I heard some of the dudes are gay.

it's kind of weird that they don't have teaser info up like profiles and such. Usually that stuff is up on the website weeks before the season debut. The whole thing seems rushed and half-assed - like a last ditch effort to squeeze some more profit from the franchise before it goes to a different network. Doesn't bode well.

i thought the same way, but after finding out that Lifetime PR is moving to LA i don't care how shitty this season is because one more "real" season is preferable to any number of seasons of the neutered version that'll be on lifetime

like, half of everyone picked tablecloths for the first season supermarket challenge. these people are kind of feeble. tim gunn just told them off.

the guy who got kicked off, his outfit was better than the leather girl's. just sayin.

he shoulda just left out the rubber gloves. the dress underneath was cute! and the coat wasn't even that bad. it was like, evil nurse trolls for sex. which i mean come on, that can work, as a look.

(btw was she referring to her dress as "trash" and "garbage" on purpose? cuz i dont think so. she kept saying "my fabric is trash!" but she was like dead serious. it was v weird.)

i thought cup dude should've won but i wasn't really mad at the girl winning even tho the coffee filters over the tits was not a good look (looked like she should've been serving hours devours on those things). cup dude is def this season's christian except his confidence is v silent also he is kind of boring.

the tanning dude is this season's kayne. he may win a challenge that is tailored to ridiculous and ugly flamboyant shit and he'll skirt by on the normal challenges as the boring designers fall by the wayside but once he gets to the final 5-6 he's gonna fall apart

The only way that I can stand Tanning Tragedy's continued presence is that I hope I'll be able to watch him slowly become more and more pale. (Also, Christian Siriano has a lot to answer for -- all these wannabe twentysomething divas just have to have some insipid catchphrase they get from a sub-Pussycat Dolls reality show.)

The winning design, the top totally flattened the model's tittage, though if she was the Asian model, maybe there wasn't a lot of there there.

I think that that coffee filter bra thing that won the challenge would be more suited to a lacy layer of coffee filters running all over the front of the bodice in a "fish scale" (for lack of better term) sort of way - as it is now it is just too "cartoon boob"ish.

Lots of folks from last season had good backgrounds. I don't think this is a better group than last year's, but potentially is more diverse in styles.

btw i have to torrent this to watch so i'm late to the party. this particular episode was worse than most for not showing some of the best dresses in the main body of the programme. they barely show them on the runway itself!

i thought the winning dress was easily the best and it did look like a little bit of couture up there among the chloe, kors etc wannabes. dull and ugly for the most part. kelli, who won the first challange, was robbed at not being top 3 again (from what i could tell, please show the dresses for more than 5 seconds!). i think the wrong person went home though, the losing dress sucked but it was, at least, well made, and there was a germ of an interesting idea in there rather than making a dress like a clock wtf? much as i like keith his toilet paper dress was by far the worst.

they were both bright blue on my tv--but while the cocktail waitress looks blue on the internets, the plaid thing now looks purple! O_O they made such a huge deal about the purple on the runway but they thought it was blue at mood...what the hell? as designers the both of them should be a little more careful with fabric and double checking and understanding them, no?

i can't believe terri didn't win, the more i look at these outfits. korto annoys me and her outfit was kind of bleh.

I am starting to warm up to both Blayne and his tanning addiction, and Stellah and her leathah. She was wearing makeup in this episode! What freaks her out most about me is I knew an ex-heroin/current methadone addict who used to hang out in the local Coffee Time smoking room and shoot the shit with me - who looked just like her. I used to think he looked like Ozzy. No. He looked like Stellah.

this is a really unlikeable group of people, it seems like they went for personalities more this time than in the past.

i can't see kenley as one note, she just seems that way because her own personal style is one note (but well executed). i like her a lot. that outfit that's been reposted here 5 times is still the best outfit of the season.

Am I cruel to say that I enjoy watching the indie rock looking girl Leanne when she is among the last to go? Leanne's eyes get dilated behind those specks and she looks like is nearly going to break down because mom found out she failed trig. I have to say that she has one of the worse deer in the headlights faces when in the situation in the history of the show. I find it oddly entertaining.

Keith and Daniel are both so awful. leanne is boring. still have no idea what suede's about except for the third person thing. blayne is ok - would be pissed if he was a finalist but for the moment, dude is good tv esp since the rest of them take themselves way too seriously. and stella might be the most one-trick of them all but at least she seems to get what the challenges are about.

Suede could do alright if he ever picked the right fabric. And yay for Jerell again, he has been very consistent and has definitely deserved the last win. I also agree that Kinley should be the next to go, but like suede, she could be on or off at times.

I will be happy to see Leanne branch out a bit more as well. But she is still pretty damn good.

My love for both Blayne and Stelluh grew and grew this cycle, so I was SO happy when they got put together on the challenge.. of course, I also knew they are both so insane that it'd spell the death of Blayne in this competition. Too bad. Suede has also grown on Finefinemusic and Finefinemusic hopes Suede and his many dead relatives will live on in this competition! Kenley has become such a major pain in the ass. Maybe a bit ADD or something? She seems to NEED everyone to see/hear her all the time.

Oh and Terri's behaviour with Keith! jerrell reminds me a little of this dude steve i know. the last time i saw steve, he entered the bar we were in, trailed by an old asian man trying to sell flashing rave necklaces made of finding nemo characters, and then steve proceeded to knock beers all to the floor and smash things. he went for a smoke break immediately after entering, then came back and left to go to a party on a rooftop. i imagine jerrell doing similar things, in his free time away from wearing ludicrous shirts and designing crazy hats.

Videos of the collection: Jerrell's collection looked amazing in the Jezebel pics, not so much in movement. Disappointing. Suede's just looks horribly cheap. Loved Leanne's the most, followed by Korto.

Jerrel's design was leagues ahead of everyone else. Korto's, although second best, was still poor, i thought. how come they loved that jacket?

kenley has lost the plot and it looks like she finally falls over the edge next week. the trailer seemed to be all about her bad attitude. she was so pissed that she didn't win this challenge - could she not see how great Jerrel's look was compared to hers?

Suede and Joes outfits this week both completely defied belief.

I thought Korto's jacket was pretty frumpy - much moreso than Leanne's jacket, which I thought was kind of cute but its hem / the belt didnt' line up right, which bothered me. I can't wait to see Kenley fall apart, she's getting kind of loony and bitchy!

Despite everything I kind of love Suede - the thumbs up when he talked the girl out of her pants (haH)! - but yeah, ugly outfit. Thankfully Joe's was worse. Jerrell's definitely deserved to win.

And then. And then and then and then. Do you remember that girl you knew in college who was fashionable in this timid, darting way. Who things never seemed to go quite right for until they really did and there was something so smug and self-satisfied about her success. And then you'd see her at parties or in the dining hall and she was always talking to boys, only boys, perhaps one out-of-her-league fellow in particular, in this cloying and sad and infuriating way. She would get a little too sloppy at parties and quietly profess her sad love for this boy—who probably played club lacrosse or rowed crew and had some family money and was kind but aloof to her—and she would glare at any girl in a shrill passive aggressive way if she felt encroached upon. That girl was someone you felt bad for, sure, but mostly you couldn't stand her. Because she was a poor representative of Women, the kind of deliberately damaged goods (I don't mean mental imbalance—I mean put-on modesty wrapped in over-confidence swathed in self-righteous anger) who made boys thinks that "chicks are crazy, man." That is Kenley. And that's all I'll say about her.

There were a few shots of Suede's dress on its own, and it was a really beautiful dress. Shame about the jacket.

this season has barely kept my interest, I skipped several weeks but watched the last two. next week looks like nervous breakdown time for everyone. kenley should have been gone this week though, that was horrible.

Korto's was terrible and i actually thought Suede's was the only good one. Jerrel looked great in it and i couldn't stop looking at his crotch, which is pretty key in R&Roll terms.

i would have pretty much reversed the entire order of winners>losers.

I thought they were all pretty bad (and have for the past couple of weeks actually.) I thought Korto's jeans were nice enough. Jerrel was going to look great in practically anything, but that outfit was a yawn.

92% of people who watch the show hate Kenley, which is pretty impressive.

I definitely didn't think Korto deserved to win, but it was worth it just to see Suede lose in a goth juggalo outfit.

Kenley looked f'in hot.

i hated the bleaching on korto's jeans and thought the entire outfit looked really obvious. suede's look for jerrel was pretty good imo, esp the vest. kenley's pants were like what?! jerrel rocked it again - who knew kenley had that body?

korto's jeans were very well made and the silouette was flattering for suede, but the entire outfit was shit from top to bottom in terms of concept. since when did punk mean "dress like you are in linkin park" (don't answer that, probably)? she fundamentally failed because she made an outfit for the challenge that was handed down to suede IMO. also, everyone shitting themselves over OMG BLEACH TREATMENT, it's like ppl have been doing that since the '80s? and it's kind of out of style right now? and it's amazingly f'ing easy to accomplish? ugh so bad and i wanted to cry for poor suede, the indignity of getting kicked off WHILE WEARING THAT. jesus!

it was just so outdated and tacky and awful, i don't see it being any less of a disaster than kenley's except in the fact that it was somewhat better made. they failed in the exact same ways except for the crotch of the pants debacle! oh. well. leanne's hair looked super cute like that btw!

and also korto is not a horrible person, unlike kenley, but that's neither here nor there.

In general I was kind of unimpressed with the designs this time. Maybe the challenge was too contrived? But it was fun seeing them all made up. Especially Leanne.

it's just really unfair that suede got sent home because his outfit looked like things jerrel already wears. it wasn't explicitly a make-over challenge and it's not his fault that jerrel dresses like an adderall-addled lenny kravitz. it was a little boring but so is rock 'n' roll, and the pants were really well done, just as well-made as korto's quite frankly and not as outdated and tacky.

looove jerell... he's been my favourite since the start even though his designs are pretty hit-or-miss. too funny! I'm still laughing at that thing he said about terri a few weeks back - mean but lol! thought he should've won this challenge, and I thought suede's was actually better than the other three, but i guess dude needed to go sometime.

i'm guessing next week the judges will tell them that none of them are fucking ready for bryant park (cue the TEARS) cos honestly, overall, this week's was *weak* and it's the second to last challenge before the final three! that and none of these guys have really wow-ed me consistently the way jillian or christian did last season, or michael or laura before that.

I've liked Korto and Leanne a lot almost all season, despite missteps. Kenley is totally this season's Jeffrey and this makes me terrified that she will win.

Leanne's dress reminded me a bit of Michael's couture dress from season 3, except 10000x better. Jerell's dress was promising although too messy. Leanne should have won.

They all kind of sucked, but they got the top two and bottom two right at least.

If I didn't know that two of the final collections are good, I'd think this was the worst season since the second.

I checked out the collections by Joe and Suede. Not impressed. Suede's was better, but there are a few major duds in both collections.

I disagree, Kenley's dress was abrasively tacky, Korto's was actually quite pretty IMHO although I do understand how they saw it as pageanty - Kenley's was just ugly ugly ugly, even if it was sewn decently.

I thought all four were pretty bad considering the time and resources they had.
