ive had lots beards but never let it get this out of control - its starting to get all crazy diff lengths and i think it has knots in it - i need to get a beard comb too - anyway i bought this unit at target for $16.95 it has four attachments including a nose and ear hair trimmer - imna try to leave the beard as long as possible while getting it a little more uniform

ok so i used the head hair trimmer attachment on the closest setting cause my beard is just too fn long for that sissy beard attachment - then i tried to clean up the edges w/the shaving piece but that shit worked not at all - i threw it away and ended up using a razor - around the jawline it was still way longer on my right side than the left so i took the beard unit w/o the length shield thing and cleaned that up free style like - it was fun the sink had beard hair all in it - still havent tried the ear/nose piece

nah its cool--i keep mine at a three w/ a shitty trimmer, with nicer trimmers i need to up to like a 4 for proper lenght--usually about 1-2 a week, depending on how much the chick complains

I'm 35 years old and still can't grow a proper beard.

well my parents are buddhist so i grew up w/it - i continue to engage because its the most meaningful thing i know - its generally v good imo tho im no expert on the myriad buddhist traditions and situations

huh, that's fascinating. i would've bet the 7 dollars i have in my wallet that it was something you had come to on your own. does it have positive things that you actively use in day-to-day life - like, does it affect your general outlook or are there rules or teachings that influence how you live - or is it more about locating you in the universe and more spiritual stuff?

mostly its a training that allows u to develop sympathy and understand the limitations of conceptuality - tho rules and cosmicness and all sorts delightful things certainly are part of the deal

lots of buddhists throughout the world are vegetarian but in the tibetan tradition theres not much of a history of that because basically the food they had was barley and what you could get from a a yak - these days its become common for younger teachers raised in india or the west to advocate against eating meat - my community def has lots of vegetarians but my teacher eats practically nothing but meat - its one of my great fears that he will wake up one day and ask everyone to cio w/the steaks etc

i dont know what histology is but getting enough sleep and nourishment will prob help yr test results more than any studying youll be able to do in that time - i guess the trick it to figure out how much sleep and food you really need - also maybe stop fucking around on ilx

basically i pretty much avoided it cause i dislike movies abt men crying over chix especially if its portrayed in a gently zinging manner. when i saw it the other day tho i laughed and laughed. its pretty great. the english man and paul rudd both say words to make the heart and mind free like a butterfly and the front desk girl is the perfect woman except for her reaction to buddys brief honestly regretted dalliance w/his ex the star of csi miami. i found her behavior in that scene to be quite out of character. it was pretty gross to see the gross guy naked all the time theres something quite gross abt that guy but i guess thats what makes the joke funny. i did admittedly laugh at his penis all ten times it was shown to me. i really liked it when he while crying told the hawaiian dude he looked like a big baby. that was a good comeback. i also especially enjoyed the vampire song he would sing. good song.

I enjoy your vlog. Do you have any words of advice as to how to regularly sit my ass on the mat and do the things that the nice people at the shambhala center taught me to do? 'Cause I ain't really doing those things even though I know they would be helpful to me.

o ha did u go to the dc shambhala center? im trying to think if i know anyone there

im certainly no expert on this topic as my ilx time dwarfs my meditation time but there are def some simple thing you can do

meditate for a short period of time - ten minutes is fine - dont make a big deal out of it - really if yr interested in this training consistency is more important than quantity

create an appropriate place in yr home - simple uncluttered comfortable etc - i have a pretty elaborate shrine in my house - if thats too religious for you u can always just light some incense or a candle - all of these things help to create a good environment

enjoy yrself and keep an open mind - just practice the form and see what happens while avoiding an overly ponderous or serious approach - any sort of fulfillment or failure fantasies will always be inadequate

then the other aspect is whether you have an interest in buddhist teachings - hearing studying and contemplating teachings and relating to a community are prob the most effective encouragement for practice - obv all that requires a whole other level of involvement

I did in fact go to the dc shambhala center in dc and had a v. positive experience there. Upon their recommendation I read "Turning the Mind Into an Ally" and would really like to have a regular sitting practice but seem kinda stuck at actually getting it going in a regular way. Not so much into buddhist teachings per se--I'm down with judaism these days--but the shambhala approach to meditation is appealing to me.

I get very caught up in the "hai am i doing this right?" thing when I sit, and it becomes rather frustrating :(

well if u liked the shambhala center you should ask them to give you a meditation instructor who can help u w/the lol am i doing this right part and leave out the buddhist philosophy if thats not yr thing - doing a meditation program can def help w/familiarity too

some of eastwoods best scowling in a long time. aiming for concise storytelling and contained tension it mostly succeed tho by no means matches this years genre standouts paranoid park and redbelt. he is a lovable old man who knows how to finish things and there are some cute kids who live next and a cute asian gang too. a twist ending even comes included in the package. my only complaint is really i dont think street corner rapists wear striped tank tops like that. thats more of a date rape look. this movie is for some reason named after a car.

i mean essentially its way more money than i think he deserves!! dont get me wrong it makes sense from a roster standpoint, and assuming mt plays to his past ability the team will definitely be better next year. but im sort of against signing these 8-10 yr contracts on principle--i just dont think it makes sense financially, and id rather lose a terrific player to free agency than be hanging on to an albatross for 6 years (i mean why not pump some of that money into scouting/recruiting and lock down younger guys at deep discounts, like "we" did in 96, 97, etc?)--and in the end im the one who has to pay obscene amounts of money to see them play at yankee stadium or subscribe to YES. i guess it one sentence--it feels like just throwing money at the problem!!! i guess its the yankees way.

who knows tho, im not a gm, and i do think teixeira is a terrific addition to the team. in all honesty though id rather see a so-called "rebuilding" year, keep shedding contracts, and devote more resources to the (imo) weak farm system

this was sort of a frustrating experience in that it has many sexy ridiculous qualities to recommend but somewhat undercuts them w/uneasy motivation. my advice to this show would be: know thy self. and make yr plots make more sense. i carry no guilt revealing the killers identity is plain stupid and irrelevant. just cause yr doing some over the top shit doesnt mean the stories should be all whatever. no instead u have to craft seductive scenarios w/o being ostentatious. thats key. its the two girls what really kept me watching - theyre hot and charismatic in high quality ways - props too to vampire sheriff and the gulf war vet.
