You know the drill. And while the precovers of LULU are a high watermark and then some, that just means you all have something to aim at:

01 Moonjock
02 Today's Supernatural
03 Rosie Oh
04 Applesauce
05 Wide Eyed
06 Father Time
07 New Town Burnout
08 Monkey Riches
09 Mercury Man
10 Pulleys
11 Amanita

Stake your claim here. And if there's enough interest I think we could do two volumes as before. Should we have an extra requirement a la the track times for LULU?

Ned Raggett, Monday, 14 May 2012 14:49 (thirteen years ago)

Actual album release date is September 4 so we can set the deadline comfortably in advance here.

Ned Raggett, Monday, 14 May 2012 14:50 (thirteen years ago)

ahah, always good to see these ILX-pre-covers threads pop up !
there are no track times yet, are there ?
and aren't these titles supposed to be not definitive ?

AlXTC from Paris, Monday, 14 May 2012 14:59 (thirteen years ago)

They were announced in a PR mailout this morning, so unless they change their minds...

Ned Raggett, Monday, 14 May 2012 15:00 (thirteen years ago)

i'll do monkey riches

congratulations (n/a), Monday, 14 May 2012 15:00 (thirteen years ago)

Hesitating between Amanita and New Town...

AlXTC from Paris, Monday, 14 May 2012 15:04 (thirteen years ago)

I'd like it more if it was called Monkey Britches xp

btw didn't i braek ur heart (NickB), Monday, 14 May 2012 15:04 (thirteen years ago)

Let's go with Amanita !

AlXTC from Paris, Monday, 14 May 2012 15:05 (thirteen years ago)

AlXTC from Paris, Monday, 14 May 2012 15:06 (thirteen years ago)

They have fangs, They have teeth! (White Chocolate Cheesecake), Monday, 14 May 2012 16:50 (thirteen years ago)

they are both space rocks iirc

Goodbye 20th Centipede (NickB), Monday, 14 May 2012 16:52 (thirteen years ago)

Okay, B-Boy Bualdah called "Wide-Eyed" first but if we do a second one, Adam has it there, unless he wants to claim another track here. So we're at:

01 Moonjock -- White Chocolate Cheesecake
02 Today's Supernatural
03 Rosie Oh -- Stevie D and boyfriend
04 Applesauce -- Gavin, Leeds
05 Wide Eyed -- B-Boy Bualadh Bos

i'd like to do Pulleys

ciderpress, Monday, 14 May 2012 17:04 (thirteen years ago)

Sounds good -- that leaves "Mercury Man," "New Town Burnout" and "Today's Supernatural."

Ned Raggett, Monday, 14 May 2012 17:09 (thirteen years ago)

i have ideas for Today's Supernatural! put me down!

sarahell, Monday, 14 May 2012 18:37 (thirteen years ago)

ned, chris and i will reunite to do "New Town Burnout"

Bandersnatch Cumberbund (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Monday, 14 May 2012 18:44 (thirteen years ago)

"Today's Supernatural" sounds like a great power-pop song title, I actually kinda hear the chorus in my head! Would it violate the rules if I made it more of a GBVy guitar pop tune?

V79, Monday, 14 May 2012 18:45 (thirteen years ago)

xp beaten :/

V79, Monday, 14 May 2012 18:45 (thirteen years ago)

what's left?

get wolves (get bent), Monday, 14 May 2012 18:50 (thirteen years ago)

if "mercury man" is left i'll take that!

get wolves (get bent), Monday, 14 May 2012 18:51 (thirteen years ago)

If it flips over to a two volume version could I bagsy one?

Dick Move's Wardrobe (MaresNest), Monday, 14 May 2012 18:55 (thirteen years ago)

If MaresNest doesn't want 'New Town Burnout' on Vol. 2, can I have it?

banal like anal (snoball), Monday, 14 May 2012 18:58 (thirteen years ago)

Sorry folks, got distracted here! Okay, so Volume 1 is complete:

09 Mercury Man
10 Pulleys
11 Amanita

Ned Raggett, Monday, 14 May 2012 19:09 (thirteen years ago)

I sorta bumped up snoball for "New Town Burnout" there but MaresNest gets whatever song he likes next otherwise.

Ned Raggett, Monday, 14 May 2012 19:10 (thirteen years ago)

Applesauce please!

Scary Move 4 (dog latin), Monday, 14 May 2012 19:11 (thirteen years ago)

Applesauce is the new Pumping Blood.

caro's johnson (Eazy), Monday, 14 May 2012 19:12 (thirteen years ago)

I'll allow temporary claims until MaresNest picks up a song specifically! Then we'll figure it out. MaresNest, say something ASAP here...

Ned Raggett, Monday, 14 May 2012 19:12 (thirteen years ago)

Can I do Father Time on Vol. 2?

Mad God 40/40 (Z S), Monday, 14 May 2012 19:15 (thirteen years ago)

Okay allowing for MaresNest here somewhere:

01 Moonjock
02 Today's Supernatural -- V79
03 Rosie Oh
04 Applesauce -- dog latin (conditional)
05 Wide Eyed -- Adam Bruneau
06 Father Time -- Z/S (conditional)

Dick Move's Wardrobe (MaresNest), Monday, 14 May 2012 19:32 (thirteen years ago)

Ned Raggett, Monday, 14 May 2012 19:34 (thirteen years ago)

actually, i see that white chocolate cheesecake called "mercury man" before i did, so i'll do the one on the second disc.

get wolves (get bent), Monday, 14 May 2012 19:34 (thirteen years ago)

That leaves five songs left to claim for Volume 2.

Get bent -- she changed to "Moonrock!" "Mercury Man" is still yours on 1.

Ned Raggett, Monday, 14 May 2012 19:35 (thirteen years ago)

Moonjock rather. But Moonrock works too.

Ned Raggett, Monday, 14 May 2012 19:35 (thirteen years ago)

w00t!

get wolves (get bent), Monday, 14 May 2012 19:35 (thirteen years ago)

Are there track lengths for this or do we have free reign in that department?

banal like anal (snoball), Monday, 14 May 2012 19:36 (thirteen years ago)

Free reign, but I like the idea of some sort of formal requirement otherwise. Any suggestions?

Ned Raggett, Monday, 14 May 2012 19:37 (thirteen years ago)

all songs have to be wistful psychedelic examinations of childhood

congratulations (n/a), Monday, 14 May 2012 19:38 (thirteen years ago)

i figured the formal requirement was that it bears a vague resemblance to actual AC tracks

ciderpress, Monday, 14 May 2012 19:40 (thirteen years ago)

In that there is music involved? Sure thing!

Ned Raggett, Monday, 14 May 2012 19:40 (thirteen years ago)

Wait, really? Because, um, just... no.

x-post

They have fangs, They have teeth! (White Chocolate Cheesecake), Monday, 14 May 2012 19:41 (thirteen years ago)

i was joking, i hate wistful examinations of childhood

congratulations (n/a), Monday, 14 May 2012 19:41 (thirteen years ago)

non-wistful examinations of childhood, filled with spite

get wolves (get bent), Monday, 14 May 2012 19:42 (thirteen years ago)

well when i say vague i mean very vague

but my track's probably going to end up being IDM of some sort so whatever

ciderpress, Monday, 14 May 2012 19:42 (thirteen years ago)

animal sounds

sarahell, Monday, 14 May 2012 19:43 (thirteen years ago)

banal like anal (snoball), Monday, 14 May 2012 19:43 (thirteen years ago)

btw i hope we will be releasing this as Animal Collection

ciderpress, Monday, 14 May 2012 19:43 (thirteen years ago)

So when we're done, do we just post a link here? Or is there a dropbox or ftp thing?

Emperor Cos Dashit (Adam Bruneau), Monday, 14 May 2012 19:44 (thirteen years ago)

We'll do this like LULU -- send me the tracks and I'll put 'em all together. E-mail or fileshare link to:

Ned Raggett, Monday, 14 May 2012 19:46 (thirteen years ago)

Ned Raggett, Monday, 14 May 2012 19:55 (thirteen years ago)

I will happily contribute in a vocal capacity, but I have no instrumental ability.

Hellhamster 2: Hamster Smashed Face (J3ff T.), Monday, 14 May 2012 22:35 (thirteen years ago)

I mean, I don't really have vocal ability either, but

Hellhamster 2: Hamster Smashed Face (J3ff T.), Monday, 14 May 2012 22:35 (thirteen years ago)

Any title of the remaining three grab you?

Ned Raggett, Monday, 14 May 2012 22:38 (thirteen years ago)

They are all so good I can't decide. "Mercury Man" has the potential to be a really bizarre sci-fi story, though.

Hellhamster 2: Hamster Smashed Face (J3ff T.), Monday, 14 May 2012 22:43 (thirteen years ago)

dibs on Monkey Riches

CHAMP1-6NS (a hoy hoy), Monday, 14 May 2012 22:45 (thirteen years ago)

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 15 May 2012 05:27 (thirteen years ago)

Animal Collective's Brian Weitz (aka Geologist) spoke with Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1 last night to discuss the band's newly announced album Centipede Hz. Lovers of early Animal Collective, rejoice: Weitz said the band has moved away from Merriweather Post Pavilion's sound and "back to our roots."
The band members all moved back to the Baltimore area to record together. Weitz said, "We got a little practice space in this barn on Josh [Dibb, aka Deakin]'s mom's property and it was basically like being a garage band again."
That means you'll find less sampling on Centipede Hz than on Merriweather, and more organic instrumentation. "This one we wrote more as a rock band in a room and we wanted to record it that way as well." Weitz also mentioned that they've played most of the music on the record live on tour over the past year.

Is it a rule that you can't have heard the live versions before doing this? Cos I haven't and now that I think about it yeah maybe some people have.

Emperor Cos Dashit (Adam Bruneau), Tuesday, 15 May 2012 17:02 (thirteen years ago)

Perhaps so! Doesn't matter, live versions don't always sound like the studio ones anyway.

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 15 May 2012 17:03 (thirteen years ago)

It's a shame if AC have taken a step backwards for this record, hoping that ILX are going to take up the slack a bit.

Goodbye 20th Centipede (NickB), Tuesday, 15 May 2012 17:06 (thirteen years ago)

in the interest of trolling youtubers, i fully endorse ppl hearing the live versions first and then attempting the most ~creative~ interpretation of them, though i realize that may go against the ILX Pre-Cover philosophy

At least an initial youtube search indicates as such.

Emperor Cos Dashit (Adam Bruneau), Tuesday, 15 May 2012 18:34 (thirteen years ago)

I was thinking "ha ha, we should totally pre-cover the next Radiohead album" but then I remembered that 1) they drop their albums so quickly there's not time to and 2) fans are so obsessive that they already pre-cover the songs the minute that they're played live.

I dunno, what's fun about these comps is covering a song with ~absolutely no idea~ what the original should sound like.

ciderpress, Wednesday, 16 May 2012 13:09 (thirteen years ago)

I can work without samples, synths, guitars, and acoustic instruments, but then you will more or less be getting electronic noise with someone shouting over the top.

What I have in mind will be made up of samples, acoustic guitar and percussion - purely because that's what I have at hand but it does seem fitting for AC.

Yeah, pretty much thinking that after the time limit for the last one that's about as far as we can/should go.

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 16 May 2012 15:13 (thirteen years ago)

the only rule for this i could possibly get behind is requiring everyone to say "C'MON JAMES!" at least once per song

AlXTC from Paris, Wednesday, 16 May 2012 16:09 (thirteen years ago)

So in a colossal bout of annoying my upstairs neighbours, I've finished recording this. It's going to be a pain in the arse to mix it, though. Maybe the twist can be that everybody sends their track off to someone else to mix it? And the person who mixes it (or remixes it) submits the finished track without playing it for the original artist first? That would be v v funny.

I have actually finished mine!

But then I decided to rip out the boring bass and replace it, and that was even worse, so I'm trying to get the original bass sound back.

v v tempted to just send it to Crut but I'm scared he'd muck about with the timbre too much ;-)

I feel awful, but I might need to back out of doing "Father Time" on the second volume. I've felt really terrible about everything I've made recently (visually, musically, work-wise, everything - it's a phase I go through every few years) and I've been unable to complete anything, or even really to get far at all. I can submit something if needed, but if someone is itching to get in they should definitely have the spot.

n.b. it will have Doctor Who samples no matter what

sarahell, Monday, 9 July 2012 22:08 (thirteen years ago)

I only started two days ago, as I was up to my eyeballs in work, and I got a new laptop (reinstalling audio software/transferring licenses is a nightmare), but I'm free all week, so I should be fine for time. I'm learning a few things too - I've recorded a few things before, but they were lolindie guitar/bass/drum stuff.

I'm actually using Animoog on my phone (which I got when it was still €0.79) for most of the synth sounds - it's a great little program. The main framework of the tune is based around one super-obvious sample - I didn't think subtlety was the way to go.

mine is very rushed and raw. i'm not 100 percent happy with it but i'm at pitchfork fest all weekend so i knew i was going to have to submit it now or never.

congratulations (n/a), Friday, 13 July 2012 16:26 (thirteen years ago)

Just sent mine - sound quality could be better but I have limited resources! Otherwise quite happy with how it turned out.

Gavin, Leeds, Friday, 13 July 2012 18:37 (thirteen years ago)

Got it, thanks!

We still need cover art, folks.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 13 July 2012 18:48 (thirteen years ago)

Ned, just a quick check - I sent you my track on the 26th, did you receive it?

second dullest ILXor since 1929 (snoball), Friday, 13 July 2012 19:40 (thirteen years ago)

Yes! Sorry if I didn't reconfirm.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 13 July 2012 19:47 (thirteen years ago)

did you get mine? because I haven't sent it yet and if you've already got it, I won't kill myself this weekend working on it

I see you, Pineapple Teef (DJP), Friday, 13 July 2012 19:49 (thirteen years ago)

Hahah I have not gotten yours, no. Therefore, kill yourself. (Uh wait.)

Ned Raggett, Friday, 13 July 2012 19:50 (thirteen years ago)

Thanks Ned.

second dullest ILXor since 1929 (snoball), Friday, 13 July 2012 20:10 (thirteen years ago)

Based on a couple of suggestions above I messed around with a couple of cover options. Forgive me:

I prefer the first one.

Hahah I must agree.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 13 July 2012 22:18 (thirteen years ago)

Front and back, dudes!

add a track list to the 2nd...

sarahell, Friday, 13 July 2012 23:26 (thirteen years ago)

my track is... coming.

ostrich tuning (get bent), Saturday, 14 July 2012 00:39 (thirteen years ago)

should i do vocals death metal style or "pretty"?

sarahell, Saturday, 14 July 2012 06:55 (thirteen years ago)

METAL

second dullest ILXor since 1929 (snoball), Saturday, 14 July 2012 07:53 (thirteen years ago)

Gonna pull out all the stops today and tomorrow to get this finished. I will not rest til this tune is done. Only break I take will be for the Munster final.

B-Boy Bualadh Bos (ecuador_with_a_c), Saturday, 14 July 2012 13:33 (thirteen years ago)

ugh

of course I have a work crisis happening this weekend

I see you, Pineapple Teef (DJP), Saturday, 14 July 2012 13:49 (thirteen years ago)

do i have until the end of the day tomorrow?

i have a track ready but it needs a bunch more mixing/post-production type stuff and i'm kinda busy today

ciderpress, Saturday, 14 July 2012 17:16 (thirteen years ago)

same here : can I send it tomorrow evening ?since I'm in France, it will be the afternoon for Ned anyway !
I had doubts I could make it on time but I have most of the recording/mixing done today so only some mixing left.
yay !

AlXTC from Paris, Saturday, 14 July 2012 17:24 (thirteen years ago)

End of the day is fine, so is Monday.

Ned Raggett, Saturday, 14 July 2012 17:24 (thirteen years ago)

sent!

da croupier, Saturday, 14 July 2012 17:43 (thirteen years ago)

Got it!

Ned Raggett, Saturday, 14 July 2012 18:03 (thirteen years ago)

sending it through later this evening (Sydney time).

charlie h, Sunday, 15 July 2012 04:42 (thirteen years ago)

sent !
love the cover art with the dogs by the way (especially the first one) !

AlXTC from Paris, Sunday, 15 July 2012 12:05 (thirteen years ago)

Received and thanks.

I'll be busy elsewhere for a good chunk of today so just send things along as you do. Probably won't have a chance to work with all the files until tomorrow evening sometime.

Ned Raggett, Sunday, 15 July 2012 14:08 (thirteen years ago)

Not going well here - not only have Waterford lost the Munster final, but I have a throat infection and my vocals aren't done yet. Gonna numb the hell out of my throat and give it a go later. Otherwise I'm gonna have to get creative.

B-Boy Bualadh Bos (ecuador_with_a_c), Sunday, 15 July 2012 17:15 (thirteen years ago)

are people doing limiter/compressor type mastering jobs on their tracks? i don't want to be the guy whose track is 10x as loud as all the others, but i also don't want to be the guy whose track is 10x quieter.

ciderpress, Sunday, 15 July 2012 20:10 (thirteen years ago)

zomg

I'm going to finish this by the deadline

amazing

(it helps that it's only 3 minutes long, also I apologize in advance for apparently being heavily influenced in a surprisingly serious way by the 50 Shades of Grey conversation)

I see you, Pineapple Teef (DJP), Sunday, 15 July 2012 22:31 (thirteen years ago)

okay, I might need more time.

sarahell, Sunday, 15 July 2012 23:17 (thirteen years ago)

sent! TWICE!

I see you, Pineapple Teef (DJP), Sunday, 15 July 2012 23:53 (thirteen years ago)

sent through ilxmail.

ostrich tuning (get bent), Monday, 16 July 2012 01:17 (thirteen years ago)

Received the last two.

Ned Raggett, Monday, 16 July 2012 01:26 (thirteen years ago)

could i conceivably have until Tuesday?

sarahell, Monday, 16 July 2012 01:26 (thirteen years ago)

Hmm. Monday night would be better.

Ned Raggett, Monday, 16 July 2012 01:35 (thirteen years ago)

Ok

sarahell, Monday, 16 July 2012 02:06 (thirteen years ago)

just sent it over

ciderpress, Monday, 16 July 2012 03:20 (thirteen years ago)

About to send mine over too.

Emperor Cos Dashit (Adam Bruneau), Monday, 16 July 2012 04:07 (thirteen years ago)

Ned me & chris got ours done tonight

Gonna give it a quick listen tomorrow morning & send it your way

wack nerd zinging in the dead of night (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Monday, 16 July 2012 04:10 (thirteen years ago)

I really tried to make a track that sounded how I imagine AC's new record to sound, but I just couldn't get it sounding quite icky enough, and it all went a bit Stars Of The Lid in the middle instead, sending over in a little while Ned.

MaresNest, Monday, 16 July 2012 09:20 (thirteen years ago)

ned i sent the MP3 your way -- i think i forgot some of the info tag on itunes though but i guess you will probably do them all the same?

wack nerd zinging in the dead of night (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Monday, 16 July 2012 17:32 (thirteen years ago)

All good. Again, I'll start sorting through everything properly tonight after work!

Ned Raggett, Monday, 16 July 2012 17:33 (thirteen years ago)

new youtube account has been created.

♆ (gr8080), Monday, 16 July 2012 22:00 (thirteen years ago)

so glad you are unbanned in time for this gr80!

sarahell, Monday, 16 July 2012 22:15 (thirteen years ago)

its a pretty busy week for me so i'm not making any promises, but i just wanted to be prepared should i have the opportunity to offer my services

♆ (gr8080), Monday, 16 July 2012 22:19 (thirteen years ago)

looking forward to this, you guys

Mark G, Monday, 16 July 2012 23:35 (thirteen years ago)

Just sent my one there. Animal Collective sampled the Grateful Dead on their last EP, so clearly the next step for Fake Animal Collective was to sample noted Dead influence and jam band faves Herman's Hermits. Twas nearly an instrumental - voice is shot with a throat infection, but had enough lemon, honey, and Merocaine to squawk something out. The cover above looks amazing. Looking forward to this.

B-Boy Bualadh Bos (ecuador_with_a_c), Tuesday, 17 July 2012 01:17 (thirteen years ago)

Okay, am doing some sorting out now. To tide everyone over, Dan provided the lyrics for his "Pulleys" so a gift for you, the expectant listeners:

Take a break from being wiser

Don’t be in control tonight

When I’m here, you’ll find your eyes are

Seeing suffering with delight

I have all the things you need

To make you happy, satisfied

Just sit back and let me lead

Lose yourself to the ride

Magnify the force exerted

Let me take control

Follow me as I play with

The pulleys of your soul

Happiness is not an option

If I say it isn’t one

Every thought is by adoption

Something that I’ve already done

Taken to a lower level

Trusting me to see you through

People say I’m like the devil

But you know that is not true

(Don’t you?)

Magnify the force exerted

Let me take control

Follow me as I play with

The pulleys of your soul

Come to me, my little pet

Dance for me, my marionette

Tell me all your hopes and fears

Feed my lust with your sweet tears

You should know that I’ve decided

Things should get a little rough

When you bleed, I get excited

I know you can’t get enough

Questioning is not an option

If I say it isn’t one

Every thought is by adoption

Time for me to have some fun

Magnify the force exerted

Let me take control

Follow me as I play with

The pulleys of your soul

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 03:38 (thirteen years ago)

Also please reconfirm your nom de plumes of choice, otherwise I'll go with your ILX handles; I have a few of yours already, I realize.

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 03:41 (thirteen years ago)

Crap, life got away from me here. Sorry man, I didn't mean to be a flake.

Hamster of Legend (J3ff T.), Tuesday, 17 July 2012 03:44 (thirteen years ago)

OUT or something.

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 03:47 (thirteen years ago)

I am done, and sending this gesamtkunstwerk your way

sarahell, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 09:29 (thirteen years ago)

so what are we gonna do with the missing tracks ?
do we all agree on the dogs cover (which is so great I want a t-shirt of it) ?

AlXTC from Paris, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 09:42 (thirteen years ago)

I could retrieve a couple of my instrumentals..

Mark G, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 09:47 (thirteen years ago)

Feel free to send them along!

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 12:41 (thirteen years ago)

i'll take a look through my scrapheap this evening and see if there's anything polished enough to fill in for a missing track

ciderpress, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 13:03 (thirteen years ago)

does this need a track list / back cover? I can toss one together once there's a final list, assuming people actually are into the one I made or at least don't totally hate it or something

joygoat, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 13:27 (thirteen years ago)

are we sure those missing will not show up ?
regarding the back cover I don't think there was one for the previous ILX volumes but why not improve the product !

AlXTC from Paris, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 13:43 (thirteen years ago)

ILX/Bucket had one, although you'd only know if you had a hard copy

Mark G, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 13:59 (thirteen years ago)

I think it doesn't hurt to have backups that can plug holes; obv I think any claimed submissions that come in should have first dibs

PITILESS LIVE SHOW (DJP), Tuesday, 17 July 2012 14:03 (thirteen years ago)

Of course.

Mark G, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 14:10 (thirteen years ago)

yes of course, but I meant, do we have news from those missing ? Ned said some had officially dropped out but the others ?
we want the truth about our MIAs !

AlXTC from Paris, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 14:12 (thirteen years ago)

Sarahel's is in and I think that was the last 'for sure' one at this stage.

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 14:25 (thirteen years ago)

I can't remember now, on LULU did I go by HI DERE or DJP

whichever one I used, please use it again

PITILESS LIVE SHOW (DJP), Tuesday, 17 July 2012 14:27 (thirteen years ago)

Will double check tonight.

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 14:36 (thirteen years ago)

Oh and just AlXTC for me, you can drop the "from Paris" !

AlXTC from Paris, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 14:52 (thirteen years ago)

sorry to ask this again but when is our release date ?

AlXTC from Paris, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 14:53 (thirteen years ago)

Kinda hoping for Wednesday at this point -- honestly if we don't get 'complete' tracklistings I'm not too bothered.

Having heard everything so far it's good fun!

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 14:56 (thirteen years ago)

Can't wait !

AlXTC from Paris, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 14:58 (thirteen years ago)

Ned, I could maybe cobble together something a la my sound effects track for 'Today's Supernatural' by the end of tomorrow - that seems to be the only track that doesn't have a version down. But if nobody else cares, then... uh, I guess I won't.

emil.y, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 15:52 (thirteen years ago)

Sarahel has her version in so please contribute yours too if you'd like!

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 15:54 (thirteen years ago)

Aha, I didn't realise that one was hers - I'll see if I come up with anything, but I was more concerned about us having a version for each track, and if that's done then it's less urgent.

emil.y, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 15:55 (thirteen years ago)

Hey Ned, instead of ZS please use vveinventvou for mine. thanks!

your friend, (Z S), Tuesday, 17 July 2012 17:01 (thirteen years ago)

(those are double v's for the w, and v instead of y, as i plan on chiseling this name onto courthouses across the country in the near future)

your friend, (Z S), Tuesday, 17 July 2012 17:03 (thirteen years ago)

I don't remember what I tagged mine but I would like it to be credited to KDT.

Queue de Cheval (White Chocolate Cheesecake), Tuesday, 17 July 2012 18:56 (thirteen years ago)

Thanks, will do!

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 19:44 (thirteen years ago)

(the full name obv not the initials. p sure I did tag it like that)

Queue de Cheval (White Chocolate Cheesecake), Tuesday, 17 July 2012 19:46 (thirteen years ago)

ned you can credit our to me & chris's full government names

wack nerd zinging in the dead of night (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Tuesday, 17 July 2012 19:47 (thirteen years ago)

"Joe and Joseph Josephfreson. Got it."

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 17 July 2012 19:56 (thirteen years ago)

Okay, I'm going to call time on submissions as such, just so we can get this out the door. We have a 'complete' version for the first volume thanks to a ringer from DJP, plus most of the second volume, so we can call that the fake remix disc or something. Anyway! Final tracklisting:

--

MoonJock (Croydon Bass Mix) -- Karen D. Tregaskin
Today's Supernatural -- sarahell
Rosie Oh -- Mystery Meat
Applesauce -- Gavin, Leeds
Wide Eyed -- B-Boy Bualadh Bos (ecuador_with_a_c)
Father Time -- Charlie H
New Town Burnout -- (Matt and Chris's full government names)
Monkey Riches -- Scare Quotes
Mercury Man -- Grannykart
Pulleys -- ciderpress
Amanita -- AlXTC
Moonjock -- MaresNest
Rosie Oh -- Da Croupier
Wide Eyed -- Adam Bruneau
Father Time -- vveinventvou
New Town Burnout -- snoball
Pulleys -- DJP
Amanita -- Confounded

DJP's ringer track is credited to Mystery Meat, in that I assumed he would be pleased to have such a pseudonym.

Will post this here early tomorrow morning my time as a mediafire download.

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 18 July 2012 02:39 (thirteen years ago)

hahaha perfecto

PITILESS LIVE SHOW (DJP), Wednesday, 18 July 2012 03:57 (thirteen years ago)

Anyway just completed my final proper listen on this thing -- very amusing/listenable. I think our LULU effort was one in a million but this is another fine contribution to the canon.
