Spencer managed to convince BB of the folly of messing with smokers though i.e. the poor house now have tobacco in their basic rations. Ha ha go Spanky.
My new hate figure is Adele, but I think my temper towards Sophie has alot of potential to rise. I reckon she'd really annoy me in real life.

PJ must go because punishment is urgent and key. I wuv watching him: esp. since jel nailed his draw-yr-own-face-on-w.-felt-tip deal
I'd rather judge someone on whether I like them or not Andrew, that takes alot of factors into account but hopefully who they vote for won't be the only one. Of course if I lived in Britain I might hate the tories enough to be able to dismiss people who actually didn't so easily.
Alex must stay. And who knows, he might. I think the vote will be tight (though I imagine SPencer currently has the edge). I still don't understand how PJ escaped nomination.

I think they've wrecked it this time around with the whole rich house/poor house divide. And the combination of contestants seems to have been chosen with the express purpose of them antagonising each other as much as possible.
I hope Alex stays. I'm think Spencer's far too cocky, although I have some sympathy with him concerning the fags. He came into the house to play a game. He didn't know he'd have to completely give up smoking, on top of having to deal with eating lentils, taking cold showers and listening to PJ's whining.
I hope that the contestants on the poor side give an ultimatum to the producers and force them to get rid of the fence. Things might improve then, though I doubt it.

NO NO NO. The entertaining thing this year is that none of them are vary strongly anything, but still they manage to find stupid things to hate each other for.

Tim's World Cup code thing was SO PUNCHABLE! I mean if you're going to cheat at least be clever & imaginative about it. And if you get caught at least have the grace to fess up! What a fule.
― Emma, Friday, 21 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

― Dan Perry, Friday, 21 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)
her refreshing indifference to the conventions of received fact = she is apparently completely immune to lizard-style social programming via edumacation and ver media
Not only is she "stupid", she's also got nothing to say about anything whatsoever, so if the intellectual argument is really that irritating then take the other one. Just because she's obviously stupid doesn't mean she's somehow any better than the more subtly stupid people.

Adele, Jade, Sophie, in that order must go. I reckon if Tim stays one of the people will start a fight with him about something that isn't his fault and he'll end up apologising.
Alex talked about "clubbing" this morning and it cut out alot of it but I heard about 3 sentences where he was trying to sound smart "it's a bit too eh......techno for me" and Adele was nodding and I want them both skewered.
Obviously this is a petty thing to hate Alex for but then call me Mr Petty.

― Graham, Monday, 24 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)
ALEX: must stay, i liked his Carlylean torment at "having to choose again" JADE: must stay, no argt nec. JOHNNY: must stay, i like his endless staring mildly into the distance while smoking
ADELE: must go (see ronang's reasoning) KATE: must go (robot but not in a good way) SOPHIE: must go ("okay mate!") TIM: must go, as by no means as laughably reactionary and horrible as we were led to believe PJ: must go, he is worse in grateful triumph than he was in twisted defeat
― mark s, Monday, 24 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)
Johnny's staring is classic. Also he has this permanent smirk as if he knows something noone else does. Chocolate stealing incident was good too.
― Ally C, Monday, 24 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)
Now I realise why they're all so annoying, they're a bunch of bloody kids!
― Tom, Monday, 24 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)
Also the terminology of that report didn't do the matter any favours. Am I the only one who got a sickening mental image on the line "alex wears pants because boxers can't support the weight of his member".
I mean for gods sake! It would be like if the Sandy story said "such was the amount of hot urine in Sandy's bladder that he couldn't hold himself back any longer. with a large groan he gave the bin what for, chuckling away to himself".
