2015 NLDS Mets v Dodgers

Rooting Dodgers here, but don't want either team to win a game after this series.

anyone but the Dodgers and their 320 million.

The Mets are a great story, but I want to see Kershaw and Greinke as often as possible--I most want to see the Jays against the Dodgers in the WS, see our hitters up against those two.

picked L.A., would be fine either way - mets for hometown loyalty, dodgers to see as many kershaw/greinke starts as possible, plus the possibility of the puig show and the new aggrieved columns it would undoubtedly provoke

Other than by statute, it's no different. Both should be illegal.

The neighbourhood play was always against the rules but I think they started enforcing it when instant replay was brought in.

thing that gets me most upset is there already is a rule against this! though I can't think of a single time I've ever seen a runner ruled out for deliberately taking out a defender to break up a double-play. hilarious to me that we split all these hairs with instant replay and yet completely ignore rule that says "if you deliberately attempt to interfere with a fielder to break up a double play you are out and the ball is dead."

The call on the field was that Utley's slide was legal (there was no interference call, he was "safe" on the play, he wasn't ejected) so I'm not sure how the suspension is supposed to be consistent with the in-game ruling.

It's really about keeping him from playing in Citi Field, I think.

I don't hear Harold Reynolds often. Listening to him shift the blame to Tejada, I can understand the exasperation.

I'd love to sit in on that appeal, as Utley's side shows one slide after another that were identical and weren't called.
