Breton/Welsh/Cornish are distant enough from Irish that there isn't any mutual intelligibility to speak of. Works for Scots Gaelic though.

Manx had one native speaker left,,an old man called Ned iirc,and he died maybe 60s or 70s.had been sufficiently recorded and documented that hobbyists learned it afterwards. But essentially it's dead as Latin with less speakers/literature.

I used to be fascinated by the "futuristic" look of the Japanese language back in my Otaku days but these days I think that Russian, Bhili and Bodo are cool looking.

Vietnamese could be considered a dialect of Cantonese/Hakka, and until the French invaded, their language was entirely Chinese hanzi (ideographs), unlike these days which is an odd Romanized script courtesy of the French conquest.
