What celebrity do you look like?

So I was in a steam room yesterday and a guy comes in, stares at me and says "You look like Ant and Dec". To which I replied "Which one". He said "BOTH!"

*oh the shame*

Other times folk have labled me a look-a-likey of Brett Anderson, Jaime Harding and (once) Bill Clinton!

kinski (kinski), Friday, 20 September 2002 09:41 (twenty-three years ago)

Carol bloody Decker (mainly by my friends winding me up, but also by an ex who followed it with "She was quite sought after in her day." Um thanks.)

Molly Ringwald
Melissa Auf DeMayer
Nicole Kidman (not even in my wildest dreams would this be true)
The girl out of Riverdance
Brianna Corrigan, exBeautiful South, the only one I actually look like.

Anna (Anna), Friday, 20 September 2002 09:54 (twenty-three years ago)

David Baddiel
James Dean Bradfield
Carlos the Jackal
Danny Baker

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Friday, 20 September 2002 10:01 (twenty-three years ago)

Prince William
Matt Damon
Damon Albarn

To name just three.

Pete (Pete), Friday, 20 September 2002 10:02 (twenty-three years ago)

sting and freddie ljungberg. actually i'm renowned for being told that i look like people, it's weird.

michael wells (michael w.), Friday, 20 September 2002 10:02 (twenty-three years ago)

this a cool thread, btw.

michael wells (michael w.), Friday, 20 September 2002 10:02 (twenty-three years ago)

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Friday, 20 September 2002 10:10 (twenty-three years ago)

louis therouax (sp?)

jel -- (jel), Friday, 20 September 2002 10:10 (twenty-three years ago)

The late Princess of Wales, except that I am very much alive of course (but nursing a hangover)

C J (C J), Friday, 20 September 2002 10:20 (twenty-three years ago)

Sigourney Weaver, Parker Posey, Wallis Simpson, Coco Chanel. Go figure.

suzy (suzy), Friday, 20 September 2002 10:58 (twenty-three years ago)

Didn't we do this before in the mists of time?

I used to get Anita Pallenberg and Peter Holmstrom quite a bit.

kate, Friday, 20 September 2002 11:00 (twenty-three years ago)

When I was leaner: Morrissey & Elvis Costello.

Jez, Friday, 20 September 2002 11:11 (twenty-three years ago)

1) When i was little (6 or so) my brother and sister used to tell me i looked like Woody Allen. I had no idea at that point who he was but knew it couldn't be good if they were comparing us (evil older siblings)

2) While paying the bill in a restaurant in NYC, the cashier told me i looked like a cross between "a handsome sammy davis jr and robert de niro in angel heart"

When i looked dubious she insisted it was a compliment but i can't even imagine how someone could come up with that combo.

H (Heruy), Friday, 20 September 2002 11:12 (twenty-three years ago)

My (and Laura's) opinion: Ken Stott.

Nath's opinion: Rob Dougan :-)

Marcello Carlin, Friday, 20 September 2002 11:13 (twenty-three years ago)

I used to look like Jocky Wilson when I was about 6. Now celebrities get angst ridden because they don't look like me.

Dave B (daveb), Friday, 20 September 2002 11:22 (twenty-three years ago)

I get a lot of odd comparisons that don't have anything to do with me except for the fact I have red hair (Molly Ringwald, Alyson Hannigan, Gillian Anderson), but my all time favorite was when my sister told me I looked like Marilyn Manson.

Nicole (Nicole), Friday, 20 September 2002 11:36 (twenty-three years ago)

I had a Minor Threat picture on my desktop, and at least two people said, "I didn't know you sang in a band? When's that from?" but I think it's just 'cause I have a shaved head more than anything else...

OCP (OCP), Friday, 20 September 2002 11:40 (twenty-three years ago)

I always thought that they could use the Celeb lookalike technique on such shows as Crimewatch.

The man accused of sexually assaulting 87 yr old Glennis Mason, is approx 14 stone, heavy build and bares a facial resemblance to the Prime Minister Tony Blair, and has a Brian Eno haircut (circa 1972).

kinski (kinski), Friday, 20 September 2002 11:52 (twenty-three years ago)

ummmmmmmmmmm, John Malkovich......apparently.

gazza, Friday, 20 September 2002 11:55 (twenty-three years ago)

peter sellers.
and always john lennon. i thought this would stop when i cut my hair short, but since i grew the moustache i'm on my srgt peppers period.

joan vich (joan vich), Friday, 20 September 2002 12:03 (twenty-three years ago)

i get mistaken for chino from the deftones alot

chaki (chaki), Friday, 20 September 2002 12:05 (twenty-three years ago)

I've been mistaken for Krist Novaselic before.

Colin Meeder (Mert), Friday, 20 September 2002 12:19 (twenty-three years ago)

Daisy from Spaced. I know you're all jealous...

alex, Friday, 20 September 2002 12:44 (twenty-three years ago)

Daisy from Spaced k-ROWR

Alan (Alan), Friday, 20 September 2002 12:45 (twenty-three years ago)

i'm having trubs reconciling ken stott and rob dougan...

me, i don't look like no one. altho someone said i was "just like" ryan phillipe in cruel intentions. but only in cruel intentions.

bob zemko (bob), Friday, 20 September 2002 13:06 (twenty-three years ago)

julio, you did that on purpose you mystery wag.

bob zemko (bob), Friday, 20 September 2002 13:08 (twenty-three years ago)

BAH CHIZ I don't think I look like anyone famous.

Sarah (starry), Friday, 20 September 2002 13:19 (twenty-three years ago)

TIGGER!

Pete (Pete), Friday, 20 September 2002 13:26 (twenty-three years ago)

Allegedly: Juiliette Binoche, Audrey Tautou
Reality: Winona Ryder? We both look like racoons

Miss Laura, Friday, 20 September 2002 13:32 (twenty-three years ago)

Apart from Tigger.

Sarah (starry), Friday, 20 September 2002 13:39 (twenty-three years ago)

Weirdly I've just had an e-mail from my mate Lucas comparing me to Carol Decker (bastard). And also Kirsty McColl.

Anna (Anna), Friday, 20 September 2002 13:48 (twenty-three years ago)

For sufficiently small values of celebrity: Sue Harshe of Scrawl or Susan Marshall of the Afghan Whigs.

j.lu (j.lu), Friday, 20 September 2002 13:50 (twenty-three years ago)

just like the devil

or tom verlaine....

mike (ro)bott, Friday, 20 September 2002 16:15 (twenty-three years ago)

I have been told that I look like Darius Rucker, Denzel Washington and Jesse L. Martin. I remain dubious. (My brother kind of looks like Ice Cube's character in "Barbershop", though.)

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 20 September 2002 16:20 (twenty-three years ago)

Allegedly James McNew of Yo La Tengo, which I regard as bemusing but fun. :-) I've also gotten Howard Stern, which fills me with rage.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 20 September 2002 16:23 (twenty-three years ago)

The one I get a lot: Jonathan Taylor Thomas, ex-star of Home Improvement.

The one I've gotten twice recently: Val Kilmer. Dunno why.

Yancey (ystrickler), Friday, 20 September 2002 16:28 (twenty-three years ago)

''I've also gotten Howard Stern, which fills me with rage.''

yes if you curled your hair and you took off yer glasses then howard stern would be reasonable hehehe...

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Friday, 20 September 2002 16:31 (twenty-three years ago)

Mr. Potatohead

Arthur (Arthur), Friday, 20 September 2002 16:51 (twenty-three years ago)

Ah, but dear Julio, I already have wavy hair and Howard does often wear glasses, so you see the problem...

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 20 September 2002 17:01 (twenty-three years ago)

It is very true about Jel (Louis Theroux) and Marcello (Ken Stott). I don't look like Mr Potato Head, but I do look rather like a potato, though I can't think of any celebrity potatoes just now.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Friday, 20 September 2002 17:52 (twenty-three years ago)

Daryl Hannah.

Graham (graham), Friday, 20 September 2002 17:57 (twenty-three years ago)

Nobody ever tells me I look like anyone. Except for some German soap star; German girls always giggle at me.

nabisco (nabisco), Friday, 20 September 2002 17:59 (twenty-three years ago)

I can confirm Ned looks very much like Howard Stern.

I've gotten Anthony Perkins a few times. I don't really see it, but I guess it's not so bad. He was a matinee idol in his youth, after all.

Sean (Sean), Friday, 20 September 2002 18:01 (twenty-three years ago)

One man told me that I looked like Robert Redford, but as I'd just told him that he looked like Marilyn Monroe he may not have been entirely serious. In my youth, when I had long curly hair and wore dark glasses a lot I did get Ian Hunter, but so did everyone with long curly hair and shades then.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Friday, 20 September 2002 18:05 (twenty-three years ago)

German girls always giggle at me.

This may be because "das Nitsuh" is German for "man with great big schlong".

(The preceeding may not be true.)

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 20 September 2002 18:09 (twenty-three years ago)

When I was younger and on a shitload of drugs and my hair color changed every three minutes I used to get Perry Farrell a bit, but I am inclined to think that was just a fantasy on the part of the Jane's Addiction fans I was sleeping with. Now apparently I don't look like anyone famous (although someone not too long ago told me I looked like Ralph Fiennes which just proves that people will say anything to flatter and get laid hahaha).

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Friday, 20 September 2002 19:00 (twenty-three years ago)

It might not be true, Dan, and yet one wonders about this great knowledge you claim to have.

"Ja, das Nitsuh ist der Klingfahrkunst!"

"Er...okay."

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 20 September 2002 19:02 (twenty-three years ago)

Since I failed to get a rise out of Ned, I'll admit I was kidding about the Howard Stern thing.

Sean (Sean), Friday, 20 September 2002 19:28 (twenty-three years ago)

Then all is well. ;-)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 20 September 2002 20:06 (twenty-three years ago)

Fred Flintsone
George Wendt

brg30 (brg30), Friday, 20 September 2002 20:27 (twenty-three years ago)

The lead singer in JJ72, or so I've been told. Mark Greaney, he's called. My dad taught him actually. There's a piece of useless info for you.

weasel diesel (K1l14n), Friday, 20 September 2002 21:24 (twenty-three years ago)

people have said i look like sonya echobelly, the straight haired one out of shakespeare's sister, and natalie portman.

although it would be nice if it was true, i TOTALLY DO NOT look ANYTHING like any of them. i think people only said this to me because i had a similar haircut, build, and/or haircolour.

i can't think of any celebrities i look like. i'm kinda weird looking.

sand.y, Friday, 20 September 2002 21:59 (twenty-three years ago)

All those celebrities look the same to me....

Matt (Matt), Friday, 20 September 2002 22:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I look like a handful of Japanese and Korean celebrities.
Or alternately, Jet Li but skinnier, with bangs, a different shaped nose, less square-headed, more almond shaped eyes, etc. etc. etc.

Honda, Friday, 20 September 2002 22:51 (twenty-three years ago)

the hulk.

jess (dubplatestyle), Friday, 20 September 2002 22:58 (twenty-three years ago)

So, Honda, that's not at all like Jet Li, then? A shame - he is gorgeous.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Friday, 20 September 2002 23:18 (twenty-three years ago)

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Friday, 20 September 2002 23:26 (twenty-three years ago)

i grew up across the street from a baby that looked like phil collins. he died as a baby so he probably still does. it was sad, then we had my brother's high school graduation party on the lawn.

keith (keithmcl), Saturday, 21 September 2002 01:18 (twenty-three years ago)

that's a beautiful story.

jess (dubplatestyle), Saturday, 21 September 2002 01:19 (twenty-three years ago)

I've gotten

miki berenyi
phoebe cates
mia sara
bette davis
jennifer lopez

ha! I wish. I think people are just trying to borrow money from me.

felicity (felicity), Saturday, 21 September 2002 02:20 (twenty-three years ago)

Cher before she had plastic surgery.

gothicblue, Saturday, 21 September 2002 02:53 (twenty-three years ago)

Ones I've gotten most frequently:

Christina Ricci
Thora Birch
Molly Ringwald
Ione Sky
Jessica Alba
Majandra Delfino

Do I look the slightest bit like any of these people? No.

Melissa W (Melissa W), Saturday, 21 September 2002 02:55 (twenty-three years ago)

But as the Spain picture demonstrates, you easily rival them all for general hotness, so need for complaining!

Ned Raggett (Ned), Saturday, 21 September 2002 03:08 (twenty-three years ago)

Paul McCartney , the kid from Harold and Maude, and Conor Oberst.

.
um.
...and PAUL REUBENS!!

gabriel rodriguez-doerr (gabe), Saturday, 21 September 2002 03:47 (twenty-three years ago)

though that last one was only once and i refuse it.

i refuse it.

i refuse it.

gabriel rodriguez-doerr (gabe), Saturday, 21 September 2002 03:49 (twenty-three years ago)

Brandon's dad in 90210

electric sound of jim (electricsound), Saturday, 21 September 2002 04:28 (twenty-three years ago)

i don't think i really look like anyone but, to my bafflement, i've been told that i kinda resemble: brendan fraser (yeah if he was a weedy pasty short kid), ronan keating ( yeah if he was a weedier and pastier and shorter kid) and topher grace (yeah if he...oh, wait.)

mitch lastnamewithheld (mitchlnw), Saturday, 21 September 2002 08:46 (twenty-three years ago)

oh yeah and i think on a thread somewhere here mark s cast me as a young rip torn in 'the man who fell to earth'. i haven't seen that film, what does young rip torn look like? as scary as old rip torn?

mitch lastnamewithheld (mitchlnw), Saturday, 21 September 2002 08:52 (twenty-three years ago)

Dr Kahu, in stupid Kiwi soap, "Shortland Street".

10 years ago (shortly after his death, may he RIP), Freddie Mercury.
No bluddy hell, I don't mean I looked like him shortly after he died, OK?! (well, I hope that's not what they meant).

Perry Bernard (panterus), Saturday, 21 September 2002 09:12 (twenty-three years ago)

Er, when unshaven+ponytailed++grinning+nekkid, I look like Richard D James at the end of the "Come To Daddy" video.

Some mentalist once compared me to Keanu Reeves. WTF?!?!? etc

(& I think spectra looks like Tracey Thorn & rainy looks like (whatever period) Madonna.)

Ess Kay (esskay), Saturday, 21 September 2002 09:24 (twenty-three years ago)

None.

I have however been told that I look like Terence Stamp, John Peel & Rick Stein. Sadly ALL of these are flattering comparisons.

Mooro (Mooro), Saturday, 21 September 2002 09:41 (twenty-three years ago)

I'm the spitting image of Orson Bean.

James Blount (James Blount), Saturday, 21 September 2002 10:02 (twenty-three years ago)

Young Rip Torn = Ronan Keating, approximately.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Saturday, 21 September 2002 10:31 (twenty-three years ago)

When I had long hair I got Jamie Oliver a bit, fucking nightmare. People actually used to say it everywhere, I'd hear them on buses and on the street and things and curse to myself. Still now my hair is shorter I look like noone.

Ronan (Ronan), Saturday, 21 September 2002 11:40 (twenty-three years ago)

Gary Oldman
Jay Kai (when my hair was long)
When I was younger - Kenny Everett

Fuzzy, Saturday, 21 September 2002 11:57 (twenty-three years ago)

http://rushmore.shootangle.com/images/PKschwartzman.gif

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Saturday, 21 September 2002 12:13 (twenty-three years ago)

I've gotten Jim Morrison and Carrot Top. And Beck, thankfully.

Daniel_Rf, Saturday, 21 September 2002 12:21 (twenty-three years ago)

Ooh Victor!

I got told I look a bit like Jennifer from Royal Trux. Also Kurt Cobain, I think it was the hair.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Saturday, 21 September 2002 13:21 (twenty-three years ago)

Ronan, I assume that you deliberately write no one as noone as an invitation? I don't think you look much like Peter Noone.

People who look like me don't become celebrities, sadly.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Saturday, 21 September 2002 13:23 (twenty-three years ago)

John Cusack, a younger Ray Winstone and Camus.

To name just three. ahem.

Ian SPACK, Saturday, 21 September 2002 16:37 (twenty-three years ago)

Someone once told me I looked like a young Albert Finney.

Reader, I married her.

Michael Jones (MichaelJ), Saturday, 21 September 2002 16:44 (twenty-three years ago)

Someone told me the other day that I looked like the guitarist from the Lollies, but thinner. Bwah hah hah hah hah!

kate, Saturday, 21 September 2002 18:14 (twenty-three years ago)

alanis morissette, which makes no sense. nothing lately.

Maria (Maria), Saturday, 21 September 2002 21:02 (twenty-three years ago)

''alanis morissette''

ouch!

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Saturday, 21 September 2002 21:07 (twenty-three years ago)

mark s (mark s), Saturday, 21 September 2002 22:23 (twenty-three years ago)

Okay, I was completely wrong, in that he looks nothing like Ronan Keating. I don't know why I imagined he did, back then!

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Saturday, 21 September 2002 22:29 (twenty-three years ago)

that's me alright

mitch lastnamewithheld (mitchlnw), Saturday, 21 September 2002 22:40 (twenty-three years ago)

I get James Spader all the time.

"Hey, aren't you that yuppie drug dealer from the 80's?"

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Sunday, 22 September 2002 00:25 (twenty-three years ago)

A friend recently insisted that I look exactly like Joely Fisher. At first I didn't even remember what Joely Fisher looked like, but then I looked her up and had to admit that my friend had a good point.

Kim (Kim), Sunday, 22 September 2002 04:45 (twenty-three years ago)

Juliette Lewis
Rachel Griffiths
Molly Ringwald
Sandra Bullock
Christina Applegate
Louise Brooks

toraneko (toraneko), Sunday, 22 September 2002 08:11 (twenty-three years ago)

kathleen hanna and madonna (due to a gap in my front teeth and once had blond hair). i don't look like either of them anymore.

di smith (lucylurex), Sunday, 22 September 2002 08:34 (twenty-three years ago)

mark e smith by various unconnected people, robert redford by the PF when my hair was rather luxuriant, a young nicolas lyndhurst according to my mother, that bloke who was on don't try this at home and dr barker (which was scarily accurate, wish i could remember his name) and, according to several people in glasgow, the dead one from black lace, the bastards...

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Sunday, 22 September 2002 09:21 (twenty-three years ago)

if Mark E Smith were to have a son with Nicholas Lyndhurst, he would look exactly like you, Steve. I am envious of all these people who get compared to James Spader and Jessica Alba and Madonna and gorgeous people like that.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Sunday, 22 September 2002 10:59 (twenty-three years ago)

there are 4 molly ringwalds on this thread. scary!

gareth (gareth), Sunday, 22 September 2002 11:02 (twenty-three years ago)

heh mark s looks nothing like that.

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Sunday, 22 September 2002 11:51 (twenty-three years ago)

mitch lastnamewithheld (mitchlnw), Sunday, 22 September 2002 12:02 (twenty-three years ago)

Mitch Lastnamewithheld (mitchlnw), Sunday, 22 September 2002 12:07 (twenty-three years ago)

today I got told I look like harry potter (movie version)!!

Queen G might be wanting more info.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Sunday, 22 September 2002 16:06 (twenty-three years ago)

I have never been told I look like a celebrity!

rosemary (rosemary), Sunday, 22 September 2002 16:30 (twenty-three years ago)

I look like no celebrity, but when I was canvassing for USPIRG I met George Clinton's father!

Aaron Grossman (aajjgg), Sunday, 22 September 2002 21:05 (twenty-three years ago)

Daisy from Spaced (things in common: hapless, fondness of glasses, writery pretentions) and Drew Barrymore (things in common: blond hair). Odd, considering I feel like Kathy Burke at her worst most days.

Madeleine, Sunday, 22 September 2002 21:27 (twenty-three years ago)

I've gotten Mike Myers (either as Austin Powers or "that guy in Wayne's World") and even John Lennon. I can't see it. Patrick Fugit in Almost Famous is much closer to the mark.

Justyn Dillingham (Justyn Dillingham), Sunday, 22 September 2002 21:58 (twenty-three years ago)

You know how Cher was all normal-looking in the movie "Suspect"? My mother looked EXACTLY like her at that time. SCARILY like her.

Maria (Maria), Sunday, 22 September 2002 22:23 (twenty-three years ago)

Paul McCartney , the kid from Harold and Maude, and Conor Oberst.

You look like Bud Cort!?!!

Mandee, Monday, 23 September 2002 01:19 (twenty-three years ago)

Guh. Melanie Griffith. Jennifer Connelly. Meg Ryan. That bitchy girl Amber from "Clueless". Back in the Lewinksky era, people would ask me if I was Monica Lewinsky, which, after a while, I found kind of insulting. What a dumb question. Oh, and I think the most people have told me I look like Cindy Sherman, which I find a bit weird.

Mandee, Monday, 23 September 2002 01:26 (twenty-three years ago)

or tom verlaine....
Oooooh! Really?

Livvie, Monday, 23 September 2002 02:56 (twenty-three years ago)

Oh yeah, I've gotten Monica Lewinsky before as well.

Melissa W (Melissa W), Monday, 23 September 2002 03:43 (twenty-three years ago)

Ian Curtis, back when I was really depressed and betterlooking. Mark E. Smith but that was more of a likeness in personality etc. I think.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 23 September 2002 04:21 (twenty-three years ago)

haha RickyT would swear BLIND that i looked like molly ringwald too, when i was younger and had short-ish red hair!

katie (katie), Monday, 23 September 2002 11:28 (twenty-three years ago)

BAH I am now even MORE upset that I do not look like any slebz!!!

Sarah (starry), Monday, 23 September 2002 12:09 (twenty-three years ago)

I used to look like Norman Blake, now, no-one.

chris (chris), Monday, 23 September 2002 12:15 (twenty-three years ago)

(i bet you look like molly ringwald too sarah. after all, from what i can make out having red hair practically guarantees it!)

katie (katie), Monday, 23 September 2002 12:18 (twenty-three years ago)

I look a lot like Andrew Thomas too.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 23 September 2002 13:48 (twenty-three years ago)

Actually, now that I am thinking more about this Cindy Sherman comparison, I think it's just because I have wig-like hair. Someone insert a picture of my coif, goddamnit.

Mandee, Monday, 23 September 2002 17:10 (twenty-three years ago)

I used to look like Norman Blake, now, no-one.
Spake.

N. (nickdastoor), Sunday, 29 September 2002 13:32 (twenty-three years ago)

yeah, i look like bud cort.
which means i better hurry up and die before thirty.

gabriel rodriguez-doerr (gabe), Sunday, 29 September 2002 15:45 (twenty-three years ago)

Sam looks like Bud Cort too.

N. (nickdastoor), Sunday, 29 September 2002 15:59 (twenty-three years ago)

Mandee, how's this one?

Mark C (Mark C), Sunday, 29 September 2002 16:20 (twenty-three years ago)

back when I was young and skinny and lacking in facial hair I was told by lots of people that I looked like Matthew Broderick. not anymore, though.

M Matos (M Matos), Sunday, 29 September 2002 21:52 (twenty-three years ago)

I have been told that I look like Hugh Grant, Russ Abbott and Keith Emerson.

MarkH (MarkH), Monday, 30 September 2002 14:03 (twenty-three years ago)

Ooh last night Stevie told me that he and Tim were watching Romy and Micheles High School Reunion and they both thought that I looked like Janeane Garofalo!! Hooray hooray hooray hooray I look like a sleb hooray and one who is GREBT also! +++++++++++++++++!

Sarah (starry), Monday, 30 September 2002 14:08 (twenty-three years ago)

I'm dying to say L'il Mo (re: Sarah) even though she doesn't really at all hmm.

Graham (graham), Monday, 30 September 2002 14:13 (twenty-three years ago)

(NB that was before I just looked at the John Major thread)

Graham (graham), Monday, 30 September 2002 14:16 (twenty-three years ago)

Yes, I can see the Starry / Garofalo link, though I never knew that was her name.

Sorvino looks fabulous in that fabulous film, doesn't she?

the pinefox, Monday, 30 September 2002 14:17 (twenty-three years ago)

dleone (dleone), Monday, 30 September 2002 16:08 (twenty-three years ago)

For a brief moment, I thought the Sorvino that the Pinefox was discussing was Paul.

stevo (stevo), Tuesday, 1 October 2002 07:22 (twenty-three years ago)

Nitsuh: your eye rolling pictures posted before made you like Spike Lee playing "Mars Blackmon" from those vintage air jordan ads.

bnw (bnw), Tuesday, 1 October 2002 07:53 (twenty-three years ago)

Sarah, you don't look like Janeane Garofalo.

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 1 October 2002 07:55 (twenty-three years ago)

This question hurts because people tell me I look like Chris facking Martin. I look more surly than he does - I've also been told I resemble Mark from Westlife, and best of all, Ed O'Brien, both of which probably make me punchable in addition to aforementioned Clodplay man.

Damian (Damian), Tuesday, 1 October 2002 09:01 (twenty-three years ago)

This question hurts because people tell me I look like Chris facking Martin.

Come to the US, you will have sorority girls throwing themselves at you (they all heart Coldplay).

Nicole (Nicole), Tuesday, 1 October 2002 11:09 (twenty-three years ago)

They may heart Coldplay, but do they heart people who look like Coldplay? [this is the case with all celebrities, obv.]

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 1 October 2002 11:16 (twenty-three years ago)

I'm guessing yes? I mean, I'm sure they'd be all over Dave Matthews like a cheap suit, and Coldplay is pretty much the same deal. Plus, you have the english accent which is always supposedly "adorable".

Nicole (Nicole), Tuesday, 1 October 2002 11:19 (twenty-three years ago)

Mr. Loverman: Jabba.

not that Norman Blake Tracer, the jangly one.

N I am going to kill you, as will Vicky if she ever reads that.

chris (chris), Tuesday, 1 October 2002 11:42 (twenty-three years ago)

However, this probably wouldn't work for "someone who looked like Snoopy". That person annoys me so much, people shouldn't look like Snoopy (though I won't go so far as to say people shouldn't look like cartoons).

Nicole (Nicole), Tuesday, 1 October 2002 11:42 (twenty-three years ago)

Well thanks Nick you can't let me have one happy moment of self-delusion can you?

Sarah (starry), Tuesday, 1 October 2002 12:06 (twenty-three years ago)

Jody, I second my pal Julio: I was mad about Darlene. I've always adored that kind of attitude (see also Joy in Drop The Dead Donkey, and Cybill's daughter in Ms Shepherd's show). I'm not sure how much Sara Gilbert's looks are important in this. Has she done anything since?

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Tuesday, 1 October 2002 16:31 (twenty-three years ago)

wasn't she in poison ivy?

mark s (mark s), Tuesday, 1 October 2002 16:59 (twenty-three years ago)

She was indeed, but that was not since Roseanne, that was while the show continued. I am just a little surprised at her disappearace since.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Tuesday, 1 October 2002 19:20 (twenty-three years ago)

In High Fidelity, as the customer who asks about Green Day.

j.lu (j.lu), Tuesday, 1 October 2002 19:31 (twenty-three years ago)

Thanks for the tip, j.lu - hardly a career though, is it? I thought she was good, and I'm a bit surprised, though I guess many good actors don't escape from a role as long-lasting as Darlene.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Tuesday, 1 October 2002 19:39 (twenty-three years ago)

Someone told me I looked like Sally Field. I was devastated.

Otherwise, I've not been told I look like anyone famous, but I apparently do look like someone that nearly everyone I meet knows. (Who IS this person and man, does she get around!)

omigod Ess Kay! You think I look like Madonna? That is the greatest and best compliment evah! Especially since I don't think I have ever been compared to any celebrity, normally I get: "You look like my cousin".

Ned's a playa!

James Blount (James Blount), Saturday, 5 October 2002 23:28 (twenty-three years ago)

None, for reasons similar to Martin's. I was once told my new haircut was Stephen Malkmus Hair (this was six years ago so not quite the blatant insult it would be in these mullet-esque days), which made me happy for an afternoon even though it was entirely untrue. I'd been aiming for Laetitia Sadier Hair, anyway, and failed there too.

In one of those small world type things, it seems one of the cofounders of Strange Fruit had a friend who looked a bit like me back when I had short hair; I was very pleased when Steve from Cody and Cathode said hi to me at a Cody gig once until a few months later at another Cody gig his girlfriend (?) spoke to me and then said, "oh, sorry, aren't you [x]?" when I looked confused and I realised it wasn't me he'd been meaning to say hi to at all. Waah.

Rebecca (reb), Sunday, 6 October 2002 00:15 (twenty-three years ago)

This is so untrue it's untrue.

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 10 October 2002 15:27 (twenty-three years ago)

Well I suppose you are the expert on all things Anna.

Graham (graham), Thursday, 10 October 2002 15:29 (twenty-three years ago)

Ooh - get him. No, I just don't see it, beyond them having curly hair. Their demeanours are so totally different.

When my dad saw the picture here in a Uniqlo magazine advert he claims he was convinced it was me and wondered why I hadn't told him about it. Then he showed me and my mum and we told him he was an idiot. And then he said you shouldn't call your dad an idiot but he always says that. Maybe he means it.

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 10 October 2002 15:44 (twenty-three years ago)

MS only really looks like AF when she does certain looks, but those looks are farely uniquely Anna. Maybe this verging on creepiness territory.

Graham (graham), Thursday, 10 October 2002 15:56 (twenty-three years ago)

People actually say, "You look like Charlotte Ayanna"??!

I seen Kate Winslet on the cover of Bazzar and if I dyed my hair back blonde that'd be what I'd look like lately, so I think maybe I should do it to test the theorum.

After seeing an Idlewild video on 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks' I realised I have a - unfortunate - passing resemblance to the lead singer, Roddy Woomble(?). Yes, God is cruel. As if my life wasn't bad enough already.
I'm not as... porridgy as him though. Darker.
Ah well, we all have our cross to bear... [sighhhhh]

Sam (chirombo), Wednesday, 22 January 2003 09:01 (twenty-three years ago)

I've been told by a few distinct sources that I look like Edward Norton. This comparison is only made when I'm wearing a tie, for some reason. (I don't see it at all)

Dan I. (Dan I.), Wednesday, 22 January 2003 09:40 (twenty-three years ago)

I've been told by a few distinct sources that I look like Edward Norton.

Me too and I see the resemblance, especially when his hair is longer, tho my features are probably softer, and I'm shorter and more Jewish-looking and wear glasses. I've also gotten Matthew Broderick (less so) and once someone said James Spader (huh?).

I think someone on ILX said I look like Jimmy Fallon, but I don't know who he is. The worst one I've been told was Gareth Gates but I had TONS of gel in my hair that day so i forgave them.

juliette lewis, fyi

I didn't see it at the time, but now I look at this photo and I realize I looked exactly like that when I was about 10 years younger.

Now, I think I look more like this individual:

http://www.muellerspasta.com/images/rachael_ray.jpg

rachael ray, fyi

Without the helmet hair, of course. She doesn't always wear helmet hair, though. Here's the way her hair normally is, i.e. looser:

Oh yes, add glasses to the above et voila, you've got me!

Argh Gareth will now forever be associated with Madame La Rougiere in my head.

Melissa W (Melissa W), Thursday, 8 May 2003 05:25 (twenty-two years ago)

According to those who tell me these things...

...when I'm on stage, sweating like a klansman at the Apollo, whilst wearing Terminator-style sunglasses, I apparently bear a pretty striking resemblance to Layne Staley.

...when I'm not on stage and am just some tall mellow bespectacled mook, I'm somewhere between M. Doughty from Soul Coughing and Shaggy from Scooby Doo.

Marcel Post doesn't half look like Nordicskillz...

I look like a slightly thinner, slightly less raddled Phil Mitchell. Gah.

Mark C (Mark C), Thursday, 8 May 2003 13:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Before i had head shaved was apparently Will Self, ever since have been Dermot O'Leary /"Vin Diesel without muscles". I WISH, in any one of these cases.

Alex in Rotherham (alexfack), Thursday, 8 May 2003 14:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Marcel Post doesn't half look like Nordicskillz...

Don't see it myself. Much too jowly...

Nordicskillz (Nordicskillz), Thursday, 8 May 2003 14:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Last week at the laundromat, a drunk, middle-aged black woman turned to me and said, "You look like Prince! Are you Prince?" (Note: I am white, unfashionable, and have a thick beard. But: "Raspberry Beret" was on the radio at the time.) I politely said no. She started dancing by the dryers. "When you comin' out with a new record?" I decided to play along, so I said, "Probably a couple years." "A couple years? Why so long?" "Well, I wanna make it a good one." She seemed satisfied with that. On her way out, she said, "You cute, too." Umm, score!

jaymc (jaymc), Thursday, 8 May 2003 14:42 (twenty-two years ago)

You better make it good, you underachieving little bastard.

a. You are cuter than that, Mark.
b. I look like a more raddled Phil Mitchell, which is pretty distressing.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Thursday, 8 May 2003 20:59 (twenty-two years ago)

khm, khm. there're days when John Scofield looks a lot like me. once i was truly caught off guard by one of his album covers too.

Also I better get famous before our own Stevem does.

Chris V. (Chris V), Friday, 9 May 2003 16:27 (twenty-two years ago)

I was told that I had a slight resemblance to Ann-Margret this weekend.

That's a close approximation of moi, or so I've heard.

Baked Bean Teeth (Baked Bean Teeth), Tuesday, 24 June 2003 13:39 (twenty-two years ago)

I've heard Pee-Wee Herman and Rowan Atkinson. So you can tell my self-esteem must be HARD AS HELL because of not committing suicide yet.

Neudonym, Tuesday, 24 June 2003 13:49 (twenty-two years ago)

i am told i am a dead ringer for hayden, the canadian folk singer, and had girls stop me on the street going HAYDEN HAYDEN...

and some say i look like the lead singer of the tyde???? doubt it. i am a geek in bad office clothes.

doom-e, Tuesday, 24 June 2003 13:52 (twenty-two years ago)

i get told i look like christina ricci like once a week, especially if i'm wearing red lipstick. sometimes i get katie holmes. once, i got posh spice. (uh...)
when i had red hair no one ever told me i looked like anyone. hair is a big thing. i just think ppl compare me to every short-nosed brunette.
katie is much darker and thinner than me...i'm pale and curvy like christina so i can sorta see it.

praying mantis (praying mantis), Tuesday, 24 June 2003 14:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Jarvis, WHY DID YOU CHANGE???????????

Ally (mlescaut), Tuesday, 24 June 2003 16:37 (twenty-two years ago)

I think you may be confused. He didn't actually become me.

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 24 June 2003 16:39 (twenty-two years ago)

No, he became Skeletor.

Do you get told you look like people who don't look like you often, N.? I get told I look like Uma Thurman by like half of my workplace, despite rather definitvely not looking like Uma Thurman (though my sister has some resemblance). This is similar to you being under the impression you look like Posh Spice.

Ally (mlescaut), Tuesday, 24 June 2003 16:44 (twenty-two years ago)

THREE different people have said I look like Posh Spice. Including my mum.

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 24 June 2003 16:54 (twenty-two years ago)

maybe she's getting all that plastic surgery to look like YOU.

teeny (teeny), Tuesday, 24 June 2003 17:01 (twenty-two years ago)

I've got like 12 who said I looked like Uma Thurman but it don't mean they're all right, I mean honestly now.

Ally (mlescaut), Tuesday, 24 June 2003 17:15 (twenty-two years ago)

Are you sure they aren't just trying to crack onto you? (Uma Thurman = generally considered hott therefore "You look like Uma Thurman" = "I want to have sex with you so perhaps you would like this compliment".)

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 24 June 2003 17:18 (twenty-two years ago)

I retract that comment if your mother is one of those who made the comparison.

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 24 June 2003 17:18 (twenty-two years ago)

ps. it is quite funny that you linked to a picture of Uma Thurman, like we wouldn't know who she was.

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 24 June 2003 17:20 (twenty-two years ago)

the guy in the white hat in the middle of N's selection reminds me of gareth

it took me too long to work out who it really was/was from!

stevem (blueski), Tuesday, 24 June 2003 17:26 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm glad to amuse you, N. That's what I live for.

Anyway YES MY MOTHER SAID THAT AND ALSO MY DAD AND MY AUNT AND IF THEY'RE TRYING TO HIT ON ME I'LL BE ILL RIGHT NOW. Strangely, no one who is trying to hit on me ever said that, though my ex was convinced I looked like Liz Hurley (???) and someone in a bar told me I was the spitting image of Geena Davis (?????????????????????????). I think they were quite full of shit.

Ally (mlescaut), Tuesday, 24 June 2003 17:26 (twenty-two years ago)

that Osbourne and EVERY SINGLE FAT GIRl ON TV. Except that woman off days of our lives who is trying to become king of the hospital, or something not entirely dissimilar. BUT HEY Lori from neighbours is PREGNANT to CONNOR ...uh-huh. Oh yes.

but Ozzie is not a 'fat girl' - what about Ozzie's paternity test thing for some old bint he knocked up a few years back - the vasectomy failed! or its all a big lie. i'm sure Sharon will stand by him either way.

stevem (blueski), Thursday, 26 June 2003 13:53 (twenty-two years ago)

neither's kelly, she just has an extraordianarily large head that I'm fairly sure she has to drag on the ground whenst not in front of a camera.

I adore Peppermint Patty. One of my favourite fictional characters.

Now The Shield is back on, I am reminded that I look a bit like a cross between the star of that and a Mitchell brother - more Phil than Grant, sadly.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Monday, 7 July 2003 12:09 (twenty-two years ago)

Now my hair is short, I apparently look like her, according to my boy!

Maybe if you smile a bit more (ie. the mitchell bros never smile!) people wont think this Martin!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Monday, 7 July 2003 12:19 (twenty-two years ago)

Velma from Scooby Doo. When Bryan gets back from his FAP adventures, I will make him post the picture of me in costume.

I smile a lot, PP! And I'm told that the actor behind Phil Mitchell is a charming and likeable man. I get compared to these because of the hair and the heavy build mainly, I think. Grant in particular is far better looking than me, so I don't mind.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Monday, 7 July 2003 17:09 (twenty-two years ago)

People at work reckon Hugh Laurie. ( = They saw 40-somethings last night.) I will admit to some similar mannerisms tho.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Monday, 7 July 2003 19:04 (twenty-two years ago)

I kinda look like that coked-up asian guy in Boogie Nights who wanders around the apartment half-naked and lighting firecrackers.

phil-two (phil-two), Monday, 7 July 2003 20:36 (twenty-two years ago)

I already put the pics up on the What Do You Look Like thread, but at the FAP Sarah said I look like Andy Kauffman and Andrew said I look like a Sergio Argones character.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Monday, 7 July 2003 20:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Miccio totally does look like Andy Kauffman in a weird way. Nick, Sarah, and Carey could all be in Rushmore. Millar is Mark E. Smith crossed with Dennis Leary. That is all.

Ally (mlescaut), Tuesday, 8 July 2003 07:32 (twenty-two years ago)

Some of the other ILXers at the NY FAP said I look like Greg Dulli from Afghan Whigs, which I will take as a compliment instead of as a nice way of saying I'm fat.
http://www.cdconsumer.com/dulli.jpg
I guess there's a slight resemblance.

Speaking of Mark E. Smith, when we went to the Fall show on Sunday, Sarah pointed out that he now looks like the freaky midget from Twin Peaks.

NA. (Nick A.), Tuesday, 8 July 2003 12:11 (twenty-two years ago)

Motherfucker.
Just take my word for it.

NA. (Nick A.), Tuesday, 8 July 2003 12:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Yancey is a bit like Scaramanga's little sidekick. Please don't be offended.

Other than also looking like Phil Mitchell (sigh), can anyone who's met me help work out who I look like? Ailsa, you know me - is there any resemblance at all to BBLB's Dermot, or is that just wishful thinking?

Mark C (Mark C), Tuesday, 8 July 2003 12:29 (twenty-two years ago)

Millar is Mark E. Smith crossed with Dennis Leary. That is all.

Based on the FAP pictures, I think that is scarily otm.

Michael Fawcett (nordicskilla), Monday, 10 November 2003 00:52 (twenty-two years ago)

A ringer for Willie Nelson, minus about 10 years, I hope!

I've been told this so many times in so many venues, I accept it as fact. While in Paraguay (5 weeks) adopting my daughter, a woman who ran a children's store used to run out on the street whenever we'd walk by (Ascunsion) and yell out "Hey Willie".....I wonder if she actually didn't believe I WASN'T him....

I bank teller who I got friendly with back in the 70's once smiled and told me I looked like someone famous....then she said "Charles Manson". What bothered me most was not the comparison but that she said it as if she thought it was a compliment.

A father-in-law to be saw me for the first time and said, "Jesus Christ"....then he explained that, to him, I LOOKED like Jesus Christ.

A barmaid I was friendly with (70's) said I reminded her of someone...I was expecting someone hippie looking because of the beard and hair....she said I sounded like "John Dean" of Watergate Fame. Until that time, I'd never thought of myself speaking in a monotone.

ed dill (eddill), Monday, 10 November 2003 02:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh boy, one of those "early posts" from me on this forum is on this thread. Almost seven months ago and I've certainly gotten much better at reading previous posts before posting something on my own.

Right now I do indeed think I look like a cross between Linda Ronstadt and Selena Quintanilla (back when she was alive, of course -- deceased and we're getting into totally disgusting territory). Which sucks bigtime because that means I've got a case of how much more bloody ethnic can I possibly look? Grrr. I surprise no one. Hmph.

All you lucky duckies who get compared to fairer folks. Gah.

those three really are the most physically attractive celebrities there are (IMO). being compared to them should always be taken as nothing but the highest of compliments.

Aah, I just saw this! That creepy British guy does look kind of like me, at least in that pic. I wish I looked like Cameron from Ferris Bueller's Day Off, but my face is too fat and my eyes aren't blue. I got the Greg Dulli comparison again about a month ago, this time from a total stranger. That was funny.

Some girl on the train a few weeks ago mistook me for Tara Reid. Like, nonstop harrassing me for an autograph type of mistaking, and ringing her friend and shrieking "I'm on a train with Tara Reid!" type of mistaking. I ended up signing an autograph as Tara Reid just to make her piss off!! For comparison,

Tara Reid:

You do look a little like Gillian Anderson.

NA (Nick A.), Tuesday, 11 November 2003 16:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Haha wtf? How does that not mean anything? Weirdo. I was topless on the train though, so you might have something there.*

*I'm not making this up, the bathroom was consistently "in use" the entire trip and I had to change my shirt so I just did it right there in front of crazy Tara Reid fan.

OMG, delayed (MUCH delayed) reaction time!

there isn't anything wrong with looking 'ethnic', dee! i'm GLAD that i have what pretty much amounts to a permanent tan. also, i never get sunburn!

But hon, geeta, you have your intellect to bank on! Plus you know a GREAT DEAL about a great many things. And, besides, your brand of "ethnicity" doesn't make you look angrier than a pack of wild wolves if you happen to be 20 lbs overweight or heavier.

I'm in a total no-win situation here -- I couldn't even get by with my looks if I needed it. ;)

(And yes, I still look like a mixture of Linda Ronstadt and Selena Quintanilla. Argh. Curses.)

Other than that, the only celebrity anyone's said I look like is Yao Ming -- this having been said by a first grader for whom I substitute taught once. I'm not Asian, nor am I staggeringly tall, so I'm not exactly sure where he was coming from. I *was* pretty much taller than him, though.

i got 'elijah wood' today, making a total of three comparisons. it's rather flattering, because i'm kinda ugly and he's kinda pretty. i asked if they weren't maybe thinking of gollum. actually, my second last elijah comparison was my fave celeb comp ever - this girl brushed past me and said "hi elijah!" really loud. i wasn't sure what had happened or if she was even talking to me, but then she stood a few meters away and was pointing at me and talking to her friend, and started shouting "elijah! elijah!" and waving at me. i waved back and pointed at myself and made a "who, me?" suprised gesture. i should have asked her to marry me.

i didn't realize so many americans realized who eddie izzard was until about 4 years ago
people started asking if i was ms. mr. izzard. i get it ALL THE TIME. and the sad part is
it's basically true... and has been the impetus for various bouts of yo-yo dieting.

sometimes i'll try to answer as he would... it's worked a few times.
this happened a lot more before that movie that came out with him and matt leblanc.
pity the fool that stars in a wwii crossdressing comedy with joey from friends and
comes out unscathed... i feel as though eddie izzard is culpable for damge to MY
reputation, on that front.

I have, at various times, and various hair colours, been compared to Eddi Reader (most common one), Lorraine McIntosh out of Deacon Blue, a Fraggle, Donna McPhail and (last night) someone out of the long jump in the Olympics.

I don't look like any of them.

Anna = Ana Matronic, obv. Is is "the guy from The Raveonettes" that you're talking about, or is there a guitarist that plays with the two main people?

IE is it this Paul Giamatti-like figure?

So is it..

him?

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 13:48 (twenty years ago)

Yes him. Far more so when he's not throwing rock poses, although it's not unknown for Matt to do the same.

Anna (Anna), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 13:57 (twenty years ago)

You aren't the first to say Ana Matronic BTW, esp. if I've straightened my hair.

Anna (Anna), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 13:58 (twenty years ago)

Am I the first if I'm just repeating what I said last Glasto?

If the guitarist for the Raveonettes wasn't throwing rock poses every single second he was onstage (Soundtrack of our Lives-style) then I'd ask for my money back. Were they brilliant?

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 14:02 (twenty years ago)

No, her and Marcie Bolan from the Von Bondies are quite popular comparisons at the moment.

The Raveonettes were brilliant. I had a very good time.

Anna (Anna), Wednesday, 16 March 2005 14:33 (twenty years ago)

I just remember, this lady I used to work with called me "Goose" cuz she thought I looked like the guy that played Goose in Top Gun, aka that bald doctor from the olden days of ER.

* = this from a "blind date" woman I "met" online (AOL) in `93...the "date" in question ended up like a Kafka novel....the stuff of nightmares)

** = this was said to me by a large gentleman as I was drunkenly exiting Max Fish (bar on the Lower East Side). Inexplicably, I interpretted the comment as an insult, and retorted with: "Oh yeah? Well you look like John Goodman". I was swiftly ushered out of the bar by my friends, fearing for my health.

Once me, him and some pals were on the tube, and a third mate got all giggly about something silly. Atkinson-mate saw the chance to move in for the kill. He turned to a big poster with a buffoonish, grinning face and was all: "this is what you're like". It was Mr Bean's face. It was a beautiful moment.

At a show a couple of weeks ago a very dunk dude said I was a "Not ugly Brian Posehn looking motherfucker." I have no idea how to take that.

Ones I have gotten, from most to least flattering I think: Richard Gere (totally not, but hey...), Bruce Campbell, Morrissey, Chevy Chase, George W. Bush.

Oh, and Anthony Perkins and Don Grady (Robbie Douglas from "My Three Sons.") Put those somewhere in the middle there...

I think I've said before but I get compared to celebrities all the fucking time, usually by strangers (eg just now in the pub, drunk guy just saw me & yelled "it's mark bolan!")

Charles II, Jesus Christ, Che Guevara, D'Artagnan, Russell Brand, Frank Zappa, Eddie Vedder, John Lennon, Stephen O'Malley, Hagrid, Johnny Depp, "the fat guy from lost" and Vasco Da Gama are among the ppl I've been told I look like. Also last month I was told I was the exact double of Ross Noble - by Ross Noble.

Susan Sarandon. All of my friends say it, strangers say it. It's the eyes and the red hair.

The only time anyone has ever compared me to a celebrity was weirdly specific- a drunk fratbro type in Philly's El Bar comparing me to Johnny Depp in Secret Window. Which I had never seen, but okay, yes, that is basically my haircut, and basically the glasses I was wearing at the time, and I guess this is my terrifying future

I would imagine so!

Vincent Kartheiser with no hair is the nearest Celebrity WDYLL match I could personally get with. Lazier bods have said Moby, perhaps dozens of times over, because bald + white = Moby regardless of whether you resemble him in any other respect.
