the reception was the best party I've ever been to and the best time I've ever had, anywhwere. Totally off-the-hook. Mr. Pink was the DJ and my stepmother-in-law ended up crowd-surfing. Every single person I'm related to was dancing--all night. After the reception, we all ended up partying in the dugout of a baseball diamond behind a Wendy's. I've been told it was hook-up city, a total love fest.

That's a great idea for the SS shirt! I wasn't allowd to go to concerts in high school so my first show wasn't until my freshman year in college. It was 1995 and ended up being the Bosstones with Murphy's Law opening. I have no idea who my second show was but I'd say Morrissey is a pretty great one!

i have been mad scared of all these empire waisted tops that seem to be the trend right now. i do not think they look that great on ANYONE. why can't we just have normal shirts back? nevertheless, it looks good on you!! i like stripes :)

No, I agree which is why I hadn't bought any until just now but I love black and white stipes and couldn't resist. I knew as she was eyeing me up and down that's what she was thinking. Her exact words were, "So, when's that happening?" The look on her face when I told her that it was just the shirt was priceless. I learned a long long time ago not to assume anyone is pregnant until they've either told you or they look like they're about to burst. Something tells me this shirt isn't going to get worn all that often.

i've personally been trending AWAY from baggy clothes -- i look bigger in them. form-fitting clothes flatter me as long as they're not ridiculously tight.

You can use the shirt to your advantage: go to the show, act pregnant (*), be helped to the front of the crowd, score!

(*) not too much or they'll get an ambulance so you'll miss the show

I could do - I hadn't thought of that. I think I'm a bit paranoid now. I went outside to have a smoke and got nervous that people walking by thought I was some horrible expectant mother!

haha. yeah, ennb i never assume. in fact, i was around a girl this weekend who was pregnant, but i didn't congratulate her because it took a few hours of wondering and inconspicuously asking other people if she actually was pregnant or just a little heavy (cause she's actually only 3 months and combo of her being naturally heavy and the shirt made her look about 5) before i confirmed that she was indeed expecting.

ENBB, Just pull the shirt close with your arms when you're standing in order to show the lack of bump.

haha, that is pathetic, but i've probably got you beat. my first 'real' concert was i think 2 years after high school, with some stoner friends. but it doesnt even really count because a)it was audioslave & i only went because b)it was in chicago & c)i was lonely.

I cant, I lost them last night at about 1am :( My ex rushed to help when I rang in a hysterical panic, and scoured the path up and down where I'd been walking, but couldnt find them :( I couldnt look for them, I couldnt see!

It was a bit of a miserable embarrasing event, my hands are all grazed from falling down :/

Ouch and suckage, It's bad enough living alone and drunkenly loosing one's glasses in the house. I have no idea where my spares are either.

If I lose my glasses I've usually put them somewhere and forgot - are you sure you had them on when you left the bar/club? (ring them and ask if they found them in their bathroom/on your table?) Or maybe you picked them up while on the ground, put them in your pocket/bag and forgot you did so?
