have at it.

Jordan Sargent, Monday, 30 July 2007 16:53 (eighteen years ago)

Maybe I'm biased because I've never liked The Game, but does anyone really feel like he should be at #3? Even for a list based primarily on sales and mainstream exposure, his last album really didn't do well enough to land him that spot.

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 16:55 (eighteen years ago)

Going strictly on MC'ing

I must not be paying enough attention to Andre 3000???

Tape Store, Monday, 30 July 2007 16:58 (eighteen years ago)

those MTV News dudes are way too much on Andre's jock for just a handful of remix verses, some better than others. a few weeks ago they did a 'report card' for all his recent guest appearances, and the LOWEST GRADE any of them got was A-

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:02 (eighteen years ago)

Worst top 10 ever. Seriously ever.

^
i think that speaks for contemporary rap more than MTV News to be honest.

i would have added bun b, clipse and nas and taken out 50, jones and the game. anyone who's read da drought 3 thread knows what i think about wayne being on the top of this list.

individual list from the mtv news people:http://www.mtv.com/bands/h/hip_hop_week/2007/hottest/index13.jhtml"> http://www.mtv.com/bands/h/hip_hop_week/2007/hottest/index13.jhtml

there are some wild ass placements there (rick ross at #3 really?) but after watching some of the videos, these people have a pretty decent working knowledge of rap.

Jordan Sargent, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:09 (eighteen years ago)

I like the FIXED version!!!

billstevejim, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:11 (eighteen years ago)

gotta remember that the criteria for this list was the last 6-12 months and was based heavily on stuff like guest appearances and collaborations, so it's gonna be weighted towards guys who were on every remix (i.e. the only reason fucking Jim Jones is on the list at all). what has E-40 even been on in the past year besides like that Lil Scrappy single and probably a few hyphy songs that never got heard nationally?

also if you're gonna herb yourself with The Clipse on the list, at least don't give them 2 individual spots.

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:11 (eighteen years ago)

(xpost)

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:11 (eighteen years ago)

LOL at message board person calling me a "herb." For a list I blasted out in two seconds.

Fine

8. Clipse
9. Young Dro
10. I don't know, Fat Joe or Joell Ortiz or something

Whiney G. Weingarten, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:14 (eighteen years ago)

It's not a bad list for what it is. The Game doesn't belong, not does Jim Jones, but otherwise it's pretty okay.

The Brainwasher, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:15 (eighteen years ago)

er "^" to "billstevejim" not whiney.

also, off-topic, but whiney thnx for that silver daggers stream. really awesome

1. Lil Wayne
2. Clipse
3. T.I.
4. Kanye
5. Bun B
6. Ghostface
7. Andre 3000
8. Nas
9. Young Dro
10. Young Jeezy

or something like that... jay misses my list on the virtue of having to hear his wack-ass verse on "umbrella" like 864 times this summer.

also the second link above works (the one after the ">")

Jordan Sargent, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:16 (eighteen years ago)

christ that list is abysmal.

poor hip hop.

titchyschneiderMk2, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:17 (eighteen years ago)

The funny thing about a list like this is that what they're really measuring is who has the most juice in the industry w/r/t radio play and sales, more than who can rhyme competently or made a solid album. But if they didn't limit it to rappers half the list would be singers and guys who are primarily producers (Swizz Beatz, T-Pain, Polow Da Don, R. Kelly, etc.) who have more influence on what's on the radio than almost every rapper out.

(xpost Whiney I'm not hating, Clipse are OK, but giving 2 pretty similiar rappers in the same group 20% of the list borders on Fennessey-level worship)

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:19 (eighteen years ago)

xxpost

Thanks so much for stopping by, JS! Lindstom and Prins Thomas are up to bat this week!

I'm mostly opposed to putting Jeezy on the list because he'd be the first one to tell you he's not an MC!

Whiney G. Weingarten, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:19 (eighteen years ago)

x-AiB, haha, I can see that.

I was just sticking with the "one rapper per spot" trope at the risk of becoming the victim of "YOU THINK PUSHA AND MALICE SOUND THE SAME, OMG!" net-attacks.

I meant to give Pusha T the edge for the "Duncecappin and kazooing" line alone.

Whiney G. Weingarten, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:22 (eighteen years ago)

jay-z??? please

deej, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:23 (eighteen years ago)

good call on Dro though.

deej, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:25 (eighteen years ago)

i agree w/ alex re: the criteria here. one thing i will say from watching the discussions, is that most of the people seemed to confuse "putting out an album" with "putting out a good album." like they all agreed that Hip-Hop is Dead/T.I vs. T.I.P./Doctor's Advocate are great albums, rather than albums that just came out and may be good.

Jordan Sargent, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:26 (eighteen years ago)

Jay-Z doesnt deserve to be on there but he'd have to drop 2 more albums even worse than Kingdom Come for him to lose an instant spot on a list like this. Really, to not have him in the top 5 is a huge indication of how far he's fallen lately.

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:27 (eighteen years ago)

Same w/ 50, his low placement (2 spots above Jones!) is kind of a hilarious slap in the face.

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:28 (eighteen years ago)

as i was watching this on sunday afternoon i found myself marveling, even while drunk, that these guys were actually arguing who should come out ahead when it came to t.i. and the game.

strongohulkington, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:34 (eighteen years ago)

i was kind of half listening and someone was going on about how "he's released blah blah blah mixtapes this year and he's killed them all" and i though "oh, okay, wayne." and then...the game. the game??

strongohulkington, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:36 (eighteen years ago)

The Game does kill it, but just not in any way that's intriguing. As opposed to Kanye who's totally intriguing but rarely kills it.

Whiney G. Weingarten, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:38 (eighteen years ago)

Seriously, Consequence does better Kanye than Kanye these days.

Whiney G. Weingarten, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:38 (eighteen years ago)

I know!! Weirdest part is that it's not like a bunch of the voters are from the west coast or any of them even put him higher than #4 or #5 on their individual lists. It's just like...really?

xpost I might agree, but...Consequence's album :(

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:39 (eighteen years ago)

how is jim jones even on there? mike jones>>>>jim jones.

titchyschneiderMk2, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:42 (eighteen years ago)

Well, Jim Jones was the lucky no-talent of '06, but Mike Jones was the lucky no-talent of '05, so JJ is at least more current.

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:43 (eighteen years ago)

hey, at least mike put out one great album!

titchyschneiderMk2, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:44 (eighteen years ago)

I don't understand how Jim Jones beat out Santana. If they had to go for someone from Dipset Santana is the obvious one... even Cam'Rom would be more believable than Jim Jones (that whole "CURRRTISSSSSSS" thing sort of rose his stock a bit...)

The Brainwasher, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:44 (eighteen years ago)

mike also has one great single right now

deej, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:44 (eighteen years ago)

mr jones? or that 6-4z one?

The Brainwasher, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:46 (eighteen years ago)

Mike Jones is never coming out. He waited too long and his window closed.

Jimmy is really just a beneficiary of a lack of anyone else from Dipset doing anything notable in the past year. Does anyone thing his next album is going to have a single as big as his last one? Even that one didn't sell as much as the ones that had no hits! Juelz has done like 2 guest appearances outside of Diplomats records, but if he dropped again it'd probably be fairly big. Cam has got to be sick or addicted to something and we'll probably find out why he's been so quiet in a year or two when he dies or retires from rap or something.

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:51 (eighteen years ago)

mike jones' current single sucks (if its the same one i saw the video for). paul walls album prob sucks too, if that single is anything to go by. wouldnt be surprised if slim thugs new material is mediocre too.

titchyschneiderMk2, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:53 (eighteen years ago)

Mike has TWO great singles out right now.

Whiney G. Weingarten, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:53 (eighteen years ago)

i was talking about 'my 6-4' which is great

deej, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:58 (eighteen years ago)

wouldnt be surprised if slim thugs new material is mediocre too.

-- titchyschneiderMk2, Monday, July 30, 2007 5:53 PM (5 minutes ago) Bookmark Link

this is also RONG, the boss hogg album is great

deej, Monday, 30 July 2007 17:59 (eighteen years ago)

I personally like "My 6 4" and Paul Wall's single, but whatever cultural capital all those guys had outside Houston circa "Still Tippin'" is completely spent up now, they'll all be lucky if they ever drop major label albums again, which is the kind of shit this list is trying to measure. Only Cham and and maybe Bun B could realistically place on this list.

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 18:03 (eighteen years ago)

Has anyone heard Tum Tum?

Whiney G. Weingarten, Monday, 30 July 2007 18:06 (eighteen years ago)

I like him OK but man that "Caprice Muzik" song is a dud.

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 18:07 (eighteen years ago)

all i know from driving back and forth to jersey twice this weekend is that pop radio has anointed sean kingston the hottest mc in the game. oh and rap stations in delaware must have just gotten "pop lock and drop it"

strongohulkington, Monday, 30 July 2007 18:10 (eighteen years ago)

common andre 3000 and the game make ab no sense. the rest i can kinda understand.

ah the threada you find when ilm script goes to shit

jhøshea, Monday, 30 July 2007 18:13 (eighteen years ago)

hilarious fat kid sean kingston seconded

jhøshea, Monday, 30 July 2007 18:14 (eighteen years ago)

Common's debateable but when you add up token 'conscious' rapper + last album was best-selling of his career + about to drop new one = instant list real estate. Andre's a weird case because Outkast's last album was their first bomb and his latest solo album is a cartoon soundtrack with no rapping, so he's really being judged on like 5 guest verses, but as I said before, the MTV News folks are really stuck on those 5 songs.

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 18:18 (eighteen years ago)

Andre 3000 totally deserves to be on here when he wants to rap, but the last thing I heard him on was on the "Walk It Out" remix and that was almost a year ago, right? (nb: keeping up with remixes and mixtapes is a pain in the ass, so I may well have missed a bunch)

milo z, Monday, 30 July 2007 18:20 (eighteen years ago)

milo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0JOGyFItDE

The Brainwasher, Monday, 30 July 2007 18:22 (eighteen years ago)

He's been on a bunch of stuff since then - Rich Boy remix, Lloyd remix, Devin The Dude album, UGK single. "Walk It Out" was just the first of all those. (xpost)

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 18:24 (eighteen years ago)

he should be punished for leading ugk in to lame-o halfassed weirdness andreland

jhøshea, Monday, 30 July 2007 18:26 (eighteen years ago)

the video's borderline cheesy "Hey Ya!" shit but I think his verse works really well as a prelude to the drums dropping in and Pimp C kicking ass.

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 18:29 (eighteen years ago)

that song does nothing for me

jhøshea, Monday, 30 July 2007 18:31 (eighteen years ago)

I like Kanye but the idea that he's one of the ten best MCs out right now is either patently ridiculous or a searing indictment of the state of hip-hop. Common is boring at times (some would say most times) but good at navigating a rhyme.

T.I. not being at the top of the list (given the time frame) is criminal.

HI DERE, Monday, 30 July 2007 18:32 (eighteen years ago)

I shoulda been number 8.
http://miamihiphop.net/Portals/0/1seank.jpg

mizzell, Monday, 30 July 2007 18:38 (eighteen years ago)

whither Mims?

blueski, Monday, 30 July 2007 18:52 (eighteen years ago)

al i donno, 'my 6-4' is getting radio play/passing car spins around here

deej, Monday, 30 July 2007 18:54 (eighteen years ago)

Yeah I hear it a little, but I think if it was gonna break it would've broke by now, though.

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:19 (eighteen years ago)

the game at number 3 is what would make this list completely null and void.
i like to think that i keep up with current rap at a pretty decent rate, but i don't remember any game "mixtapes" let alone any that he "killed." isn't he on the "throw some d's" remix?

also, if you think consequence is a better rapper than kanye plz ban yourself. and anyone who expects kanye to still be on his college dropout steez is crazy. yeah consequence is better rapping about working at the gap cause he probably still works at the gap. kanye cant pull that shit anymore. he SHOULD be rapping about being rich as fuck. he's still one of the few (relevant) mc's in the game where you don't have to listen to token album cuts to hear about moral/personal confliction within his life.

Jordan Sargent, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:23 (eighteen years ago)

nah kanye's new songs suck

deej, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:24 (eighteen years ago)

I think Game has released mixtapes consistently every couple months ever since the G-Unot shit, but I never checked for those and I think the whole "wow, he's prolific" thing kinda got cancelled out when Wayne became twice as prolific AND actually good.

Kanye's new songs are terrible but I'll reserve judgement for the album and hope he surprises me.

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:27 (eighteen years ago)

If the whole of "Stronger" (or whatever his Daft Punk steeze tune is called) was as good as the last 30 seconds I'd like it a lot more.

BIG HOOS aka the steendriver, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:28 (eighteen years ago)

I dunno, both songs are growers. I hated "Can't Tell me Nothin'" at first but it's one of my fave songs of the year now.

The Brainwasher, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:31 (eighteen years ago)

and the Jeezy remix is great.

The Brainwasher, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:31 (eighteen years ago)

i like "can't tell me nothing" and "stronger" a lot.
one thing that both kanye, wayne and t.i. all have in common is that they might be the only relevant mc's around right now who are actively trying to push the game forward, and i think that means a lot to a possibly dying (at least commercially) genre.

Jordan Sargent, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:34 (eighteen years ago)

I'll give you Kanye and Wayne but I think T.I., for better or worse, isn't really doing anything to push the game forward or whatever, musically or businesswise. He came up with a sound and a business plan like 5 years ago and hasn't diverted from it since, which is admirable in its own way, but not the kind of flailing overachieving that Kanye and lately Wayne have defined themselves with.

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:37 (eighteen years ago)

how is TI trying to push the game forward? or wayne even? i like wayne, as an emcee, but half the stuff he seems to be rapping about seems really boring, and he seems quite terrible at picking beats too (or maybe thats just cos he puts out so much, theres bound to be a heavy proportion of shitty beats in there). i might be in the minority though - i prefer mannie fresh as a rapper.

titchyschneiderMk2, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:38 (eighteen years ago)

AiB I get the sense that you just hate everything these days, iz tru y/n/m

mannie fresh is a great rapper and that means i agree with titchyschneiderMk2 for like the first time ever

Dimension 5ive, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:40 (eighteen years ago)

Well it's hard to make a case for Wayne's subject matter pushing anything forward but he's definitely going off the beaten path with the way in which he's successful, as evidenced by the fact that he can top this list without having released a solo album in nearly 2 years.

Dimension, this is a thread for quibbling about someone else's praise, so while I've said a couple positive things about certain songs/artists here, yeah mostly I'm explaining why certain songs/artists suck or shouldn't be on a list. The things I'm not arguing with I'm mostly silently agreeing with. I like stuff! Lots of it!

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:44 (eighteen years ago)

i mean if you think mannie fresh is a better rapper than wayne i've got nothing for you. the rate and quality of which wayne is dropping verses and tapes and enterprising is pushing the game forward, albeit in a different way than 'ye always reinventing himself.

i included t.i. in there mostly because, for better or worse, he went out on a limb with the concept of t.i. vs. t.i.p., and i think we call agree that rap, at least as a popular music genre, is in about as safe and unadventurous a place it's ever ben.

Jordan Sargent, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:45 (eighteen years ago)

*been.

he can top this list without having released a solo album in nearly 2 years.

and be on the cover of xxl twice in five months and the fader and get an article in GQ, etc. etc.

Jordan Sargent, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:46 (eighteen years ago)

"out on a limb" = using the same shtick he introduced several years ago (I think it's great shtick, but it ain't pushing nothing concept-wise to rip yrself off)

xpost to AiB: I'm not trying to be any more of an ass than usual, just seems like you are a lot more boo than yay these days. If I am wrong then ignore me / tell me to fuck off / send me some money.

Dimension 5ive, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:47 (eighteen years ago)

Titchy totally wrong about Wayne picking bad beats. For the most recent fraction of his career that he hasn't had tons of great Mannie Fresh beats, he's picked plenty of good original beats for Carter II/Like Father and I really like Cash Money's new house producer, T-Mix.

The concept of T.I. Vs. T.I.P. has been done a hundred times before and the way he approached it was creatively bankrupt. The only thing bold about it was the way he risked looking really goofy and Chris Gaines-ish with it, which I assume wasn't intentional.

Nothing wrong with being more boo than yay.

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:49 (eighteen years ago)

Who said there was? DO YA THING PLAYA

Dimension 5ive, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:49 (eighteen years ago)

Dimension 5ive, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:50 (eighteen years ago)

re: t.i. vs. t.i.p. he took it to a new level this year. he hosted 106 and park one day as t.i. and the next day as t.i.p., gave interviews in character, did the same in videos, etc.

i mean it was kind of a train wreck, but at least a breath of fresh air from the hurricane chris' and huey's (though i do love them dearly).

Jordan Sargent, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:51 (eighteen years ago)

waynes flow is too derivative of jayz for me in a lot of songs, plus i hate whispery, muttering rappers and ugh, i just hate his voice in general, although theres songs of his where i can get past that. mannie is better because he doesnt sound like someone in love with jay-z, raps with lots and lots of enthusiasm, sounds like hes having lots of fun, and plus he has better beats. plus, he made real big. which makes him better than perhaps every rapper-producer ever. in fact, mannie>>>(post-1995 or so)dr dre. id also say mike jones has more more better songs than lil wayne, regardless of whether hes as 'lyrical' as wayne (whatever lyrical means in 2007 anyway). i dont know what beats of waynes are good as opposed to the mostly average ones i hear just cos i dont have the time or patience to hear every wayne mixtape that comes out. theres just too many.

titchyschneiderMk2, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:51 (eighteen years ago)

Can you save me the trouble and just start posting this stuff in the RONG thread?

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:53 (eighteen years ago)

Mostly for the Mike Jones > Lil Wayne thing, I'm cool with praising Mannie or not having the time to listen to Weezy box set mixtapes.

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:54 (eighteen years ago)

i basically listen to 0 of these artists at the moment, aside from the 50 cent single that rips 'top billin' and 'i'm a hustla'

i did hear a game verse i liked recently, on someone else's track but i forget what it was

i mean it was kind of a train wreck, but at least a breath of fresh air from the hurricane chris' and huey's (though i do love them dearly).

i hate to sound like xhuxk here but humorless overwrought concept albums hardly count as a 'breath of fresh air'

deej, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:55 (eighteen years ago)

"plus i hate whispery, muttering rappers"

apart from the ying yang twins obv

titchyschneiderMk2, Monday, 30 July 2007 19:59 (eighteen years ago)

most of the beats on tha carter II are awesome. really dark and humid and rooted in new orleans sounds without being obvious. great live bass, real menacing stuff.

re: wayne's mixtapes i think if you're basing your opinion soley on his mixtapes (which because of the amount of press they get i wouldn't blame you) your really selling yourself short. i love the mixtapes because their greatness to me is amplified by how serious and svelte he becomes on record. i hate sports analogies usually, but wayne on a mixtape would be like gilbert arenas fucking around in a pick-up game, he's trying out new shit, not going as hard and serious as he can, but he's still great cause he's gilbert arenas and there are undeniable moments of transcendence etc. whereas when gametime comes around (an album, in this case) he's averaging 30 pts. and liable to drop 50 at any given moment.

hope that wasn't as corny as i think it is.

Jordan Sargent, Monday, 30 July 2007 20:01 (eighteen years ago)

i hate to sound like xhuxk here but humorless overwrought concept albums hardly count as a 'breath of fresh air'

at least change of pace then. all i'm saying is kanye, wayne and t.i. are really the only rappers around right now that are puttin themselves on the line in some way or the other. their willingness to take chances works both positively and negatively, but a. that's important to me as a rap fan and b. commendable as an objective music fan.

Jordan Sargent, Monday, 30 July 2007 20:03 (eighteen years ago)

last thing of his i got was carters vol 1 and 2, but i havent really been interested enough to get the drought 348495 or anything else since then. all the hype kinda puts me off too - i think the lack of much competition has helped him.

titchyschneiderMk2, Monday, 30 July 2007 20:07 (eighteen years ago)

I'm the only one who likes The Game? Seriously, both his albums are v. enjoyable. #3 is probably too much credit, but I wouldn't object to top ten placement.

sup, Dylan!

that's Kanye's list of "hottest in the game" right now, his all-time list that he told Rolling Stone in '04 was:
5. Biggie
4. Nas
3. Jay-Z
2. Eminem
1. Ma$e

seriously!

i <3 the game and wayne both

max, Wednesday, 1 August 2007 15:35 (eighteen years ago)

Worst 'MCs' in the 'game':

1. Busta Rhymes. That's enough already with that shit.
2. Fat Joe. Girls in G-strings cannot rescue you now. Try exercise. Learn to poll dance. I know you like to eat Subway, but your metabolism is probably in the basement.
3. Daddy Yankee. The same song over and over. How enticing. Like the creamed corn of bad rappers.

The top MCs in the game

1. Lil' Mama. Unless you want to ignore women on your list.
2. M.I.A. And Asians.
3. Nas
4. Down AKA Kilo. The Vanilla Ice of our times. Classic.

humansuit, Wednesday, 1 August 2007 15:36 (eighteen years ago)

i'll never not like fat joe.

M@tt He1ges0n, Wednesday, 1 August 2007 15:37 (eighteen years ago)

that diss track where 50 did a hilarious impression of Game's voice ("not rich, still lyin" i think?) >>> all but like 3 actual songs by The Game

But I kept "Compton," "Doctor's Advocate," "One Blood" & "Let's Ride"

BIG HOOS aka the steendriver, Wednesday, 1 August 2007 15:51 (eighteen years ago)

wow, someone liked "Let's Ride"?

I guess the sycophancy is kind of fascinating (who else would ever think to say "if you wanna hug dre, then you gotta fuck me" with pride?). Like some mob goon pathetically yelling for the Don after Sonny tells him he's going for a ride.

xpost SHE'S LIKE THE WIIIIIND

Well the Fat Joe comment was really for 'Make it Rain.' It's one of the worst tracks in the history of hip hop.

the game is just like if a really boring mixtape rapper got a bunch of expensive beats, which im cool with

and what, Wednesday, 1 August 2007 16:13 (eighteen years ago)

I forgot Kanye on my list. He should be there solely because of that Amish / farm music video.

humansuit, Wednesday, 1 August 2007 16:16 (eighteen years ago)

oh come to think of it, i like that one game track with the just blaze beat but mostly for the beat

strongohulkington, Wednesday, 1 August 2007 16:16 (eighteen years ago)

i liked the doctor's advocate because its a dre tribute that sounds like The Chronic 2006. Game even sounds kind of generic as a rapper like Dre. The songs where he starts crying are weak for this reason ... when he gets all explicit about it and it loses the concept

deej, Wednesday, 1 August 2007 16:19 (eighteen years ago)

let's ride = dope bass sounds, dope list of g-funk impala-ridin bottle-poppin cliches, good song
