I can't help wondering how many of these guys are out of the closet now. Simple averages would require at least five of them and, given how show biz is in general, probably closer to ten or twelve.

That explains things... When I looked at that Teen Beat pic, I was like, "How did that kid grew up to be Wormtongue?".

Like most people who were at a British university at the tail end of the 90s, I've seen Chesney Hawkes play live. He does a full live set of original material, followed by The One And Only, which he is legally obliged to mime. He then played Alright by Supergrass. It was kind of preposterous.

I have never even heard of most of these. Exceptions being Jason Donovan, Dean Cain, Chesney, and the two Eurodance guys who I would never have thought of in this category.

Yeah, I can't imagine that even the teen girls of the 90s would've been like, "DJ Bobo, he's so dreamy!". Dr. Alban at least looks sorta cute.

mmm, Edward Furlong. I also had an inexplicable thing for Dieter Brummer, but so did every other girl of my age.

This list was definitely made by either a British or Australian person btw. A lot of these guys were never famous in the US. For instance I have no idea who Dieter Brummer is because we never got Australian soaps.

Never got the Furlong love though my appreciation for him did grow a bit after he tried to liberate all the lobsters from a supermarket tank.

I loved Corky Nemec. A lot. I vividly remember the "I know my first name is Steven" TV movie.

Random stuff about the irl Steven kid - he was killed in a motorcycle accident the year that movie came out and his brother is the guy that murdered a woman and kids in Yosemite in the late 90s.

Well I mean I'm only 36, I should know more heart-throbs from the 80s in theory! But I don't know hardly any of these.

x-post - I know - I only meant that I think several of them were teeny bopper stars in the 90s when we were already at an age where we weren't necessarily watching or concentrating on shows with 12 year olds. I don't know a lot of them either.

I think overall it's more 90s heavy than 80s heavy. Por ejemplo my old roommate who is 5 years younger than I am was like OMG I LOVED (three of them but I forget which) and they were three I'd never heard of because it turned out they were all on shows that I was just too old to have cared about at the time.

I have just spent altogether too long trying to remember the name of the 16th-rate British soap star that all my friends cut out pictures of from TV Hits every week. I would like my brain back now please.

Peter Andre was on I'm a celebrity in the jungle when he got together with Katie Price while I was living over there so it was big news and his name was everywhere. man, come to think of it, the nascent FOX Sunday-night sitcom lineup was p classic overall: Simpsons, Married.. w/ Children, PLCL & Get a Life. I think Herman's Head might have been in there at some point as well.

"Terminator 2" actor Edward Furlong has been charged with beating up his girlfriend ... the second time he's been accused of a domestic violence attack in less than a month ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, the alleged domestic dispute took place on November 21st ... the day before Thanksgiving. Furlong is accused of inflicting corporal injury resulting in a traumatic condition.
