If that Resort show is the one I'm thinking of, it were on Ten, it were hosted by Jon Stevens out of yer Noiseworks, and it rated SO INCREDIBLY BADLY that they ended it a few weeks early and arbitrarily and unsatisfactorily gave someone first prize to much annoyance from the 12 people who still cared.

Gig yesterday @ Penny Black was great fun! Tis a really nice venue - the beer garden's enourmous and shady (though I still managed to get sunburned ugh), and all the chiptune/synthy music was fun. Would smash beers there again.

Man, that was one crowded-ass fucking club. Its a HUGE venue and yet it was crammed to the gills. The worst bit was, despite the airy rooms and aircon, they insisted on blasting the dancefloor areas with the shittiest smoke machine crap possible. So much of it it was difficult to see where you were going. It was nicer outside in wreaths of cigarette smoke on the balcony :/
