The papers continue with their main features...

Over the weekend, one had her granny saying she's a horrible racist, several say she's a bully but not a R, The Daly Mail more about the level of support for Shilpa, and the Times had a free Shilpa Bollywood DVD offer.

Today, one of the paps had a "Jade: It was Danielle's fault" frontpage.

Next week, we'll all be bored, and over it.

Today, they're calling for Channel 4's directors to resign.

mark grout (mark grout), Monday, 22 January 2007 09:28 (nineteen years ago)

i am bored already.

jade does what everyone does these days: 'i'm sorry if anyone was offended' passive-voice non-denial denial bullshit.

the original hauntology blogging crew (Enrique), Monday, 22 January 2007 09:31 (nineteen years ago)

I know! I hate that kind of non-apology. "I'm sorry for what you took out of what I said." Er, so you're sorry for me, is that it? Mind you, I also dislike people who say "I apologise" instead of "I'm sorry", so what do I know.

accentmonkey (accentmonkey), Monday, 22 January 2007 09:53 (nineteen years ago)

She's donating her fees to charity. Presumably the Goody household will still be getting quite a bit though eh?

Edward Trifle (Ned Trifle IV), Monday, 22 January 2007 10:03 (nineteen years ago)

eh

RJG (RJG), Monday, 22 January 2007 10:04 (nineteen years ago)

From Jack and her mum, who i understand (but am not sure)still lives with them.

Edward Trifle (Ned Trifle IV), Monday, 22 January 2007 10:05 (nineteen years ago)

Frankly an apology is better than none but I just wish she'd do the decent thing and retire.

Edward Trifle (Ned Trifle IV), Monday, 22 January 2007 10:06 (nineteen years ago)

If Jack was any kind of a boyfriend he would have left with her, but then, of course, he wouldn't get his £50,000.

accentmonkey (accentmonkey), Monday, 22 January 2007 10:09 (nineteen years ago)

god, i hope he hasn't getting that much!

I would have thought (i have absolutely no idea obv.)that they get different amounts. But maybe the 50k was for the whole family.

Edward Trifle (Ned Trifle IV), Monday, 22 January 2007 10:11 (nineteen years ago)

what is his deal, generally?

the original hauntology blogging crew (Enrique), Monday, 22 January 2007 10:13 (nineteen years ago)

He's an asshole.

onimo (onimo), Monday, 22 January 2007 10:16 (nineteen years ago)

Jack was getting all flirty with Cleo, Jo and Danielle when they were all drunk yesterday, having a water fight with the girls in the bathroom. I wonder if he'll try and get off with one of them, now that Jade's not there? I'm not sure why I want this to happen, but I do.

C J (C J), Monday, 22 January 2007 10:21 (nineteen years ago)

The Times of India has a very interesting bit on her perfume the bottles of which are manufactured in India.
The story is here but BEWARE - evil fcking popups!
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Shh_Jade_Goody_has_India_connection/articleshow/1343894.cms

I was amazed to read that they had manufactured 3/4 of a million bottles of the stuff.

Also she visited the plant in India last year.

Edward Trifle (Ned Trifle IV), Monday, 22 January 2007 10:36 (nineteen years ago)

It's been mentioned elsewhere that her real fee was £300,000, rather than £50,000

b ham (b ham), Monday, 22 January 2007 11:19 (nineteen years ago)

ken c (ken c), Monday, 22 January 2007 11:52 (nineteen years ago)

It's been mentioned elsewhere that her real fee was £300,000, rather than £50,000

£300,000 is what Shilpa is getting, I thought? It's certainly a lot more than Jade is worth.

accentmonkey (accentmonkey), Monday, 22 January 2007 11:54 (nineteen years ago)

What happens to her £8 million fortune then? Does she have to give it all back, or something?

Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Monday, 22 January 2007 12:03 (nineteen years ago)

We were talking about this yesterday, and I reckon that, given all the hangers on she has, she could probably easily burn through £8 million in a couple of years. I heard her say that she is smart and has invested wisely, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if her business manager is fleecing her good-o.

accentmonkey (accentmonkey), Monday, 22 January 2007 12:05 (nineteen years ago)

she has to gamble all of it for the chance to win BULLY'S MYSTERY PRIZE.

ken c (ken c), Monday, 22 January 2007 12:06 (nineteen years ago)

she will probably get another book out of this, or a new edition at the very least.

the original hauntology blogging crew (Enrique), Monday, 22 January 2007 12:06 (nineteen years ago)

she'd be in appropriate company with Bowen given his own history of racist gaffs.

vita susicivus (blueski), Monday, 22 January 2007 12:07 (nineteen years ago)

Well, no. Of course not. (xpost giving her fortune back) That's exactly the point.

She can go on being contrite but at the end of the day, she could quite easily retire to less prominence. Even if people accept fully what she's saying right now, her 'standing' is dented and her 'prominence' as a magazine 'seller' will die off to very little in a month or two.

Let's not cry too hard for Jade.

mark grout (mark grout), Monday, 22 January 2007 12:09 (nineteen years ago)

Unless of course the figure is substantially less than £8 million.

Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Monday, 22 January 2007 12:20 (nineteen years ago)

she's lost quite a bit of weight these days so the figure is probably a few pounds fewer.

ken c (ken c), Monday, 22 January 2007 12:43 (nineteen years ago)

Update:

The statement from agent John Noel reads: "Jade is completely distraught and is receiving medical attention for shock and depression.

"She has publicly apologised to Shilpa and to the country on national television. Jade has had the courage to say sorry, to face her critics and to try to make amends.

"That's a lot more than most would do, but certain factions in the media will not be happy without blood. What sort of message does that send out? Aren't they doing to Jade what Jade is accused of doing to Shilpa?

"It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that we have problems with racism and bullying in this country when we are not prepared to listen to people who say and want to address their issues."

Goody appeared on GMTV on Monday morning admitting her behaviour on the Channel 4 show had been "nasty and ugly".

The damage limitation exercise will continue on Tuesday when she appears on Five show The Wright Stuff. The programme is hosted by Matthew Wright who, like Davina McCall, is also represented by John Noel Management.

mark grout (mark grout), Tuesday, 23 January 2007 11:47 (nineteen years ago)

i am coming to the conclusion that the real enemy is john noel, not jade goody

lex pretend (lex pretend), Tuesday, 23 January 2007 12:05 (nineteen years ago)

it's kind of his job to do this!

the original hauntology blogging crew (Enrique), Tuesday, 23 January 2007 12:09 (nineteen years ago)

We should cry hard for the crap parents she was given, the education and guidance she never received and the system of capitalism which gave her the illusion that everybody has the same opportunity when all it ever does is to reward those it wants to. And NO ONE ELSE besides.

With the Buchanan/O'Meara/Lloyd business, is there also residual misogyny at work here as well as classism? I don't recall Maxwell getting anything like the same treatment for his remarks.

Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Tuesday, 23 January 2007 12:10 (nineteen years ago)

jade has done ok from capitalism.

the original hauntology blogging crew (Enrique), Tuesday, 23 January 2007 12:11 (nineteen years ago)

buchanan?

maybe marcello, though for my part i was equally appalled, maybe more so, by maxwell.

Neil Buchanan

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Tuesday, 23 January 2007 12:14 (nineteen years ago)

i hated maxwell too. he wasn't as explicitly racist as this bunch.

the original hauntology blogging crew (Enrique), Tuesday, 23 January 2007 12:14 (nineteen years ago)

Lucy Buchanan off Shipwrecked (THE NEW JADE according to today's tabloids) who apparently doesn't like black people, fat people or ugly people and wants compulsory repatriation and the reintroduction of slavery.

Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Tuesday, 23 January 2007 12:15 (nineteen years ago)

jade has done ok from capitalism.

Has she though? I note that telltale "up to" prior to the "8 million" in the same way that "up to 6 million people will see your advert in the coming month."

Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Tuesday, 23 January 2007 12:16 (nineteen years ago)

well, if it's not £8m it's, you know, £millions.

the original hauntology blogging crew (Enrique), Tuesday, 23 January 2007 12:17 (nineteen years ago)

oh i didn't know shipwrecked girl's surname. i'm boggling far too much to really be offended by her, i find it impossible to believe she actually thinks that stuff! surely just saying cuntish stuff for effect.

lex pretend (lex pretend), Tuesday, 23 January 2007 12:17 (nineteen years ago)

who would do such a thing?

the original hauntology blogging crew (Enrique), Tuesday, 23 January 2007 12:18 (nineteen years ago)

It's just that, by focusing on all those young working-class girls with dodgy intelligence and dodgier thoughts, C4 reality shows are increasingly looking like a Taleban recruitment ad.

Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Tuesday, 23 January 2007 12:22 (nineteen years ago)

isn't the shipwrecked girl quite posh?

lex pretend (lex pretend), Tuesday, 23 January 2007 12:23 (nineteen years ago)

isn't the buchanan girl posh though? it's not just working-class women -- just women generally

dom passantino, i am him (Enrique), Tuesday, 23 January 2007 12:24 (nineteen years ago)

You won't get on any reality show, let alone one set on a nice carribbean island, if you present yourself as a nice, well-balanced and sane individual.

One of Donovan's best songs that. Certainly better than "Too Many Broken Hearts."

Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Tuesday, 23 January 2007 14:42 (nineteen years ago)

I'm looking at a bit of the live feed now, and much as I hate to say it about a woman on telly eating a digestive biscuit, Jo is a munter.

accentmonkey (accentmonkey), Tuesday, 23 January 2007 14:57 (nineteen years ago)

Sadly there are so few people in the wider world who know who Warren Zevon is that he's a regular answer on The Mint, viz. "Name something you're likely to find in a woman's handbag - Warren Zevon!"

Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Tuesday, 23 January 2007 15:00 (nineteen years ago)

One of the papers has it she's applied for her visa and is off with a camera crew from Channel 4.

All that from one "I'm thinking of going out there" comment, it seems.

(Would she need another visa if she'd been there recently to visit her perfume being manufactured recently?)

mark grout (mark grout), Wednesday, 24 January 2007 09:36 (nineteen years ago)

I think the "recently" for her perfume visit was April last year, so maybe. Also, maybe if she's going to shoot there she needs a different type of visa. This is going to be the most patronising programme ever, and may eventually do more harm to Indo-British relations than the original comments, I predict.

accentmonkey (accentmonkey), Wednesday, 24 January 2007 09:40 (nineteen years ago)

i hope all these racism complaints about bb and shipwrecked bring a glorious thud end to all reality tv programmes.

jade biog is not going to paperback

Anonymous Shepherd (Alan), Wednesday, 24 January 2007 12:05 (nineteen years ago)

makes more money in hardback.

the original hauntology blogging crew (Enrique), Wednesday, 24 January 2007 12:06 (nineteen years ago)

cf jordan, didn't go paperback for years.

the original hauntology blogging crew (Enrique), Wednesday, 24 January 2007 12:06 (nineteen years ago)

not so. the jordan book went the very usual route of paperback a year or so after - about 17 months, slightly longer than usual, but not notably so.

very few hardbacks make any money - the cost price is still too high (a lot of the cost of a book is making the cover) and is often priced as a loss maker to publicise the paperback. money is only really made on a long lived paperback.

more importantly, a lot of celebrity memoirs rarely earn out their advance.

on the other side, jade's HB has been quite a success (to date!). not on the level of jordan, but pretty good sales.

Britain's Obtusest Shepherd (Alan), Wednesday, 24 January 2007 12:13 (nineteen years ago)

she'll have a updated edition after she's conquered racism

RJG (RJG), Wednesday, 24 January 2007 12:14 (nineteen years ago)

actually you might be right about jordan's HB->PB. quick check on amazon says i am confusing 2 different autobiogs! TWO!

Britain's Obtusest Shepherd (Alan), Wednesday, 24 January 2007 12:15 (nineteen years ago)

jordan had an updated edition after she'd submitted to peter andre

RJG (RJG), Wednesday, 24 January 2007 12:16 (nineteen years ago)

money is only really made on a long lived paperback.

that's true -- but i am right on the jordan bhk i think. rjg is also right, it was updated, perhaps even more than once.

the original hauntology blogging crew (Enrique), Wednesday, 24 January 2007 12:17 (nineteen years ago)

She also updated after her baps went up a size.

Penelope_111 (Penelope_111), Wednesday, 24 January 2007 12:18 (nineteen years ago)

(old one, being jordan 13 mnths.) jordan is also very much notable for having exceptional sales. they are doing prestige editions!

Britain's Obtusest Shepherd (Alan), Wednesday, 24 January 2007 12:22 (nineteen years ago)

Has Jordan ever considered a pop-up edition? Oh no, missus, here, titter ye not etc

Tom D. (Dada), Wednesday, 24 January 2007 12:24 (nineteen years ago)

maybe it was

'being jordan' hbk v 1.0

(13 months)

'being jordan' pbk

BUT a new hbk edition was out about the same time.

i read all this in private eye. it could well be wrong.

accentmonkey (accentmonkey), Wednesday, 24 January 2007 14:01 (nineteen years ago)

it is racist (in that it is a label based partially on what might be called race). it's v low on the causing offence/division/violence scale. in comparison to what's been going on.

mark grout (mark grout), Thursday, 25 January 2007 09:18 (nineteen years ago)

I read over someone's shoulder (in the Sun, I think) that Jade's visa application for India has been rejected, but her crew have been given the all clear, so perhaps they will have to go and apologise for her.

PJ Miller (PJ Miller 68), Thursday, 25 January 2007 12:17 (nineteen years ago)

The Daily Star article is hilarious. She was as shocked as the rest of the country when she watched the tapes...

I don't think her visa application has been rejected they're just taking their time for obvious reasons.

So, what the Sun is saying is that you should be careful if you call someone a spic or a towelhead, because they might, in fact, be British and you will look a fool?

OTM. As long as they're not an immigrant The Sun encourages it's readers to love thy neighbour.

They don't seem to be suggesting people shouldn't use such words at all, just that if they're British/born here they're alright by them.

vita susicivus (blueski), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 13:16 (nineteen years ago)

No, The Sun encourages its readers to watch Love Thy Neighbour. Not quite the same thing but remember the coloured chappie always won so it wasn't racialist &c.

Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 13:19 (nineteen years ago)

Yeah, we all took the piss out of him for it as you hear "Priory" and immediately think of a bunch of famous arseholes. I'm sure our derision helped the healing process :-)

Well, it's just that I've never heard of the Priory having a particularly great medical reputation. From what little I know of it, its value is in the staff's discretion and security arrangements, which, you know, is obviously worth paying £20,000 a month for if that's what you need. I had no idea people actually rated it as a medical facility over other, cheaper facilities.

accentmonkey (accentmonkey), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 13:19 (nineteen years ago)

You can get sent to a Priory branch by BUPA or whatever, which might not be free, but does include a lot of "normal" people. And you don't have to stay there for long periods.

I think we should give The Sun a chance in its new non-racist guise. It is a pretty amazing turnaround.

PJ Miller (PJ Miller 68), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 13:25 (nineteen years ago)

You can get referred there on the NHS.

Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 13:26 (nineteen years ago)

You see I'm not sure that non-racism is best served by printing a load of racist epithets on yr front cover.

they're like the BNP of tabloids. i trust them.

The Ultimate Conclusion (lokar), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 13:29 (nineteen years ago)

You know where you stand, unless they need a sales bump.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 13:30 (nineteen years ago)

they missed out "emo".

acrobat (elwisty), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 13:32 (nineteen years ago)

Page 3 girls to wear burqas hooray.

God Bows to Meth (noodle vague), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 13:32 (nineteen years ago)

Ah, I did not know that the Priory was a chain. I beg your pardon. xp.

accentmonkey (accentmonkey), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 13:32 (nineteen years ago)

they missed out "emo".

It is too soon to relive the great My Chemical Romance bottle-throwing tragedy already. They have to be sensitive, don't you know.

The Ultimate Conclusion (lokar), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 13:35 (nineteen years ago)

"Chinky" refers to the takeaway, surely? "Chink" is the correct racial epiphet for a Chinese person.

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 13:36 (nineteen years ago)

if you want immigrant hating you are better off looking in the express.

i pick up the sun from time to time these days (barber's, discarded on bus) and if you ignore the columnists (all awful, some appalling) it is editorially not as nasty as I once imagined.

Britain's Obtusest Shepherd (Alan), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 13:36 (nineteen years ago)

Alan's right actually. I've said it before: The Sun is the immigrant's choice of newspaper these days.

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 13:37 (nineteen years ago)

That GMTV Jo interview is disturbing. Even celebrities are vulnerable to the rise in interest rates.

xxxxxpost.

The Ultimate Conclusion (lokar), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 13:40 (nineteen years ago)

You can get sent to a Priory branch by BUPA or whatever, which might not be free, but does include a lot of "normal" people.

Yup, my dad was referred there with insomnia/depression. Stayed for two weeks and said it was great, especially the way patients were actively encouraged to help with the rehabilitation of other patients - he became some kind of confidante to a depressed old woman, and although he's lovely, I would never have imagined him doing this. So I heart the Priory (and I live 5 minutes walk away should I ever need it myself).

=== temporary username === (Mark C), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 13:41 (nineteen years ago)

non-wealthy already quite right-wing immigrants perhaps yes (xpost)

vita susicivus (blueski), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 13:41 (nineteen years ago)

and I live 5 minutes walk away should I ever need it myself

was this Le Bon's thinking also?

vita susicivus (blueski), Tuesday, 30 January 2007 13:42 (nineteen years ago)

Someone should tell the Daily Star that the Jade Feeding frenzy is over now!

Apparently, doctors are livid that she's had a three day stay at the priory because to resolve the anger isues she has requires a three month stay and so this means she's only done the 3 day stay as a publicity stunt.

Whereas the general public have now moved on from bullying Jade and are now considering bullying the people who bullied jade. The sort of people who like shilpa 'despite' her being indian. Well good for you, to coin a phrase.

mark grout (mark grout), Wednesday, 31 January 2007 09:38 (eighteen years ago)

i know someone who got referred to the priory. it is a real place.

this has reminded me that at some point in history someone thought it would be funny to do a tv chat show called 'the priory'.

the original hauntology blogging crew (Enrique), Wednesday, 31 January 2007 09:43 (eighteen years ago)

Good ol' Channel 4.

God Bows to Meth (noodle vague), Wednesday, 31 January 2007 09:46 (eighteen years ago)

Or alternatively doctors are livid because to resolve the anger issues she has requires only a three-day stay so they lose money from her not being there for three months.

Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Wednesday, 31 January 2007 09:47 (eighteen years ago)

There is that.

I reckons them doctors should be referring themselves there.

Alt: If the doctors are that angry, they must be rub at resolving other people's anger.

mark grout (mark grout), Wednesday, 31 January 2007 09:48 (eighteen years ago)

I bet the doctors hardly got a word in edgeways in three days.

C J (C J), Wednesday, 31 January 2007 09:49 (eighteen years ago)

I read somewhere that after her eviction she did three days of interviews and TV appearances while staying in hotels before she bothered to see her kids.

onimo (onimo), Wednesday, 31 January 2007 10:02 (eighteen years ago)

WHERE were ESSEX SOCIAL SERVICES????

Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Wednesday, 31 January 2007 10:02 (eighteen years ago)

throwing stones at her house..

mark grout (mark grout), Wednesday, 31 January 2007 10:04 (eighteen years ago)

You see I'm not sure that non-racism is best served by printing a load of racist epithets on yr front cover.

QFT/cosign/whatever the fuck we say instead of OTM these days.

"reveal" magazine has interviews with two women who say jade bullied them/bit off their ears/was generally unpleasant as a teenager. SHOCK.

grimly fiendish (grimlord), Wednesday, 31 January 2007 10:37 (eighteen years ago)

The Duchess of York apparently feels very sorry for Jo.

Euai Kapaui (tracerhand), Wednesday, 31 January 2007 10:39 (eighteen years ago)

Well let's face it, she probably agrees with Lucy Buchanan all the way down the line.

Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Wednesday, 31 January 2007 10:41 (eighteen years ago)

O'Meara has rejected the suggestion she was racist and has had support from series runner-up Jermaine Jackson.

He has called on O'Meara to shake off her "shackles" and offered to help relaunch her career - by giving her one of his own songs.

Jackson is also to help launch an anti-bullying campaign aimed at teaching younger children how to resolve their disputes peacefully.

Every cloud has a silver lining, etc.

PJ Miller (PJ Miller 68), Thursday, 1 February 2007 11:00 (eighteen years ago)

Don't know about shaking off her shackles, but taking off that stupid cap might help.

Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Thursday, 1 February 2007 11:05 (eighteen years ago)

I only was just catching up on all this. Good grief.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 1 February 2007 13:41 (eighteen years ago)

Hmmm. It's totally normal for someone to be closely observed for three days to determine what kind of state they're in, especially as a voluntary admission, so Jade could have left at any time. Duh, doctors. See also every P-Do rehab attempt Kate Moss has paid for.

suzy (suzy), Thursday, 1 February 2007 13:56 (eighteen years ago)

Kate Moss rehabilitates child molestors? Disgraceful!

The Ultimate Conclusion (lokar), Thursday, 1 February 2007 14:03 (eighteen years ago)

I'm surprised that in all the talk of Channel 4's "responsibilities" no one in the press (to my knowledge) has taken the broadcaster to task for the mental damage they must surely inflict on some percentage of each year's contestants. Many of the conditions imposed upon them are identical with torture techniques.

Euai Kapaui (tracerhand), Thursday, 1 February 2007 14:34 (eighteen years ago)

there is the -- i suppose minor, really -- difference that the big brother contestants volunteer to go in and can opt to leave at any time.

the original hauntology blogging crew (Enrique), Thursday, 1 February 2007 14:35 (eighteen years ago)

Apart from Makosi and Leo Sayer who were both held against their will when they tried to leave.

onimo (onimo), Thursday, 1 February 2007 14:37 (eighteen years ago)

There's always a good deal of coercion that goes on whenever a contestant states a desire to leave: 'Big Brother suggests you sleep on it' and all that. And they are pschologically conditioned to think of BB as an authority figure.

chap (chap), Thursday, 1 February 2007 14:42 (eighteen years ago)

kind of puts guantanamo in perspective, really.

the original hauntology blogging crew (Enrique), Thursday, 1 February 2007 14:47 (eighteen years ago)

Thanks for pointing out that there are differences between actual torture facilities and the Big Brother House, Enrique, I'm sure everyone was confused before.

Euai Kapaui (tracerhand), Thursday, 1 February 2007 14:50 (eighteen years ago)

Preamble

There's very special guest in the house today - Shilpa Shetty, the Bollywood actress who won Celebrity Big Brother. She's the guest of Labour MP Keith Vaz, who's has already taken her on a photo call around the Commons terrace.

Unfortunately, the cameras aren't allowed to pan up to the public gallery, but expect some mention of the VIP during today's PMQs.

PJ Miller (PJ Miller 68), Wednesday, 7 February 2007 12:25 (eighteen years ago)

oh god keith vaz. opportunistic twat.

the original hauntology blogging crew (Enrique), Wednesday, 7 February 2007 12:35 (eighteen years ago)

Well she is hott...

onimo (onimo), Wednesday, 7 February 2007 12:36 (eighteen years ago)

I once nearly got a job driving Keith Vaz - to think I could now be meeting Shilpa Shetty...

Ned T.Rifle (nedtrifle), Wednesday, 7 February 2007 12:41 (eighteen years ago)

I was so excited I didn't even notice Keith Vaz.

PJ Miller (PJ Miller 68), Wednesday, 7 February 2007 12:48 (eighteen years ago)

I'm surprised that in all the talk of Channel 4's "responsibilities" no one in the press (to my knowledge) has taken the broadcaster to task for the mental damage they must surely inflict on some percentage of each year's contestants

no, it's been done. repeatedly. and every time i see such an article i go: "eh? fuck's sake, these stupid attention-seeking cunts chose to go in there. fuck them."

what enrique said, really.

grimly fiendish (grimlord), Wednesday, 7 February 2007 13:16 (eighteen years ago)

Oh damn it...

Jade goes to India

Ned Trifle II, Tuesday, 27 February 2007 14:28 (eighteen years ago)

"This is not a publicity stunt. Nobody knew I was coming here. It was a private visit. If I wanted, I could have got the UK magazines to come here with me," she said.
