If anything, I thought Herbie was showing Kanye how its done. Kanye's speech for rap album of the year was a lot more scattershot in its doucheyness.

i thought the beginning of kanye's performance was corny ("IS... THIS... WHAT YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!?!" (producer turns up crowd noise mic) crowd: "YEAAAH!!!!!!!!!!") but live daft punk cutting + hey mama was undeniable

Amber and Alice thought Amy Winehouse's speech was teh hysterical.. They worked up a version of "Camden's Burning, this one's for London, my Blake's in Carcerated, etc..." and were disappointed her speech wasn't repeated on news shows.
