Yeah I thought I had plenty of time initially but now I realize it will be very short to get things done... (especially with the World Cup starting !)

Considering phoning it in ala Aphex Twin remix style

I had some doubts about finishing this on time but I managed to work on it this week-end (between some WC games !) and I should be able to get the whole thing done before the deadline.

I've had this about 95% done since the day we signed up, but still have a few small tweaks and mixdown that I've been dragging my feet on. Will try to get it wrapped up over the next few days.

realized i already have the backing track more or less recorded. i made something years ago that would be perfect for this, a demo from an unreleased song, looped keyboard/drums/samples. i am going to need to listen to a bunch of Grimes to figure out what sounds and lyrics i should try to add on to this. im going to try to finish a first take of this by the end of the week.

yeah pretty much almost done, stoked to play it for y'all, some grimes vocals in there but not musical

Sorry guys. Been away for hols w/ a non working phone for some days. Will not be able to make it either. Dabbled with going the Aphex way and just hand in an old tune but that goes against the spirit of these projects. But I've got nothing, sorry.

just sent mine in. it's.... kind of messy... heh. i could not settle on an approach so it's 3 or 4 different things all running together. it's really kind of noisey in parts but at least it's the last song so if it's too much you can just skip it. i couldn't think of any words so i ended up sampling MGS4 =)
