Because I'm spotty and bloated and my boobs are sore and I'm gonna cry and I just think we should have one, okay?

Rumpie, Tuesday, 15 November 2005 13:25 (twenty years ago)

You do realise that anything you post on this thread is going to be endlessly requoted by teenage boys (or boys with teenage mentalities) for the rest of time?

(I'm just saying. I think we should have had this thread a long time ago, but that's just me.)

Lady Totteringby-Gently (kate), Tuesday, 15 November 2005 13:29 (twenty years ago)

Let them - I'm ready to tear apart the first bugger that tries it.

(Once I've finished my tray of oven chips)

Rumpie, Tuesday, 15 November 2005 13:30 (twenty years ago)

you should rub their face in it

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 15 November 2005 13:32 (twenty years ago)

Throw used maxipads and tampons at them like L7 at Glasto, maybe?

Lady Totteringby-Gently (kate), Tuesday, 15 November 2005 13:33 (twenty years ago)

Or I could just sob until they feel guilty and skulk away in shame.

Rumpie, Tuesday, 15 November 2005 13:35 (twenty years ago)

That doesn't work. Better to rip their heads off (after you finish that kilo of chocolate).

I'm with ya, sistah, having just finished mine. And yes, this one was a gusher. I hate when they're really bloody. It's just like insult to injury.

Lady Totteringby-Gently (kate), Tuesday, 15 November 2005 13:37 (twenty years ago)

Exactly, having to heave oneself off the couch to extract and reinsert expensive sanitary products five, six times a day is NO FUN at all.

Rumpie, Tuesday, 15 November 2005 13:40 (twenty years ago)

Also, I hate when your boobs are so sore and swollen that when you take your bra off it's like BOOMPH! BOOMPH! two bags full of rocks falling against your chest.

heh, Tuesday, 15 November 2005 13:46 (twenty years ago)

I can't remember what it's like to have menstruation. Really strange. Except of course the other week when I bled a little. Naturally I panicked, not something I do when I have my period. ;-)

Is it weird to not menstrate for nine months? I mean, it's just one of those things that's as regular as clockwork in my life and I can't imagine skipping a month, let alone nine of them. I know that there are all kinds of other strange hormonal things that happen to you when you're pregnant, so not menstruating is probably the least of it.

I guess I'm just curious.

Much sympathy Rumpie. I hope you have hot water bottles and a good stock of comfort foods. xxxxx

Last month my period was so freakishly painful I had to spend two nights in hospital. And then when people asked why I was in hospital I had to say "um, period pain", which sounds feeble and embarrassing. So to a lot of people I just said I had a virus.

The annoying thing about periods, well one of them anyway, is it's just impossible to know whether yours are much worse than other women's or it just feels that way. I mean, I've had to go to hospital with it twice, so I guess that probably means mine are above averagely bad.

Yeah, periods are really horrible.

Cathy (Cathy), Tuesday, 15 November 2005 20:20 (twenty years ago)

does anyone know anything about whether these keeper things, or similar type products, work well or not?

http://keeper.com/

A. Immerman (A. Immerman), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 02:00 (twenty years ago)

Yes, it works really well! And you get to say "fuck you!" to all the companies charging stupid amounts for tampons and pads! (not to mention the bleach and the waste.) It takes a few periods to really get used to it (and I've known some people who've given up, but hey - have no fear, use pantyliners on heavy days though, at first) and it is more messy than tampons, yes, but it's not that big a deal. I've been using the keeper for about 7 years and now find tampons kind of weird and definitely not as good (especially when it comes to heavy days - tampons suck, keeper rules.)

rrrobyn (rrrobyn), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 02:29 (twenty years ago)

other people have talked about the keeper on here if you want to do a search.

It is really weird to not have a period for nine months, but it's also really great.

teeny (teeny), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 02:50 (twenty years ago)

I'm fucking with my hormones pretty badly, I'm the type who takes the pill but doesn't take 'the break' - thus staving off periods for a few months at a time. When I do take a break I beed worse than normal and all the other pains etc seem much more exaggerated.

I get a raging headache too. It's my own fault, I should really stop doing this to myself, who knows what kind of problems I'm storing up.

Rumpie, Wednesday, 16 November 2005 07:36 (twenty years ago)

Is it weird to not menstrate for nine months?

It is! Quite dangerous for your health. One should definitely see a doctor to check your hormones. A lot of athletes and people with an eating disorder skip their menstruation.

My pregnant colleague is jealous, she's not allowed to eat sweet things just now and I've been chomping on cookies all morning.

Why isn't she allowed? I eat sugar and I'm pregnant. My OBGYN is pretty casual about what I can and can not eat. Not too much sugar, salt and caffeine. No french cheese at all, that's the only thing he's strict about.

Nathalie is in Da Base II Dark (stevie nixed), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 08:31 (twenty years ago)

Is that because of a risk of food poisoning?

Trayce (trayce), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 08:33 (twenty years ago)

Lysteria or whatever is the dangerous one?

Trayce (trayce), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 08:33 (twenty years ago)

Yes, it's actually quite dangerous for pregnant and older people. Some claim you shouldn't eat feta either (because of lysteria). I didn't realize this until after eating copious amounts of feta. Listeria can show up after a couple of days or weeks. It's not dangerous for young people and adults though.

Nathalie is in Da Base II Dark (stevie nixed), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 08:36 (twenty years ago)

They found protein in her urine yesterday, she's to go back in for further testing tomorrow, in the meantime - no fat or sugar.

Rumpie, Wednesday, 16 November 2005 08:43 (twenty years ago)

No French cheese! Oh my god! I know that you shouldn't eat cheese while pregnant, but my god, that would be difficult. I tried to give up caffeine while pregnant, and I managed to get down to one can of coke from two pots of coffee a day, but my god, that was hard.

I know that if you lose a certain percent of your body fat, you stop menstrating - hence why athletes do. But supposedly lots of women on the pill just don't take the period week ones and go on just not menstrating at all. There's been some debate about whether or not that's healthy.

I found that taking a calcium supplement effectively ended 75% of serious period pain. It doesn't stop it entirely, but it makes me able to function on days I used to be lying in bed racked with pain.

Lady Totteringby-Gently (kate), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 08:48 (twenty years ago)

I read somewhere that less periods are better because the body expects to be preganant a lot more than modern women are... something about less chance of some cancers?

Trayce (trayce), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 08:54 (twenty years ago)

i was promised a pic of claire danes bah.

Theorry Henry (Enrique), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 09:10 (twenty years ago)

yeah, Trayce, that was the logic behind why it was supposedly *more* healthy to skip your periods on the pill.

Lady Totteringby-Gently (kate), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 09:11 (twenty years ago)

And it means sex sex sex at anytime of the month.

Hurrah!

Rumpie, Wednesday, 16 November 2005 09:19 (twenty years ago)

What is this sex thing of which you speak? :-P

Lady Totteringby-Gently (kate), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 09:22 (twenty years ago)

They found protein in her urine yesterday, she's to go back in for further testing tomorrow, in the meantime - no fat or sugar.

Oh dear! That's bad news. Hopefully she doesn't have any problems. My mum had a *pregnancy kidney*. She didn't realize how dangerous this was - she was 19 yrs old and it was the 70s - so she didn't think nothing of eating minced (raw!) meat and white bread. When she came back to the hospital and the nurses heard what she had done, she was surprised to see the nurses very angry. hah!

Kate, I already gave up caffeine before I became pregnant. As we were trying to conceive, I wanted to give caffeine and nicotine. :-) A little bit of caffeine (after three months) isn't that bad though. The worst was having to give up green tea: I drank it like a maniac beforehand and now I don't have anything to replace it with. I sometimes forget to drink which is of course bad. :-(

Nathalie is in Da Base II Dark (stevie nixed), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 09:35 (twenty years ago)

Not having periods is the best thing evah!
Although Rumpie, you have my sympathies. I used to headaches the week before & the week during, which was totally sucky. Like you I always used to carry on taking my pill. Although I haven't been on the pill for ages now, it's odd when your period just turns up!

Panther Pink (Pinkpanther), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 09:47 (twenty years ago)

I don't think I could get used to that again, man it's been years and years since I had a normal cycle. Mr R said he'd start wearing condoms to allow me to come off the pill, but I'm still weighing up the pros and cons of both.

Condoms suck.

Rumpie, Wednesday, 16 November 2005 09:53 (twenty years ago)

Condoms do indeed suck & we've been having to deal with it since the beginning of the year, but I had to come off of the pill because of the headaches. I'd been on it since I was 16 so that was a total of 12 years! Of course, you always run the risk & don't use condoms sometimes, so I guess it boils down to whether or not you want to risk having a baby! ;-)

Panther Pink (Pinkpanther), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 09:56 (twenty years ago)

(wo)Man, I thought this was the menstration thread, not the talk about contraception and pregnancy thread!

I want gushes of blood and cramps (wo)man! Not condoms.

Lady Totteringby-Gently (kate), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 09:59 (twenty years ago)

My mum claims she had her menstruation on the *minute*. *ROFL*.

Nathalie is in Da Base II Dark (stevie nixed), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 10:10 (twenty years ago)

Er Kate, I think you'll find it's all linked one way & another.

Panther Pink (Pinkpanther), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 10:12 (twenty years ago)

Yeah, but only coz it happens in the same AREA heh heh, I said area, pure filth, etc.

Shall I be really gross? What's the largest blood clot you've ever ahd during a period?

Lady Totteringby-Gently (kate), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 10:15 (twenty years ago)

Sorry, sorry, I could so very easily be sidetracked onto conception here!

Last night my cramps were so bad I was emploting 'breathing techniques' to get through them.

Hmmm, I wonder if coping well with menstrual cramps is good practise for contractions?

Rumpie, Wednesday, 16 November 2005 10:16 (twenty years ago)

Can't you take some meds for the cramps?

Have you noticed how menstruation synchronizes when you're working/living with several women?

Nathalie is in Da Base II Dark (stevie nixed), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 10:17 (twenty years ago)

Like I said, take calcium, Rumpie! You have to take a supplement all the time, but in general calcium supplements are good for females.

(I find that hot water bottles and also rubbing slow circles on your thighs are actually quite good for cramp distraction.)

Yes, Nath, it's hormonal, we all synch up. Except when you're on the pill. Or living with someone on the pill. The worst situation I ever had, though, was living with two women who were both on the pill, but on different cycles. My menstral cycle got pulled all over the place. Bah. I nearly had three periods in one month.

Lady Totteringby-Gently (kate), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 10:19 (twenty years ago)

Gross Kate? Well I don't know about giant clots, but I've been known to saturate my tampon so thoroughly that on sitting on the toilet it comes out itself.

Howzat?

Rumpie, Wednesday, 16 November 2005 10:21 (twenty years ago)

Rubbing the thighs? What about rubbing a mans thighs?

I think the worst is over.

Notice how your sweat smells different when your on the blob? Or is that just me?

Rumpie, Wednesday, 16 November 2005 10:23 (twenty years ago)

Aw, man, that is quite full on gush.

This is the most DISGUSTING thing I've ever posted on ILX so if you are easily offended or if there are any boys reading you might want to stop now...

The other day in the shower, I passed a clot so huge it wouldn't go down the drain and I had to fish it out! It was about the length of my middle finger and as thick as my thumb! It was GROSS! That, truly, is the most unacceptible thing to ever come out of my body.

Now aren't you glad I shared that?

Lady Totteringby-Gently (kate), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 10:25 (twenty years ago)

I am actually sniggering with childish delight at how icky and gross that post is.

Lady Totteringby-Gently (kate), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 10:25 (twenty years ago)

x-post, no, Rump. You kind of lie down and trace circles on the tops of your thighs with your thumbs. It's very relaxing and does actually help distract you from cramps. Also, foot rubbing helps, but it's nicer if you can get someone else to do it for you.

Lady Totteringby-Gently (kate), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 10:27 (twenty years ago)

It was about the length of my middle finger and as thick as my thumb! It was GROSS!

That was probably a foetus.

Rumpie, Wednesday, 16 November 2005 10:57 (twenty years ago)

With an old toothbrush, no less!

(Does that make it a holy relic now?)

Lady Totteringby-Gently (kate), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 10:59 (twenty years ago)

Day one (and sometimes two) of my period can be the worst. I'm on the pill so it's regular, shorter and lighter compared to when I'm not on the pill... but MAN, the hormones, backache and what feels like a vicegrip around my cervix just slay me for those first couple of days.

I was so moody and tearful all day Monday, and coped with work by hiding at my desk and giving people evil glares so they wouldn't ask me to do anything. (I work at a charity and with all women, so it's pretty easy going and definitely understanding around stuff like that)

I forgot to take my ibuprofen home, so in desperation I had a hot bath and then some cocodomol that was leftover from the bf's wisdom teeth op. Whooooeee!

moody madam, Wednesday, 16 November 2005 14:05 (twenty years ago)

I had horrid huge clots for ages, i'd feel them as i was walking around. For 10 years my periods, although painful, were regular as clockwork. Since 1997 they've been heavy, erratic and prolonged - at one stage i was bleeding heavilly for 4 months on the trot. I was prescribed norithisterone to stop the bleeding but they had pretty horrid side effects such as depression and weight gain.

I got a mirena IUS fitted in April 2004 and it's give me a new lease of life. I've settled back into a monthly cycle and the blood loss is tiny, just spotting really. Still get bloating and sore boobs though.

leigh (leigh), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 14:07 (twenty years ago)

Just for the record (since I couldn't see this thread all yesterday), the Keeper has certain drawbacks but nothing like enough to cancel out its usefulness. Highly recommend. Almost positive I've posted more about it on another thread.

Laurel (Laurel), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 15:30 (twenty years ago)

You tried to poke our Lord down the PLUGHOLE????

Ah, now that really is funny.

The thing I hate most about Aunt Flo's visit is the sore boobs beforehand. Given that I am an H cup, yes that's right, you can imagine the horror this causes. Kate's description upthread is fairly accurate.

Also, does anyone else's period stop in the middle for 24 hours or so and then start again? I find this most strange.

accentmonkey (accentmonkey), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 20:20 (twenty years ago)

This thread just made me realize why I've come out of the woodwork to post on a thread about being snobby about things... bleah, hormones.

H cup! ow.

rrrobyn (rrrobyn), Wednesday, 16 November 2005 20:39 (twenty years ago)

Ugh, Ive found out that menopause runs early in my family, Yay! And in the years leading up to it, your periods get more painful and heavy. Im not on the pill anymore so maybe that adds to it but DAMN my cramps are so bad these days, and its so heavy :/ All done within 3 days tho so thats sommat.

estela (estela), Thursday, 17 November 2005 08:44 (twenty years ago)

A free pass? You mean a skipped period? God thats never happened to me outside of controlled hormonal pill thingys.

Trayce (trayce), Thursday, 17 November 2005 09:04 (twenty years ago)

i meant no trouble

estela (estela), Thursday, 17 November 2005 10:00 (twenty years ago)

Ha ha ha, yes, I do actually think this thread is very funny.

And yes, I also get the "stop for a bit" but not in the middle, towards the end. In fact, it'll flow and gush normally for a few days, then stop - right to the point I think it's over and the moment I don't wear a pad, GUUUUUUSH there comes the giant clot and another day's flow. OK, I am exaggerating for comedic effect but yet. It's like Indian summer, but with blood.

Tweed as F*ck (kate), Thursday, 17 November 2005 11:09 (twenty years ago)

When I was a teenager I couldn't always interpret the warning signs. Flying into a rage over the slightest comment? Of course, I always do that. Feeling like I needed the loo a lot, what of it? Oh, right, here's the blood in the middle of the community centre disco. Great. But nowadays the sore boobs and the crying at EastEnders tell me it's time to get the knackered knickers and the hot water bottle out in preparation for the coming storm.

accentmonkey (accentmonkey), Thursday, 17 November 2005 11:52 (twenty years ago)

ha ha, the "knackered knickers"! We used to call them "ragwear" in high school.

Tweed as F*ck (kate), Thursday, 17 November 2005 11:53 (twenty years ago)

Just the big ol' safe period pants.

Yeah, I wasn't always prepared either, and before I discovered the pill at 16 I had a few 'leakages' in the night. Imagine sleeping through the saturation of a Night Time pad. The shame.

Hi, my name's Dave Foley, and, uh, something you might not know about me is that .. I have a good attitude towards menstruation. That's right, I'm the guy! The guy with a good attitude towards menstruation!

Oh, I know a lot of men are made uncomfortable by this monthly miracle. But not me. No, I embrace it. Embrace it the way the way some men embrace the weekend! Why I anticipate it the way a child anticipates Christmas!

Did you know that, uh, in alot of native Indian cultures, menstruating woman were forced to leave the village, less they're *powerfull* magic should overwhelm the Shaman? If I were Shaman, I wouldn't be so competitive. I'd be more open and giving. I'd be a shaman with... a good attitude towards menstruation!

The Keeper is fucking kickass. They were originally going to call it the Liberty Bell! I would be embarrassed to buy something called the Mooncup. If you draw down the moon, make sure to put it back!

The key to removal is popping the vacuum seal so you don't feel like you're suctioning out your abdomen. ouch.

Depending on how far in it sits, I can see where that mightn't be the most fun thing in the world to insert/remove whilst the Redcoats are debarking.

Sam: Screwed and Chopped (Molly Jones), Tuesday, 19 September 2006 15:32 (nineteen years ago)

the keeper should sit kinda low - it's not like a diaphragm in that regard. haha, sometimes the seal is surprisingly strong...

i think women were using sea sponges a lot time ago (and still do) - i think there were other rubber cups but nothing quite as reliable as the keeper - i mean, the cups my mom has talked about were messy, no seal.

i kind of don't want to know what the creatures are. they are creatures and they are part of the flow.

hahaha, i love that kith skit

Abbott (Abbott), Tuesday, 19 September 2006 15:34 (nineteen years ago)

Re TSS; Yeah, because moist, absorbent things like tampons & sponges give the bacteria a place to live. Keepers are made of gum rubber, totally sterilizable.

Sea sponges are okay, but you have to make sure they NEVER get too full...because if you bear down to sneeze or laugh or etc you can squeeze them inadvertently. And then bad things happen.

Actually there's nothing to worry about, if you don't mind the hormones you can do indefinitely without a period. Blah blah I'm positive there's another thread about that somewhere, because I posted to it.

I am laughing at all this - and must add this information: once you have had a baby, killer cramps are much less bad (for most women). I've had only one month in the past 8 years when I was in enough pain to not only take something but actually go lie down (of course I thought, WTF, I had BABIES, I should be done with this.)

xxxxpost - regarding taking the Pill and the cancer question. The Pill suppresses ovulation and the less you ovulate, the less your risk of ovarian cancer. Ovarian cancer is genetic in my family and absolutely a killer (partly because it is really hard to detect). Other things you can do to ovulate less: get pregnant, breastfeed for a long time (which also suppresses ovulation).

okay, but how close to mimicking being pregnant or breastfeeding does taking the pill come? i understand the logic though - i was on the pill for a looong time and then turned 30, was feeling low a lot (though that could be chalked up to other factors obv) and got a bit freaked and went off. having no periods would rock, i'll admit, even though i'm a moon-spirit-astro-squeeing hippie sometimes.

rrrobyn, the situation (rrrobyn), Tuesday, 19 September 2006 16:32 (nineteen years ago)

I've been on low-hormone pills for like five years (ovarian cysts) and I've really never had any sort of problem with pregnancy-like feelings/behaviors. A little nausea in the morning and breast tenderness when you start out, MAYBE slows up your metabolism a little, but that's about it. I've never been warned about any emotional issues (which would be crucial considering family/personal history) from the pill. They also make nightmare periods less horrifying. They really get mad if you don't quit cigs though. :/

Jessie the Monster (scarymonsterrr), Tuesday, 19 September 2006 16:38 (nineteen years ago)

It wasn't a walk in the park but she's acclimated well, I think. It's been a while now. I think it bothered her for about a week in decreasing intensity.

M. White (Miguelito), Tuesday, 19 September 2006 16:40 (nineteen years ago)

The Pill comes closer (if I'm remembering right, it stops ovulation and induces a pseudo-pregnancy hormonal state), but the bottom line is less ovulation. Breastfeedings effects - as I understand them - are somewhat different, but still, I nursed for a long time and I didn't have a period for 14 months after each kid. All that being said, I think that ovulation itself has other positive effects that I would miss if it didn't happen at all, so no more Pill for me (and god forbid on the pregnancy and nursing).

I admit to being clueless about the effects of taking the Pill continually - partly because I never did that (possibly people did this during the era when I was on the Pill, but I sure didn't know about it). However, if I'm recalling correctly, those 7 pills are basically sugar pills - placekeepers to keep you from forgetting to start again 7 days later. I'm not sure the long-term effects of hormonally inducing yourself to not have periods at all (if there are any) are known. (Now I have something new to quiz my gynecologist on!)

Young Fresh Danny D (Dan Perry), Tuesday, 19 September 2006 17:16 (nineteen years ago)

there is truly no difference to your body whether you take constant pills or pills + sugar pills for 7 days. Your uterus could give a shit. One of the main reasons there are the little sugar pills (or iron as some usefully have) to begin with is the original marketers of the pill didn't think women would use a product that stopped their period. IT'S MARKETING!

now if you're worried about the effects of horomonal pills on your body, period, well that's a different argument.

Sam: Screwed and Chopped (Molly Jones), Tuesday, 19 September 2006 17:17 (nineteen years ago)

Since no one's reading the other thread:

"Incidentally, there's absolutely no reason to have periods if you don't want to and if your doc isn't supportive, you should probably do some reading up on your own and maybe look for a new doctor. One place to start is the book Take Control of Your Period -- I know the title is totally cheesy but it's got the info you need (sorry, it's from a US publisher but I'm sure there's some UK equivalent). Historically there were all kinds of ideas about periods: that it was unnatural to suppress them completely because it was a woman's intended lot in life to have a menstrual cycle, or that women even PREFERRED to have them as proof that they hadn't gotten pregnant in the last month...so the original versions of the pill were designed to incorporate periods for mostly irrational/emotional reasons. Which is fine, if you don't suffer severe PMS or ovarian cysts or endometriosis or any number of other difficulties. But if it's easier for you not to have a period for whatever reason, that's up to you."

Ladies, I didn't realize there was such a long post-partum hiatus in menstruation. Does anybody know much of it is the pregnancy/child birth itself and how much is the lactation?

M. White (Miguelito), Thursday, 21 September 2006 14:26 (nineteen years ago)

If you aren't breastfeeding, I think you should expect to get your period back after a few weeks (and of course, bleeding like mad after childbirth). It is the lactating that works to suppress ovulation and thus causes lack of periods. Lactation also decreases the likelihood of another pregnancy for this reason, but I wouldn't count on it for birth control.

Sara R-C (Sara R-C), Thursday, 21 September 2006 14:30 (nineteen years ago)

OK, that's what I had thought. I misread y'all above and thought that regardless of lactation there was a long hiatus.

Jagger, with all due offense intended, but are you fucking stupid or just an idiot?

Women menstrate. Get over it.

If you don't want to read about menstration, then it might help NOT TO FUCKING OPEN THREADS ENTITLED MENSTRUAL CONSOLATION.

Now fucking grow up and piss off.

Good thing LJ called someone out for internet discussion of personal matters, this is a problem greatly underreported. If only our congressmen understood the need for greater funding to study the ongoing phenomenon.

lol i actually purposefully looked up this thread out of a sense of duty to ILTMI, and my horror is largely feigned

still, some impressively gross material here even bearing the subject-matter in mind

J4gger Dynamic Pentangle (Just got offed), Tuesday, 30 September 2008 16:26 (seventeen years ago)

Louis, I don't like to get at you, but I think that you, Mr "Poppage", are the last person here who should be getting at anyone about TMI, so STFU and stop digging, eh?

The Plastic Fork (Pashmina), Tuesday, 30 September 2008 16:27 (seventeen years ago)

I am actually sniggering with childish delight at how icky and gross that post is.

ARRHGHRRHGRHHH wtf

and what, Tuesday, 30 September 2008 16:29 (seventeen years ago)

why did i read it

and what, Tuesday, 30 September 2008 16:29 (seventeen years ago)

You want to have a lark, go and play with your LBZC.

Kate And The King (Masonic Boom), Tuesday, 30 September 2008 16:30 (seventeen years ago)

You Have Been Yellow Carded By a Moderator: women menstruate. get over it and grow the fuck up.

excuse me, but i'm well over it. just that now ILTMI exists, i remembered that a particularly striking example of it existed in the annals, and felt a duty to bump it. this is not "ew GROSS how could you", it's "haha lol TMI, this is a prototype for the glory we see today"

J4gger Dynamic Pentangle (Just got offed), Tuesday, 30 September 2008 16:35 (seventeen years ago)

Shut up.

Vampire romances depend on me (Laurel), Tuesday, 30 September 2008 16:37 (seventeen years ago)

i mean once again you've all butthurtedly misinterpreted the extent to which i bear any sort of malice to fellow ILXors

J4gger Dynamic Pentangle (Just got offed), Tuesday, 30 September 2008 16:40 (seventeen years ago)

seriously, are you autistic or something?

caek, Tuesday, 30 September 2008 16:43 (seventeen years ago)

Your malice is not what you should be worrying about here, amirite?

Radiant Flowering Crab (Rock Hardy), Tuesday, 30 September 2008 16:44 (seventeen years ago)

Louis, it's just that every time you "explain" nobody's any closer to clarity, including you.

jane hussein lane (suzy), Tuesday, 30 September 2008 16:48 (seventeen years ago)

it's not just that.

caek, Tuesday, 30 September 2008 16:48 (seventeen years ago)

what i'm worrying about is the implication i somehow stumbled across a thread that hadn't been revived in two years, and reacted with horror to the contents within

rather than committed a bit of topical gershyism while bored at home

i mean even kate sniggered at how gross that post was, surely we can too, in the name of ILX lolz

fuck this

and fuck you caek, repeatedly, with some sort of hairbrush

hey louis heres a protip: next time someone is mad at you, instead of defending yourself and calling that person "butthurt," try just saying "whoops sorry" and then never posting on that thread again
