Autechre poll -- ILM ballot poll #57

Message Bookmarked
Bookmark Removed

1. The main poll will include anything attributed to Booth and/or Brown, including anything by Gescom.
1a. We'll also have three side polls: AE albums; AE remixes of other artists; and non-Autechre tracks (Lego Feet, Gescom, Hafler Trio collabs, etc.). That means you can vote for one track twice: once in the main poll, once in a side-poll.
1b. On the Gescom issue, since we don't know who was actually involved in what, I'll just make things easier for us and allow any of it, and if something by Mr. Bola places, oh well.

2. Send your ballots to leeeee [at] gmail [dot] com (5 e's, btw) with the subject line "Autechre ILM Ballot Poll".

3. Deadline will be 2014-09-22 9AM, PDT.

4. If this were a just world, the Radiohead poll would've followed Autechre.

5. LOLZ in the Conference Room; I'd Like to EXCELSIOR some of that

I don't know enough Autechre to vote in this, but I love that ^^^ bleep 10 track.

Malibu Stasi (WilliamC), Monday, 8 September 2014 13:47 (eleven years ago)

Should there be a separate EP side poll? If not, we'll combine that with the albums.

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Monday, 8 September 2014 19:40 (eleven years ago)

In which case Tri Repetae would exclude the Garbage / Anvil Vapre bonus CD.

koogs, Monday, 8 September 2014 19:45 (eleven years ago)

Not averse to a joint ep/lp poll, ep7 makes it a false dichotomy anyway.

ledge, Tuesday, 9 September 2014 09:16 (eleven years ago)

yeah, it's impossible to separate EPs and LPs with Ae

monoprix à dimanche (dog latin), Tuesday, 9 September 2014 09:37 (eleven years ago)

how many tracks, albums, etc. are we putting on our ballots?

ledge, Tuesday, 9 September 2014 14:18 (eleven years ago)

mattresslessness, Tuesday, 9 September 2014 15:05 (eleven years ago)

how many tracks, albums, etc. are we putting on our ballots?

20 tracks following usual point system.

The side-polls: let's say 5 each, unless there are strenuous objections.

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Tuesday, 9 September 2014 16:21 (eleven years ago)

I just realised that EP7 is the last album I really paid attention to, so I have a LOT of catching up to do.

ArchCarrier, Tuesday, 9 September 2014 16:43 (eleven years ago)

This is going to be a challenge. So many good songs. So many weird songs.

octobeard, Tuesday, 9 September 2014 17:53 (eleven years ago)

Thanks for finally starting this up, Leee!!

octobeard, Tuesday, 9 September 2014 17:53 (eleven years ago)

I don't know enough Autechre to vote in this, but I love that ^^^ bleep 10 track.

― Malibu Stasi (WilliamC), Monday, September 8, 2014 6:47 AM (Yesterday)

You will love post-Quaristice Autechre then. Particularly Exai.

octobeard, Tuesday, 9 September 2014 17:58 (eleven years ago)

No prob, octo! Were you not around for our first run of Autechre polls?

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Tuesday, 9 September 2014 18:07 (eleven years ago)

I don't think I was on the board at the time but those threads were awesome, so much to talk about with these guys

OK: albums side-poll will involve EPs as well! Perhaps a mod can edit my top post?

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Wednesday, 10 September 2014 18:49 (eleven years ago)

Combining EPs and albums makes sense. But man that makes whittling down to 5 HARDDDDDD.

octobeard, Wednesday, 10 September 2014 20:35 (eleven years ago)

Making this up as we go along: 10 entries for the albums/EP sidepoll.

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Wednesday, 10 September 2014 20:45 (eleven years ago)

Got the first ballot! Thanks, whoever!

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Wednesday, 10 September 2014 21:25 (eleven years ago)

No worries! I avoided agonising over it too much, but there were still some tough cuts to be made. Looking forward to the results.

cheeseburger, Wednesday, 10 September 2014 21:32 (eleven years ago)

Here's another one to consider: Gescom - "Bronchusix".

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Friday, 12 September 2014 03:53 (eleven years ago)

Thought this was closing this week for some reason. Hooray, another 10 days to spend pointlessly agonising over arbitrary track ordering!

ledge, Friday, 12 September 2014 09:00 (eleven years ago)

I need to admit that as much as I like Autechre, I can never remember a single track title.

EveningStar (Sund4r), Saturday, 13 September 2014 12:14 (eleven years ago)

You mean you can't remember "/]{- /](||) Excerpt" off the top of your head?

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Sunday, 14 September 2014 00:44 (eleven years ago)

Same here Sund4r

Rotating prince game (I am using your worlds), Sunday, 14 September 2014 01:13 (eleven years ago)

I know most of my absolute faves, 20-30 or so. The rest I'm like "which one's that again? [plays smippet] oh yeah".

ledge, Sunday, 14 September 2014 13:42 (eleven years ago)

submitted! found it fairly easy to make a top 30, and a top 10 within those. cutting it down to 20 and final ordering was pretty arbitary. tried to be as even handed as possible across their oeuvre though i clearly prefer a particular 7 year stretch.

ledge, Thursday, 18 September 2014 09:21 (eleven years ago)

ah forgot about this! it's hard to pick faves without a longlist of tracks.

now for the hard choice between pt2ph8 and Outh9X

ledge, Thursday, 18 September 2014 09:57 (eleven years ago)

It's so much easier just going down and ticking all the ones I know I like. It also throws into sharp relief how great LP5 and EP7.2 really are.

I mean that run from Maphive6.1 to Pir is just perfect in every way

Yep.

ledge, Thursday, 18 September 2014 11:52 (eleven years ago)

ledge and Snoopy Doggy Dog Latin, got your ballots! We're at 3!

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Thursday, 18 September 2014 17:15 (eleven years ago)

how do i shot ballot? do i need to assign points or just rank 20 tracks best to not best?

the late great, Thursday, 18 September 2014 17:32 (eleven years ago)

If you rank them 1-20, I'll assign the points.

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Thursday, 18 September 2014 17:34 (eleven years ago)

Using the following scheme: 1:40, 2:36, 3:33, 4:30, 5:28, 6:26, 7:25, 8:24, 9:23, 10:22, 11:21, 12:20, 13:19, 14:18, 15:17, 16:16, 17:15, 18:14, 19:13, 20:12

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Thursday, 18 September 2014 17:54 (eleven years ago)

I wasn't going to because I'm not as hugely into them as I was but, y'know, 5 polls is terrible. Just spent a lovely two hours putting a 20 together.

Leee, got my poll number 6?

kraudive, Thursday, 18 September 2014 22:52 (eleven years ago)

mattresslessness, Thursday, 18 September 2014 22:55 (eleven years ago)

I do expect more to come in later this weekend. I kind of expect ~17 total in the end.

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Thursday, 18 September 2014 22:56 (eleven years ago)

Nothing less than the Spirit of the Age (nakhchivan), Thursday, 18 September 2014 23:00 (eleven years ago)

just voted. This was fun.

Untitled Female Spiderverse (silverfish), Friday, 19 September 2014 03:19 (eleven years ago)

are we supposed to refrain from discussing our ballots until the results come out?

the late great, Friday, 19 September 2014 04:37 (eleven years ago)

In general terms, it's fine, e.g. "Ranking my top 5 is IMPOSSIBLE," but I think that people would like to preserve the element of surprise.

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Friday, 19 September 2014 04:39 (eleven years ago)

oh ok

we vote for 20 remixes? what if i haven't heard 20 remixes, how do i vote?

the late great, Friday, 19 September 2014 04:41 (eleven years ago)

It's so much easier just going down and ticking all the ones I know I like. It also throws into sharp relief how great LP5 and EP7.2 really are.

i did this too, was also surprised by how much it clustered around a few albums

Remix and non-Autechre side-polls are up to 5 tracks each, but the album/EP poll will get up to 10.

Anyone here who could do with an extended deadline?

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Monday, 22 September 2014 00:43 (eleven years ago)

This is proving to be really challenging, nostalgic, and a lot of fun. Very excited to submit my ballot.

octobeard, Monday, 22 September 2014 06:44 (eleven years ago)

I would also have no issues with extending the deadline (would allow me to "check my work" with fresh ears the next day or two)

octobeard, Monday, 22 September 2014 06:45 (eleven years ago)

Great, take your time, the extension might be a couple days, in fact.

"move of ten" is p good, had no idea it existed

mattresslessness, Monday, 22 September 2014 18:50 (eleven years ago)

yeah, move of ten went mostly unnoticed when it was released. It is pretty good, possibly better than oversteps. I voted for one of the tracks in this poll.

Untitled Female Spiderverse (silverfish), Monday, 22 September 2014 19:04 (eleven years ago)

i only voted for early / mid period autechre, have a feeling people are either going to do that or vote mid / late autechre, and the mid-period (say, chiastic slide through ep7) is going to take it in a walk

the late great, Monday, 22 September 2014 19:07 (eleven years ago)

some of us are only voting for mid period!

93. Oasis - pollrunner needed for this one (imago), Monday, 22 September 2014 19:08 (eleven years ago)

Good, that balances out some of us who only voted early period.

Rotating prince game (I am using your worlds), Monday, 22 September 2014 19:10 (eleven years ago)

yeah apparently autechre released some records in the 90s?

93. Oasis - pollrunner needed for this one (imago), Monday, 22 September 2014 19:17 (eleven years ago)

i was always an early/mid fan too but i'm really enjoying some of these later tracks finally. wish i'd warmed to the post-confield albums sooner. strange to think that period is now a few years longer than the 90s run and with just as much variety too from the sound of it.

mattresslessness, Monday, 22 September 2014 19:19 (eleven years ago)

my ballot is almost exclusively late period. Only 4 tracks from the 90s. Kind of weird to consider everything post ep7 to be late period. That's more than half of their total output.

Untitled Female Spiderverse (silverfish), Monday, 22 September 2014 19:33 (eleven years ago)

I don't think I put anything released after 1999 (minus remixes, possibly).

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Monday, 22 September 2014 19:36 (eleven years ago)

I think a lot of nostalgia is guiding my my top 20, but there's just a ton of recent stuff that is just pure ear candy for me... like Flep off of Exai (didn't make my list) or M39 Diffain off of the latest release L-Event (which did make my top 20). These newer songs are utterly amazing and have much more sophistication and are possibly even more expressive, but some simpler and older songs like Key Nell 4 (by Gescom) or Inhake 2 just bring me back my youth and cloud my judgement (though they are epic, and incredible tunes in their own right)

It's almost like we're merging two bands into one poll.

octobeard, Monday, 22 September 2014 19:51 (eleven years ago)

I think I'm going to be more interested in everyone's individual lists than the tallied totals!

octobeard, Monday, 22 September 2014 19:54 (eleven years ago)

there are exquisite tracks on most of their releases since 94 or so

macho nonreal (nakhchivan), Monday, 22 September 2014 19:56 (eleven years ago)

two bands into one poll.

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Monday, 22 September 2014 19:58 (eleven years ago)

i think everything post-ep7 is their "late period"!

to me it makes more sense than thinking of it chronologically because they seem to me infinitely more settled on a sound post-gantz graf than they did in the early days.

imo "early period" is when they sounded like a lot of other early idm (i.e. not terribly distinct from b12, for example), then "mid period" is when they were radically switching up the vibe on every album (tri-repetae through confield) and then "late period" it pretty much all sounds like a blend of lp5 and confield

the late great, Monday, 22 September 2014 20:02 (eleven years ago)

maybe i'm wrong about that though - "l-event" brings tri repetae and anvil vapre to mind, somehow

the late great, Monday, 22 September 2014 20:05 (eleven years ago)

'Fold4,Wrap5' ftw.

Welcome To (Turrican), Monday, 22 September 2014 20:07 (eleven years ago)

Oversteps and later seems like a different period to me, but yeah it's not like the jump from Tri Repetae to Chiastic.

ugh (lukas), Monday, 22 September 2014 20:07 (eleven years ago)

i got into autechre when "garbage" came out and i remember that following autechre releases was like following a comic book with a fast moving plot. every release was something new, sonically and visually. can't say i've felt that way since gantz graf.

the late great, Monday, 22 September 2014 20:11 (eleven years ago)

i keep changing my #1 and #2 around :( they're so incredible but in different ways, also they're on the same album which makes it harder. also considered bumping my #5 to the top spot, and it's on the same fucken album too

93. Oasis - pollrunner needed for this one (imago), Monday, 22 September 2014 20:24 (eleven years ago)

there was a sense that they were revolutionary because of their production / sound design leaps. listening back now though the progression seems less dramatic somehow, i get this sense that the "musical" elements that make them who they are have remained pretty consistent since the mid 90s. xp

mattresslessness, Monday, 22 September 2014 20:33 (eleven years ago)

'Fold4,Wrap5' ftw.

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Monday, 22 September 2014 20:35 (eleven years ago)

imo there's a clear, clear leap from LP5 to Confield - the former just doesn't grab me in remotely the same way, doesn't seem three-dimensional or sublime. but then I probably need to listen to it more, and this poll will probably succeed in making me do this

93. Oasis - pollrunner needed for this one (imago), Monday, 22 September 2014 20:35 (eleven years ago)

lp5 sounds the most 'dated' to me.

mattresslessness, Monday, 22 September 2014 20:36 (eleven years ago)

Mid/peak era: Tri Repetae to EP7

macho nonreal (nakhchivan), Monday, 22 September 2014 20:41 (eleven years ago)

Imago LP5 is my favourite and I always found Confield to be a bumpy ride at best. But I can see if someone were to approach these albums in achronologic order how it could feel the other way round. I love the cleanness of LP5. It's like listening to CAD or something.

zip it shrimpy (dog latin), Monday, 22 September 2014 20:41 (eleven years ago)

exai is a 'melodic' 'engaging' 'return to form', otherwise their work since 2005 is not appreciably less ambitious than before

macho nonreal (nakhchivan), Monday, 22 September 2014 20:43 (eleven years ago)

I've sort of been categorizing them synesthetically lately -- starting with the bright neon of LP1 until they get to the gray-scale LP5, then it turns either putrefying purples/blacks on Confield or blistering metallic (copper?) on Draft.

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Monday, 22 September 2014 20:43 (eleven years ago)

lp5 has certain drum sounds i associate w bad folktronica of the time + 'pretty' autechre is one of my east favorite things they do, cichli aside

mattresslessness, Monday, 22 September 2014 20:44 (eleven years ago)

that is a much better way of categorising them xp

macho nonreal (nakhchivan), Monday, 22 September 2014 20:44 (eleven years ago)

LP5 was my first, and will always be my favourite, but doing my ballot made me realise how much I like Draft 7.30 ... really feel it's the peak of the post EP7 output.

Steve Reich In The Afternoon (Against The 80s), Monday, 22 September 2014 21:08 (eleven years ago)

For me early period = incunabula, mid = amber thru lp5, confield is the game changer's game changer and everything after that is late. And I still struggle with the late period sound. I love confield, will happy to listen to it in one sitting, but though its sound echoes through their later works when I come across a particularly confield-esque later track I feel like I don't have the time for it. But every release has at least something to keep me interested, except for draft and quaristice (main lp, I found some of the side releases a tad more interesting).

UK Sexwolf (imago), Tuesday, 23 September 2014 00:34 (eleven years ago)

Untilted felt like such a letdown after the genius of confield-ganz graf-draft 7.30. I've since come to appreciate it more, but I still can't completely shake that initial disappointment.

Untitled Female Spiderverse (silverfish), Tuesday, 23 September 2014 01:17 (eleven years ago)

nah it's in the same ballpark IMO. sure it doesn't fuck with the beat quite so much but it has other subtleties and its song-structures are extraordinary. it's delicious. i've been listening to it this evening and have some changes to make to the ordering of my ballot as a result ;)

Ѿ (imago), Tuesday, 23 September 2014 01:18 (eleven years ago)

well, just one really

i mean yeah obv it's not as good as the other albums you mention (would have it just ahead of gantz graf purely on amount of content brought) but it's still wonderful and necessary and so forth

dog latin and I are totally on the same page. Though I have come to really enjoy Untilted, especially performed live in recent years. The recording from the board at Glasgow on May 5th, 2005 is simply intensely powerful. I love that b-boy side of Ae in all its glory.

octobeard, Tuesday, 23 September 2014 02:56 (eleven years ago)

I also feel Untilted is one of the more consistent and uncompromising albums, but there's not in the much of what I would consider standout tracks. I'm not sure any song on it will place in my top 20, but it certainly will place in my album poll.

octobeard, Tuesday, 23 September 2014 03:00 (eleven years ago)

Just listening to Quaristice now and realising I could have submitted a completely different top 20. Every period of Ae hits the spot, just depends what mood I'm in.

A solid little house from the p-funk boys (I am using your worlds), Tuesday, 23 September 2014 08:10 (eleven years ago)

Save for maybe a few moments, I found the Confield through Untilted era pretty hard-going and bleak. I'd fallen in love with Ae based on LP5 and EP7 then worked back, really enjoying Amber but stumbling a bit around Tri Repetae (save for Eutow and Leterel) and Chiastic Slide (save for Cichli).
Confield came out and it was just so divisive among Ae fans I knew - quite a lot of people decried it as being total shit. I thought it was especially tough-going but assumed it would one day click. It never really did, but at least I can say each track has its own recognisable 'character'.
Gantz Graf worked better as a piece of audiovisual art than an individual EP/track. Draft 7.30 and Untilted were texturally interesting but lacked a lot of the grace and melody of previous albums - Untilted is almost entirely rhythm and texture in that respect. A few decent tracks though - love the stiff funk of V-Proc from Draft. However it was the beginning of me not really being able to discern which track was which - I can pretty much recall what most pre-Draft tracks by Ae are which just by looking at the track names. Anything after and I'm pretty much fooked, and that's one reason the later stuff is going to miss out in this poll.
By the time Quaristice came out I was nearly set to abandon the Ae cause but I was pleasantly surprised by the shorter tracks and the diversity on offer. Felt they really peaked with Oversteps, which is possibly my favourite album of 2010. Exai was pretty brilliant too. The latest stuff would rival the LP5/EP7 era for me were it not for the sheer volume of music they've released - so many EP-length b-albums and double albums it's dizzying and way too hard for me to digest in the same way as those earlier LPs. SO instead I just find myself putting everything from Quaristice to L-Event into a playlist and putting it on random, which means I don't really think about whether I like this track or that track better. Again, this is going to impact on the poll I think.

zip it shrimpy (dog latin), Tuesday, 23 September 2014 08:52 (eleven years ago)

I think I must be one of those people who likes 'pretty' Autechre. Which reminds me, I should be lobbying for Krib off the Garbage EP. It's kind of their Nannou and unabashedly pretty.

A solid little house from the p-funk boys (I am using your worlds), Tuesday, 23 September 2014 09:24 (eleven years ago)

zip it shrimpy (dog latin), Tuesday, 23 September 2014 09:26 (eleven years ago)

Confield was the first Ae album I heard so in a way it defined what I thought of as the 'Autechre sound' - after exploring the rest of their catalogue it feels more like a transitional record but it does have some great tracks (and dog latin is OTM about the tracks sounding distinctive from each other). Untilted and Draft 7.30 both impressed me on first listen but after a while they started sounding kind of arid to me.

Gavin, Leeds, Tuesday, 23 September 2014 12:27 (eleven years ago)

I only know the albums up to Untilted so I'm not sure if I'm going to vote in this, but I've been going through a lot of Ae lately and man do these guys rule at pretty much every turn. "Calbruc" from Chaistic is the one that's most recently made my jaw drop, it's absolutely stunning (plus the segue in is very good), but I've been listening to Untilted a lot lately and it feels like the sort of album I could listen to every day, so many cool things going on and once you get to know the tracks a little it's a lot of fun. I love how a lot of people point out their favorite bits like "2:25 when the deep bass pings around while the beat crumbles upon itself", which are things that I never hear in realtime, but while listening I come up with a list full of "that was really neat" moments that other people don't notice.

Maggie killed Quagmire (collest baby ever) (frogbs), Tuesday, 23 September 2014 13:23 (eleven years ago)

yeah frogbs, you really don't need to know much past Untilted to vote. The stuff that came after is all great but I've a feeling it won't do too well in the poll.

zip it shrimpy (dog latin), Tuesday, 23 September 2014 13:40 (eleven years ago)

I'll probably do just tracks instead of albums. All their albums are of roughly similar quality to me. IMO the EPs should count as albums proper, I think it would be more interesting that way.

Maggie killed Quagmire (collest baby ever) (frogbs), Tuesday, 23 September 2014 13:48 (eleven years ago)

yeah you can vote for EPs in the albums poll.

zip it shrimpy (dog latin), Tuesday, 23 September 2014 13:48 (eleven years ago)

just realized I meant "Recury" from Chiastic, this is difficult ;)

Maggie killed Quagmire (collest baby ever) (frogbs), Tuesday, 23 September 2014 13:51 (eleven years ago)

The second half of Chiastic Slide is DEEEEP! Must have sounded like nothing else when it came out. I'd even say it's a more difficult and abstruse listen than LP5 or EP7. Shame it feels ever so slightly disjointed as Cichli eclipses everything else on it, but I really like Rettic AC as a preview of Gantz Graf.

zip it shrimpy (dog latin), Tuesday, 23 September 2014 13:54 (eleven years ago)

Yeah especially now Chiastic feels like the key album in their discography. I feel their first four albums and several EPs were about hearing patterns form up out of the rather disparate elements that made up the tracks, stuff that generally made more sense the more attention you gave it. Later work to me feels like it turns all that on its head and toys around with the melodies and rhythms in ways that generally haven't been thought up before, the internal logic of all of it feels very abstract but it's definitely there if you're looking for it.

Maggie killed Quagmire (collest baby ever) (frogbs), Tuesday, 23 September 2014 13:59 (eleven years ago)

'internal logic' - yeah this is what i love about Ae most of all: The feeling that within all the machinery and electronics there's a central organism at work, or an all-encompassing God-like particle dictating the whole thing that's too advanced and mathematical for the human mind to fully comprehend but is nevertheless awesome to behold. I like the idea that the tracks aren't so much 'composed' in the traditional sense, rather grown from just a few ingredients - you add the algorithms, step back and watch what happens. A pleasing organic/inorganic fusion.

zip it shrimpy (dog latin), Tuesday, 23 September 2014 14:16 (eleven years ago)

I wouldn't call Chiastic the 'key' album myself but it's certainly the first one they did that fully crystallised the Autechre sound.

Just realised there's quite a correlation between Tri Repetae and Untilted, thematically, as they both rely heavily on rhythm and texture with a big b-boy/hip hop influence going on throughout. Always had trouble with these but I think I might try em again soon.

zip it shrimpy (dog latin), Tuesday, 23 September 2014 14:20 (eleven years ago)

know what you mean about the 'internal logic' but to me they're, at best, fabulous & instinctive composers with as Leeee says above a synaesthetic grasp of sound-as-construction

Ѿ (imago), Tuesday, 23 September 2014 14:46 (eleven years ago)

yes, and I definitely get that from albums like Exai where a full picture is being built up in my mind from a track like 'Bladelores' or something. If LP5 is Starfox - all vector graphics and polygons and fractal patterns, then Exai is a top-spec PS4 game where the mountains look like real mountains and the programmers have got cinematic lighting specialists in etc...

it's hard to think of another group where how much I like a specific track changes on a monthly basis. it's especially hard to rank albums, I suppose I'd pick LP5, Untilted, and Amber as the 3 best of those I've heard, but I couldn't answer "why not Tri Repeatae? or why not Confield?"

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Wednesday, 24 September 2014 23:47 (ten years ago)

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Thursday, 25 September 2014 16:50 (ten years ago)

When are you planning on rolling out?

If a job's worth doing it's worth doing, Horatio (ledge), Thursday, 25 September 2014 16:57 (ten years ago)

I could dump out the lesser side polls tonight, and do the albums tomorrow. And if people are anxious, I could start the tracks on Saturday.

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Thursday, 25 September 2014 17:09 (ten years ago)

Noooooooooo

If a job's worth doing it's worth doing, Horatio (ledge), Thursday, 25 September 2014 17:19 (ten years ago)

I'm gonna be away from tomorrow till Monday in an area of crappy phone reception. Don't delay the whole thing on my account but would be grand if you could wait till Monday for the tracks.

go with whichever timetable minimizes ledges contriution then

nakhchivan, Thursday, 25 September 2014 17:26 (ten years ago)

Monday sure, I'm going to be out and about as well, come to think of it. Unless there are strenuous objections...

xp lol nakh ledge has been a big help behind the scenes, it's the very least I could do.

Hakeem Olajuwon Howard (Leee), Thursday, 25 September 2014 17:30 (ten years ago)

nakhchivan, Friday, 26 September 2014 02:52 (ten years ago)

why not just roll everything out tonight?

the late great, Friday, 26 September 2014 03:09 (ten years ago)

VOTING CLOSED.

We rallied at the end to make 20, thanks everyone.

Reason we're not rolling things out is because some late drama necessitates last-minute preparations.

pig∞n (Leee), Friday, 26 September 2014 04:29 (ten years ago)

well i'm excited to see the results
