too poor to afford tickets to shit?

Remy (null) (x Jeremy), Friday, 11 March 2005 02:30 (twenty years ago)

well, that might be me...

Milo Smiley (nordicskilla), Friday, 11 March 2005 02:31 (twenty years ago)

...we could ride the entire length of the Bart line cos I get commuter checks from work!

Milo Smiley (nordicskilla), Friday, 11 March 2005 02:34 (twenty years ago)

We'll go to Pleasanton, Fruitvale, Millbrae...it will be fucking NUTS.

Milo Smiley (nordicskilla), Friday, 11 March 2005 02:34 (twenty years ago)

I was suggesting a pre-FAP somewhere nearby The Independent, where M.I.A. is playing, on Wednesday evening, before doors open, at a nearby place.

Is the Axum Cafe (Ethiopian place) still off Divisidero and Haight? I'm totally into Ethiopian food.. and they have veggie options there.. also it's just blocks from the venue, if I'm not mistaken.

Thing is.. would there be a big pre-show crowd there?

donut debonair (donut), Friday, 11 March 2005 02:36 (twenty years ago)

Madrone is very close to The Independent,

We can eat Ethiopian food, if y'all are into that.

Milo Smiley (nordicskilla), Friday, 11 March 2005 03:05 (twenty years ago)

I am going out now...to see Kyle KICK OUT THE MOTHERFUCKING JAMS.

Milo Smiley (nordicskilla), Friday, 11 March 2005 03:08 (twenty years ago)

"Is the Axum Cafe (Ethiopian place) still off Divisidero and Haight? I'm totally into Ethiopian food.. and they have veggie options there.. also it's just blocks from the venue, if I'm not mistaken."

It is, but there is also an equally good place (Wazeema) even closer to the Independent.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Friday, 11 March 2005 03:18 (twenty years ago)

Is the Axum Cafe (Ethiopian place) still off Divisidero and Haight? I'm totally into Ethiopian food.. and they have veggie options there.. also it's just blocks from the venue, if I'm not mistaken.

very close: Axum is 2 blocks away (pierce & haight).

gygax! (gygax!), Friday, 11 March 2005 03:32 (twenty years ago)

Aye my memory. (it has been three years since I've been to Sf).

Well, maybe we can do Wazeema, and if for some reason it's too crowded, we can go to Axum?

donut debonair (donut), Friday, 11 March 2005 04:25 (twenty years ago)

Wazeema is good cuz they are also a bar with a happy hour. Although there are plenty of bars in the area if we wanted to do Axum too.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Friday, 11 March 2005 16:49 (twenty years ago)

Kyle served it last night, yo. He smacked it and worked it and sold it.

I took pictures, set my white balance to a blue light and was trying for the Loveless cover. Afterwards I told him " I have one photo where you look like a weird alien boychild". I think he looked pleased.

Milo Smiley (nordicskilla), Friday, 11 March 2005 17:38 (twenty years ago)

So, apparently the entire M.I.A. tour in the U.S. got cancelled?

So, what do we do on Wednesday night now?

donut debonair (donut), Sunday, 13 March 2005 08:45 (twenty years ago)

hang out with me!

Remy (null) (x Jeremy), Sunday, 13 March 2005 08:51 (twenty years ago)

Does anyone have a link to something confirming the cancellation? Cuz as I said on the other thread the Independent site seems to be operating under the assumption that it is still going on and sold out?

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Sunday, 13 March 2005 18:00 (twenty years ago)

Can't find anything. Where did you hear this, Donut?

We can all huddle together and listen to my iPod instead.

just adam (nordicskilla), Sunday, 13 March 2005 18:13 (twenty years ago)

Yeah I mean either way let's just meet up have dinner and get some drinks. Obv if the show is still going on we'll do that, if not we'll just have more drinks.

With what? I will ring ya tomorrow, Remy, once we hash out what we are doing on this thread during work hours.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 06:00 (twenty years ago)

With the show. Wasn't the show supposed to be tonight?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 06:03 (twenty years ago)

No, it was supposed to be tomorrow and apparently it is CANCELLED and will be *dreaded word* RESCHEDULED for an *another dreaded word* UNSPECIFIED date.

adam, i get my hair cut by this guy named Chris at PureBeauty on Haight. i really like his cuts even though he's a bit crazy. he started out at a Trimmers for 14$, but i think he's gone up to $25-35 (i think he gives me discounts because i've been going to him for so long).

The JaXoN 5 (JasonD), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 19:04 (twenty years ago)

I like Dalva well enough but Zeitgeist is more spacious and has cheaper drinks. Also I haven't heard Dalva's much-vaunted jukebox in a while and I'm relatively sure what I'll hear at Zeitgeist.

Michael White (Hereward), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 19:06 (twenty years ago)

I'm hoping it's speed metal versions of Heino.

Michael White (Hereward), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 19:10 (twenty years ago)

The Casanova's jukebox is a trillion times better than Dalva's.

The Edinburgh Castle's is getting better, I haven't been to the Crow Bar lately but they had a great one as well.

gygax! (gygax!), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 19:19 (twenty years ago)

Crowbar's OK. How was your scrabble game, gygax?

Michael White (Hereward), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 19:20 (twenty years ago)

Excellent, 455 two nights ago... and a 225 last night in a 4 player game.

gygax! (gygax!), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 19:25 (twenty years ago)

ooh, i neglect to mention this was against less fanatical players so arcane/obscure words are frowned upon.

gygax! (gygax!), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 19:27 (twenty years ago)

sonuvabitch I have rehearsal tonight, so I must miss this, much as I love Zeitgeist (I haven't been to Dalva in 5 years at least - the best thing about it was always the back room. terrible DJs tho, and too many bridge-and-tunnelers.)

Shakey Mo Collier, Wednesday, 16 March 2005 19:28 (twenty years ago)

so arcane/obscure words are frowned upon

Don't you use an agreed upon dictionary?

Michael White (Hereward), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 19:29 (twenty years ago)

Scrabble dictionaries can vary widely...

Shakey Mo Collier, Wednesday, 16 March 2005 19:30 (twenty years ago)

I really do NOT like Scrabble

just adam (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 19:34 (twenty years ago)

No, last night was a friendly game for people who don't really play very seriously so we keep it to words in common usage that you can provide a reasonable definition for.

There is only one scrabble dictionary

gygax! (gygax!), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 19:35 (twenty years ago)

I'm just average at Scrabble. My parents and their friends are super good. Usually 2+ seven letter words a game with those bastards.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 19:37 (twenty years ago)

I played at that dinner party last week. I scored 60

just adam (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 19:38 (twenty years ago)

I beat my ex-wife and her mother once at Scrabble...IN FRENCH. This is the most conspicuous achievement of my entire life.

Michael White (Hereward), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 19:41 (twenty years ago)

Haha! I won Trivial Pursuit in Norwegian! I was playing a giant Norewgian family of several persons in Hardangervidda, Norway.

Michael White (Hereward), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 19:49 (twenty years ago)

They shot The Empire Strikes Back there. Or was it Return of the Jedi? The "Hoff" snow scenes.

Does France have it's own different Scrabble with crazy accented vowels?

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 19:57 (twenty years ago)

Does France have it's own different Scrabble with crazy accented vowels?

French letters aren't accented in upper case.

kyle (akmonday), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 20:33 (twenty years ago)

God, those were good times. ;-)

Michael White (Hereward), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 20:49 (twenty years ago)

Hey guys.. I've been busy

Zeitgeist at 6pmish?

Where is exactly in the Mission?

Someone email me at d o n u t b i z i t c h (at) h o t m a i l (dot) c o m

Or someone email Ned if you have his real email address and get my phone number that way (Ned, hope you don't mind). If Ned gets a trusted soul via e-mail, Ned, email that person my phone number, because I know you know it off the top of your head, thanks to that handy mnenomic!

OK, gotta go. I'll be in Amoeba in about 10 minutes!

donut debonair (donut), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 20:55 (twenty years ago)

Or someone email Ned if you have his real email address and get my phone number that way (Ned, hope you don't mind)

My real e-mail address? ned@kuci.org has always been my real e-mail address! (And no, I don't mind.)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 20:56 (twenty years ago)

Woah, Zeitgeist is, like, feet away from where I'm staying.

Good choice, Alex! :D :D :-o

donut debonair (donut), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 20:57 (twenty years ago)

Alright I just called Remy and let him know where and when.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 21:29 (twenty years ago)

Hey, I'm at Metreon killling time. What's best way to get to Zeitgeist?

Remy (null) (x Jeremy), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 23:25 (twenty years ago)

Walk down Mission until you get to Valencia then make a left. It's on the left.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 23:27 (twenty years ago)

Remy, I'm one block from you.

MVP (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 23:27 (twenty years ago)

but I don't get off work for another hour or so.

I want a Zeitgeist burger.

MVP (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 23:27 (twenty years ago)

i'm getting a zeitgiest burger too! seriously some of the best in the city. i just had a 1/3 on saturday after a big dinner.

jeremey, be warned (you are from LA and nobody walks in LA), that walk is about a mile or two). if you want a bus route, let us know

The JaXoN 5 (JasonD), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 23:31 (twenty years ago)

sorry for the extra "e" in your name. it looks really weird

The JaXoN 5 (JasonD), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 23:32 (twenty years ago)

well he could just catch the 14 Mission bus heading west and save himself the walk...?

Shakey Mo Collier, Wednesday, 16 March 2005 23:33 (twenty years ago)

Oh yeah (I forgot about the withered legs of LA folx._ If you want to take a bus just hop the Mission. Get off at Van Ness and then walk to Valencia and take a left. I am SOOOOO getting a Zeitgeist burger. Yummy.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 23:35 (twenty years ago)

poor DB will be ill from all the carnage. i may be late! save me a burger.

gygax! (gygax!), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 23:36 (twenty years ago)

We might miss each other, then. Maybe we just aren't to be.

MVP (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 23:37 (twenty years ago)

let's stop talking about the burgers, I can't stand the wait.

MVP (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 23:38 (twenty years ago)

shakey, did you get my email about the Alice Coltrane rekkerd?

The JaXoN 5 (JasonD), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 23:39 (twenty years ago)

What time are you getting off work, Adam?

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 23:39 (twenty years ago)

5

MVP (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 23:39 (twenty years ago)

I'll probably get the bus. You guys are getting down around 6:00? Also, the stupid Metreon free WiFi won't let me access ILE through any normal routes, as it contains 'adult content.'

Remy (null) (x Jeremy), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 23:41 (twenty years ago)

I get off work at 5:30-ish. I'll probably drop stuff off at home and then head there (fuck I want a burger NOW haha.)

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 23:44 (twenty years ago)

heh, if they have veggie options, then it's cool. i'm at rockin' java right now... about to walk east on haight, maybe hit grooves if I had time, then walk south of Valencia from there.

donut debonair (donut), Thursday, 17 March 2005 00:02 (twenty years ago)

WORD EM UP!

The JaXoN 5 (JasonD), Thursday, 17 March 2005 00:24 (twenty years ago)

WTF is wrong with people on eBay? Doesn't seeing that the ULTRA ULTRA ULTRA rare CD that you've been looking for for ages is popping up time and gain SEALED in MINT condition indicate that perhaps it has been REISSUED and you might want to stop bidding OOP impossibly high amounts on it? $202.50 for a CD that is listing at $12.98 is freakin' insane.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 17 March 2005 00:28 (twenty years ago)

That reminds me, I have so much stuff to list on Ebay.

MVP (nordicskilla), Thursday, 17 March 2005 00:32 (twenty years ago)

I am jealous of you all but no matter, I don't hate you. Too much. *cries*

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 17 March 2005 00:33 (twenty years ago)

which cd is that, now?

kyle (akmonday), Thursday, 17 March 2005 00:33 (twenty years ago)

Just Ice's Back to the Old Skool

Harooooo! Thx, guyz. (I got back to Berkeley and got drunk on Ouzo).

Remy (null) (x Jeremy), Thursday, 17 March 2005 08:05 (twenty years ago)

I remember when I walking home the name of the band of models on Imago! The Baby Animals! Take that alchohol induced brain damage!

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 17 March 2005 16:18 (twenty years ago)

I remembered something too w/r/t early Slint mash-ups:

David Holmes - "Don't Die Just Yet" (Good Morning, Mogwai mix) from 1997 or 1998.

gygax! (gygax!), Thursday, 17 March 2005 16:31 (twenty years ago)

I feel bad that the last thing I said to Donut was "you're much shorter than I expected!".

VIC MACKEY (nordicskilla), Thursday, 17 March 2005 16:32 (twenty years ago)

You're so cruel, Adam.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 17 March 2005 16:33 (twenty years ago)

how short is he?

kyle (akmonday), Thursday, 17 March 2005 16:35 (twenty years ago)

not as short as me

VIC MACKEY (nordicskilla), Thursday, 17 March 2005 16:36 (twenty years ago)

It must have been the sparks (not the river of gin & tonic) which accounts for this morning's crapulence.

M. White, Thursday, 17 March 2005 16:37 (twenty years ago)

And shorter than me and Dan.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 17 March 2005 16:38 (twenty years ago)

What saddens me is that we haven't listened to Bubba SPARXXX and drank Sparks yet. It must be done.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 17 March 2005 16:38 (twenty years ago)

Also "M White" made this woman touch my nipple.

VIC MACKEY (nordicskilla), Thursday, 17 March 2005 16:39 (twenty years ago)

and then hit me.

VIC MACKEY (nordicskilla), Thursday, 17 March 2005 16:39 (twenty years ago)

You ignore the other Sparks at your peril. Give in to the danceable stuff, Alex, you know you want to. ;-) (Hey, nick K loved 'em!)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 17 March 2005 16:39 (twenty years ago)

Hahaha that nipple thing was hysterical. That lady was into you Adam!

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 17 March 2005 16:40 (twenty years ago)

...i see

VIC MACKEY (nordicskilla), Thursday, 17 March 2005 16:41 (twenty years ago)

Of course, then she was horrified when she found out you were married so good on her too.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 17 March 2005 16:42 (twenty years ago)

Horrified that she hadn't snagged you first

M. White, Thursday, 17 March 2005 16:43 (twenty years ago)

Wrangler?

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 17 March 2005 16:45 (twenty years ago)

It's a dream job...

M. White (Miguelito), Thursday, 17 March 2005 17:05 (twenty years ago)

Wrangling Adam's nipples?

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 17 March 2005 17:06 (twenty years ago)

Since adam's are not connected to any real mammaries worth speaking of, I'd have to say no.

M. White (Miguelito), Thursday, 17 March 2005 17:30 (twenty years ago)

Adam likes grime, he has nipples = Adam like grimy nipples. Er.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 17 March 2005 17:35 (twenty years ago)

This conversation really understates how much fun we had last night.. I now know of Sparks thanks to AlexSF (courtesy of Ol' Milwaukee), a large can of caffeinated Malt Orange Red Bull Liquor which gave me a much needed waking up (but also a slight headache.. I blame Ol' Milwaukee, not you, Alex), and gygax! for the India Pale Ale (that somehow exactly offset both the waking up part and the headache) and the long chat we had afterwards.. and talking with JaXon, Remy, Adam, Michael, and Alex as well. and I'm not all offended by Adam's comment.. I'm offended by your squirming when Michael made me touch your nipple.. that's why I hit you. (I have disguises and can move large distances shiftily. I should have explained.)

Where were U Milton??? did you not know I was the s n u g g 1 3 z list guy back in the day? Ok, well I now understand if you meant to keep your distance, in that case. rAWFLE! Missed Drew too, but surely he was busy with something, and i plan to attend the EMP thingy anyway, soooo....

The JaXoN 5 (JasonD), Friday, 18 March 2005 02:47 (twenty years ago)

I saw him tonight J.

gygax! (gygax!), Friday, 18 March 2005 06:53 (twenty years ago)
