just barely even getting started just with ice cream & if you let gelato in & mochi then business gets extremely funky in a hurry. it is true - a hot dog, say at Pink's, that's an actual meal, something ice cream will never be. but ice cream's wide variety trumps the hot dog's substantiality. besides all which, it's really easy to make your own ice cream with just a jar, some ice and salt and a coffee can and a few basic ingredients & a buddy with whom to kick the ice-packed can back and forth across a hall with for a while, and the results will be showstopping. if you make your own hot dogs from scratch, you aren't going to want to eat them.

collards are SERIOUSLY underrated, one of my favorite things, but then u get into greens in general, and people just don't understand. some of the best food ever, but then again, kinda limited in that there are few applications/limited prep options. but for those that like, i will stew up a batch of greens at a moment's notice and never be less than thrilled to do so.

anyway - I agree broccoli is better than cauliflower when taken individually, even if I do genuinely think cauli is delicious on its own... but it's use as an ingredient in cauliflower cheese and in curries just gives it the edge for me ~shrug~

seriously peach is practically its own flavor group. I can fry pretty much anything and get the same pleasure I'd get from french fried potatoes but a peach is irreplaceable.
