Mike Hanley - Judd Nelson Dan Perry - Hootie Tom - Hugh Grant Ned - Tim Robbins with his long hair from High Fidelity Anthony - Hal Sparks Nicole - Drew Barrymore Me - Angelina Jolie Otis - Jonathan Richman. If unavailable, Matt Damon (if this happens, Ramon is in the film played by Ben Affleck. Steph would also have to be in it, played by Ally-McBeal-Secretary-Girl)
More people when I think of them.
If _Dharma & Greg_-boy is picked to play me, I fucking quit. (Pardon my GODDAMN French.)
Crispin Hellion Glover playing a li'l DP, perchance?

I have been told I resemble all of the following: Wallis Simpson, Jean Simmons, Parker Posey, Courteney Cox, Simone de Beauvoir, K Kepburn, Betty Boop (that's in a song), Erin O'Connor, Louise Brooks, Daria's best friend, Olive Oyl, Lucy van Pelt, a pipe cleaner, Coco Chanel and a Mini-Me version of Sigourney Weaver. I feel most like Lucy today.
Office of Central Casting suggests: Kerry; Kathleen Hanna. Ned: the guy who played Chris the DJ in Northern Exposure. Mark Sinker: Aiden Gillen. Tracer Hand: John Cusack. Paul Strange: Andrew Lincoln. Kate: Sophie Dahl. Ally: Guinevere Turner. Anthony: Eddie Izzard. Nick D: Chris Morris. Robin: Steve Coogan. Emma and Pete: Portia di Rossi and Peter MacNichol. Nicole: Mary Stuart Masterson. Ed: Hugh Fearnley- Whittingstall. Dan P: Ahmad Rahshad (don't worry, he'll explain). Oompahloompah-trail: Gene Wilder c. 1973, of course.
The part of Nick Currie will be played by the ghost of Kenneth Tynan.

I picture anthony being played by Ethan Hawke for some reason.
Mike Hanley is *totally* Paul Rubens.
My evening persona should be played by Claire Forlani, while the morning me is definitely more of a Janeane Garofalo, but with my luck I'll end up instead as that annoying red-headed chick from Suddenly Susan.

Patrick, I saw 'Joey Jeremiah' on Tv just this afternoon on some governmental nutrition awareness spot. He's balding! Bigtime. And Snake is on some car commercial as a yuppie husband. Ah well...
I always wanted to be Caitlin anyway.
2) no matter whom plays whom, this film must include janeane garofalo and philip seymour hoffman, as any film about a messageboard rightfully would.
3) bringing up phillip seymour hoffman reminds me of 'happiness' and the pedophile dad from that, who should also be in this film, somehow. i know SOMEBODY looks like him (not me, sorry).

― Paul Strange, Wednesday, 18 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)
I'd still like Jude Law to do my voiceover though.
Stevie T: you're grate. Broderick is fine for you. (Glad you've finally given up on Buscemi.) But what's all this about Dylan Moran? I know, coming from you it's a Comedy Compliment. Also what is 'BBkMac' or whatever? In fact, who were all those 'DJ' names you dropped?
Who's this 'Snake from Degrassi Jr High', too? What's all that about?
I demand a recount.

While we're at it we might as well do the mapping-onto-sitcoms rule too. DG's Army anyone: pipe-smoking Captain DG attempts to keep a motley band in order, though is constantly undermined by Sgt Sinker with hilarious conseq.s. Comedic support provided by loony veteran L/C Kearney, the irascible and thickly-accented Pvt St Claire, wide- boy Pvt Baran, fresh-faced yet gaffe-prone Pvt Carmody and...oh damn I can't think of anyone to be Godfrey. Possibly just as well. (ARP Warden Doomintroll turns up occasionally to shout pointlessly at everyone and enrage Capt DG)
Somebody else can do Hi-De-Hi.
― Pete, Wednesday, 18 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)
Actually Wills and Britney playing Pete and Emma would be good.
But Paul, if you are played by either Jude the dog faced Law or Russel the bear breath Crowe, then I will leave you.
Besides, we all already know that the parts of Paul and I are going to be played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Ewan McGreggor respectively. Don't be silly.
― masonic boom, Wednesday, 18 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)
Pete should be played by Matt Damon cos it would make him happy. Don't know about the rest of you as I cannot imagine what people look like based on their interweb personality alone......
― Emma, Wednesday, 18 July 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)
Since nobody has yet admitted to i) (though it's only a matter of time) we have to rule it out of contention. Which leaves ii), and on those grounds you're the man for the job, PF!
Pinefox - for some reason I imagine you to be tall, very skinny and blond, possibly wearing glasses (though Snake didn't).

Hootie - *sigh* At least it isn't Carrot-Top, hee heeLong Dong Silver - Huzzah! Samuel "Slappy" Jackson - Well, he will make just about any old movie, so he'd probably do it.Ahmad Rashad - Only if this includes scenes of me receiving passes from Fran Tarkenton.
I'm absolutely crushed that no one thinks I'm Taye Diggs. I guess I'm a little too latte and not enough mocha. *sulks* My cast list will go up later. I actually have work to do!

I'm not sure about being played by Chris Morris. I don't look anything like him and (as far as I know) people never go around going "Nick Dastoor - complete genius" in a really annoyingly repetitive way all the time.

Erm...if we're going to do this casting couch business, I *demand* to have Ewan McGreggor playing me. Ha-HEM. I have to test his ability to perform scenes of drunken lechery. Indeed.
