And Americans, if you miss the sound of that Tracer Hand's voice, here is where to go.
Show 1 has same line up, it starts changing from show 2. One day I will be allowed out from behind the desk.

Not sure about the Dr Pub and Dr Brand comedy voices.
― Michael Jones (MichaelJ), Thursday, 18 January 2007 10:08 (eighteen years ago)
My only problem with the show is that I keep thinking of "hilarious" things to say to escalate the banter...but I can't, cos it's on the radio and not in a pub.
OTM. But this is a measure of it's success I guess (among faithful friend listeners at least).

Learning curve kids! But yes, the big problem is avoiding the show turning into the middle-class behemoths which are Start The Week / Midweek / Loose Ends. Which thinking about it is probably impossible.
Yes not so much a device as poor recording equipment for pre-records.
As for "thinking of hilarious things to say, that's what the aftershow party/(anal dissection) is for. This weeks Lollards are Tracer, Tom, Kat and Me by the way. And then, two weeks time, Tim Popkins PRESENTS!

Clear airwaves last Sunday - no SOUTH LONDON PIRATES excuse.
And yet I could only vaguely hear it!
You want listeners - bring back the old transmitter which WORKED more than two streets away from Denmark Street!
I have listened to the podcasts - but I want to hear it in the context of a peaceful Sunday lunchtime!
Do you want all today's happening pop kids to defect to grumpy grandad Rowley and his Guilty Pleasures TM? Or Private Passions where Michael BERKeley explains to his guest how much better he understands their favourite music than they do?
Like Secret Affair said - TIME FOR ACTION!

Please help us to remain on air. We are desparately short of funding this year. We want to replace the antenna, find and equip new premises, replace worn out gear and ensure the best radio station in the world not only survives the coming year but flourishes.
Our immediate target is £60,000. About one quarter of what we need to run the station for the next twelve months. Go on help us. Any amount will more than welcomed

Presentation is improving all the time; Tracer sounding a lot more confident.
That having been said, however, it is basically indie Stop The Week innit? I was waiting for a wry number from Miles Kington and Instant Sunshine (but Ray Charles and "The Magic Box" sounded just fine)...

Cheers! Tim H did it with so much more character, y'know, but I understand the need to break up the hour with different voices. (If anyone wants to do some broadcast-quality pre-recording for future shows, I'm only a 25min bus ride from the end of the Victoria Line. And if that doesn't put you off, the two screaming kids will, I guess).

I only got the "You Decide" joke about three hours after I read it! A good thing, cos the (bad) Geordie/Mackem accent would've crept in. I want to know what pitch-shifting jiggerypokery is going on with Dr Drugs.

These are so, so good to listen to on the commute into work in the morning. Which is why I haven't heard this yet.
It's up as a podcast on FreakyTrigger now, by the way.
Someone needs to get working on that bosh remix of the theme tune.
― Matt DC, Wednesday, 14 November 2007 21:15 (seventeen years ago)
Theme tune went on forever since previous studio occupants had to clear out a massive keyboard and guitar. And uh, apologies for playing the wrong 2 Unlimited song at first!!
