Now that I think about it, my funniest scene in the entire show was when Michael finds a package in the fridge, sees the "Do not open - dead dove" sign on it but opens it anyway, and says "I don't know what I expected". I had tears streaming down my face. Come to think of it, that might have been the scene that hooked me onto the show. The "Go back from whence you came" at the end of it made me Arrested Development's official bitch.

Come to think of it, I wish we had an option to vote for that dead dove. It got a lot of laughs out of me.

Very subtle thing I didn't notice until second watch-thru: over the course of season 2 there are cumulatively more and more blue handprints all over the model home.

Tobias gets a lot of the physical comedy jokes: when Lucille keeps spilling her breakfast martini and he comes into the room and does this TREMENDOUS fall...or when he's Mrs Featherbottom and he dives off the balcony!!!!

That's a little cornball.

My favorite Tobias moments are the scenes where he blends into the background in his blue-man paint, and you don't realize he's there at all until either the camera lingers after the dialog, or he gets up and walks away.

By youtubing "fuck mountain" I found a band (from Louisville I think) who have a song called "King of Fuck Mountain" and damn I kinda dig it.

i watched the entirety of the third season last night on hulu.com instead of grading papers. they do a really good job of setting up the Charlize Theron is retarded/a spy plot with perfect ambiguity between the two.

also, Ron Howard's narrator is super-judgy in the third season!

That plot really really bugged me, although it set up some great jokes, especially the GOB walking on water illusion.

Which brings to mind the Tobias hairplugs plotline which is one of the finest.

did not like the charlize theron plotline, loved "mr. f" three-note song

i thought the charlize plotline had some funny stuff. like when michael tried to pick her up in the bar at first and rambled on about kidnapping her or something.

You know when you go to the gym and you stretch out by leaning on your front foot and stretching out your back leg? I have to lean forwards against a wall when I do this so I don't fall down.
