I can name all the members of both!
I'm mostly listing old groups because they have a legendary enough status that people should theoretically know names of the band members even if they don't care about their music. I wouldn't expect the same with new groups, I mean who besides their fans could actually name the members of Linkin' Park or A*Teens?

Chicago had Terry Kath. Awesome dude.
Around 5 p.m., late afternoon of January 23, 1978, after a party at roadie Don Johnson's home in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, Kath — being a gun enthusiast — took a .38 revolver and put it to his head, pulling the trigger several times on the empty chambers. Picking up a semiautomatic 9mm pistol, Kath put the gun to his temple and pulled the trigger, infamously saying, "Don't worry, it's not loaded." (After showing the empty magazine to his friend.) However, one bullet remained in the chamber, killing him instantly — a week shy of his 32nd birthday.

Big & Rich are their real names, near enough.
Chi-Lites and the Four Tops - Levi Stubbs! Avalanches - Darren Seltmann, Robbie Chater, Tony DiBlasio, Gordon McQuilten, Dexter Fabay, James DeLaCruz. First three are still in the band. There was the Japanese MC before they had records out, and the old bloke who played percussion when they toured the album too, Peter "Snakey" something. Stone Roses - Ian Brown, John Squire, Gary "Mani" Mounfield, John? "Reni" Wren? Pet Shop Boys - Chris Lowe not named yet. Sylvia Mason-James probably just about counts as a member for touring purposes. Chemical Brothers - Ed Simon (not Simon something) and Tom Rowlands the roots - Black Thought, Scott Storch, Rahzel and a bunch of dudes who are still in the band. rage against the machine - Tim Commerford, Brad Wilk, the The Nightwatchman bloke. Tom Morello! Village People - the Indian's name was Felipe. Iron Maiden - Bruce Dickinson, Nicko McBrain, and some dudes who haven't written bad Tom Sharpe knockoffs or been hit in the face with a pan. Possibly a Steve Harris? And Eddie.
