for me, it's easy. an indoor swimming pool. i like to swim, but i don't like being outside. and i don't like swimming in pools that lots of other people swim in. which is why i would want my own super-deluxe indoor swimming pool.

i hope everyone who DOES have an indoor swimming pool really appreciates it. it really is the first thing i think of when i think of things it would be cool to have. you could take a midnight dip! (okay, i lived on an island for five and a half years with the ocean practically outside my door and i never once took a midnight dip, but that's because there were maneating crabs and god knows what else in the lagoon by our house.)

Yeah, Ned. Did you see the picture I put up? I could throw a baseball into the ocean from a chair on that patio. And I throw like a man with no muscles or bones in his throwing arm.

Well, there's nothing between it and the beach but you have to walk down a path. Thing is a like those types of houses and there aren't many of them that big near beaches. I have to take what I can get and that one's for sale right now (and only £650k!)

It's a really hard question! Everything I can think of just seems like a better version of stuff I already have:

- home cinema (already own a pretty large telly)
- Mayfair townhouse (can kip on friend's floor nearby)
- private train (can afford train tickets)

My grandparents used to own a piece of land around Big Sur. It was like several hundred square feet up a steep hill that one couldn't actually get to. I think they bought it at a point when there was concern that the area was going to privatized and developed. They later gave it/sold it to the Big Sur Land Trust, but I always thought it was weird that they owned this seemingly useless piece of property.

OK ENBB has inspired me, I've gone crazy and found a house in Lanzarote (which is a place I love) RIGHT BY THE SEA , two pools, 8 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, Cesar Manrique sculpture in the driveway. You're all invited. Just need £2.2m.

I was actually thinking about this because I heard you could become a millionaire if you won the recent lottery. Fuck me. I think I'd instantly buy a BIGGER house (even though ours is pretty huge) with a garden (which we do not have, just some stoned inner terrace). I'd immediately splash out on a whole new wardrobe (Current/Elliot here I come baby). But at the end of the day I think I have a pretty good life, I would just want the things that I now have. That said, I would stop working. Actually no, I wouldn't. Just take loads of holidays with the kids (and without hah).
