Just watched that last wk. Grate movie. Segal makes Gould look dumpy in the male-aesthetics dept., but that's mostly b/c Elliot's character is dressing and acting like a proto-Cosmo Kramer of sorts

Someday I'll press my friend J. from high school for stories, as he lived in an apartment next door to Gould while his wife did her residency at UCLA med school in the late 90s. All I recall from J. is that Gould was kind and (if I recall correctly) self-effacing.
