Ive found plenty of roomy places with seperate diing areas/kitchens, even 2 toilets/seperate laundries for 450, so its not that hard. its just a shit fight to get em.

But Im looking at villas/townhouses/houses. Im not even considering flats unless theyre hueg/have a terrace/courtyard. Not for that money. ffs I was paying $260 for a flat twice the size of my current house, only 3 years ago.

'er indoors's macbook just fell off our wireless network. I could not get it to work. I tried everything I could think of but fail fail fail. Eventually I hassled Twitter for a solution. Loads of people tried to help but nothing worked. In the end I somehow fixed it by changing the router's bandwidth setting from 20 MHz to 40 MHz, and for some reason it changed the channel from 12 to 1 without asking me. So I tweeted the thing about it changing from channel 12 to channel 1 without asking me, and G4bby Mi11g4te of "y0u're t3rrible muri3l" fame replied with "soory that was me". I have no fucking idea what that was.

rother attendance in question, was up til 7am last night and woke up at 10 this morning so feeling somewhat rough

i attended a multicultural sector 'gala dinner' on satdee night thru work, it was a door prize!

hilarious moments from the evening:

• the premier's speech getting interrupted by some insane community radio woman getting on stage and trying to do one of those compliment sandwiches - "thanks for your support, give us more money"
• work colleague got photo later with the premier basically doing westside gang signs
• we stole chocolate from another table on the way out
• ended up finishing evening w/ karaoke - perhaps finishing evening celebrating cultural diversity by bawling along to 'killing in the name' not exactly appropriate
