TIMBALAND TRACKS POLL (voting deadline Saturday, September 10th at FIFTEEN AFTER THE HOUR midnight EST)

Message Bookmarked

OK, everybody, let's keep this simple. Send in your top 10 favorite tracks from Timbaland's three solo albums, Tim's Bio: Life from da Bassment, Shock Value and Shock Value II. Songs from the 2011 "Timbaland Thursday" series of free online tracks are also eligible. Please do not vote for your favorite Timbaland & Magoo songs, as their discography will be given a separate poll next year.

I really want this poll to celebrate Timbaland's whole catalog, so I am allowing up to 40 tracks on your ballots (50 points for your #1, 11 points for your #40, and so on), any Timbaland production. So if you just want to vote for the big Missy/Jay-Z/Aaliyah/Justin hits and stop at 10 or 20, that's cool, but if you want to dig deep, I would love for this poll to help expose people to some of his brilliant lesser-known productions. There's a pretty complete-looking discography on Wikipedia, but if anyone knows a better resource, feel free to suggest it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timbaland%27s_production_discography

E-mail ballots to shipley.al at gmail dot com by midnight EST on Saturday, September 10th. Vote for as many or as few songs as you like. If you want to be extra helpful, please arrange your list in the following format:

1. Shade Sheist - Money Owners (40)

But if you just throw an unranked list in an e-mail, I will rank them top to bottom from #1 on down, fyi.

A note about remixes: Timbaland-produced songs with remixes featuring essentially the same beat ("Get Ur Freak On" for example) will have votes toward the original and the remix counted together in one entry. Songs for which Timbaland produced different beats for the remix ("Hit Em Wit Da Hee" or "Luv 2 Luv U") will be counted seperately. And songs Timbaland did not originally produce but did remix (Nelly Furtado's "Turn Off The Lights") are eiligible.

Feel free to use this thread for campaigning for or hipping people to lesser known tracks -- I'm assuming we all know the big chart hits and won't need any reminders about those, but it'd be great if people use the next week to dig up awesome deep cuts and share them with each other, so that more people can feel inspired to send in great 40-song ballots. So go to town with YouTubes or Spotify playlists or whatever.

Presentation of the results will probably be pretty straightforward, unless anyone wants to suggest or volunteer some kind of cool method or set of graphics.

i messed up the example ballot btw, the #1 track gets 50 points as previously noted:

1. Jay-Z featuring Drake - Off That (50)

would it be possible to get some kind of list of all he's done...? I know there's no way I'll remember everything.

satisfying punishment for that thing he said about lesbians (Shakey Mo Collier), Tuesday, 30 August 2011 20:00 (fourteen years ago)

i linked a wikipedia discog in the OP -- like i said maybe there's a more complete or more helpfully formatted one elsewhere but that one seems like a good place to start. would it be good to c&p the whole thing itt? i'm afraid of cluttering things up with a giant list right off the bat.

✇ ruehl (some dude), Tuesday, 30 August 2011 20:02 (fourteen years ago)

"Pass At Me (ft. Pitbull & David Guetta)" for the win.

✇ ruehl (some dude), Tuesday, 30 August 2011 20:13 (fourteen years ago)

yes! (to both poll and yr question.)

haha since i missed the prince poll this is the first one of these im really psyched for.

strongo hulkington's ghost dad, Tuesday, 30 August 2011 20:26 (fourteen years ago)

ha ok

ADDENDUM: You may also include a top 3 ballot for the WORST tracks produced by Timbaland poll, the results of which will be presented as a sideshow that will not effect the results of the main poll at all

✇ ruehl (some dude), Tuesday, 30 August 2011 20:28 (fourteen years ago)

i wouldn't be mad at that tbh -- it'll probably do well as the last really undisputed classic, the same way "Beautiful Day" got into the top 10 of a U2 poll that heavily favored early stuff. i know "My Love" will definitely be the highest (and possibly only) Danja-era production on my ballot.

✇ ruehl (some dude), Tuesday, 30 August 2011 21:51 (fourteen years ago)

I could understand not voting if this was a "favorite obscure Timbaland production"

If you really only know 5-6 Timbaland songs, you're gonna find a wealth of things to explore in the countdown up to #10 anyway, and half the top 10 will surprise you, so there's really no reason to abstain

I wanted to draw people's attention to the awesomeness of the beat for Bubba's "Twerk A Little", which I suspect they might overlook otherwise, but the one apparent copy on youtube is barred in Australia.

In the meantime, Timbaland & Magoo's unjustly forgotten and frankly epic "Drop":

you can lol at the Riverdance shit they did in support of it tho

beemer douchebag (DJP), Wednesday, 31 August 2011 19:24 (fourteen years ago)

the only time i've heard that song in the past 5 years is on reruns of an old Alec Baldwin SNL where Missy is just trying so so hard to make the 'dutch' dance into a thing and it's just kind of depressing

lol xpost

pass that dutch is fine but it's like a straight diwali xerox so

yeah as much as i was intrigued by "One In A Million" and other stuff before that, "Beep" was i think the first Timbo beat that really made me go O_O this guy is a genius O_O

lil dawg (some dude), Wednesday, 31 August 2011 19:34 (fourteen years ago)

yeah if i was going strictly by beats "beep" might have been my no. 1.

soooo tempted to throw a vote to 'bring on da funk' both for lol 90s reasons & cuz i think its really p dope

I've tried to love Jodeci.

you shouldn't have to try with at least "Cry For You"

lil dawg (some dude), Wednesday, 31 August 2011 23:07 (fourteen years ago)

jodeci really arent all that good its just 'bring on da funk' opens w/ a hilarious fake news leader a la wu tang

am/sand (Lamp), Wednesday, 31 August 2011 23:08 (fourteen years ago)

im slowly going through my list and just taking stuff out i dont totally love so i think i may send in an abbreviated ballot

but i want to rep again for ms. jade's 'ching ching' which i think is nutso fun

am/sand (Lamp), Wednesday, 31 August 2011 23:10 (fourteen years ago)

imo if you CAN send in a full 40 songs you should, and maybe just keep listening over the next week until you like all your picks. but obviously it's whatever, do what works for you.

lil dawg (some dude), Wednesday, 31 August 2011 23:25 (fourteen years ago)

i think i'm gonna have a relatively ms. jade-heavy ballot

lil dawg (some dude), Wednesday, 31 August 2011 23:26 (fourteen years ago)

well i had the time tonight and my bf is at work so i could spend three hours listening to nothing but timbaland productions and so have sent in my ballot

am/sand (Lamp), Wednesday, 31 August 2011 23:31 (fourteen years ago)

oh yeah, there it is, cool! now i can add it to strongo's and start getting some early totals going!

lil dawg (some dude), Wednesday, 31 August 2011 23:31 (fourteen years ago)

imo if you CAN send in a full 40 songs you should

yah whenever i do these i have hard time filling up like more than 20 spots idk it gets hard to really say 'i like this one better than this' or even 'this is a great song, im glad im voting for it' yknow? anyway looking over it again im p happy w/ my list even the lol contrarian pix

am/sand (Lamp), Wednesday, 31 August 2011 23:46 (fourteen years ago)

those are certainly a couple of the half dozen obvious contenders for #1 (although from the first three ballots something a bit more unexpected has the most points so far)

"what's so different" isn't really one of my absolute favorites off that album

J0rdan S., Thursday, 1 September 2011 19:04 (fourteen years ago)

i really fell in love w/ R&B radio because of the station we kept on at my first summer job in 98/99, so that song always stands out as one of the songs that just murdered me every time i heard it back then.

some dude, Thursday, 1 September 2011 19:07 (fourteen years ago)

i'll prob vote for "none of ur friends business"

J0rdan S., Thursday, 1 September 2011 19:08 (fourteen years ago)

that one's great too. i seriously might vote for all 3 proper singles off that album plus some deep cuts.

some dude, Thursday, 1 September 2011 19:09 (fourteen years ago)

The latter is the best song on FutureSexLoveSounds and hardly receives any credit IMO

billstevejim, Thursday, 1 September 2011 19:59 (fourteen years ago)

"whats your fantasy"sounds way too gutter for tim. His sound was more bourgie r&b ish at the time

D-40, Thursday, 1 September 2011 20:24 (fourteen years ago)

^ya

J0rdan S., Thursday, 1 September 2011 20:29 (fourteen years ago)

'bourgie r&b ish' doesn't seem like the right description of the era of "Hey Papi" and "Get Ur Freak On"

some dude, Thursday, 1 September 2011 20:42 (fourteen years ago)

like that was probably the peak of his club banger period, he was more heavily associated w/ R&B in the '90s, his biggest R&B hit in 2000 was "Try Again," which was not very bourgie. "What's Your Fantasy" isn't exactly a word away from "Phat Rabbit."

some dude, Thursday, 1 September 2011 20:47 (fourteen years ago)

yeah but still glossy & expensive i guess?

D-40, Thursday, 1 September 2011 20:53 (fourteen years ago)

i'm just saying bill's misunderstanding isn't all that bizarre given the context

some dude, Thursday, 1 September 2011 20:55 (fourteen years ago)

yah fair enough im just trying to explain why they seemed like different things to me at the time

D-40, Thursday, 1 September 2011 21:00 (fourteen years ago)

I must have read some erroneous claim that it was his production, and it sounded just similar enough that I didn't question it.

billstevejim, Thursday, 1 September 2011 21:13 (fourteen years ago)

i think the string loop just sounded so immediate & mercenary or something, to me, from that song ... just perfectly sleazy & lowest-common-denominator in the best way

D-40, Thursday, 1 September 2011 21:14 (fourteen years ago)

lol bourgie r&b. what on earth on r&b radio sounded as grimy as some of his drum tracks at that time?

strongo hulkington's ghost dad, Thursday, 1 September 2011 21:16 (fourteen years ago)

Yeah the strings should have been the dead giveaway.. It was mostly the intro that convinced me.

billstevejim, Thursday, 1 September 2011 21:16 (fourteen years ago)

ha well, i guess there's a grace & um for lack of a better word poise to his stuff that something like 'whats your fantasy' doesnt have

D-40, Thursday, 1 September 2011 21:25 (fourteen years ago)

neither of these are criticism of either approach, just differentiating them

In truth I feel uncomfortable voting for it myself - content-wise it's one of the ugliest songs I can think of, or at least the contrast between the awesomeness groove and what they're saying really makes the latter sound worse. Esp. when they get that girl to sing "won't you put it in my mouth".

Tim F, Friday, 2 September 2011 21:59 (fourteen years ago)

have i mentioned lately that my favorite Timbaland video moment of all time is the "Hot Boyz" video when Tim is joyfully dancing and lip syncing "HOT BOYZ, WHAT I WANT" -- i'd really love if someone could make a gif of that and send it to me to put at the top of the poll results thread

First time trying to make animated gifs (or using Photoshop/GIMP tbh), so a bit crude, but ...

J0rdan S., Saturday, 3 September 2011 22:30 (fourteen years ago)

how are people voting in terms of *timb* v. *the artist*?

for example- i <3 the beat for ayo technology but fifty/jt creep me out (the video really didn't help out) as it basically a song about stalking a woman on the assumption that "she wants it, so gotta give it to her".

so is just voting for the beat alone worth it?

otoh there are times when the beat is a bit non descript and the track is still totally killed, so would you be voting for the artist as opposed to timb?

Jay-Z ft. Kanye 'Big Hat Club (Spiritual Big Hat Club Jazz Remix)' (a hoy hoy), Monday, 5 September 2011 08:52 (fourteen years ago)

no new ballots in my inbox all weekend, surely somebody is having a lazy Labor Day and has plenty of time to listen to Timbo tracks and vote. are you that somebody?

Trying to get my ballot up to 40 essentials - if it doesn't light me up I'm not gonna vote for it. Shouldn't be a problem with such a prolifically brilliant beatmaker, but there's a lot of Timbaland over the years that I've missed, so yeah, I'm catching up.

Melle Mel and the Coconuts (thewufs), Monday, 5 September 2011 18:27 (fourteen years ago)

the "Hit Em Wit Da Hee" video remix, which is a totally different beat from the Supa Dupa Fly version, really needs to be in this thread:

so far all the #1s have been (all due respect to the voters) highly conventional so that would be cool

big spiritual hat club (some dude), Monday, 5 September 2011 19:01 (fourteen years ago)

It's not Chris Cornell is it?

Number None, Monday, 5 September 2011 19:01 (fourteen years ago)

okay that took some work
i just listed 40 songs, if i wanted to pick a number one it would be are you that somebody but i'd rather just share out points equal.

this made me relisten to cornell and diamond dogs and a lot of ugly shit.

thank got forks showed up (forksclovetofu), Monday, 5 September 2011 19:03 (fourteen years ago)

man missy's first album is SO FUCKING GOOD though, there's not much that doesn't belong on a timbo top 40 there

thank got forks showed up (forksclovetofu), Monday, 5 September 2011 19:04 (fourteen years ago)

its probably more like mildly unconventional. definitely not in cornell territory

tim was one of the most important artists of my formative years, because he was my first 'in' to appreciating hip-hop as a rock kid - this will be A Meaningful Poll for me

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_i_qxQztHRI (Princess TamTam), Monday, 5 September 2011 19:25 (fourteen years ago)

fyi all ballots are ranked, there's no "everything equally" option, so if you care about what gets how many points send it to me in that order, if not i'm just counting it in whatever order the ballot is sent to me

big spiritual hat club (some dude), Monday, 5 September 2011 19:28 (fourteen years ago)

i'm kinda with tamtam as this being MEANINGFUL; though i had numerous other earlier ins to hip hop, timbo and missy were hella impactful in college.

thank got forks showed up (forksclovetofu), Monday, 5 September 2011 19:37 (fourteen years ago)

mutant slow drum (BradNelson), Monday, 5 September 2011 20:53 (fourteen years ago)

just sent in my ballot. the ordering was mostly arbitrary after the top 5 - its really tough to rank this stuff! going through the disco, re-listening to the 03 stuff again was a huge nostalgia bomb. its funny because i remember the murmurings beginning around that point that he had fallen off, but that was a motherfucker of a year for tim

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_i_qxQztHRI (Princess TamTam), Tuesday, 6 September 2011 02:22 (fourteen years ago)

yeah i'm finding a lot of sympathy for later stuff i want to throw votes toward, past 03 even

with five ballots now there are 102 songs with votes, and amazingly only one song with votes from everybody so far (and not a very obvious song at all)

big spiritual hat club (some dude), Tuesday, 6 September 2011 02:53 (fourteen years ago)

6 Aaliyah

Ravaging Rick Rude (a hoy hoy), Thursday, 8 September 2011 17:02 (fourteen years ago)

Only 1 record solely added because of freestyles i've heard on the beat because timb gave it to the rong person

Ravaging Rick Rude (a hoy hoy), Thursday, 8 September 2011 17:05 (fourteen years ago)

I'm trying to be very methodical about this & working steadily through the playlist. This stuff's nearly all new to me and I don't want to miss anything. It's mostly great. I may not get to the end, but you'll get forty tracks from me idc.

One thing though - is Tim heavily front-loading all these albums? Whenever I start a new one I'm marking a star beside all the first few tracks, then usually withering away to 'meh'. Either that or I've only got a limited tolerance for these dudes'/gals' voices.

Ismael Klata, Thursday, 8 September 2011 17:09 (fourteen years ago)

ok, fine, fine, i'm just going to get this over with and do a totally instinctive ballot. automatic voting.

hardcore oatmeal (Jordan), Thursday, 8 September 2011 17:12 (fourteen years ago)

Where he's been given a whole album to play with, usually I find that it starts with the big dancy singles and then goes into a second half of him playing with r&b genre expectations. when i was 15 and listening to trevor nelson religiously, that stuff seemed so much more interesting to me. (in the same regard, i currently feel totally out of the loop with r&b and if someone like timb came along today, i'd most prob just go for the singles.)

Ravaging Rick Rude (a hoy hoy), Thursday, 8 September 2011 17:13 (fourteen years ago)

Something i recommend is turning off the timb after voting. Shit I missed X-tasy! How was my list not just all Missy????

Unsurprisingly, it's the chemistry between beatmaker and lead artist that makes magic out of the best of these tracks, except for Ms. Jade (where the relative ordinariness of the voice and the rhymes is brilliantly offset by the most dumbfoundingly outre beats Timbaland has ever produced). That's why we'll all stuffing our ballots with Missy tracks. Jay-Z you already know about, but the real surprise has been Petey Pablo. How did I miss this guy? Where is he?

Melle Mel and the Coconuts (thewufs), Saturday, 10 September 2011 02:53 (fourteen years ago)

yeah Petey Pablo was a real talented dude and always sounded more at home on Tim's beats than a lot of other southern rappers. after he did "Goodies" and "Freak-A-Leek" it seemed like he was leaning more toward Lil Jon and crunk than Timbo, then kind of out of nowhere he started hanging out with Suge Knight and talking about signing with Death Row and his career just kind of stopped. no flop singles, no mixtapes afaict, he just kinda disappeared. but supposedly he's working on a new album and last year apparently he put out a Timbaland-produced single and it's not bad!

some dude, Saturday, 10 September 2011 03:24 (fourteen years ago)

I don't think any Petey songs other than "Get On Dis Motorcycle" will make it for me. I love his second album in particular but I don't feel like any of his other Timbaland collab'os are so great that I'd cite them as top 40 worthy. "Raise Up", "I" and "I Told Y'all" are all solid top 60 or top 70 entrants though.

Whereas basically everything Jay-Z and Timbaland did together circa 99/00 could be top 20 for me.

Tim F, Saturday, 10 September 2011 03:54 (fourteen years ago)

Talking about Petey Pablo/Timbaland tunes always makes me think of ethan complaining about mystikal rapping over "petey pablo beats".

Tim F, Saturday, 10 September 2011 03:55 (fourteen years ago)

Also have to decide whether to include "Gun Line" or Tweet's "Sport, Sex & Food". Both have beaten Kiley Dean's "Stay Away From My Boyfriend" in the elimination finals but now I have to decide between them.

Ismael Klata, Saturday, 10 September 2011 14:20 (fourteen years ago)

the race for #1 is getting REALLY close, the top four tracks are all within like 12 points of each other right now. likewise the boundary between what gets into the top 50 and what's outside it is really thin, so anyone who votes now could really shake up the results.

Sigh. Wish I'd known we had 24 + 5 instead of 5 last night. Rushed the final configuration of my ballot.

Not that retinkering would actually make it easier so I think I'll just let it lie, but wish I'd tossed a vote toward Are You Feelin' Me? or Gun Line. This poll might be even harder than Prince was.

my list flags me up as a proper casual timbo fan, no deep cuts whatsoever:
aaliyah 3
nelly f 3
missy 6
jt 2
jay z 3
rihanna 1
bubba 1
tim himself plus keri 1.
really love all the tracks i charted though.

second only to popcorn (or something), Saturday, 10 September 2011 20:20 (fourteen years ago)

one of the missy's might be a bit of a deep cut actually, 'old school joint'? those ecstatic synths still give me shivers.

second only to popcorn (or something), Saturday, 10 September 2011 20:22 (fourteen years ago)

I've been using the phrase 'deep cuts' so much recently. I love it.

ha there's part of 'do u remember' that always sounded like the distortion i'd get when my cell was getting a call & was resting on my discman back when I used to play that cd instead of as mp3s

D-40, Sunday, 11 September 2011 18:13 (fourteen years ago)

xp I always do my ballot first when I'm running a poll, precisely to avoid that temptation. I don't think my conscience could take knowing it's only 'cos of me that J-Lo's #1.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 11 September 2011 18:18 (fourteen years ago)

Three questions:
1. When are you rolling out the results?
2. Top... 100? 50?
3. Hope you glanced over my, uh, haphazard ballot before thanking me for it.

Leee, Lord of Wtfomgham (Leee), Sunday, 11 September 2011 19:10 (fourteen years ago)

yeah i thought about doing my ballot first before any came in, but then i procrastinated and they started rolling in and i was like 'oh well.'

i am definitely doing a top 50, and i am definitely rolling them out between monday and friday this week but i'm not really sure when it'll start (which somewhat depends on how late our last couple stragglers are) or when it'll end, although i'm leaning toward not stretching it over a long 5-day rollout. anyone have any preferences or suggestions in that department?

everyone gets thanked for their ballots, imo the more the better so there is no such thing as bad input to a pollrunner!

some dude, Sunday, 11 September 2011 20:02 (fourteen years ago)

You could 3 days -- 20-20-10. That builds a little drama for the end.

something of an astrological coup (tipsy mothra), Sunday, 11 September 2011 20:09 (fourteen years ago)

yeah i like that idea. hopefully i'll know tonight whether that'll start Mon or Tues or Wed. i'm guessing people would generally prefer results get posted during US daytime hours? if that becomes tricky for me any day(s) i may e-mail that day's results to someone to post while i'm busy, if anyone wants to step up for that (maybe forks?).

some dude, Sunday, 11 September 2011 20:15 (fourteen years ago)

I didn't vote for worst Timbo tracks - what's going to sweep the field there? I haven't, er, kept up with "Ghetto Techno" or his tracks w/D.Guetta or Jet, heh.

etc, Sunday, 11 September 2011 21:46 (fourteen years ago)

i should've noted before, but only sending to the address at the top of thread works, my ilx webmail goes to a defunct address

some dude, Sunday, 11 September 2011 21:47 (fourteen years ago)

only 5 of the 30+ voters sent in worst ballots, so i'm probably going to do away with the 'results' for that altogether, or may just unveil the one or two songs that actually were listed by multiple people.

some dude, Sunday, 11 September 2011 21:49 (fourteen years ago)

ok voting is officially CLOSED. i'm thinking results will start on Tuesday morning or maybe Wednesday (although the results thread might start with some teasers and early info before that). people who volunteered to write blurbs have been given their songs to write about and will hopefully get those back to me before i need 'em.

also as i said up thread i may pass the baton to someone else to post the results for me while i'm out here or there, so if anyone who'll be around and posting during the day this week wants to volunteer, let me know.

i love rap songs with big fat low end horn riffs like that but personally i'll take "Who Run It" or "Shut Up" over either of those

ibiza bloodfarty rock anthem (some dude), Monday, 12 September 2011 21:57 (fourteen years ago)

well they are also awesome songs and if i heard all 4 in one night i think i would just cry tears of joy (while dancing my tits off)

2. Timbaland featuring Katy Perry - "If We Ever Meet Again"

ibiza bloodfarty rock anthem (some dude), Tuesday, 13 September 2011 00:17 (fourteen years ago)

there may be no musician with a greater rift between the quality of their music overall and the quality of the content in their official VEVO than Timbaland

and now The Worst Timbaland Track Of All Time

1. Timbaland featuring OneRepublic - "Apologize"

ibiza bloodfarty rock anthem (some dude), Tuesday, 13 September 2011 00:21 (fourteen years ago)

thats relatively more inoffensive than i was expecting.

not good or anything, just sayin

D-40, Tuesday, 13 September 2011 00:30 (fourteen years ago)

there's worse stuff on both Shock Value albums and the Chris Cornell album for starters but it's pretty understandable if people haven't heard them or don't want to subject themselves to it for the sake of this poll

some dude, Tuesday, 13 September 2011 00:33 (fourteen years ago)

the reason i will never understand peoples' love of "Say It Right" is the horrible idea of backup singing Tim displays on both that and "Apologize"

some dude, Tuesday, 13 September 2011 00:34 (fourteen years ago)

it doesnt sound like tim on say it right, it sounds like one of those barely-there vocal samples

D-40, Tuesday, 13 September 2011 00:45 (fourteen years ago)

it sounds just like him on lots of other songs and he lip syncs to it in the video so there's no way i could think of it as that

some dude, Tuesday, 13 September 2011 00:55 (fourteen years ago)

guys this is worse than both

the dark side of low horn riffs

some dude, Tuesday, 13 September 2011 00:56 (fourteen years ago)

i think 4 minutes has a cool beat

in retrospect i really erred by not making my worst-of list all furtado

i enjoyed your worst ballot referring to her as 'nelly retardo'

some dude, Tuesday, 13 September 2011 01:06 (fourteen years ago)

i tried listening to some of Loose on the Spotify playlist the other day and really i pretty much hate everything about that record

some dude, Tuesday, 13 September 2011 01:07 (fourteen years ago)

man i still like most of that record -- promiscuous got overplayed tho w/ that cell phone commercial

D-40, Tuesday, 13 September 2011 01:09 (fourteen years ago)

tim's idea of singing also present on chris cornell's "ground zero"

I don't count "Apologize" as a Timbo song. He just added "ehs."

I had forgotten that the original Tedder connection was dude contributing actually-decent backing vocals on Deliverance.

Tim F, Tuesday, 13 September 2011 01:27 (fourteen years ago)

In Germany, the song was downloaded 437,000 times, making it the third best-selling download single of all time behind Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" and Lena Meyer-Landrut's "Satellite".

never should have given these people their own country back after the war imo.

strongo hulkington's ghost dad, Tuesday, 13 September 2011 01:29 (fourteen years ago)

I don't understand why "Satellite" is so beloved. Even by Germans.

Tim F, Tuesday, 13 September 2011 02:02 (fourteen years ago)

The more often I heard it on the radio, the more I didn't mind "Apologize." It's a decent Enrique Iglesias ballad.

Anakin Ska Walker (AKA Skarth Vader) (Alfred, Lord Sotosyn), Tuesday, 13 September 2011 02:04 (fourteen years ago)
