these section titles are kind of self-consciously zany -- that particular one is in reference to the richard pryor record. i find it really weird to put spoilers on a suicide note, but it seems from his writing that he's not crazy, just sort of in extended grieving over the loss of a parent as a child. It's not clear that he actually believes the chain of logic any more than as a kind of Douglas Adams intellectual goof.

It reminds me a lot of someone I used to be very close to, who I recently had a huge falling out with. I know a lot of egotists (because I'm a musician) but it's rare that I encounter people who are full blown narcissists, which is something a bit different.
