It's pretty great at the moment, isn't it. "You're dead to me!"

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 10 June 2003 06:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Delphi is smoking POT! With a guy called BAILEY!

Livvie (Livvie), Tuesday, 10 June 2003 08:20 (twenty-two years ago)

bailey is the gayest name in the history of humanity
no one called bailey would win a fight, ever

webber (webber), Tuesday, 10 June 2003 09:19 (twenty-two years ago)

He's a drug dealer and has funny hair, he's pretty hardcore. He is also an orderly at the hospital.

Livvie (Livvie), Tuesday, 10 June 2003 10:00 (twenty-two years ago)

I can't wait to see the video diary scandal!!!!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 10 June 2003 10:15 (twenty-two years ago)

hahaha more punching ensues, i hope. i'm glad victor hit anne, shes a cock.

di smith (lucylurex), Tuesday, 10 June 2003 10:24 (twenty-two years ago)

i missed tonight! what happened to Delphi's video diary?

Ann deserves anything she gets, i mean, she's from Cambridge.

petra jane (petra jane), Tuesday, 10 June 2003 10:27 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah, like the datsuns.

di smith (lucylurex), Tuesday, 10 June 2003 10:30 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah and that poggy bitch from the Colds...

petra jane (petra jane), Tuesday, 10 June 2003 10:32 (twenty-two years ago)

she can't be that bad, i hear she has a really cool zine.

di smith (lucylurex), Tuesday, 10 June 2003 10:35 (twenty-two years ago)

I'd love to read any zine made by Anne! Oh, you meant the other one, right.

Livvie (Livvie), Tuesday, 10 June 2003 10:37 (twenty-two years ago)

i wish Ann Kahu had a zine. it would all be about horsies and kittens.

petra jane (petra jane), Tuesday, 10 June 2003 10:38 (twenty-two years ago)

she should do a zine about rooting your husbands son.

di smith (lucylurex), Tuesday, 10 June 2003 10:39 (twenty-two years ago)

YES. and marrying dirty old men for money.

petra jane (petra jane), Tuesday, 10 June 2003 10:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Victor's hella hot, though, I don't blame her

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 10 June 2003 10:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Once the divorce is finalised Delphi can marry him. She must be on to HARD PHARMACEUTICAL DRUGZZZZ within two years, i mean she turned alcoholic pot feind slag in a week.

petra jane (petra jane), Tuesday, 10 June 2003 10:48 (twenty-two years ago)

also: best thread ever.

petra jane (petra jane), Tuesday, 10 June 2003 10:49 (twenty-two years ago)

Thanks. On to tomorrow's revelations, then

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 10 June 2003 14:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Also: Robbie and Geoff are now practically best friends - did I miss the resolution or did that conflict just disppear into thin air?

Livvie (Livvie), Tuesday, 10 June 2003 19:39 (twenty-two years ago)

so wait, is tama still on it or what.

webber (webber), Tuesday, 10 June 2003 20:50 (twenty-two years ago)

No one knows why Robbie and Geoff are friends!! You didn't miss anything..

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 11 June 2003 00:13 (twenty-two years ago)

robbie and geoff are dating.

di smith (lucylurex), Wednesday, 11 June 2003 00:50 (twenty-two years ago)

I thought that too! They'd better reveal it soon.

Livvie (Livvie), Wednesday, 11 June 2003 01:06 (twenty-two years ago)

Tonight's episode was pretty good, Delphi's ostentatious teen makeout w/Bailey was great!

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Wednesday, 11 June 2003 11:52 (twenty-two years ago)

oh i missed it. did dom get in the shit? are robbie and geoff "out" yet?

di smith (lucylurex), Wednesday, 11 June 2003 12:24 (twenty-two years ago)

No and no, sorry.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Wednesday, 11 June 2003 12:34 (twenty-two years ago)

I think I'm in love with Gary the med student.

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Thursday, 12 June 2003 01:15 (twenty-two years ago)

So's Adam, or Li Mei, or someone I'm sure.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 12 June 2003 01:47 (twenty-two years ago)

I hope it's Adam, he'd probbly be less competetion.

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Thursday, 12 June 2003 02:00 (twenty-two years ago)

probably, competition

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Thursday, 12 June 2003 02:23 (twenty-two years ago)

"Gary" is such a DORK.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 12 June 2003 02:57 (twenty-two years ago)

Are you drunk, Livvie? Yes he IS, I hope something stupid happens to him by way of a plotline. Like him and Li Mei get stuck in a lift, or something like that.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 12 June 2003 03:06 (twenty-two years ago)

Then maybe he'll get sick and Li Mei will be forced to operate on him. Remember that time Chris Warner sprayed the mase down his throat cos he thought it was fresh breath stuff?

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 12 June 2003 03:12 (twenty-two years ago)

HAHAHAHAHA! I bet Li Mei'll have to perform a tracheotomy (sp?), that's always what happens, it's so dramatic.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 12 June 2003 03:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah that was it! It was another one of those stupid storylines "Gasp! Dr Love has bad breath!" but something actually happened, unlike Little Blossom Brownlee.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 12 June 2003 04:05 (twenty-two years ago)

Well rock on Li Mei, you devil

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 13 June 2003 06:34 (twenty-two years ago)

what did i miss tonight?

di smith (lucylurex), Friday, 13 June 2003 07:33 (twenty-two years ago)

Oooh stuff. Li Mei's breaking Toni and Matt up, Judy went NUTS when Max proposed, Waverly had a crappy farewell party and left the social club in tatters.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 13 June 2003 07:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh that was so scandalous!!!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 13 June 2003 07:58 (twenty-two years ago)

I expect daily plot updates on this thread while I am away.

Livvie (Livvie), Sunday, 15 June 2003 09:48 (twenty-two years ago)

So who saw it tonight? Toni and Li Mei battled it out!!!!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 18 June 2003 12:53 (twenty-two years ago)

THAT was great, but it got stopped too soon. Also, Waverley's back at the clinic, Delphi's FUCKING Bailey, Dom's bummed, Toni and Matt might be breaking up. OH NO. Um, some other stuff. Victor cut off Anne's joint bank account w/him, and her credit cards.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Wednesday, 18 June 2003 12:57 (twenty-two years ago)

Someone left Anne an anonymous $1000 in her locker at work so it's ok!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 18 June 2003 13:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh I forgot that, I forget so much Shortland St stuff

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Wednesday, 18 June 2003 13:03 (twenty-two years ago)

haha i loved that bitch fight between toni and le mei. "she shagged my husband!"

di smith (lucylurex), Wednesday, 18 June 2003 22:41 (twenty-two years ago)

oh no Waverly left the foodglue out of the nibbles

ducklingmonster, Thursday, 19 June 2003 03:18 (twenty-two years ago)

I liked it when the clinic people came in and Waverly was shouting about a disaster and they were like "what disaster?!" and Nick was like "oh no she said I am the Master!"
HA
Also who says "shagged" during a bitch fight

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 19 June 2003 05:06 (twenty-two years ago)

Max is staying in NZ for the love of Judy, but he's going to die. Geoff is, indeed, going to do Robbie. Victor's angry at everyone except Tama. Other stuff too.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 19 June 2003 06:34 (twenty-two years ago)

I loved the artistic shots of stained glass and statues when Anne went to church! Also I cannot wait for Geoff and Robbie!! Geoff gave a flirty smile.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 19 June 2003 06:40 (twenty-two years ago)

Shortland St! Its genius is treating insane soap opera plots SERIOUSLY.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 19 June 2003 06:51 (twenty-two years ago)

fuck it all happens when dunedin is having their lite music club, doesn't it. gah!

di smith (lucylurex), Thursday, 19 June 2003 21:31 (twenty-two years ago)

God the writers hate Judy even more than the increasingly clownlike Waverly... also, isn't it great how gay people on Tv are always telepathic?

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 20 June 2003 06:32 (twenty-two years ago)

Shannon's all mopey cos Victor's angry w/her, she invited Nelson over (a week after he and Anne fucked?), and he was unhappy to see him. Geoff has suppressed his burning desires as he's been scared his parents would find out, despite living in a different city. Delphi continues to see Bailey and caught G/R about to kiss. I had a really nice dinner, I ate it right up.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 20 June 2003 06:37 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah Max is probably going to die. Poor Judy!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 20 June 2003 08:52 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh he surely will! Maybe an older couple would be too GROSS for the show or something... Toni/Matt was a hella gross coupling, but never mind that...

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 20 June 2003 10:42 (twenty-two years ago)

I think we've forgotten to mention that Toni and Matt have broken up and Matt has gone to Sydney. THANK GOD!!!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 20 June 2003 11:07 (twenty-two years ago)

Nelson's moving in w/Toni, too, so they'll probably ROOT pretty soon

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 20 June 2003 12:44 (twenty-two years ago)

It's kinda funny that we all "saw" Robbie and Geoff before G did

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 20 June 2003 13:10 (twenty-two years ago)

i think it fucking sucks they are killing max off. judy is one of the best characters, why doesn't she get to have a real love life?

di smith (lucylurex), Saturday, 21 June 2003 00:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Duh. Because she's OLD and it would be GROSS. Ewww!
Grrrrrr.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Sunday, 22 June 2003 02:33 (twenty-two years ago)

Delphi hassled Geoff a whole bunch. Max told Judy he doesn't want to see her anymore now that he's dying, but Judy wouldn't stand for it and decided to accept his proposal right then - he's all pleased, they're getting married! Unfortunately it looks like he will die before this ever happens, thanks Shortland St. Chris went over to Toni's house and took Harry away because he didn't think Nelson was a suitable babysitter as he'd had a couple of beers and joined Harry's nappies up with duct tape. Toni isn't pleased. That's about it, wasn't a very eventful episode.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Monday, 23 June 2003 06:34 (twenty-two years ago)

Shortland Street is the best thing about NZ, ever. I miss it so much!

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Monday, 23 June 2003 09:17 (twenty-two years ago)

Li Mei has been irritating Toni. We were tricked into thinking Max was going to die, it turned out he was SLEEPING. Fiona turned up and is being bitchy and mean to Judy. Bailey talked in "fag voice" and hassled Geoff!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 24 June 2003 07:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Fiona was bitching at Max cos she reckons Judy's only marrying him for money, he had some sort of brain attack. He's back in hospital now. Delphi is trying to be nice to Geoff, who is now sleeping with some woman. However at the end he was kissed by Robbie! Scandal! Bailey doesn't think much of Tama. I can't remember what else happened.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 25 June 2003 11:17 (twenty-two years ago)

Donna has found a ragtag young streetkid type guy and he's some kind of genius, of course. Geoff came on to Toni cos he's freaking out.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 26 June 2003 06:19 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah, geoff and robbie slept together but geoff still doesn't want to admit hes gay. barb let delphi and bailey hang out in her house, and when she came back she heard delphi call her a silly old tart or something, they had drunk all her wine or something. max's daughter wants to get with nelson.

di smith (lucylurex), Thursday, 26 June 2003 09:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Shortland St reaches bold new heights of complete idiocy as Max dies the INSTANT HIM AND JUDY GET MARRIED. Geoff gets drunk and comes out to Dom, hassling his date in the process.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 27 June 2003 06:33 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh god that was SO TRAGIC! I knew that would happen. Anyway it seems Nelson is going to get with Max's daughter. Anne is jealous, of course.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 27 June 2003 07:53 (twenty-two years ago)

I also loved the way Geoff came out to Dom, it was so Shortland St. "I fancy the blokes more" or something like that.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 27 June 2003 07:57 (twenty-two years ago)

And tonight he has a date w/some guy he met while he was "off sailing" which it turns out means he was off scoring dudes. Judy is sad. Anne/Victor seem to be getting back together, Nick was a dick and burnt Waverley's casserole, Nelson GOT W/Max's grieving daughter, Marshall gave Bailey back his speed. No sign of Adam or Li Mei.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 30 June 2003 06:51 (twenty-two years ago)

waverley lost her wedding ring too, and she hasn't told nick. delphi is getting sick of bailey. i am in love with robbie, he has an adorable smile.

di smith (lucylurex), Monday, 30 June 2003 08:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Hey you can go "Hello sailor" to Geoff and it'll be like ACCURATE! Robbie is, and fair enough, rather pissed w/Geoff, who's shaping up to be as casual w/guys as he was w/the ladies.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 30 June 2003 08:27 (twenty-two years ago)

When did Geoff go off slutting with guys??? I must have not being paying attention. Poor old Robbie expecting a romantic evening. I guess it's not a suprise, that rascal Geoff.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Monday, 30 June 2003 08:49 (twenty-two years ago)

It's another idiotic Waverly storyline. Lucas took her ring cos he's all into Lord of the Rings. Nick will probably find it in his room and Waverly will still be pretending she hasn't lost it. Sigh.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Monday, 30 June 2003 08:56 (twenty-two years ago)

Dephi had to stash some P for Bailey and some tough guys turned up. Robbie and Geoff are now "together" and are going on a sailing weekend. Donna and Dom are feuding. Anne is moving in with Judy - Oh! and it turns out Victor didn't want her ass back, he wanted a seperation. Anne was expecting a romantic visit, but it was just a lawyer. Poor Anne!
Fiona is going back home and Nelson broke up with her and said he's still in love with Anne. Is he serious? We will see I guess.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 4 July 2003 09:26 (twenty-two years ago)

more plz

marc rudolf, Tuesday, 8 July 2003 09:34 (twenty-two years ago)

this is the gayest shit ever....................ever. God I miss the Backstreet Boys! My favourite is Howie.

DEICIDE, Wednesday, 9 July 2003 17:38 (twenty-two years ago)

has anyone read this week's woman's weekly? about the guy who plays geoff talking about being gay?

di smith (lucylurex), Wednesday, 9 July 2003 22:35 (twenty-two years ago)

Tama sang a song about how much he loves hiphop. He looks like he might be into this girl from um, whatever they call their version of Mai FM. Nick's getting a new job, Victor helped Li Mei stay in the country but DIDN'T fuck her. He also had another fight w/Nelson. Te Hana's turned up. The genius streetkid ran off when he got accused of stealing a wallet.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 14 July 2003 06:53 (twenty-two years ago)

No-one likes hiphop but "Sticky" likes PJ Harvey. "Pure energy!"

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 14 July 2003 06:54 (twenty-two years ago)

shannon is about to try and kill herself. :-( :-( :-(

di smith (lucylurex), Monday, 14 July 2003 09:01 (twenty-two years ago)

She'll probably move up north with Te Hana to recover

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 00:52 (twenty-two years ago)

She won't manage it, the LOSER

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 01:20 (twenty-two years ago)

livvie when are you coming back? i miss you!

di smith (lucylurex), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 01:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Marshall and Delphi are gonna make a film called "Love Sucks".

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 07:23 (twenty-two years ago)

toni is getting it on with the new dr, sticky. matt only left her five minutes ago.

di smith (lucylurex), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 07:32 (twenty-two years ago)

no she's not! they're only pretending to!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 10:20 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh they got Shannon to hospital and she puked up lots of black stuff. When Victor went to get Tama he was busy making out with the girl from the radio station.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 10:21 (twenty-two years ago)

Nick got eaten by a dinosaur! The weird thing was, it was a stegosaurus, and they're usually vegetarian

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 12:29 (twenty-two years ago)

And Anne's behaviour w/Victor/Nelson has made Te Hana think of her as nothing more than a "filthy slut" or something like that.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 12:36 (twenty-two years ago)

Di - I'm back on Friday!

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 19:18 (twenty-two years ago)

yay livvie!

yeah E they were pretending too for a start but don't you think they enjoyed kissing an awful lot? my theory is they will get it on.

di smith (lucylurex), Tuesday, 15 July 2003 19:33 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh now they are into each other or something. Shannon has been taken home but she's still very sad. GEOFF FINALLY WATCHED THE DOM/DELPHI VIDEO! Sparks will fly! In the next episode he calls Dom a "sick freak". Also Dom was on his way up to tell Delphi he really loves her.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 10:26 (twenty-two years ago)

oh my god, so much happned and i missed it!

di smith (lucylurex), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 23:09 (twenty-two years ago)

so much happened and i didn't even see it...

di smith (lucylurex), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 23:10 (twenty-two years ago)

phwoar

http://www.zoomslide.com/images/video/phobic/phobic03.jpg

di smith (lucylurex), Thursday, 17 July 2003 07:20 (twenty-two years ago)

Hey Livvie you're back! Did you see Shortland Street tonight? Is it puzzling you?

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 18 July 2003 09:50 (twenty-two years ago)

No I didn't see it! But I am forever grateful to you guys for keeping up this thread so I knew what was going on.

Livvie (Livvie), Sunday, 20 July 2003 02:37 (twenty-two years ago)

Shortland Street reached new heights of ridiculousness tonight. The "fruit festival", Waverly's misunderstanding of the context of the word "fruit", Geoff and Robbie's bickering over their outfits, Geoff and Robbie's eventual outfits, and what the fuck was with the toast shot after Barb and Sticky in the kitchen?

Livvie (Livvie), Monday, 28 July 2003 08:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Ha you noticed that toast shot too! I'll tell you what it was - Angela Bloomfield directed that episode.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Monday, 28 July 2003 09:02 (twenty-two years ago)

Nick doesn't want to go to the "fruit festival" and Waverly says "next thing he'll be joining the fundamentalists and speaking in tongues!"

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Monday, 28 July 2003 09:04 (twenty-two years ago)

that was a truly great episode! the toast popping, nick's banana outfit, and heavens isn't robbie a sexpot in them little short shorts and makeup :-). is angela bloomfield a faghag?

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Monday, 28 July 2003 09:33 (twenty-two years ago)

No, she just likes erection metaphors

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 28 July 2003 09:41 (twenty-two years ago)

When's the last time anyone used "fruit" in that sense, really? Apart from a few hours ago on Shortland St, I mean

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 28 July 2003 09:42 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't know, I've never used or heard it used in that way, but I am glad it gave Nick the opportunity to adopt that banana headdress.

Livvie (Livvie), Monday, 28 July 2003 10:09 (twenty-two years ago)

Is that a picture of Lola?

Adrian McCoy (Adrian McCoy), Tuesday, 29 July 2003 00:26 (twenty-two years ago)

oh no high drama oh no!! dom getting the bash by a GANG MEMBER & then nelson being all RECKLESS & getting captured by the gang & waverly being a detective cuz she thinks nick + robbie were getting it on & then robbie being caught by wave + geoff & so on & so on.

um but this is the first episode I've seen in ages - what's w/ li mei & victor, are sticky & barb together (how?!?), why is society-women engaged to dominic (what about delphie?) & so on & so on.
& when did it become an hour long?

Ess Kay (esskay), Monday, 4 August 2003 08:26 (twenty-two years ago)

Li Mei last week and Dom this week: apparently Monday is going to be near-death-day from now on. Who is next, I wonder? I hope it's the annoying illiterate girl, or Waverly maybe.

Livvie (Livvie), Monday, 4 August 2003 08:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Li Mei wants to use her wiles to pull one over on the boss. I think. Sticky and Barb, he was after a bunch of women and eventually settled on her cos they both liked some dumb "romantic" movie.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 4 August 2003 09:46 (twenty-two years ago)

I guess it might not be that good if Dom or Nelson get killed or whatever because I wouldn't have any characters that irritate me nearly as much as those two

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Monday, 4 August 2003 09:56 (twenty-two years ago)

What about ANNE?

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 4 August 2003 09:57 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah there is totally something going on w/ Li Mei/Victor. I missed Friday so I wasn't sure if I should know about it or what. Nelson will survive, I know cause I read the Listener.

Livvie (Livvie), Monday, 4 August 2003 09:58 (twenty-two years ago)

His zombified corpse will "survive", sure

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 4 August 2003 10:13 (twenty-two years ago)

His acting is such that we probably wouldn't notice the difference.

Livvie (Livvie), Monday, 4 August 2003 10:25 (twenty-two years ago)

It's an hour on Mondays now, courtesy winter

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 4 August 2003 12:37 (twenty-two years ago)

there is more to sticky and barb's relationship than a dumb movie!!! they both love country music, its a match made in heaven. oh my god i am so in love with adam, he is just like me!

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Monday, 4 August 2003 21:35 (twenty-two years ago)

Geez Di I hope you aren't that highly strung! I'm in love w/ Robbie, that SLUT.

Livvie (Livvie), Monday, 4 August 2003 22:28 (twenty-two years ago)

yes. yes i am. i am also enamoured of robbie. when is dom gonna dump that cranky bag and get with delphi?

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Tuesday, 5 August 2003 00:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Soon, I hope, she's boring. Even the vague hints of gold-digging they are giving out aren't very exciting. I want Dom and Delphi to get it tother!

Livvie (Livvie), Tuesday, 5 August 2003 00:55 (twenty-two years ago)

The gold digging thing is stupid - it's Chris who has money not DOM. And yeah it's boring. Tama should hang out with Delphi now that Shannon's too wild for him. They could have a kick around in the park like the good old days.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 5 August 2003 00:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah Tama and Delphi's friendship just sort of faded out! Maybe Tama will be the next Shortland Street gay recruit, who knows.

Livvie (Livvie), Tuesday, 5 August 2003 01:01 (twenty-two years ago)

He had his chance already, remember Toni's homo cousin Ben? He came out to Tama and managed to hit on him at the same time.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 5 August 2003 01:15 (twenty-two years ago)

"Why do you think I've been hanging out with you so much?"

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 5 August 2003 01:17 (twenty-two years ago)

No I never saw that! HAHAHAHA! I wish I'd seen Geoff coming out to Dom, I've missed all of Shortland Street's best gay moments.

Livvie (Livvie), Tuesday, 5 August 2003 01:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Geoff said something along the lines of "you're a very special guy Robbie" it was beautiful

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 5 August 2003 02:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Tonights episode - I hate it when Waverly and Nick talk about sex, yuck yuck Waverly and Nick ew.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 5 August 2003 08:41 (twenty-two years ago)

that g string shit, oh ewwwwwww.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Tuesday, 5 August 2003 19:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah! "It would look GREAT on another man" says Waverly. And Nelson didn't die, surprise surprise although it looks as if he may be joining a cult.

Livvie (Livvie), Tuesday, 5 August 2003 21:17 (twenty-two years ago)

what happened tonight?

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Wednesday, 6 August 2003 08:02 (twenty-two years ago)

Not much really. Li Mei hasn't got money and wants extra illegal work. Nelson went to that "gangs" place to fix up the guy's beat up head a bit and the police turned up. I wasn't concentrating that well though..

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 6 August 2003 08:57 (twenty-two years ago)

tama took the fall for shannon & got FIRED! & now shannon wants to run away!
dominic & delphi had a MOMENT & stuff (+ he's now a warner), & dom yelled at toni when she prodded him re: it.

Li Mei borrowed $600 off Anne (I think tomorrow there's gonna be some fallout when Anne/Judy/etc discovered Victor + Li Mei's dalliance, or whatever)

Ess Kay (esskay), Wednesday, 6 August 2003 09:50 (twenty-two years ago)

You know, I had no idea Li Mei was in the Tokey Tones.
I wish Shortland St was one hour everyday. It's funny how they can't give up the half hour format though; it's so obviously two episodes stuck together badly!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 6 August 2003 09:54 (twenty-two years ago)

EMERGENCY
I missed Shortland St tonight. What happened??

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 15 August 2003 07:21 (twenty-two years ago)

Li Mei dumped that guy in Myers Park, and he DISAPPEARED. She's all freaked out he'll come after her. Adam was drunk the whole episode, hassled Geoff ("someone else'll come along soon, isn't that the way w/you lot? Pity I'm not interested, eh?" etc), and had to sleep on a park bench where Sticky found him. Barb doesn't care or something, that was the climax. Tash had a stupid party while Chris was meant to be at work, he's annoyed. Dom's wedding's been put forward so it's meant to be in (I think) two weeks now. I think that's about it.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 15 August 2003 07:36 (twenty-two years ago)

I've missed Shortland Street for the last three days! My sister filled me in some though. Geez losing my records and missing Shortland St, today is sounding like a very sad day.

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Friday, 15 August 2003 10:20 (twenty-two years ago)

k-gross shot of li mei & viktor post-coitus under a purple blanket on the couch at li mei's flat yuck yuck yuck!

(haha though earlier classic shot of victor grabbing the guy & closing the hotel door to METE OUT VIGILANTE JUSTICE or whatevah)

etc, Monday, 18 August 2003 07:52 (twenty-two years ago)

Was it just me or was the background music particularly odd today? Plus I love how nobody could bring themselves to say the word "genital", so they had to just keep saying "warts" and giving meaningful looks instead!

Livvie (Livvie), Monday, 18 August 2003 08:15 (twenty-two years ago)

victor and li-mei... post-coitus.... for once i am glad i missed shortland st tonight, and now i know what calum was on about when he sent me a text all about the grossness of tonight's episode!

(but li mei likes my hat)

alex (alex), Monday, 18 August 2003 09:32 (twenty-two years ago)

shortland street has been really racey (read: FOUL) this year. has robbie left the show forever? that would soooooooo suck.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Monday, 18 August 2003 19:37 (twenty-two years ago)

SO what happened last night? For some stupid reason my video machine just taped fuzz.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 19 August 2003 22:07 (twenty-two years ago)

vistor is up shit creek, ain't it swell? dom ISN'T EVEN A WARNER AHAHAHAHAHA.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Wednesday, 20 August 2003 06:52 (twenty-two years ago)

Dom not a Warner = SO FUNNY!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 20 August 2003 08:23 (twenty-two years ago)

wait wait wait, could someone please explain why dom isn't a warner?
(the tv guide said "dom's worst dream comes true", so I'm guessing that this was it)

etc, Wednesday, 20 August 2003 09:27 (twenty-two years ago)

He's Toni's full brother! Hey I like Victor

Andrew Blood Thames (Andrew Thames), Wednesday, 20 August 2003 09:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Dom's not a Warner cause of something to do with blood types, and it being impossibe for him to be Chris Warner's son. I hope he tells Emily and they BREAK UP, grr I hate her.

Livvie (Livvie), Wednesday, 20 August 2003 23:59 (twenty-two years ago)

I pretty much predict he'll die of a brain haemmorrage or something similar soon, head injuries are always trouble on Tv, and he's been rubbing his temples a bit. There'll probably be a touching deathbed scene w/Delphi.

Andrew Blood Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 21 August 2003 00:02 (twenty-two years ago)

That sounds a little gross

Andrew Blood Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 21 August 2003 00:02 (twenty-two years ago)

impossibe for him to be Chris Warner's son
I thought that was soooo obvious.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 21 August 2003 00:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah him and Chris are pretty much the same age!

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 21 August 2003 00:07 (twenty-two years ago)

Isn't his dad also called Chris?

Livvie (Livvie), Thursday, 21 August 2003 00:10 (twenty-two years ago)

I thought it was Sir Bruce

Andrew Blood Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 21 August 2003 00:12 (twenty-two years ago)

This is true. You win the Shortland Street knowledge test, lucky you.

Livvie (Livvie), Thursday, 21 August 2003 00:19 (twenty-two years ago)

shannon is my shortland street crush this week
'

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Thursday, 21 August 2003 09:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Goddamn I forgot to set the tape recorder and missed Shortland St AGAIN. Fill me in.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 22 August 2003 07:12 (twenty-two years ago)

Victor's going to the press about the politician, Sticky's leaving, Geoff hired a new chef and looked all silly about it, Dom/Toni's mum's staying at Toni's, Tash turned up (she'd been hiding in Chris's GYM, how fucking huge is his house?) and they made up, Adam/Toni are still going to Chicago but I think Harry might be staying? Not sure. Dom's very irritable and so on, which I think is a sign of his impending brain trouble. I think that's about it...

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 22 August 2003 07:36 (twenty-two years ago)

WHAT since when did Chris have a gym?? We never see it! How many Auckland apartments contain gyms?

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 22 August 2003 07:43 (twenty-two years ago)

It's worse, we saw this outside view of his house and it was like he was living on a hillside near the shore or something! Isn't he meant to live in just a regular Ak apartment?

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 22 August 2003 07:48 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah usually they show him living in an apartment block! Trust Shortland Street to muck that up.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 22 August 2003 08:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Haha and they only ever show that one stingy little room! He probably has an indoor pool now, too

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 22 August 2003 08:03 (twenty-two years ago)

His place never looked that flash to me..

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 22 August 2003 09:22 (twenty-two years ago)

It's probably a communial gym, my friend has one in her block of apartments. Another of my friends has her own gym AND indoor pool though, she's pretty rich.

Livvie (Livvie), Friday, 22 August 2003 09:49 (twenty-two years ago)

i hope sticky doesn't really leave. him and robbie were my two favourite new characters.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Friday, 22 August 2003 10:10 (twenty-two years ago)

Well he has a "proper" acting career on stage and shit, so he was prob never going to be a regular. I kinda like him too, but I liked him more when he was after any woman who looked at him twice, in his nerdy ROMANTIC way

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 22 August 2003 10:30 (twenty-two years ago)

I wonder who the new chef will be? A love interest for Geoff, probably.

Livvie (Livvie), Friday, 22 August 2003 10:45 (twenty-two years ago)

"First the bad news; he's SCOTTISH". Racist FUCKS!

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 22 August 2003 11:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Tash was directing some REAL racism at Chris the other day! Poor Chris, I was hoping Tash had been run over or something.

Livvie (Livvie), Friday, 22 August 2003 11:15 (twenty-two years ago)

HAHAHAHA "You white loser!"

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 22 August 2003 11:26 (twenty-two years ago)

thatwas hella funny, go tash. yeah geoff needs a boyufriend./

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Saturday, 23 August 2003 03:24 (twenty-two years ago)

He has plenty already, isn't that his thing?

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Sunday, 24 August 2003 07:22 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah probably. ooooh hour long shortland street tonight, can't wait!!!

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Sunday, 24 August 2003 20:55 (twenty-two years ago)

emily called ngaire a "state-house slag from tauranga". that was quite a classic moment.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Monday, 25 August 2003 07:13 (twenty-two years ago)

I am sooo sick of seeing Dom's face

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Monday, 25 August 2003 08:14 (twenty-two years ago)

He looked horrible tonight, esp when he came to talk to Delphi. MAN I can't wait till he gets rid of this Emily bitch, I hate her! We predicted the Delphi/Scottish chef guy thing as soon as he arrived, but they almost beat us by having them get FRIENDLY before the episode even ended! Also their reliance on halfhour plot structure continues.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 25 August 2003 12:09 (twenty-two years ago)

My, aren't I excited

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 25 August 2003 14:09 (twenty-two years ago)

I am too!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 26 August 2003 00:51 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm feeling left out... can I be excited three?

The Man they call Dan (The Man they call Dan), Tuesday, 26 August 2003 02:59 (twenty-two years ago)

I was excited today, but seeing as Shortland Street has finished I've tranferred my attention to SIX FEET UNDER, the final is on tonight!

Livvie (Livvie), Tuesday, 26 August 2003 07:03 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh fuck. Elisabeth, did you tape it?

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 26 August 2003 09:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Of course!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 26 August 2003 10:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Yippee!

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 26 August 2003 10:45 (twenty-two years ago)

sticky and barb are back together, yay. he made out with her and she had wrinkle cream all over her face.

six feet under was quite cute, with the wedding and keith telling david how he felt awww. david is my favourite character. i am glad nate got the shit kicked out of him, GOD he is such a dick.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Tuesday, 26 August 2003 19:38 (twenty-two years ago)

Missed Shortland St again tonight, I doubt anything big happened but please fill me in!
I thought the Six Feet Under finale was REALLY good. I liked Claire a whole lot more in that episode.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 27 August 2003 11:30 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm going to be terribly impatient waiting for the next season of six feet under now.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 27 August 2003 11:31 (twenty-two years ago)

I thought the final was fantastic. Believe it or not I found Nate trying to get himself beaten to a pulp out of guilt/selfhate/sorrow at Lisa's death rather moving, why don't you like him again?

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Wednesday, 27 August 2003 12:03 (twenty-two years ago)

I thought it was too, although I'm probably easily moved. I usually like Claire, although Ruth annoys me and I liked her better in the last episode. Also awww David and Keith, did you see them dancing?

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Wednesday, 27 August 2003 22:23 (twenty-two years ago)

i hate nate cos hes an asshole. brenda what are you doing? at least her next door neighbour doesn't look like steve malkmus!!!! but noooooo she had to invite creepy old nate into her house. and oh my god the way he thinks he doesn't have to be mya's mother just cos he's a guy, whatever. i always like clare, what don't you people like about her? (no SHE'S SO EMO! answers please.)

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Thursday, 28 August 2003 05:15 (twenty-two years ago)

i missed shortland street tonight, what happened?

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Thursday, 28 August 2003 06:48 (twenty-two years ago)

Victor's being investigated for fraud, Tama's sick of being manipulated by him into free cars and highpaying jobs and FAIR ENOUGH, Dom's mum knows Emily's after his money but she's accepting MONEY to shut up about it, the media think Victor and Donna are an ITEM and Chris is jealous. Tash is dead.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 28 August 2003 07:51 (twenty-two years ago)

Nelson's back and he's all serious and straightedge. He's not telling anyone what he got up to, but he's come back w/a new highpriced lawyer and speaking fluent Maori.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 28 August 2003 07:55 (twenty-two years ago)

tash is dead? what the fuck?

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Thursday, 28 August 2003 07:56 (twenty-two years ago)

Nah I made that up

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 28 August 2003 08:02 (twenty-two years ago)

i'm bored, come on AIM.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Thursday, 28 August 2003 08:29 (twenty-two years ago)

what happened last night? i missed it.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Friday, 5 September 2003 01:34 (twenty-two years ago)

Victor's taking money from Kurt, whose organisation is massively rich through somehow owning a ridiculous amount of investment properties. Chris is stage manager of Tash's play, she's taken over the role of Juliet. That Scottish fuck is going out w/both Delphi AND Toni "tonight", Toni's being a bit of a PARTY GIRL again. Barb pretty much yelled at her that she should get over his being younger and DO HIM. That new nurse left, yes her boyf was fucking GEOFF, that handsome devil. Geoff did some really typical acting, he seemed insanely furious w/the guy then said happily "nah, stay and finish yr drink!". Prob other stuff, I don't remember. OH SHIT YEAH! Ngaire told Dom about Emily's plan, he didn't believe her, but Emily confirmed it and now he knows he's trapped in a loveless marriage! Aww!

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 5 September 2003 02:25 (twenty-two years ago)

So what happened tonight! I left work early and still managed to miss half of it thanks to the Link bus.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 5 September 2003 06:41 (twenty-two years ago)

well, victor turned down kurt's money and is giving up politics, but we don't know yet if gabriel is letting him off the hook. toni didn't seem to dig her playstation date with samuel. donna and chris had a fight and now chris is kissing tash's teacher. whyyyyyy??!

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Friday, 5 September 2003 06:51 (twenty-two years ago)

I missed it tonight again! Anyway Shortland Street hasn't been that eventful at the moment. Though according to the Listener on Friday Geoff gets some "amourous attention".

Livvie (Livvie), Wednesday, 17 September 2003 11:56 (twenty-two years ago)

i have been at soundcheck so i am missing shortland street. what is happening/happened?

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Friday, 19 September 2003 06:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Nelson's been severely beaten by some of Kurt's goons. Anne is being a fucking dope again. Waverly's made an appointment for an abortion and is very worried/sad about it, Nick's being an impassive goof. Tash and Sharon are selling shirts w/gloomy messages. Anne's really been a dick in ALL of these situations, told the cops the truth/got Nelson beaten up, hassled Waverly about the termination, told Sharon/Tash that "no right person would want these shirts" or something, I'm sick of her.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 19 September 2003 09:20 (twenty-two years ago)

God, Anne was particularly self righteous this episode wasn't she!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 19 September 2003 09:31 (twenty-two years ago)

She is SO ANNOYING, especially about Waverly's abortion. I felt really sad about Nelson, in a totally unironic way! And my theory about Geoff/comatose guy didn't work out, though I so thought it would when he went on about how much he loved sailing.

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Friday, 19 September 2003 10:05 (twenty-two years ago)

cheers. i'm bummed about nelson too. i've always hated anne, not least cos i hate emmeline hawthorne. oh yeah the abortion, last night i was all WOW! abortion on shortland street! this is dumb, but i'm glad they're tackling that. i hope waverly doesn't get one though, she obv wants the baby and nick is just being a dick.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Friday, 19 September 2003 10:21 (twenty-two years ago)

Nick doesn't care. Nick is an ACCOUNTANT.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 19 September 2003 11:23 (twenty-two years ago)

Victor isn't the badass I thought he might be, I was hoping he was going to KILL Kurt!

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 26 September 2003 10:48 (twenty-two years ago)

Also Dom is going evil, good. SHST needs more evil, esp as it's menat to be a soap opera

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 26 September 2003 13:02 (twenty-two years ago)

I wish there'd be another insane character like Carla, she was great.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 26 September 2003 21:23 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah more hott crazy redheads would be good. and more lesbians like laura. do you remember how they first signified that laura was a dyke? she made a comment about a painting waverley had just bought which was either a georgia o'keeffe or a fake georgia o'keeffe. funny ass shit.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Saturday, 27 September 2003 00:44 (twenty-two years ago)

I haven't seen yesterdays episode yet, I hope there isn't too much about Sticky and his dog though. I agree that Sh St needs more TRUE evil, rather than just annoying bitchyness like Emily.

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Saturday, 27 September 2003 00:48 (twenty-two years ago)

I missed THREE episodes in a row, what's happening?

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Wednesday, 1 October 2003 22:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Dom has been all evil, he called immigration on Samuel - at the same time they were getting reviewed by some important newspaper guy! Tash got left a love note in her pocket by some lil geek, but she thought it was from Tama. He was being all jokey flirty with her - which was a little stupid because he's what 2 years older than her! Practically the same age! Anyway at her birthday party she was all "I got yr note and I feel the same way, I LOVE YOU TAMA". As you can guess she was real shamed.
Nick and Waverly aren't talking much and it's stupid because they both want to keep the baby.
I dunno if you saw that Sticky's dog died. Oh and Judy was trying to avoid Anne because she needed time alone and Anne got all upset! Hahahah!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 2 October 2003 00:09 (twenty-two years ago)

whats with dom being insanely evil all of a sudden?

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Thursday, 2 October 2003 02:40 (twenty-two years ago)

i'll be missing tonight's episode, can someone keep me up to date?

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Thursday, 2 October 2003 02:41 (twenty-two years ago)

They needed an evil character and when an awful actor plays an evil characters it's laughs all around! He discovered Emily would loose her trust fund if they divorced without being married for 2 years so now he can be as nasty as he likes and if she leaves she'll loose her money, boohoo. Why do Tv rich people always have these stupid rules about their money?

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 2 October 2003 04:02 (twenty-two years ago)

My god! Just as Nick and Waverly realise they both want the baby she appears to be having a miscarriage.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 2 October 2003 06:36 (twenty-two years ago)

I missed it again because mum TAPED OVER IT with McLeod's Daughters!! GRRRRR.

Livvie (Livvie), Thursday, 2 October 2003 09:03 (twenty-two years ago)

Geez and could she have taped over it with anything worse?!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 2 October 2003 09:32 (twenty-two years ago)

"Hero Dishes", but that's so stupid it's kind of insane/funny, not that she'd be into it for those reasons

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 2 October 2003 09:47 (twenty-two years ago)

What else happened, Samuel the annoying Scots git is about to be deported thanks to Dom, Victor's trying to get it on w/Li Mei again and she's not keen, the pay system got fucked up and everyone's complaining to Nick.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 2 October 2003 09:52 (twenty-two years ago)

so is this show any good, then?

Justyn Dillingham (Justyn Dillingham), Thursday, 2 October 2003 15:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Fuck YEAH! Good luck finding it on US tv though. I think this is one thing I'd really miss about NZ if I was forced to leave or something.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 2 October 2003 22:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Also Li Mei spent all the money she got overpaid and she just realised that she'll probably have to pay it out of her next weeks pay. DUH. You need to hold on til next payday, then if no one says anything you spend it.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 2 October 2003 22:23 (twenty-two years ago)

i don't consider someone a real new zealander unless they like/watch shortland street. this includes my parents, who think coro st is better!! mum, dad: go back to england if you love it so much!!

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Thursday, 2 October 2003 23:37 (twenty-two years ago)

does anyone else think toni is really funny? two examples of her wit tonight
1) calling vic "the Big KahuNa"
2) telling logan she'd rather do cross-stitching and groom her toes than go on a date with him. lovely.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Tuesday, 7 October 2003 06:40 (twenty-two years ago)

Delphi was on it tonight, she didn't have her grapes w/her though. There's a new billboard/back of bus campaign for the show; in one of the pictures Chris has his arm chummily around Dom, who is glaring evilly at the camera. That's it for Dom, then.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 7 October 2003 09:49 (twenty-two years ago)

We should take pictures of Shortland St billboards, they've all been so good. Remember the rude ones?? They were RUDE!
Nurse, suction please."

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 7 October 2003 09:56 (twenty-two years ago)

That was incredible. Also that one where the caption was "Look at Rachel's tits!" or something, that was good

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 7 October 2003 10:02 (twenty-two years ago)

The Tama one was boring, it just said "hey bro" not like "doesn't shoot blanks" or something.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 7 October 2003 10:48 (twenty-two years ago)

hahahahaha

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Tuesday, 7 October 2003 19:52 (twenty-two years ago)

I saw one with Anne and Delphi on a bus today, it said "Sisters are doing it for themselves". Which isn't that interesting but did remind me that they are sisters, I'd forgotten.

Livvie (Livvie), Wednesday, 8 October 2003 05:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Also I'm quite excited about tonight's episode, on the ad Dom appeared to be developing a facial twitch.

Livvie (Livvie), Wednesday, 8 October 2003 05:32 (twenty-two years ago)

oh it was so good tonight. go delphi!

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Wednesday, 8 October 2003 06:02 (twenty-two years ago)

The facial twitch thing is meant to be Dom's attempt at quick supervillian evil grins, I think.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 8 October 2003 08:35 (twenty-two years ago)

emily's father is a thunderbirds character!

also the general evil-ness of broadcasting the li mei-anne spat over the hospital intercom was a bit excessive - wouldn't they be able to hear the speakers in reception?

etc, Wednesday, 8 October 2003 08:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Haha she called her "Lay me" - I so can't imagine ANNE thinking that up.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 8 October 2003 09:12 (twenty-two years ago)

It was fucking brilliant, though! S. they were too overcome by white-hot rage to notice, I'm sure.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Wednesday, 8 October 2003 11:06 (twenty-two years ago)

That bit was hilarious! As was Dom's facial twitch. Emily should just leave him, I can't believe she wants the money THAT MUCH.

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Thursday, 9 October 2003 02:36 (twenty-two years ago)

Couldn't she find a wussier husband?

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 9 October 2003 02:56 (twenty-two years ago)

missed it tonight - what happened?
(also repressed from yesterday - marshall walking in on sticky having phone sex w/barb!)

etc, Thursday, 9 October 2003 05:42 (twenty-two years ago)

well logan left anne at the mdeical awards function, and went to toni's place. they got drunk and shagged. how disappointing. dom has truly lost it and yelled at everyone and threatened samuel. geoff met a cute doctor at the medical awards

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Thursday, 9 October 2003 07:37 (twenty-two years ago)

And since Anne's living with Toni now she got to see Logan in the morning. I guess Toni had forgotten that, I sure had. When Anne turned up in the kitchen I thought it was a dream scene.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 9 October 2003 08:47 (twenty-two years ago)

I can't believe I missed it AGAIN.

Livvie (Livvie), Thursday, 9 October 2003 09:17 (twenty-two years ago)

dom called geoff a fag!

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Thursday, 9 October 2003 09:54 (twenty-two years ago)

A "disgusting faggot" even! What place alienating Geoff has in his scheme I can't see. Actually, maybe it's Dom that's mentally unstable? He's become a complete monster all of a sudden

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 10 October 2003 05:10 (twenty-two years ago)

yes i would say he has. i feel sorry for sticky, i wish marshall wouldn't be so mean to him.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Friday, 10 October 2003 05:48 (twenty-two years ago)

Elisabeth brought up a good point the other night, how'd he get into Japan w/his drugs (making AND supplying) convictions? Haha.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 10 October 2003 05:59 (twenty-two years ago)

I feel a bit sorry for Sticky too. I'm pretty sure Dom is the mentally unstable one, they seem to be setting it up that way. It's pretty interesting how Donna didn't seem to surprised by Victor telling her that he had committed fraud, borrowed money from a violent gang member or that he was planning to kill said gang member, but as soon as she catches him fucking Li Mei she "doesn't know him anymore."

Livvie (Livvie), Friday, 10 October 2003 06:03 (twenty-two years ago)

Has anyone seen any more of the horrible new Shortland Street billboards? There's one around the corner from my work which has Tama and Shannon with their arms around each other, the caption is "will you still love me tomorrow?" The other one I've seen has Delphi and Anne and says "sisters are doin it for themselves". That one struck me as particularly stupid because Delphi and Anne are barely ever seen together! Delphi doesn't even like Anne!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Sunday, 12 October 2003 00:14 (twenty-two years ago)

I've seen the Delphi/Anne one, I said something about it upthread.

Livvie (Livvie), Sunday, 12 October 2003 01:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Also, who DOES like Anne?

Livvie (Livvie), Sunday, 12 October 2003 01:25 (twenty-two years ago)

not even her mum!

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Sunday, 12 October 2003 01:30 (twenty-two years ago)

I certainly don't like her much. And neither does Logan, judging by the his giving her the incredibly witty nickname of "Pollynana".

Livvie (Livvie), Sunday, 12 October 2003 01:32 (twenty-two years ago)

Di, I wish you didn't have to work so you could come on aim and keep me company.

Livvie (Livvie), Sunday, 12 October 2003 01:34 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh sorry I missed that, this thread takes SO LONG to load for me. I love how they're all black and white and serious.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Sunday, 12 October 2003 01:37 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes, how INTENSE Shortland Street is. They seem to be having one of their 'joke' storylines at the moment though with the whole nude Sticky thing.

Livvie (Livvie), Sunday, 12 October 2003 01:43 (twenty-two years ago)

i am on AIM now! the schoolwork isn't going so bad, its largely a cut-n-paste job :-).

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Sunday, 12 October 2003 03:48 (twenty-two years ago)

That billboard makes Anne look like Delphi's mum. Hella mumsy.

Damian (Damian), Sunday, 12 October 2003 09:27 (twenty-two years ago)

"Hella mumsy" is a cool phrase

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Sunday, 12 October 2003 09:29 (twenty-two years ago)

Isn't it though? Waverley was doing a first-year Italian paper when I started university. I was doing Italian that year too, but we weren't in the same class. I have a crush on Waverley that asserts itself from time to time.

Damian (Damian), Sunday, 12 October 2003 09:35 (twenty-two years ago)

Like just then! By gum.

Damian (Damian), Sunday, 12 October 2003 09:36 (twenty-two years ago)

Become a DJ! Isn't she still w/Havoc?

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Sunday, 12 October 2003 09:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah, precisely! They do seem like an odd couple though, him being such a boisterous chap.

Damian (Damian), Sunday, 12 October 2003 12:12 (twenty-two years ago)

Well don't get all BOISTEROUS for her sake, that might get tiresome

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Sunday, 12 October 2003 21:02 (twenty-two years ago)

I saw the evil Dom bus ad today, it was really stupid. I like how happy Chris looks though!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Monday, 13 October 2003 22:04 (twenty-two years ago)

That thing with Nelson sure was an anticlimax. One little check up then he's off to the pub to drink with Marshall.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 15 October 2003 13:05 (twenty-two years ago)

He woke up w/an ANGEL, ie. some woman we're endlessly assured is very goodlooking by various characters telling us so. So, is Victor at all genuine in his repeated quest for Anne's hand? Could he not do better?

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Wednesday, 15 October 2003 13:15 (twenty-two years ago)

It's so annoying how last week Anne wouldn't shut up about how she missed the married life - her and Victor fought SO much, she wasn't really that happy.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 15 October 2003 20:43 (twenty-two years ago)

And then she fucked his son to celebrate

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 16 October 2003 00:58 (twenty-two years ago)

so whats the bet that dom is gonna cause some major clinic catastrophe in the annual finale, which involves at least one character dying.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Friday, 17 October 2003 08:34 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah that sounds right, and now he's a villain he'll probably die too. Poor little characters!

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Sunday, 19 October 2003 08:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Did someone die last year? I can't remember when a character other than a baby died. Shortland St hates babies, they killed off two that I can remember.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Sunday, 19 October 2003 08:50 (twenty-two years ago)

i think dom will kill geoff. gay characters never last more than 6 months.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Tuesday, 21 October 2003 21:29 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh and what happened last night? Why does Barb suddenly dislike Judy? What happened with Dom and Emily?

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 22 October 2003 09:29 (twenty-two years ago)

Barb has decided Judy is carrying out an evil scheme to steal all her friends, starting with Babs and now Babs' cousin, Andy, who has just been in jail for cannibus possession and is now madly in love with Judy. Nothing much happened with Emily and Dom that I can remember.

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Thursday, 23 October 2003 00:09 (twenty-two years ago)

So what was it that he put in her food?

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 23 October 2003 03:37 (twenty-two years ago)

yay! geoff is getting laid!

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Thursday, 23 October 2003 05:59 (twenty-two years ago)

I hope Dom does die, he's just creeping me out now.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 23 October 2003 13:01 (twenty-two years ago)

What did everyone think of drunk Tama? I hope Marshall and Delphi don't get together.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 23 October 2003 21:51 (twenty-two years ago)

hahaha he was really whatever. hey geoff is in a dilly of a pickle :-( i hope he doesn't die.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Saturday, 25 October 2003 08:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Nah he needs to be around to kill that girl with cancer.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Sunday, 26 October 2003 06:43 (twenty-two years ago)

too late, he got fired

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Saturday, 1 November 2003 20:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Maybe he'll kill... HIMSELF!

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Sunday, 2 November 2003 10:30 (twenty-two years ago)

WOAH!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Sunday, 2 November 2003 10:52 (twenty-two years ago)

So what happened on Friday, I missed it again.

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Sunday, 2 November 2003 19:29 (twenty-two years ago)

They all died

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 3 November 2003 02:59 (twenty-two years ago)

And then Geoff got fired

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 3 November 2003 03:01 (twenty-two years ago)

i would be so sad if geoff killed himself

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Monday, 3 November 2003 03:20 (twenty-two years ago)

It'd be a clever way around that ad, man

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 3 November 2003 03:25 (twenty-two years ago)

what ad? sorry i have been in the library i see no tlelvsiion

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Monday, 3 November 2003 03:39 (twenty-two years ago)

"One of these people will kill, one of these people will die" and it has Geoff, Dom, Victor, Emily, and a couple of other people, I think.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 3 November 2003 03:45 (twenty-two years ago)

god i so can't miss it tonight.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Monday, 3 November 2003 03:46 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm worried Geoff'll kill Victor. Anyway, he's quickly become as likely a suspect in the yet-to-be-committed but inevitable murder as the apparently psychotic Dom; a piece of "character development" so brazenly expedient as to shock, or at least surprise (and disappoint, perhaps), even the most dedicated fan of the show. The irony of the character known for so long for his controversial (but surely essentially merciful) position in favour of euthanasia is, I hope, lost on no-one here.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 4 November 2003 14:42 (twenty-two years ago)

My bet's on some tragedy resulting from Nick getting behind the wheel whilst giddy with undercooked trout and machismo.

Minty (Minty), Wednesday, 5 November 2003 03:29 (twenty-two years ago)

No, now it looks like Victor's going to kill Geoff. Nick the Dick makes a comeback, kickass

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Wednesday, 5 November 2003 11:52 (twenty-two years ago)

"I should drive, I'm the guy!"- that sort of AMAZED me, really. Esp as it's meant to be set in AUCKLAND, land of equality

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Wednesday, 5 November 2003 14:02 (twenty-two years ago)

i'm glad they really are focussing on nick's sexism, finally. it was bugging the shit out of me that waverley is raising his son and thats portrayed as something perfectly natural for a female to do - despite the fact that he ISN'T HER KID.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Wednesday, 5 November 2003 21:25 (twenty-two years ago)

okay waverley is still raising nick's kid. grrr.

poor geoff. another gay character bites the dust.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Sunday, 9 November 2003 07:21 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah but that's Waverly, she loves kids, of course she'd want to be important in her husbands's son's life. I guess since they're making Nick more over the top sexist now it'll probably be some sort of storyline.
Who do IRE think killed Geoff Greenlaw? I bet it was Waverly!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Sunday, 9 November 2003 10:05 (twenty-two years ago)

its hard to choose between dom and jeremy. dom's mad enough to murder, he poisoned emily. and jeremy has no conscience about the suffering of cancer victims, so hes perhaps callous enough too. it can't have been victor, because they showed the killer's white hand, and anyway, victor may be power-hungry but i don't think he is capable of murder.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Monday, 10 November 2003 00:16 (twenty-two years ago)

I thought the killer was wearing a glove? I don't think it's Victor, even Shortland Street can't stretch a character THAT far, plus they already had the 'will Victor kill?' plotline once this year w/ the whole gang thing. I'm voting for Dom cause they've gotta get rid of that storyline somehow, they can't just have him hanging round evilly forever. It's so dumb how they're trying to make it look like it MIGHT be Nick on the ads, he doesn't even have a halfway decent motive! "Geoff made me come back from holiday early, maybe I'll KILL him."

Livvie (Livvie), Monday, 10 November 2003 00:38 (twenty-two years ago)

Maybe he's trying to look butch?

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 10 November 2003 01:01 (twenty-two years ago)

he needs to dress more like hello kitty then.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Monday, 10 November 2003 01:05 (twenty-two years ago)

It was clearly Delphi, that whole shocked thing she did when she saw the body was so fake. I bet she did it cos Geoff got drunk and told her "You know, you look just like that fishgirl from Like a Velvet Glove Cast in Iron!" and she couldn't handle the horrible truth.

Minty (Minty), Monday, 10 November 2003 01:11 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah it was a glove, I went back and paused it because I too went "that hand was white! It's not Victor thank god". Anyway I really don't think it'll be Victor, when he's evil it's only in a businesslike manner and I really don't think he'd kill his wife's brother! And yeah it'll probably be Dom because Shortland St's usually pretty obvious and they like to punish their evil characters.
I dreamt about Shortland St last night and it was mostly Geoff dying over and over again, then I dreamt up a huge funeral with nearly everyone I could remember from Shortland St attending.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Monday, 10 November 2003 02:06 (twenty-two years ago)

That finding the body scene was really pretty horrible/gripping.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 10 November 2003 02:43 (twenty-two years ago)

It was, especially because it took them so long and we got to see Geoff wake up momentarily. I thought Tama acted really well in that scene and so did Delphi. I'm looking forward to tonight's episode!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Monday, 10 November 2003 03:50 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah andrew OTM, geoff all frozen and dead was so damn sad.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Monday, 10 November 2003 05:40 (twenty-two years ago)

arrrrgh delphi is being so dumm! lying to the pigs for dom, NOOOOOOO!

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Tuesday, 11 November 2003 00:12 (twenty-two years ago)

This is my theory - Delphi will find some evidence that Dom's been too stupid to destroy. If she doesn't come forward the wrong person (probably Victor) will be convicted. There will be a lot of troubled looks.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 11 November 2003 04:18 (twenty-two years ago)

In closeup, they love that when things are tense.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 11 November 2003 04:34 (twenty-two years ago)

Also wasn't Waverly being offensively stupid last night? Or whenever it was she blurted out the "truth" to the police?

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 11 November 2003 11:52 (twenty-two years ago)

having no tv is starting to mildly suck. keep me informed!

etc, Tuesday, 11 November 2003 12:39 (twenty-two years ago)

God Waverly is being so annoying, maybe she did do it.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 11 November 2003 23:07 (twenty-two years ago)

I just read this whole thead, it was actually really fun.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Wednesday, 12 November 2003 13:02 (twenty-two years ago)

I've done that before, with the record store thread as well.

Livvie (Livvie), Wednesday, 12 November 2003 19:24 (twenty-two years ago)

geoffs funeral was really sad. anne is such a bitch

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Thursday, 13 November 2003 08:24 (twenty-two years ago)

That's exactly what my Mum thought. She reckoned Delphi was great and almost had her in tears herself.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 13 November 2003 09:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Two people have found this board searching for "who killed Geoff Greenlaw", I wish they'd posted!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Monday, 17 November 2003 01:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Hey Googlers it was Waverley!

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Monday, 17 November 2003 02:00 (twenty-two years ago)

the return of EMILWEEEEEEEE

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Monday, 17 November 2003 07:07 (twenty-two years ago)

nah it was sexy rexy!!! (PS. i found this page from google too). Or it could'v been emily

Fuitcrake, Tuesday, 18 November 2003 01:05 (twenty-two years ago)

He seems to have given up on Anne a bit. I read that in real life he's her father.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 05:37 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah he is, and old boss Julia's (that was her name, wasn't it?) husband, which you probably knew.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 05:50 (twenty-two years ago)

toni is so strange looking that i have decided i find her really sexy, the icing on the cake is that shes state house trash from tauranga!

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 08:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Emily really REALLY needs to stop getting hysterical when she makes accusations! She started out ok but then started yelling "he's evil!" it really doesn't work. She should've told Chris about the blood test, and Chris will remember. If I remember rightly it was nearly given away earlier anyway. Geez.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 09:31 (twenty-two years ago)

"State house trash" is pretty funny, did someone really call her that?
Except of course we're in NZ so it should probably be "state house rubbish" or "state house garbage".

Minty (Minty), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 10:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah, I def. agree about Emily. Still, I'm glad she's back to bring some drama to Sh St, the show that usually favours Nick Harrison-style inanimate acting.

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 20:30 (twenty-two years ago)

i can't remember who called toni that, the exact wording was "state house slapper". perhaps it was li mei?

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 20:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Was it Emily? I think Emily called Toni's mum that.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 18 November 2003 22:28 (twenty-two years ago)

oh right

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 01:08 (twenty-two years ago)

This chess storyline may be one of the silliest ones yet. And doesn't that annoying 'hot' nurse look stupid when she runs?

Livvie (Livvie), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 10:56 (twenty-two years ago)

Hot nurses running? Damn I picked the wrong night to miss Shorty!

Minty (Minty), Wednesday, 19 November 2003 11:47 (twenty-two years ago)

My sister forgot to tape it (tho she DID manage to start the tape right as the programme after it began, thanks Sophie), what happened?

Livvie (Livvie), Thursday, 20 November 2003 09:51 (twenty-two years ago)

I initially misread Minty's last comment as picking the wrong night to miss Sooty.

Schwingung (Damian), Thursday, 20 November 2003 11:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Ok tonight Emily got Toni on her side, the chess guy did something w/Jessie (if that's her name), maybe offered her a game? The most impt thing (aside from Toni working out Dom couldn't be Chris's brother) was Rex and Anne had a BIG HUG and Anne felt a REAL DEEP CONNECTION w/him, but didn't make out etc which may be for the best (or worst, it'd be funnier) as I suspect he may be her Father and there was some nastiness w/Judy in the past. Yes.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 20 November 2003 13:46 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah jane reckons rex is anne's father too. jane also pointed out to me how RIDICULOUS it was that toni asked logan about blood types. SHES A FUCKING NURSE! don't the writers know how much biology nurses have to learn?

don't anyone miss it tonight. emily/dom showdown!!!!!

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Thursday, 20 November 2003 20:29 (twenty-two years ago)

I've suspected the Anne/Rex thing for about a week, I can't believe I forgot to mention it on this thread!

Livvie Tapper (Livvie), Thursday, 20 November 2003 22:38 (twenty-two years ago)

I've suspected that Anne is the T-Rex that bit my leg off in my sleep the other night, and swallowed it whole like a fucking marshmallow.

The Man they call Dan (The Man they call Dan), Friday, 21 November 2003 01:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Shock finale spoilers there

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 21 November 2003 02:00 (twenty-two years ago)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 21 November 2003 07:13 (twenty-two years ago)

man they are dragging this dom/emily thing out like its a daytime soap. i'm losing interest.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Friday, 21 November 2003 07:20 (twenty-two years ago)

Well Emily DID pull the car off the side of the road and Dom's maybe been impaled on a tree, it may not drag on too much longer. Judging by the next week shots it quite possibly will, tho. My sister Amy has theorised maybe this second knock on the head will sort Dom out, remember how he used to be adamant that Chris should know he wasn't really his brother? Can't remember how Ngaire persuaded him not to tell. On the other hand they've rewritten his character pretty throughly, so Amy may be well off.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 21 November 2003 10:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh shit I forgot he fucked up his head! Remember you used to think he was gonna die cos he kept touching his head?

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 21 November 2003 10:55 (twenty-two years ago)

I really feel a bit sorry for the way his character's been fucked around, or maybe sorry for US for being supposed to take it SERIOUSLY, tho hooray we don't. Yeah, something like that should happen, I think!

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 21 November 2003 10:57 (twenty-two years ago)

Some return to the "headinjury" storyline, I mean

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 21 November 2003 12:07 (twenty-two years ago)

Emily reminds me of Rik from The Young Ones when she's being hysterical.

Minty (Minty), Friday, 21 November 2003 12:15 (twenty-two years ago)

oh nos dom will need blood & they'll give him the wrong type now! i hope he doesn't die tho, shortland st doesnt have any other good evil characters does it?

c4lum, Friday, 21 November 2003 21:39 (twenty-two years ago)

I was just gonna post that too! Is that on the ads, or is that yr theory??

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 21 November 2003 22:53 (twenty-two years ago)

That's a good theory!

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 21 November 2003 23:13 (twenty-two years ago)

"Nookie at lunchtime"? Eeeeeew!

Minty (Minty), Monday, 24 November 2003 06:03 (twenty-two years ago)

FINALLY dom gets caught out. how much longer could they drag that one out anyway?

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Monday, 24 November 2003 07:58 (twenty-two years ago)

this thread reads real weird when you don't know much about S. Street...I watched it tonight for the first time in ages. I would like to know if that Crawlspace sticker is still on the locker in the staffroom. The glockenspieler(from the T*k** T****) was wearing bright green tights on it today.

cuspidorian (cuspidorian), Monday, 24 November 2003 11:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah the Crawlspace sticker is still there, but it's starting to get covered up by other stickers a bit. I'm worried.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Monday, 24 November 2003 22:33 (twenty-two years ago)

Li Mei passed her exam and yes Rex is Anne's Dad but oh no they're about to make out, possibly.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 28 November 2003 06:32 (twenty-two years ago)

And Dom's being insane and resentful, aiming it at Harry. Delphi isn't impressed.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 28 November 2003 06:33 (twenty-two years ago)

I missed the very end! What happened?

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 28 November 2003 08:29 (twenty-two years ago)

Judy realised who Rex was and told Victor, who said Anne/Rex were having a night alone, not the cocktail party Anne'd thought she was going to. So Rex/Anne are alone, candles, drinks, Rex is pretty much about to put the moves on Anne (who's blathering about "DEEP CONNECTIONS" and similar stuff), while Victor/Judy race to their rescue.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 28 November 2003 08:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Ok I saw up to then, so I must've just missed like 30 seconds of it or something. What did it say was gonna happen next week?

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 28 November 2003 08:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Don't remember, I'm not sure they said anything about anything specific apart from the R/A thing. "Three weeks to go" was their main point, and "their world is going to be turned upside down". Maybe Dom'll blow the clinic up, that hasn't happened for ages!

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 28 November 2003 09:01 (twenty-two years ago)

He should drive a truck into it, man that was cool the first time around!! I hope Delphi warns Toni about Dom, poor wee baby etc.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 28 November 2003 09:03 (twenty-two years ago)

They better not kill off another baby, babies hardly ever last a year on Shortland St. What a cheap way to affect the audience's emotions, killing off a baby.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 28 November 2003 09:05 (twenty-two years ago)

Hopefully the baby'll beat the crap out of him and that'll send him over the edge. Pretty shameful, man.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 28 November 2003 09:06 (twenty-two years ago)

this show sounds crazy!!

J.D. (Justyn Dillingham), Friday, 28 November 2003 09:07 (twenty-two years ago)

He could jab him in the eye with a toy or something. Oh the shame.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 28 November 2003 10:06 (twenty-two years ago)

what about the ghost story?
Hey this thread started with the quote "You're Dead to me" and I saw Chris Warner say that on a recent episode! Do they always use that line? It must be hard not to.

cuspidorian (cuspidorian), Friday, 28 November 2003 21:39 (twenty-two years ago)

How did poor old Judy get back from Rex's anyway?? I can't stand Anne. I wish she'd kissed Rex, that'd have been so funny!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Monday, 1 December 2003 08:22 (twenty-two years ago)

elisabeth you are a sicko.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Monday, 1 December 2003 09:02 (twenty-two years ago)

delphi is sooooo dumb

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Monday, 1 December 2003 09:54 (twenty-two years ago)

If Anne had kissed Rex, she would've been wiping grease off her lips for weeks.

Minty (Minty), Monday, 1 December 2003 10:54 (twenty-two years ago)

hahaha OH NO! tash smashed chris' autographed chills CD!! how will he ever be able to replace THAT???!!!

he might be able to take solace in his copy of Brave Words ON VINYL!!!! which he excitedly got from a record fair in an episode quite a while ago. the capital letters and excessive exclamation marks are all quoted from chris' tone of voice upon announcing this great news. he even waved it around. it was indeed the chills on vinyl. please, share more chris-music-stories here

alex (alex), Tuesday, 9 December 2003 10:36 (twenty-two years ago)

Many years ago some old friend from Chris' Otago Uni days showed up and danced down a corridoor singing "Verlaine, Verlaine, Verlaine" etc.

Minty (Minty), Tuesday, 9 December 2003 10:54 (twenty-two years ago)

they both did, I mean

Minty (Minty), Tuesday, 9 December 2003 10:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Gee I have loads of Chills on vinyl, I didn't know how lucky I was

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Wednesday, 10 December 2003 11:40 (twenty-two years ago)

Fuck, I've got a signed "Soft Bomb" tape somewhere too, from when I was 13 or 24 or something. My only example of this Chris Warner fun is crappy and poorly remembered, he was going out w/whatshername (the one who was in Topless Women and The Price of Milk, Danielle Cormack I think) in I think the first year of Sh St and she found a Morrissey Cd in his collection (I think it was "Viva Hate" actually) and she said something like "My aren't you gloomy" and I THINK he said "Oh we were all teenagers once" or something smart like that.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Wednesday, 10 December 2003 11:44 (twenty-two years ago)

I missed it today AND yesterday. What happened, please?

Livvie (Livvie), Friday, 12 December 2003 11:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh I dunno about today really, except Anne discovered Delphi and Marshall were investigating Geoff's death and Victor was on their list, and Logan's wife confronted Toni at I guess Logan and Mrs Logan's house and said "no way he's still married and wants to stay that way", etc. Yesterday, I don't really remember. Waverly did a stupid radio commercial. Barb was worried Sticky was (still?) into Toni. Dom prob sneaked around looking sinister. Oh yeah, at some point Tash accused Chris of sexually abusing her. Victor doesn't really like Anne, Rex doesn't (sadly, crappy as Rex is Judy deserves some damn romance on this show) like Judy. The end, I think. I bet I forgot LOADS of stuff.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 12 December 2003 14:12 (twenty-two years ago)

Judy should hook up with that new nurse.

Minty (Minty), Friday, 12 December 2003 22:03 (twenty-two years ago)

Now THERE'S a shocka pre-xmas plot twist...

petra jane (petra jane), Sunday, 14 December 2003 03:44 (twenty-two years ago)

No, the hunky Samoan one, jeez. Tho it has been ages since Shorters could boast any hot girl-on-girl action.

Minty (Minty), Sunday, 14 December 2003 07:27 (twenty-two years ago)

all too true. i think toni should switch teams, now that i think she's hot.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Monday, 15 December 2003 00:15 (twenty-two years ago)

Waverly did a stupid radio commercial.
lucas: How did Waverley get in the radio?
nick: Good question, how DID Waverley get in the radio?

alex (alex), Tuesday, 16 December 2003 10:45 (twenty-two years ago)

She should get in the radio and STAY THERE

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 16 December 2003 11:21 (twenty-two years ago)

Hey! What happened to Shannon's fashion designing?! She seemed to forget about it after that Missy girl left.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Tuesday, 16 December 2003 12:01 (twenty-two years ago)

She's too busy being a Catering Diva now, do keep up!

Next week, Shannon the multi-lingual rollerskating air hostess polo champion.

petra jane (petra jane), Tuesday, 16 December 2003 12:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Rollerskating air hostess polo? Is that the sport where you ride around on rollerskating air hostesses? Best sport ever!

Minty (Minty), Tuesday, 16 December 2003 23:20 (twenty-two years ago)

I am going to watch the last three nights of Sh St all tonight, god I'm looking forward to it.

Livvie (Livvie), Wednesday, 17 December 2003 06:27 (twenty-two years ago)

what happened tonight?

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Wednesday, 17 December 2003 08:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Shannon said to Delphi that Marshall likes her so she ran home to tell M that she likes him, she did then noticed he was looking at the Geoff footage again and ran off to Dom's house to stay. Dom and Marshall kept warning Delphi about each other. Victor revealed his true alibi, on the night of Geoff's murder he was in a motel room with LI MEI!!! Tama and Shannon fought a bit, out of the blue in true Sh St fashion. Tash went to Dom for help and Dom kept trying to brainwash her into thinking that Chris is bad and shit, tho Tash wants to take it back. Donna saw them together and looked angry and is gonna tell Chris. It should get violent. That's about it.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 17 December 2003 10:43 (twenty-two years ago)

I really like Victor's alibi. So now the murder's down to Dom or Nick, I guess. HMMMM suddenly NICK is ILL

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Wednesday, 17 December 2003 13:16 (twenty-two years ago)

but WHERE was rex on the night of the murder??

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Wednesday, 17 December 2003 21:11 (twenty-two years ago)

What kind of idiot murderer leaves a big boot print on the floor?

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 18 December 2003 08:17 (twenty-two years ago)

a tall one. Or a midget in clown-shoes. No-one suspects the midget clown!

petra jane (petra jane), Thursday, 18 December 2003 09:05 (twenty-two years ago)

dom got fired. he's so gonna blow up the clinic or rape delphi or something.

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Thursday, 18 December 2003 09:34 (twenty-two years ago)

God how fucking PREDICTABLE tonight was. I don't get why a short-arse like Dom apparently has such big shoes though. Maybe he's secretly a midget clown?

petra jane (petra jane), Friday, 19 December 2003 10:36 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm going to miss it so much. Looking back over this, it's quite amazing how many of our theories have come true! Well not that amazing I guess, Sh St isn't the most unpredictable programme ever.

Livvie (Livvie), Saturday, 20 December 2003 01:52 (twenty-two years ago)

Dom = Sideshow Bob, evidently.

Schwingung (Damian), Saturday, 20 December 2003 11:51 (twenty-two years ago)

I reckon if Anne doesn't die she's gonna be in a wheelchair for a while. Or she'll go back to Cambridge to recover.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Sunday, 21 December 2003 00:05 (twenty-two years ago)

Fate Worse Than Death!!!!!

petra jane (petra jane), Sunday, 21 December 2003 22:10 (twenty-two years ago)

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Sunday, 28 December 2003 13:18 (twenty-two years ago)

The Lady Ms Lurex (lucylurex), Monday, 29 December 2003 06:24 (twenty-two years ago)

did it end or something?

J.D. (Justyn Dillingham), Monday, 29 December 2003 07:15 (twenty-two years ago)

only for a few weeks! but since the end of the shortland st season i have dreamt about dom TWICE. once he was holding my cousins captive underneath a lake of ice in a secret cave on rangitoto. what they need to do is bring back shortland street now.

ichigo pan desu (i am strawberry bread), Monday, 29 December 2003 08:15 (twenty-two years ago)

It's kinda ok having a break from Shortland St, because now I'm realising how much my day revolved around it. Like I HAD to be back in time for it but now I can stay in town til 8 playing video games if I so desire. Also now that I have a decent VCR I can actually set the tape for it when it comes back on, wow!

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Monday, 29 December 2003 10:38 (twenty-two years ago)
