When people really leave ILX, they just lose interest until one day they delete it from their bookmarks. If you want to go the "cold turkey" method, you'll have to define it as an addiction, admit that you have no power over it, pick a higher power, take a fearless ILX inventory, etc etc. And even then, relapse is part of recovery.

Hoos, I hope you manage to deal with your real life issues and things will start looking better for you again. And when that happens, I hope you can one day return to ILX. I know it's not good practice to post about your problems with other people on a public message board, but the urge to do that is totally understandable, many ILXors (myself included) have done so in the past, so I'm sure everyone understands why you did it. Of course it's great if you can learn from all this, but don't take it too harshly, and I hope one day you'll return as a better poster. There's still plenty of great things to do and discuss on ILX without having to air out matters that others wish to keep private.

(My personal principle with this is, I can post about any private stuff I want to if it only relates to me, because that's my choice. But if other people are involved, I won't write about it, or write in such vague terms that these people shouldn't feel their privacy being violated.)
