I love the marketplace listings from independent shops; you can find things brand new for stupid cheap if you dig around a little. None of those CDs cost more than $6.50.

Here's something I don't get, so please share with me anything I might be missing--why do some sellers send CDs media mail for Amazon Marketplace?
It's the minimum required by Amazon, but that's because the category includes books, and it is indeed much cheaper to send a book media mail versus 1st class due to the weight.
But the difference between Media and 1st class cost for a cd is negligible--on some cases, first class is cheaper, and in all cases, much faster. Media mail takes a ridiculous amount of time.
I can vouch for goHastings as an Amazon seller that always uses 1st class, and is very fast. It just sometimes makes me antsy about using Marketplace for non-Prime eligible options unless they clearly state how they will send.

Last week ordered White Zombie's Astro Creep (cuz I'd only ever owned it on cassette). In the mail I get the Astro Creep jewel case with Rob Zombie's "Sinister Urge" on the inside.
This week I ordered Corrosion of Conformity's "Animosity", cuz I lost my old copy. I got Nat King Cole's greatest hits in the mail.

Hmm..
My last Amazon order was the big heavy sumpt Small Faces box set, early orders were around the £80 mark.
Anyway, there was a delivery trail that moved on every month or so (after the boxes were ready to ship), but nothing happened.
So, I mailed an enquiry, and immediately I got an "Oh dear, this has got lost in transit, here's all yr money righto back into your account OKthxBye!"
Meanwhile, everyone that paid full price get theirs...

lol dude this article is literally an ad for amazon
If you just made it to the end of this article and you’re starting to think twice about cutting Amazon out of your life, we don’t blame you. The company offers so many different types of products and services that extricating yourself entirely won’t be easy.

like do people really need to be told not to use amazon's e-doorbell?
