I've had enough experiences with smart and crazy to want to go through rollercoaster again. Unfortunately, those are the sort of people I tend to end up with anyway, whether or not I'm trying to avoid them. Often you can't tell crazy from non-crazy before you've been with them long enough to form an emotional bond, and after that it's harder to break off, especially if the craziness is sort of intertwined with the stuff that makes her appealing. Besides, the last relationship I had with a definitely non-crazy girl ended partially because I found her too vanilla. Why can't I meet an interesting, cool person who'd also be totally sane?
