The nominations have been compiled, now it's time to vote for the best electronic tracks and albums of the 1990s! Here are the nomination lists:
Tracks
Albums
And here's the voting rules:
1) You can vote for 75 tracks and 25 albums. You can vote for less than that, if you want to.
2) When you vote, number the ballot so that the highest voted track/album is number 1, the second highest is number 2, and so on.
3) The points for the tracks in the ballot will be counted like this:
1) ARTIST A - TRACK B 90 points2) ARTIST C - TRACK D 89 points3) ARTIST E - TRACK F 88 points...74) ARTIST W - TRACK X 17 points75) ARTIST Y - TRACK Z 16 points
So the highest voted track gets 90 points and the lowest 16 points (if you vote for full 75 tracks).
4) The points for the albums in the ballot will be counted like this:
1) ARTIST A - ALBUM B 30 points2) ARTIST C - ALBUM D 29 points3) ARTIST E - ALBUM F 28 points...24) ARTIST W - ALBUM X 7 points25) ARTIST Y - ALBUM Z 6 points
So the highest voted album gets 30 points and the lowest 6 points (if you vote for full 25 albums).
5) If there's a draw, the one with most votes wins. If it's still draw, the one with most number one votes wins.
6) Send you ballots to tuomast {dot} alho {at} gmail {dot} com. (Yes, it's "tuomast", not "tuomas".) Please include your ILX username in your mail, so I know it's not a fake ballot.
7) Voting ends on Monday, October 8th, at 12PM (GMT).
So, start writing your ballots! You have the power!

Cool. Looking forward to this.

Tuomas - I nominated Moby - Move (from the Trance Europe Express compilation circa 1993) but that's not on your track listing

hehe I honestly can't imagine anyone doing that. No one is sad enough. You gotta trust people.

this ballot is going to be super hard
― blank, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 06:18 (twelve years ago)
Sorry about that, I added "Move" to the tracks list.
Apparently the version on that Trance Europe Express comp is a remix of the original single. I added that specific remix to the list, but if you meant to nominate the original version, let me know.
― Tuomas, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 06:48 (twelve years ago)
Cool!
― MikoMcha, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 07:05 (twelve years ago)
I anyone else notes anything missing from the lists, let me know.
― Tuomas, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 07:23 (twelve years ago)
I would really kinda like to vote in this, but I just find putting things into some kind of ~order~ so completely off-putting. :-(
― The Kelvin Helmholtz Instability (White Chocolate Cheesecake), Wednesday, 19 September 2012 08:47 (twelve years ago)
I can do it with a single artist but genre lists make my brain melt.
― Get wolves (DL), Wednesday, 19 September 2012 09:05 (twelve years ago)
If people want to do that, I'm perfectly fine with unordered ballots too. In that case each track in your ballot gets 53 points, and each album gets 18 points.
― Tuomas, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 09:48 (twelve years ago)
But be sure to explicitly mention that it's an unordered ballot.
― Tuomas, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 09:49 (twelve years ago)
well, not really missing but I'd love to see prodigy - charley (alley car remix) there.
― dan138zig (Durrr Durrr Durrrrrr), Wednesday, 19 September 2012 10:53 (twelve years ago)

bollocks, i was sure i'd nominated Those Guys - Tonite but it appears i didn't. is it too late as i'd say it's legit top 2 or 3 for me?
― second only to popcorn (or something), Wednesday, 19 September 2012 12:18 (twelve years ago)
Well, you didn't use your full 40 noms in the nomination thread, so sure, I can add it to the list.
― Tuomas, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 13:28 (twelve years ago)
I didn't use all of my noms too, so can charley go in?
― dan138zig (Durrr Durrr Durrrrrr), Wednesday, 19 September 2012 13:30 (twelve years ago)
Sure.
― Tuomas, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 13:34 (twelve years ago)
thanks man.
― second only to popcorn (or something), Wednesday, 19 September 2012 13:45 (twelve years ago)
thanks! I was kinda surprised to see no one nom'd it. I thought it was one of the major tracks from the rave era.
― dan138zig (Durrr Durrr Durrrrrr), Wednesday, 19 September 2012 14:28 (twelve years ago)
I think it was kinda overshadowed by "Out of Space" when that one came out? Or, I'm not sure how that was in the UK, but at least in Finland "Out of Space" was clearly The Prodigy's biggest tune until "No Good" came out.
― Tuomas, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 14:35 (twelve years ago)
Are you kidding? It was huge. It led to a bunch of shitty 70s kid tv show theme tunes being raved up. Completely missing the brilliance of charly
― last few days to vote in the 80s rock poll by.. (Algerian Goalkeeper), Wednesday, 19 September 2012 14:37 (twelve years ago)
Though it looks like no one nominated "No Good" or "Voodoo People" either... Maybe The Prodigy's later exploits have made people forget their glory days, or maybe these tunes were considered to populist to nom?
(x-post)
― Tuomas, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 14:38 (twelve years ago)
Yeah, I remember reading about that stuff, but it was never that big in Finland. "Out of Space" was basically The Prodigy's breakout tune in here.
― Tuomas, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 14:40 (twelve years ago)
I thought I nommed them. Can you please add them as I didn't use up all mine?
― last few days to vote in the 80s rock poll by.. (Algerian Goalkeeper), Wednesday, 19 September 2012 14:41 (twelve years ago)
The Prodigy were actually the second-wave of Kids TV sampling:

― Chewshabadoo, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 14:52 (twelve years ago)
I know jack shit about this genre but that tracks list seems to miss a bunch of essentials. is this deliberate?
I mean like major singles by the Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, DJ Shadow, Bjork, KLF, Tehnotronick, Moby...
― gospodin simmel, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 14:56 (twelve years ago)
I think they're dismissed as too rock/indie/corny friendly to some
― last few days to vote in the 80s rock poll by.. (Algerian Goalkeeper), Wednesday, 19 September 2012 14:59 (twelve years ago)
people nommed their faves - its the same in all genres
― suare, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 15:00 (twelve years ago)
They all seem to be more than adequately represented in the track list.
I can't say there will be much out of the acts you've listed getting my vote, my love for most of those burnt out a long time ago.
― Chewshabadoo, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 15:01 (twelve years ago)
I dismissed them because i don't like them
― suare, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 15:10 (twelve years ago)
"more than adequately represented"
without Block Rockin Beats, No Good, Firestarter, Midnight in a Perfect World, Justified and Ancient?
but yeah, my knowledge of this thing is very rock/indie/corny crossover. would a 20-track ballot of Eurodance favorites be acceptable?
― gospodin simmel, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 15:24 (twelve years ago)
nominate whatever you like
― suare, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 15:42 (twelve years ago)
here you go
nominations:Block Rockin Beats, No Good, Firestarter, Midnight in a Perfect World, Justified and Ancient
― suare, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 15:43 (twelve years ago)
I'd rather be dancing to a mix of Culture Beat, Corona and Capella than a set of Prodigy, Shadow and Chemical Brothers that's for sure.
― Chewshabadoo, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 16:49 (twelve years ago)
prodigy, shadow and chems was dance music for people who didn't like dance music. not that they didn't all have a few gems each.
― second only to popcorn (or something), Wednesday, 19 September 2012 17:41 (twelve years ago)
I don't really agree with that, at least not with The Prodigy... From 1991 to 1994 they definitely did proper dance music that was (mostly) enjoyed by people who liked dance music, it was only with the later rock flirtation and big beat stuff that they started attracting other audiences in large numbers.
― Tuomas, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 17:55 (twelve years ago)
Bump.
― Tuomas, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 21:11 (twelve years ago)
If you don't mind, I'd like to add another major omission:
2 Bad Mice - Bombscare

I spotted it! But labelled under the non-artist "Changes of Life"
That said my nom of the original mix of renegade snares
I may also break rules to vote for Lil Louis - I Called U (the saxophone heavy mix) which I'd have nominated had I remembered in time.
― formerly EDB (ed.b), Friday, 21 September 2012 00:04 (twelve years ago)
Just to grumble a bit, seems weird that people are making comments about omissions now. The nomination list was up for some time.
― MikoMcha, Friday, 21 September 2012 06:09 (twelve years ago)
Sorry about the "Dead Eye" mislabeling, that was a copy + paste error. I added the proper the artist name, but Discogs says it's credited to Baby Ford alone. Is this version with Eon some other version of the track?
― Tuomas, Friday, 21 September 2012 06:15 (twelve years ago)
EDB, "Pacific State" and "I Called You" were both released in 1989, so they're not eligible here.

I also added you nomination of the original version of "Renegade Snares", sorry about missing that.
― Tuomas, Friday, 21 September 2012 06:27 (twelve years ago)
I'm not gonna accept write-in votes, because that would make vote counting too big a task for me, sorry. However, if you have unused nominations, post them here and I'll add them to the list.
― Tuomas, Friday, 21 September 2012 06:28 (twelve years ago)
Do the ballots need to be c+p'd directly from the nominations list? I know some poll-runners prefer this.
― Gavin, Leeds, Friday, 21 September 2012 11:22 (twelve years ago)
No, they don't have to be copy-pasted. I don't have any fancy program counting the votes, I do that manually, so it doesn't matter how you write the names as long as I can decipher them.
― Tuomas, Friday, 21 September 2012 12:29 (twelve years ago)
Ok cool.
Got my albums ballot more or less sorted - gutted at how many great things I had to leave off! Haven't even started on tracks yet. Been really looking forward to this poll.

I didn't nominate it at the time, but if you wouldn't mind including Reload - La Soleil et La Mer (which I thought I nominated but evidently didn't) I will in fact vote for it (Many times better than anything Ulrich Schnauss did, and many years before)

― Chewshabadoo, Friday, 21 September 2012 22:11 (twelve years ago)
Atari Teenage Riot - Fuck All on the other hand, is absolute shit. Amon Tobin - Bridge I like, but if that counts then Red Snapper should have done imo.

― formerly EDB (ed.b), Saturday, 22 September 2012 03:36 (twelve years ago)
Should I bother taking part if I found the last poll very discouraging? I think that my tastes have wildly diverged from ILM's over the years. Does anyone care? Doubtful. I certainly don't care very much about what a bunch of rockist music industry vets think about underground dance music. Granted, a handful of people here have exceptional taste.
― viborg, Saturday, 22 September 2012 13:59 (twelve years ago)

― MikoMcha, Wednesday, 26 September 2012 15:59 (twelve years ago)
i would definitely vote for 1 and maybe 4 of those.
also, can somebody confirm if it's really the original version of south street player '(who) keeps changing your mind' in the noms list and not the fresh fruit mix as i'd certainly throw a vote to the latter but not the former.
― second only to popcorn (or something), Thursday, 27 September 2012 07:05 (twelve years ago)
and who knew the original 'lfo' sounded like that? i thought the leeds warehouse mix was p much the original version, be careful of vote splits folx! vote leeds warehouse!
― second only to popcorn (or something), Thursday, 27 September 2012 07:06 (twelve years ago)
So, what does the original mix sound like? I can only find Leeds Warehouse. There is a mislabelled Seefeel track on youtube under lfo -lfo.
― Chewshabadoo, Thursday, 27 September 2012 08:39 (twelve years ago)
Yeah I was confused by this. The one on the album is the Leeds Warehouse mix isn't it? Anyway, that's the one I voted for.
― millmeister, Thursday, 27 September 2012 08:44 (twelve years ago)
ah that explains it, i think i saw the mislabelled youtube. well, that's a bit of a relief. i motion that votes for either lfo-lfo or lfo-lfo(leeds warehouse mix) are considered one and the same. now, for that south street players track...
― second only to popcorn (or something), Thursday, 27 September 2012 09:10 (twelve years ago)
Just looking at this bit of the list:
Prodigy, The Break and EnterProdigy, The Charly (Alley Cat Mix)Prodigy, The Everybody in the Place (Fairground Mix) Prodigy, The Fire (Sunrise Version)Prodigy, The No Good (Start the Dance)Prodigy, The One LoveProdigy, The Out of SpaceProdigy, The Voodoo People
Confirms Prodigy were the Nirvana of the rave generation - How am I supposed to leave any of these off??
― This Is... The Police (dog latin), Thursday, 27 September 2012 09:39 (twelve years ago)
Never realised all those Prodigy tracks started with the definite article.
― ledge, Thursday, 27 September 2012 09:40 (twelve years ago)
Looks like the "Leeds Warehouse Mix" is the original mix of "LFO", or at least I haven't been able to locate any original mix, so I'll remove the other "LFO" from the list.
Citizen Smith's nominations are valid, I'll add them to the list later today.
As for South Streer Player, this is the version D-40 nominated. I'm not familiar with the track, but it appears to be the B side of the original single, not the "Fresh Fruit Mix". I added the "Night Mix" part to its entry, as I seem to have left that out.
― Tuomas, Thursday, 27 September 2012 09:49 (twelve years ago)
Might want to conflate "Born Slippy" and "Born Slippy (Nuxx)" too.
― Mark G, Thursday, 27 September 2012 09:51 (twelve years ago)
Hey, Dog Latin, you didn't specify which version of "Fire" you wanted to nom, so I added the "Sunrise Version" aka the version on the album. But if actually meant "Burning Version" aka the first track of the single, I can change it to that.
They are two different tracks.
― Tuomas, Thursday, 27 September 2012 09:54 (twelve years ago)
And Algerian Goalkeeper specified he wanted to nominate the original version of Born Slippy, the Nuxx version had already nommed. That's why I added the notes to the lists, so people wouldn't think the original version is the famous one.
― Tuomas, Thursday, 27 September 2012 09:56 (twelve years ago)
It is, though. One is the 7" edit, the other runs on into the elongated drummy-bit that is "Nuxx"
― Mark G, Thursday, 27 September 2012 09:58 (twelve years ago)

I've been picking away at a ballot; required a bit of aural re-calibration after getting deep into the Joni Mitchell zone.
― etc, Friday, 5 October 2012 09:24 (twelve years ago)
just back from holiday and, as i can barely walk, i'm going to spend the day on the settee getting stuck into this and catching up with 'pointless' on the iplayer. bliss. probably just going to do a tracks ballot too tho, not hugely interested in an albums poll and doubt i could find 25 albums i'm enthusiastic enough about to vote for.
― second only to popcorn (or something), Friday, 5 October 2012 10:49 (twelve years ago)
i wish i'd remembered to nom Underworld - Juanita. guess i'll have to throw my weight behind Jumbo or Dark Train.
― second only to popcorn (or something), Friday, 5 October 2012 10:53 (twelve years ago)
Would it help if I extended the deadline to Tuesday? I probably won't manage to finish tallying the ballots on Monday anyway.
― Tuomas, Friday, 5 October 2012 10:58 (twelve years ago)
I've not had a chance to look through, and have a very busy weekend until Monday evening, so late on Tuesday would be a big help for me.
― Chewshabadoo, Friday, 5 October 2012 11:29 (twelve years ago)
I'll get mine done at the weekend I put a reminder to vote in this poll on the 70s rock nominations thread and the 80s poll results. Hope that helps!
― Algerian Goalkeeper, Friday, 5 October 2012 11:39 (twelve years ago)
I voted for Juanita xp - didn't notice it hadn't been nominated. Give it some points anyway, I say.
― Ismael Klata, Friday, 5 October 2012 11:41 (twelve years ago)
shall we? yeah, come on, let's all vote for Juanita! just to clarify, tuomas, i nommed the original instrumental version of Gat Decor - Passion and not Passion (of your Passion) with the pointless breathy vocals.
― second only to popcorn (or something), Friday, 5 October 2012 11:47 (twelve years ago)
Is that version called "Naked Mix"?
― Tuomas, Friday, 5 October 2012 12:40 (twelve years ago)
As on this record? http://www.discogs.com/Gat-Decor-Passion/release/43465
― Tuomas, Friday, 5 October 2012 12:41 (twelve years ago)
yeah the naked mix, that's right. joking apart am i right in thinking you won't accept write ins for Juanita unless it's nommed?
― second only to popcorn (or something), Friday, 5 October 2012 12:58 (twelve years ago)
Yeah, sorry, no write-ins accepted. If I'd accept them it'd take too much effort to count the votes, plus since the amount of voters doesn't appear to be huge, there's the risk of votes getting dispersed so wide we'd get no proper results.
― Tuomas, Friday, 5 October 2012 13:03 (twelve years ago)
could we just ratify Juanita then? seeing as ismael has voted for it and i would like to?
― second only to popcorn (or something), Friday, 5 October 2012 15:55 (twelve years ago)
i realise this must be annoying and kind of makes a mockery of the month long nominations process you had to keep bumping.
― second only to popcorn (or something), Friday, 5 October 2012 15:58 (twelve years ago)
Am I ok to just do a tracks ballot, not an album ballot? Don't think I've got wide enough knowledge with the albums to make it worth it.
― Sock Puppets II (Mr Andy M), Friday, 5 October 2012 19:46 (twelve years ago)
Yeah, just a tracks ballot is fine.
Okay, I guess I can count the points for for Juanita. But I'll accept no more write-ins after this.
― Tuomas, Friday, 5 October 2012 21:40 (twelve years ago)
Thanks, I'll get on with it.Suspect the influence of spending time on the ROCK polls will lead to me voting for loads of pounding techno-rave tunes (if they've been nominated).
― Sock Puppets II (Mr Andy M), Friday, 5 October 2012 21:43 (twelve years ago)
thanks tuomas.
― second only to popcorn (or something), Friday, 5 October 2012 22:34 (twelve years ago)

Yikes, that badge is kind of giant... but you get the idea...
― MikoMcha, Saturday, 6 October 2012 19:35 (twelve years ago)
OK the tracks nom list has waaay more personal faves than I expected - thumbs up to everyone that put them there.
― Mr Andy M, Sunday, 7 October 2012 11:14 (twelve years ago)
Minor point but 'Durban Poison - Babylon Timewarp', the title and artist name are the wrong way round here, right?
― Mr Andy M, Sunday, 7 October 2012 12:02 (twelve years ago)
Damn, I really should have waded into the nominations thread. Chemical Beats, Elektrobank and Private Psychedelic Reel aren't eligible but Morning Lemon, Lost in the K-Hole and Not Another Drugstore are?― Get wolves (DL), Monday, 1 October 2012 16:24 (6 days ago)
Blame me, I nominated those three but somehow forgot Elektrobank.
― Mountain Excitement (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Sunday, 7 October 2012 19:48 (twelve years ago)
Sent my ballot for tracks, let me know if you got it ok Tuomas.
― quiddities and agonies of the rolling class (Mr Andy M), Sunday, 7 October 2012 20:30 (twelve years ago)
Not quite finished w/my ballot and having to dash out - hopefully should get it in in ~9-10 hours time? Had forgotten how massive Jo's "R-Type" was, wow.
― etc, Monday, 8 October 2012 02:19 (twelve years ago)
I assume we're talking about the 'Live Garage' mix of Roy Davis Jr. Gabrielle.
― Chewshabadoo, Monday, 8 October 2012 08:31 (twelve years ago)
Theo Parrish 'Rain for Jimmy' is a 3 Chairs release?
― Chewshabadoo, Monday, 8 October 2012 08:38 (twelve years ago)
I'll get a ballot in tomorrow, if the deadline bumped
― fistula-la-la (sic), Monday, 8 October 2012 08:54 (twelve years ago)
I'm putting my ballot together and if I'm not mistaken
"DJ Funk - There's Some Hoes In This House"
is actually
Frank Ski - Whores In This House
― Cap'n Hug-a-Thug (The Reverend), Monday, 8 October 2012 08:55 (twelve years ago)
Decided to just go for it and spend an hour on an instinctive, gut-feeling list. Tracks only.
― Chewshabadoo, Monday, 8 October 2012 09:11 (twelve years ago)
Oh no, no one nominated Planet Soul - Set U Free. This will not stand.
― Cap'n Hug-a-Thug (The Reverend), Monday, 8 October 2012 09:38 (twelve years ago)
Voted. I found the whole process very traumatic though.
― Tim F, Monday, 8 October 2012 09:53 (twelve years ago)
ok, I legit fucking did nominate Soho - Hot Music and it isn't on the list wtf
― Cap'n Hug-a-Thug (The Reverend), Monday, 8 October 2012 09:57 (twelve years ago)
xp Ditto
― Get wolves (DL), Monday, 8 October 2012 09:59 (twelve years ago)
Thanks for all the voters! It turns out I'm pretty busy this week, and I think we could still get more ballots, so I'm gonna extend the voting period by one week. The new deadline is:
Monday, October 15th, 12PM (GMT)
I've sent a reply to every ballot I've received. If you haven't gotten a reply, then your email hasn't for some reason reached me.
― Tuomas, Monday, 8 October 2012 10:30 (twelve years ago)
Hmm, maybe I should put that in bold:
The new deadline is Monday, October 15th, 12PM (GMT)
― Tuomas, Monday, 8 October 2012 10:31 (twelve years ago)
So far 25 people have sent me ballots. The 00s poll had 50 voters, I'm not sure if we'll reach quite the same number... But there are still people who nominated tracks and haven't voted yet, and I think there are other potential voters too.
I'm still hoping to get votes from folks like Dan, Kate, Deej, Chap, etc... So here's your chance!
― Tuomas, Monday, 8 October 2012 10:55 (twelve years ago)
I've sent a reply to every ballot I've receivedGot it. :)
― quiddities and agonies of the rolling class (Mr Andy M), Monday, 8 October 2012 17:05 (twelve years ago)
Decided to just go for it and spend an hour on an instinctive, gut-feeling list. Tracks only.Ditto. Couldn't squeeze in every single tune I would have wanted to, but overall I feel like my ballot here is much more 'me' than my ballot in the 00s poll. That one was fun because it gave me the chance to check out some good stuff from a little outside my comfort/familiarity zone, but this list feels way more representative of the music I like to dance to, blast mixes of on my headphones etc. Also had a look through the albums nom list and I'm really glad that mixes have been included. Looking forward to the rollout on this!
― quiddities and agonies of the rolling class (Mr Andy M), Monday, 8 October 2012 17:09 (twelve years ago)
Yeah, this is was hard. I went on instinct as well, but am actually happy at the results.
Of course, the idea of this is kind of insane. Is there any other era of music with seemingly infinite riches? And which also tends to resist the selection of individual tracks in this way since so much of it is directed to mixing.
Have no idea what the poll results will look like.
― MikoMcha, Monday, 8 October 2012 18:11 (twelve years ago)
― Tuomas, Tuesday, 9 October 2012 06:29 (twelve years ago)
new deadline, sweet, i will try to wrangle something together.
― blank, Tuesday, 9 October 2012 06:33 (twelve years ago)
I voted!
― Algerian Goalkeeper, Tuesday, 9 October 2012 06:34 (twelve years ago)
I finished my ballots but didn't vote, just to keep Tuomas nervous
― fistula-la-la (sic), Tuesday, 9 October 2012 07:04 (twelve years ago)
thenk you new deadline!
― Porto for Pyros (The Cursed Return of the Dastardly Thermo Thinwall), Wednesday, 10 October 2012 06:20 (twelve years ago)
No prob!
― Tuomas, Wednesday, 10 October 2012 06:35 (twelve years ago)
thanks also for the comments in the spreadsheet re:different versions/mixes.
― blank, Thursday, 11 October 2012 06:59 (twelve years ago)
I think there was some confusion in the 00s poll about which mix is which, so I thought this would help. Especially with tracks like "Remember Me" or "Show Me Love", where the most famous version is a remix.
― Tuomas, Thursday, 11 October 2012 15:24 (twelve years ago)
Remember, you have only this weekend left to vote.
― Tuomas, Friday, 12 October 2012 19:38 (twelve years ago)
I like that you were worried about being swamped with so many ballots that you needed a measure to filter out the fake ones.
― set the controls for the arse of your mum (sic), Saturday, 13 October 2012 04:41 (twelve years ago)
How many ballots are in now?
― MikoMcha, Saturday, 13 October 2012 08:05 (twelve years ago)
About 30 people have sent ballots, I think... Though many have voten only for tracks.
― Tuomas, Saturday, 13 October 2012 09:25 (twelve years ago)
Ah, it should be enough, looking forward to this!
― MikoMcha, Saturday, 13 October 2012 14:08 (twelve years ago)
How many of those are fake?
― Mountain Excitement (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Saturday, 13 October 2012 16:35 (twelve years ago)
All of them.
― MikoMcha, Saturday, 13 October 2012 16:57 (twelve years ago)
― Tuomas, Sunday, 14 October 2012 16:19 (twelve years ago)
Tuomas did you get the first part of my ballot?
― fun loving and xtremely tolrant (Billy Dods), Sunday, 14 October 2012 16:23 (twelve years ago)
Yeah, I did.
― Tuomas, Sunday, 14 October 2012 21:25 (twelve years ago)
entered my tracks ballot last week and didn't intend to do an albums ballot but toying with throwing one in, is that cool?
― second only to popcorn (or something), Sunday, 14 October 2012 21:33 (twelve years ago)
Just sent in my ballot, Tuomas.
― etc, Monday, 15 October 2012 01:09 (twelve years ago)
Sure!
― Tuomas, Monday, 15 October 2012 08:27 (twelve years ago)
i would have done but my email is being a dick and i'm in work in an hour. ah well, looking forward to the rundowns anyway.

i vote for energy flash and blue lines
― KitevsPill, Monday, 15 October 2012 11:43 (twelve years ago)
I've come down with the flu, so I won't be doing any vote counting today. Or Something and Durrr, you can still send your ballots.
― Tuomas, Monday, 15 October 2012 14:40 (twelve years ago)
sent!
― dan138zig (Durrr Durrr Durrrrrr), Monday, 15 October 2012 16:56 (twelve years ago)
will send in mine this eve, i swear!
― Porto for Pyros (The Cursed Return of the Dastardly Thermo Thinwall), Monday, 15 October 2012 17:23 (twelve years ago)
I feel like an ass now. I'd kind of ignored this, assuming it focused on dancefloor-oriented stuff. (Wasn't there a poll like that recently?) I just scanned the albums list and see a tonne of albums I love. Not sure I'll be able to put together a ballot in time though.:( Eager to see the results.
― EveningStar (Sund4r), Monday, 15 October 2012 17:26 (twelve years ago)
There was a dancefloor-oriented poll for 00s electronic tracks, but this one is more general "electronic music" poll with ambient/chill-out/IDM stuff also included. I probably won't start counting votes until tomorrow around this time (6PM GMT), so if you can come up with a ballot before that, I'll count it in.
― Tuomas, Monday, 15 October 2012 17:37 (twelve years ago)
cheeky album ballot sent.
― second only to popcorn (or something), Monday, 15 October 2012 23:51 (twelve years ago)
I can finish mine 22 hours from now. Would that be ok?
― azaera, Tuesday, 16 October 2012 06:55 (twelve years ago)
Never mind, just sent it (25 albums, only 33 tracks, but better than nothing). Please let me know if you didn't receive it, Tuomas. Thanks.
― azaera, Tuesday, 16 October 2012 07:22 (twelve years ago)
think i did 22 albums and 60 songs... something like that.
― Porto for Pyros (The Cursed Return of the Dastardly Thermo Thinwall), Tuesday, 16 October 2012 13:52 (twelve years ago)
Thanks for all the voters! I'm still down with the flu, so it'll probably take until next week before I can start rolling the results.
― Tuomas, Wednesday, 17 October 2012 06:19 (twelve years ago)
when's this rolling out then?
― second only to popcorn (or something), Wednesday, 24 October 2012 09:45 (twelve years ago)
Could we have a link on this thread when it starts? With the '00 I missed it for the first few days because there wasn't a link. Thanks Tuomas.
― Chewshabadoo, Wednesday, 24 October 2012 09:54 (twelve years ago)
I'll try to get it rolling later this week, maybe Saturday.
― Tuomas, Wednesday, 24 October 2012 16:12 (twelve years ago)
And yeah, I'll post a link to this thread when it starts.
POSSE! YOU KEEP THE SPIRIT ALIVE! It's the 1990s ELECTRONIC ALBUMS poll results!
